  • Wow! What a magical place to stay. We absolutely loved everything about the Jack Sparrow House; the idyllic surrounds, the beautiful view from the upstairs window, the cow neighbours, and the unobtrusive cleverness of the building design that seemed to tuck away everything we brought belying it's tiny footprint. A marvelous trip that will take some beating. I can see a return visit on the cards for sure.

  • Our experience at the Jack Sparrow House was amazing and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for some time off the beaten path and wants to enjoy Cornwall's natural beauty! Jonathan and co. were able to accommodate our late arrival, and Nicolas happily showed us the house, the shower box and the property despite how late we arrived. The house is small, but so whimsical and cosy. Seeing the stars above and listening to the wind whistle through our windows lulled us into some of the most peaceful sleep we've had in a very long time. Waking up in the lofted bed to the sounds of birds and to a view of the surrounding country side and ocean felt like a fairytale. Both St. Keverne and Porthallow are within walking distance from the property and are very charming seaside towns. The walks into town are true occasions in themselves, as the footpaths wind through seaside forests, over rolling green hills and beside bubbling streams. If you have the chance, be sure to take the seaside footpath from Porthallow... the views are stunning! We also had wonderful food the entire time! The Five Pilchards of Porthallow is right on the cove and has lovely pub food; Fat Apples Cafe is 1/2 mile from the property and had the best breakfast we've had in recent memory!; the White Hart is in the heart of St. Keverne and had a variety of delicious pub dishes; and Roskilly's farm, up the hill from the centre of St. Keverne, had amazing, freshly farmed food. All in all, we couldn't have had a better weekend and will absolutely return soon! Thank you for crafting such a beautiful respite, Jonathan :-).

  • What an amazing place! We booked Jack Sparrow House for our anniversary and weren't disappointed, it looked exactly like the pictures. The directions emailed to us were spot on, we had no trouble finding it and received a warm welcome on arrival. The attention to detail in the design of the house was brilliant and we only wished we could have stayed for longer than one night. We enjoyed an evening meal at the local pub (Five Pilchards Inn - a 10/15 minute walk through woodland) and breakfast at the Fat Apple Cafe - both recommended too! We hope to be able to go back to Jack Sparrow House and for longer next time. Thanks very much for such wonderful, unusual accommodation!

  • Words cannot even describe how incredible this place is. Beautiful little cottage with everything you need for a long weekend break. The shower is an experience in itself. Our place is close to the creeks and coves of the Helford River and St Anthony and is located in the pretty village of Manaccan, a 20 minute walk from the South West Coast Path, with some good pubs and restaurants around. You’ll love our place because of the location, in a lovely village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
Self contained space within our home, with private shower room and cosy private sitting room including comfy sofa, coffee table, large TV, fridge, kettle, toaster and a selection of breakfast goodies. The light sunny ground floor bedroom has a kingsize bed, and looks out over the garden and countryside, and the pretty Norman church.
Manaccan is a pretty and peaceful village with a friendly thatched pub and a pretty Norman church, in a quiet location close to the Helford river - in the summer you can hire a boat or a kayak from a couple of different locations, both within walking distance, and explore the beautiful tidal creeks. There are fabulous walks from the village, including Frenchman's Creek made famous by Daphne du Maurier. Boots may be needed after wet weather!
  • Had a really enjoyable 3 night stay in this excellent, self-contained accommodation, which is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect for exploring on foot straight out of the front door, and also only a short drive to many other beautiful spots. Really good range of breakfast things provided and lots of thoughtful extra touches. Wendy and John are lovely hosts and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need to get the best out of your stay.

    James2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time in Wendy's. Everything it was perfect, fitting with the house description and our needs. Clean, comfy and very warm. Wendy and her husband made us feel very comfortable. You can feel totally independent there from the rest of the house. Totally recommend!

    Cristina2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy’s home is absolutely beautiful! She has done a great job sectioning off the first floor of the home to make a very comfortable, private living space for guests. Everything was perfect. She and her husband were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in this beautiful part of the world!

