THE-BEST-SEA-VIEW 3'ferrytoValletta

!! All taxes (tourist tax and vat) are included in the price !! (valid for bookings taking place till 30th June 2026) no need to pay extre fees when you come to the flat ! From July 2026 the tourist tax has been increased form 0.5 to 1.5 euros for guest. For any booking taking place after 1st July 2026 an adjustment of 1 euro euros for each guest will be asked here. Enjoy this boutique one-bedroom apartment with stunning sea-views located in the history-steeped town of Senglea within walking distance to Birgu and just 3 (but amazing) minutes ferry to Valletta. The apartment has a variety of original Maltese features and provides an authentic experience. In the hart of the historic Malta, set right at the magnificent waterfront of the oldest of the Three cities (founded by the Knights in 1552), this apartment offers stunning views, authentic historical setting for the sophisticated traveler and all the modern conveniences at a knock-down price! Among the latter we count convenient ferry, bus and water taxi transport links to Valletta and beyond, exquisite restaurant and bar outlets just across the creek, plus the numerous local establishments at hand. The apartment is furnished with a tasteful emphasis on the original Maltese features now rapidly disappearing throughout the island's noisier and busier tourist areas. These features include traditional patterned tiles (to keep the weary traveler's feet cool in the heat), traditional Maltese balcony insightfully converted into a dining room with breath-taking views of the Grand harbour and the cities of Valletta and Vittoriosa (beautiful settings should finally be counted as the necessary condition for healthy eating and living!). Old wooden beams adorn the aristocratic high ceilings, adding a touch of nostalgic grandeur. All this combines to offer an unbeatable travel experience which breaks radically with the standardized mass hotel packages of today's tourist industry. Come and explore a little-known Maltese locality which offers a glimpse into the authentic Maltese life-style; a locality that is distant, yet close enough to the more established sites. The ferry connection to Valletta(4min) across the Grand Harbour is second to no other type of transportation (sometimes the truth of the old worn-out proverb that the journey is more important than the destination holds unconditionally but if you insist on renting a car, there is plenty of parking space also). The apartment comprises a bedroom with a double niche bed, a spacious and elegantly vintage-furnished living room (with a sofa-bed), a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette (for those who are tired of eating out and want to experiment with local fresh produce at home) and a bathroom (needless to say, also with sea views!). The property is just around 10..15 min taxi from the airport.

All about Malta

This tiny speck of land located just south of Sicily has been touched by every nation that has landed here over the past few thousand years. Romans, Phoenicians, Normans, and the Knights of the Order of St. John have all left their mark on this distinctive island nation. Its diverse character is reflected in its mixture of astonishing historical architecture and astounding natural wonders.

While many visit for the beaches and the 300 days of decent weather per year, there is so much more to Malta than simple sun-seeking. Malta is the largest of the three islands that comprise the archipelago, home to the capital, Valletta. Gozo is a mid-sized island and more tranquil, while the tiny Comino is famed for its Blue Lagoon. Maltese towns feature picturesque winding lanes, extraordinarily lavish churches, and world-renowned prehistoric sites. The coast features dramatic limestone cliffs and pure blue ocean. For the traveller determined to relax on the beach and also get their fix of history, Malta is a dream location.

What are the top things to do in Malta?

St. John’s Co-Cathedral

If you plan to see only one historical Maltese site, then head to this remarkable structure in Valletta, built by the Order of St. John in 1572. Though imposing, it looks quite sedate on the outside. But inside is a different story. Ornate doesn’t really do justice to the high Baroque style with every surface seemingly gilded or painted. The museum attached to the building is equally illuminating.

Blue Lagoon

Yes, all those slightly smug social media posts are accurate: The waters of the Blue Lagoon really are that blue. This natural wonder needs to be seen to be believed. Located on the tiny island of Comino, the lagoon’s white sands and crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimmers, snorkelers, or just plain old starers. But the whole island, which is car-free, is a great place to explore.

Buskett Gardens

Located close to the town of Siġġiewi, this is the only wooded area in the entire archipelago. Once forests covered the whole region, but most trees were cut down to make ships back in the olden days. This small area was retained as a hunting ground by the Knights of St John and is a wonderful place to stroll and picnic, with blankets of wild flowers and natural springs pitted throughout.
