Park
“Teggs nose is a lovely hill just by Macclesfield forest, quite a walk to the top but all on good paths and steps. There is a cafe at the top so you can put back the calories. On a nice day you can see over to Manchester, Derbyshire and also see Jodrell Bank Telescope.”

Museum
“Follow the journey of silk making, from cocoon to loom at The Silk Museum. As well as the stunning displays of silk items, there is a fascinating programme of temporary exhibitions to enjoy. Paradise Mill is next door. Step back into the 1930s with a guided tour; see restored Jacquard looms and machinery, and watch as they weave their magic!”

Cinema
“Situated upstairs in the Heritage Centre is a small one screen cinema showing current films. It has an old theatre feel to it including theatre style seats. A bar is open before the film starts serving beer, wine, soft drinks and there is a small stand near the ticket desk to purchase popcorn and sweets etc. ”