    Rachel2017-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy`s place is exactly as described! Wendy and John made us feel at home, absolutely nothing was missing in the flat for you to enjoy your stay. Very clean and beautiful home.

  • Wendy's place is brilliant so lovely and self contained. Wendy was very helpful and provided us with wellies which were much needed for the wedding we were going to. The breakfasts were lovely Wendy had thought about everything! We loved staying at their home.

  • A very comfortable suite with everything you'd want or need. Great hosts. Beautiful area.

    Michael 2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant stay for one night during a walking holiday. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the room and facilities were good, and the property was handy for the local pub. Would definitely stay again if I find myself in the area again.

    Barry2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy and her husband made us feel so welcome in their home, which is beautiful and set in a stunning area. We returned each day to find special little treats such as biscuits, fresh fruit and bread which was such a nice surprise. There are some amazing places to visit such as Kynance Cove and Hayle beach. The local pub, The New Inn served lovely food and had a very friendly landlord. We did a lot of cycling including the Portreath to Devoran coast to coast trail which is not too difficult for any level of fitness. There are some big hills in the area so it is good to check out your route before you start! A fabulous holiday from start to finish and we are definitely intending to return next year.

Thatched, Timeless, Tendera is a real jewel and a wonderful family holiday home. She oozs character, and has views to die for. She is a 16th century, thatched, cob, listed, building. With low ceilings and beams throughout and new decor. The surrounding fields and area is S.S.S.I land and an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
As well as the gorgeous interior of Tendera there is a front garden and back yard. The back yard is a sun trap and seats 4. The front garden is lawn and has breath taking sea views, a BBQ and picnic bench for 6.
Tendera is a detached cottage. There are 3 cottages along side each other, yet not attached. Tendera being one, then the next house has a local older man, then another holiday home. St Athony, is the closest hamlet , and has a beach, letter box, church and a boat hire shop. We are surrounded by trees, grasses, rivers, birds, beaches and more, which are forever changing and brilliant at all times of the year. All you need is a good storm and it could all be admired in front of the log burner. The breath taking Helford river and Carne creek is a 5 minute walk, down hill and an amazing get away. A ferry runs (depending on tides and the time of the year) to the other side where there is a pub, beach and gardens. My guests will experience peace, and see the authenticity of rural life. There are many gardens surrounding Tendera, two which are close by are, Boshan Estate, and Kestle Barton (which is also an art gallery) which is very close. Roskillys ice cream parlour, and working farm, with a café and shop, is 20mins away, towards St Keverne, and worth a visit. I personally love it and visit with the kids regularly. Helford (our neighbouring village) has an excellent small shop and pub (The Ship Wrights). The closest supermarkets are in Helston. They include Sainburys, Tesco and Lidl. About 25 mins away.
  • We had a really good time staying at the cottage and with a wonderful host. We especially liked the view on the ocean. The house is decorated very lovely and provides all necessary tools needed for cleaning and cooking. We were very satisfied with our stay here.

    Peggy2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures really do not do justice to this lovely cottage. Downstairs there is a large fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen, separate snug sitting room, utility room and cloakroom. Upstairs the main bedroom and bedroom two have views of the sea: waking to the sun shining on the sea is something special. The family bathroom has a good electric shower over the bath tub. The central heating system looks like it could cope with any cold weather winter may bring and the broadband WiFi was impressive. We walked the short distance down to join the Southwest Coastal Path and then along towards Helford Village where the Shipwright Arms provide a warm welcome and excellent food. Aimee was a ideal host and looked after us very well.

    Richard2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for an amazing time in your beautiful cottage. Fantastic views of the sea, great walks, really close to the water and a well kept place to stay! Would definetly visit again!

    Guy2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage very clean and comfortable, great for walking and finding little beaches along the coastal path.

    Lewis2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful space! The house is gorgeous and literally 2 minutes walk from the Cornwall coast path and access to secluded beaches. Great being next to St Anthony for sailing/boating/kayaks etc (and super for damp people to warm up again in a hot shower! The kitchen is spacious and great to hang out in.

A characterful and charming thatched cottage in Helford Village, situated on the edge of the creek. A lived in and loved cottage, it's the perfect place for a quiet holiday or to enjoy with the family.
Although Penkestle cottage has only been in our family for 47 years it is however about 500 years old, so there are certain things that come with an old house! It belonged to our father and is very much loved and lived in and where we grew up. There are all the amenities that you would want and expect from a place to stay but the crockery and cutlery do not match and we are waiting on some new bits of furniture to be delivered. We feel that this adds to the charm of the cottage and hope that you will agree, but want you to know where you are staying in advance. Although the cottage sleeps 10, it sits 8 comfortably around the kitchen table and the sitting room will sit more like 6 on sofas and chairs. We use it as a family home and have 6 kids between us so this is why there are so many beds!
Helford is a small and friendly village with a waterside thatched pub at the heart of it. It has a jetty that comes out to allow you to pull up by boat on a high tide or for the children to try to catch crabs from in the summer. There is local shop which sells most of what you need, including freshly made bread, pasties and a selection of wines. During the summer months the only cars that are allowed in the village are the ones of people staying there so children are often out and about and to be found paddling and swimming in the creek outside the cottage at high tide, and playing in the creek at low tide! There are small beaches all along the river which you can get to by boat or by walking along the wooded coastal paths. The Lizard Peninsula, about 20 minutes drive away, offers a slightly wilder and more rugged coastline, with beautiful beaches such as Kynance. There are some great walks around the area, including Frenshmans Creek (of daphne du Maurier acclaim) and the Gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan a ferry journey away.
  • Beautiful place in a beautiful village.

    James2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Charming location. Lots of walks, sailing, boating or just relaxing in the garden and watch the world go by. Close enough to the pub and the village shop too. All round a great location.

    Charles2017-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for a few days in May and it was just wonderful - one of the best holidays I've had in ages. Helford is a beautiful village and Pickle was a fantastic and responsive host. The cottage itself was everything I wanted, very pretty and with a good homely atmosphere. I'd love to come back one day.

    Charlotte2017-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • An extremely charming and comfortable cottage, with lovely garden and backing woodland, set in the focal point of the idyllic Helford: the makings of an unforgettable holiday. With some supplies you could happily stay in the village for days without leaving and explore the many delights ... or, just hole up and soak up the sun and stream-meets-river-meets-sea scenery. Thanks for sharing Pickle!

    Daniel2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most wonderful family holiday at Penkestle - so much so we didn't leave the village. Happy kids makes happy parents!

    Peter2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really wonderful half-term in Helford. Pickle's cottage is situated right in the middle of the village close to the shop and pub. The cottage was really family friendly. The children loved playing in the creek with other children. It is obviously a really loved family home. Yes, the crockery doesn't match but that just made us feel more at home (!) and there's loads of everything, making life really easy. The cottage's location right by the footbridge over the creek is magical and there is a lovely private garden.

    Zoe2017-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazingly beautiful location and perfect location for exploring the droughts of the Helford river. Highly recommend to all. Thank-you Pickle.

  • Lovely place, magical and really comfortable x

    emma2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very special spacious accommodation that works so well with growing families or friends to get together. Our family aged 6 weeks to 65 years were made to feel welcome and comfortable, and needed for nothing except our food and drinks. Beautiful walks surround the property, although we used the car to get to and back, ages of the children 2 and 4 years found it too far to walk from the barn. We visited many coves, beaches all within short distances by car and never had a day where we wondered what to do. The local pubs were so generous with our large family and made us very welcome when we ate out.. especially Shipwreck Arms in Helford. But best of all was cooking on the aga eating around the large kitchen table, then relaxing with wine, children in bed, exhausted!! In front of the large open fire. A perfect retreat!!

    Tina2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Barn is a great place for a family holiday. Very rustic and homely. We had beautiful weather and were able to make full use of the lovely gardens, a great place to relax. Our dog enjoyed running around the grounds and has never looked so tired at the end of the day! We spent many evenings in the barn playing pool. The surrounding area is beautiful, and we were well placed to make the most of the Lizard and further afield across the West of Cornwall.

    Julie2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful rustic accommodation that fitted very well for our family gathering. Clean, tidy and with all appropriate fixtures and fittings required for a break away. Great bed linen. Would certainly recommend.

Safe Haven is a newly built 1st floor apartment which is self contained and has its own front door. It is a one bedroomed apartment with spacious shower room, lounge/diner and separate kitchen. Parking in our drive and just a short walk down the hill to Flushing Cove and Gillan beach. The property has lovely views across Gillan Creek and out to Falmouth Bay.
The apartment is accessed via its own front door and up a flight of stairs; all the accommodation is on the 1st floor, so the views are over the top of our bungalow. It is a perfect location for the Helford River and Helford Village, which are a 10 minute drive away and for walking the coastal footpath, visiting the New Inn in Manaccan or the Fat Apples Cafe at Porthallow or any of the beauty spots on the Lizard, such as Mullion Cove, Kynance Cove, Cadgewith or closer to hand, St. Keverne and Roskilly's Farm. It is set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the area certainly lives up to that title. Helston, Falmouth and Penzance are all within easy reach by car. Swimming, fishing and kyaking, canoeing & boating are all enjoyed in Gillan natural harbour with equipment available to hire from St. Anthony, just round the corner.
This is a quiet residential and holiday area; there are no local shops, the nearest being at St. Keverne (4 miles away) and supermarkets are in Helston (12 miles away) although they do deliver shopping ordered online. There is a C of E Church at St. Anthony, one at Manaccan and a Methodist Church also at Manaccan. The New Inn public house is in Manaccan (2 miles away) where meals are also served.
  • Safe Haven is an idyllic home from home. It is perfectly equipped, beautifully laid out and wonderfully located. David and Susan have thought of everything and if you stay here you'll want for nothing. This area of Cornwall is beautiful and here is no end of things to do and see. The property is new, spacious, clean and incredibly practical. Susan and David were excellent, friendly hosts. They were great at communicating with us - both before and during our stay - and could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We fully intend to be back the same time next year!!! Once again, thank you for a fantastic stay.

  • A beautiful and idyllic place to stay with plenty of space, comfort and everything you need for a coastal escape. David and Sue have been very thoughtful in their provision of what you need including kitchen utensils, fluffy towels and garden access. They are accommodating to any extra needs but the place is kitted out very well and so spacious, light and comfortable. Highly recommended and we hope to return!

  • Good communication between ourselves prior to our arrival. Very warm welcome and over a drink with David and Susan on our arrival they were very keen to share their knowledge of the area, with some great tips. Very peaceful location and near to a quiet cove, nice for an early evening walk. Very clean and comfortable accommodation, beautifully presented and well equipped. We felt very well looked after but not imposed upon.

    Emma2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We hadn't stayed in this area of Cornwall before so we were delighted that there was so much to see and do which included some really beautiful scenery and coves and villages. Our favourite and a must for all was Porthlevin which is a pretty harbour village with gorgeous scenery and walks. David and Sue made us feel so welcome from the moment we got there and 'Safe Haven' was just that. We loved it there. The small lanes took a bit of getting used to but David's excellent directions got us there but we did need them on us each time we arrived back from an outing, however by the end of the week we had it sussed but we would definitely recommend a decent map of the area especially if you want to venture out to see all that this lovely area has to offer.

April Cottage is in the picturesque village of Helford down a private road. It is peaceful yet in the heart of the village - a few minutes walk to the pub, village store and foot-ferry to Helford Passage. Guests love the luxury home-from-home feel and beautiful setting. It has a large, bespoke, sociable kitchen with a dining area, views of a secluded garden and the river beyond. The bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable using The White Company sheets and down bedding. *Sat-Sat lettings please*.
This New England-style single storey house is in the quintessential village of Helford on the Helford Estuary. A beautifully decorated property in a neutral colour pallet, personalised by the family’s collection of pictures and curios. Billed as a true home-from-home it has been totally refurbished over the last three years. It allows for bright open plan living with two patios for alfresco dining, to catch the sun all day and enjoy the views over the estuary. Only a few minutes walk from the waters edge, village pub and shop, or stroll around the creek to the sailing club and tea room. Also ideal for winter lets due to oil fired central heating, a log burner (seasoned logs provided), and under floor heating in the bathrooms which creates a snug, damp-free, cosy escape. This property is a Saturday-Saturday weekly rental - some shorter stays out of season, or at short notice if the property is unbooked, are happily considered. There are three double bedrooms overlooking the garden, all with views of the water beyond. One is a Super King with a door on to the garden, the second bedroom is King size with a large window and the third bedroom has two single beds and also has a door onto the garden. All beds have luxurious down pillows and duvets with White Company bedding. Both bathrooms have been completely refurbished with luxury fittings (like a Catchpole & Rye basin), under-floor heating and large heated towel rails. The family bathroom is perfect for having a relaxing soak in the full-sized double-ended tub. The other bathroom is ideal for shower-lovers with its large walk-in rainforest shower and stylish boutique-hotel style sanitary ware. The large sitting room (8 x 3.5m) with two sofas is focused around relaxing in front of the log burner and overlooking the views of the garden and Helford Estuary through the two sets of floor-to-ceiling patio doors. However it is also very well-equipped with media and entertainment facilities to while away any rainy days - large TV, 100+ DVD collection, Freeview & BT Sports package, BT fibre optic broadband and Vodafone Sure Signal. The living room flows through a traditional Cornish granite arch into a bespoke kitchen with Dinesen wood floor, range cooker and Nespresso coffee machine – so bring your favourite pods! Conveniently located off the kitchen is a utility room / mud room with access to outside and contains a washing machine, separate tumble dryer, additional fridge and ample storage. The dual aspect kitchen has a large dining table that always feels sunny and comfortably seats up to ten. All the bedrooms and sitting room look out on to the secluded garden and Helford Estuary beyond. Private off road parking on-site for up to two estate (or three smaller) cars – a rarity in Helford! However not suitable for children under 8 because the patio has an unfenced drop of 1.5 metres from the patio down onto the lawn, however babes-in-arms are welcome.
The hamlet of Helford offers absolute tranquillity. It is literally at the end of the road to the sea! You can make the most of this peace by enjoying the surrounding countryside and coasts. For entertainment there is a pub with large terrace overlooking the Helford Estuary, a tea shop in the converted church and a wonderful local store (that stocks everything including fresh bread, croissants and ice-cream). Sailors can join the Helford River Sailing Club for a week or day sail dinghies from Helford Point or St Anthony's Bay or moor your own dinghy at Steve Potter's pontoon just a few minutes walk from the house and is accessible at all states of the tide. The rocks are wonderful for crabbing and the property is just 50 metres from the Coastal Path so why not take a short walk through the bluebell woods to Frenchman's Creek or explore Penarvon Cove. There are many lovely beaches just a short drive away. The foot Ferry from Helford Point (3 minutes walk) takes you across the river to the Ferryboat Inn for a delicious lunch or walk along to Glendurgan or Trebah Gardens. We often walk in a circle round Helford and include the Kestle Barton Art Gallery and garden. You can visit sub tropical gardens, take the King Harry Ferry to the Roseland Peninsula see the Maritime Museum in Falmouth and then take ferry to St Mawes for lunch/afternnon tea at the famous Tresanton Hotel. The Ship Inn at Mawgan is well worth booking for an evening meal, run by husband and wife team Ali and Greg, some of their amazing food can also be bought at the local shop. We are big fans but so are most of Cornwall so book early! The South Cafe has just reopened in Manaccan, just up the road. St Ives is of course well worth a trip and you can park and ride and get the train into the town. The Porthminster Beach Cafe near the station is another of our favourite places to eat - you need to book at busy times. Trevaskis Farm has high quality Pick Your Own and a restaurant with the biggest choice of deserts we've ever seen! Fresh fish can be bought from Kernowsashini Farm just 4 miles away, or the Cornish Shellfish company in Gweek. There is a seal sanctuary near Helston and don't forget the Floral Dance if you are there in early May. Go down the Poldark Mine near Redruth (tin mining capital of Cornwall in18C), or go to Roskillys Farm and watch the cows being milked and maybe have a wood fired pizza. See the Lizard Lighthouse Centre and Marconi Wireless Station or visit Porthleven harbour - Rick Stein has just opened a restaurant there and we can recommend the husband and wife run SeaDrift cafe. There is the Minack Open Air Theatre we recommend going via Mousehole the picturesque harbour and small town. The interesting Tremenheere Sculpture Garden is also in that direction. West Cornwall is also rich in Neolithic and Bronze Age Heritage sites. You can use our two-man Gemini sit-on canoe - just launch it by the pub - and explore the creeks and banks of the Helford River. Golfers can enjoy Mullion Golf Course, a fabulous cliff top and links course or you can just relax and enjoy the many different agapanthus in the secluded garden.
  • We had an absolutely perfect stay in this gorgeous house. We loved the house and garden and all the unexpected touches- toys for the kids, crab nets, canoe etc made it all even more special. The location is perfect- in a beautiful village, with a little store, riverside pub and lots of things for kids to do- swimming, boating, crabbing and exploring the countryside. Thanks again to Jay for letting us stay in your house- we would love to come back one day! Ps- also loved the walk from Helford to Manaccan- and afterwards lunch or a drink at South Cafe. Wellie boots essential!

    Dowr Penty
A lovingly restored, bright, airy cottage close to the villages of Coverack and St Keverne. Small private front garden and larger shared garden with views over fields. Characterful, friendly and quirky, perfect for a romantic break or family stay.
Gillan is a lovingly restored holiday cottage. A high, vaulted ceiling and painted beams give the main, open plan living area an airy, bright feel, and there are two bedrooms, both comfortably fitted out and painted in calm, natural shades. I (the owner, Hannah) bought Gillan in 2014. Since then, my partner Simon and I have worked to lovingly transform it from a higgledy-piggledy, dated little pad into a much loved holiday home-from-home. Our ambition was always to create a laid-back, open plan living space, where no one is left out of the action, and those cooking can still enjoy a glass of wine and a chat with those reading a book, drawing, listening to the radio or just having a post-beach walk snooze. Inspired by the natural colours and textures of Cornwall, we swapped mismatched, dark, swirly-pattered carpets for clean laminate flooring (perfect for just sweeping the sand off), and turned the two gaudy bedrooms into peaceful nests for resting and relaxing in. We whipped aged carpet tiles out of the bathroom and gave it a colourful new look. Keen to create a characterful, friendly feel, but with a rugged, easy-to-care-for edge, with sandy feet and muddy boots in mind, we hope you'll feel at ease and at home. There's a small private garden to the front of the property, where you can sit out and eat your breakfast (if the weather's kind to you!) and a larger, communal garden shared between Gillan and the other cottages which look onto the yard, which looks out over fields, and had a larger picnic table. This is located on the other side of the yard from the cottage. There's parking on hardstanding to the front of the cottage and all bed linen and towels are provided for you.
The cottage is located on 'The Meneage', or 'land of the saints', a beautiful rural area of South West Cornwall, close to the villages including St Keverne - handy for local supplies, and home to the gorgeous Greenhouse Restaurant (all organic, locally-sourced produce, and rather special). It's around 3 miles from the beaches of Coverack - a breaktakingly located harbour town, with a dramatic peninsula to walk, and the most wonderful fish and chips. Other nearby villages include Helford, which is set extremely beautifully along the Helford River, and features the wonderful and welcoming Shipwrights Arms pub. Helston is the nearest bigger town for things like a Tesco and Sainsbury. This is excellent country for walking - pick up the Coastal Path why don't you? Or take a trip over farmland and fields, and it's within easy reach of well know Cornish landmarks including the artist haven of St Ives, St Michael's Mount and the harbour town of Mousehole.
  • This was a lovely cottage and a great place to explore the beautiful Lizard Peninsula and South West Cornwall from - would definitely recommend!

  • We have spent a wonderful week in Cornwall and in your cottage. The weather was very good, sunny every day. We were amazed by the narrow roads. The cottage has a good localisation for visiting Cornwall. In fact, each day we have visited some places such as Coverack, St Michael Mount, St Ives .. We have tasted to diffrents foods like fish and chips, ice cream, cornish pasties. Landscapes are also beautiful overhelmingly with the sea. Beds in the cottage were very confortable whereas the shower was quite difficult to use especially for getting the good temperature with enough water. Moreover, the table in the kitchen should be bigger for four people. However, we suggest this cottage for everyone !

  • What a lovely cottage in the middle of Cornwall! The perfect location for a countryside retreat.

    Jérôme2017-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really wonderful stay and the cottage was a great base from which to explore the beautiful Lizard Peninsula - a part of Cornwall that we hadn't visited before and which is simply stunning. The house was very peaceful and charming - with lovely local coves (we ran (!) to Porthallow and Flushing) and nice pubs within an easy drive. The weather wasn't great (!) so we enjoyed cosying in and watching DVDs and doing the jigsaws in the evenings. We had everything we needed and the whole booking experience was very easy (including good communication beforehand, straightforward key collection, and a welcome with biscuits and a jug of milk/tea/coffee) - making it a truly relaxing break. Slept so well - everything very comfortable, and came back feeling rejuvenated! Thank you and we hope to visit again one day.

  • We had a great holiday in Hannah's cottage. It's a really pretty, well organised and comfortable little house in an absolutely gorgeous part of Cornwall. Communication with the host was easy and there were no dramas at all during our stay. Lots of helpful information on hand as well as books and puzzles. Would thoroughly recommend.

  • Tea and cake were waiting for us when we arrived and the cottage was lovely and warm. The directions we were given were great, no problems finding the cottage even though it was quite isolated but next to a farm. The rooms were spacious and it was great having the beds made ready for us. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We had a great time.

My place is a Cornish cottage with a large attached self-contained holiday let in the heart of the village in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Stunning beaches and coves surround us, as well as the iconic Helford River made famous by the novelist Daphne Du Maurier. A sunny relaxing space perfect for a special getaway with cosy king size bed and kitchen. Has a separate single bedroom and optional use of large sofa bed. Short walk to local pub and short drive to a well stocked village shop.
The space is a large annex. It is light, bright and filled with little touches that makes it unique and well-loved. It is suitable for a couple's break or for young families or a small group of friends. Its versatility lies in its kingsize bedroom area, separate single bedroom, and double sofa bed in the living area - how you use it is up to you!
In the village there is a play area for children, a Fish Shop Kernowsashimi selling fresh fish from the Helford River and Falmouth Bay, and delicious pasties are available from Gear Farm Pasty Shop. A well stocked shop is only a short drive away and you can even walk to the local pub, The Prince of Wales in Newtown. Helston town is only 15 mins drive away. Scenes from Poldark were filmed at Fishing Cove and Dollar Cove nearby. Daphne Du Maurier spent her honeymoon in a cottage on Frenchmans Creek and later wrote her novel whilst staying at the Local Cornish Estate of Trelowarren and learnt to swim at Kennack Sands. Many coves and villages mentioned in Rosamund Pilchers books are easily accessed from here. Helston hosts the Famous Flora Day Dance on May 8th and The Helstonbury 3 day music Festival on July 21 - 23rd,. The town is well stocked with pubs and cafes. Porthleven harbour town hosts the Food Festival 21-23 April. A foodie heaven, it has many eateries, and is a must for surfing and storm-watching and browsing the gift shops and galleries. NT Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens can be accessed via passenger ferry from Helford Point or a short drive by car. Falmouth hosts Sea Shanty, Oyster, Classic Boat Festivals and more and has recently been voted the best place to live in the whole of the UK in the national press. It is home to the National Maritime Museum, galleries, amazing gift shops and loads of fantastic restaurants. For visiting families we have the nearby Helston Flambards theme park, Helston Museum, Helston Railway, Coronation Lake paddle boats and play area, and Penrose Estate walks around the lake leading to Porthleven and Looe Bar - also great for cycling. We also have the Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Mullion Meadows craft shops and small chocolate factory, Roskilly's icecream farm and eatery and the Lizard Lighthouse on hand for a great day out. There are numerous beaches and coves where you can have surf lessons or do some boating or a spot of paddle boarding, not to mention all the free stuff like rock pooling and sandcastle making!

  • Me and my family simply loved the place and the location. Diana was very welcoming and took an extra care to ensure comfort for every one. We were welcomed with a nice cake and all the essentials. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • Diana's place is really comfy and cosy with everything you need for a few days away. It is situated well for exploring as nowhere is very far. So much to see and do in this beautiful area of Cornwall. Diana is a really considerate host and knows the area really well. We had a wonderful week, but two days of rain - however, this wasn't a problem as Diana gave us lots of ideas of things to do and we had lots of fun despite the weather. Hope to visit again soon!

    Annie2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great family space, quiet and comfortable with an amazing host in Diana. We loved the little extras like the home made bread and some fruit in a bowl on the table. A few goodies were also left in the fridge for breakfast. As a family we loved the place and although secluded, access to everywhere we went was no trouble. A great Cornish pub just down the road, food was amazing. Would highly recommend staying with Diana.

    Mark2017-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Just a few short notes about the wonderful stay we recently had at Diana's place. The accommodation was perfect for myself, partner and daughter of 13, offering a single and double room with an interlinking bathroom. The place itself was clean and snug with lots of natural daylight. Diana herself was very warm and welcoming offering lots of useful knowledge about the area. I can also recommend the Prince of Wales pub in the next village, easily walk-able, which served very good food, would especially recommend the local fish dishes. We will definitely revisit.

    Helen2017-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Diana is a thoughtful host, and willing to share lots of great tips about the region. A beautiful place to stay.

  • Great place to stay with everything we needed... (Except perhaps a larger saucepan and frying pan... ) We were treated to a chocolate cake and lovely bread for breakfast. The location is peeceful with walks for ur dog from the accommodation. Would definitely recommend for 3 adults might be a bit small for 5 adults. Diana was a perfect host ... Leaving us to our own devises, with local knowledge if needed. The beds were comfy and the bathroom nice and roomy.

The Boathouse must be one of the finest private houses available for self-catering holiday letting in Cornwall. It commands a truly stunning location right on the beach in a small quiet cove in Gillan, South Helford with beautiful uninterrupted views over the cove and beyond out to sea. The beach is perfect for launching dinghies/kayaks at all states of the tide and provides safe swimming and rock pooling. This beautiful property is peacefully located at the end of a small no through lane.
The house is ideal for large groups. There are two sitting rooms with one being upstairs with fabulous views and leading directly out to the decking. This is a great option for chatting or reading. The other is the downstairs games room with big TV, books and games and a snooker table. This can be the noisy room! The games room opens out onto the patio and overlooks the garden. There is also a separate office/study area upstairs for those needing quiet time.
The area around the Boathouse is quiet and unspoilt. There are plenty of wonderful walks along the coastpath and lots of hidden coves to explore. Luckily there are also a few great places for refreshment which you can walk to as well!

Chy an Gwel, Cornish for ‘house in the meadow’, is a charming detached bungalow in the heart of the village of St Martin in Meneage on the Lizard Peninsula in south west Cornwall. It is our well-loved, lived-in home. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Lizard Peninsula with its stunning coastline and countryside. Chy an Gwel is just over three miles drive from Helford Village and the Helford River and 7 miles to the ancient market town of Helston.
In the quiet village of St Martin, there is a children's play area, a fish shop (Kernowsashimi) and arguably the best pasty shop in Cornwall at Gear Farm. There is also a lovely parish church a short walk away. The Prince of Wales pub in Newtown St Martin is just over half a mile walk (or drive) away, with excellent food and local beers. There is a very well stocked shop selling a wide range of local produce in the village of Mawgan, just two miles away. There are lovely country walks from Chy an Gwel, in particular the tranquil National Trust oak woods and Tremayne quay. • Victoria's bungalow is a lovely little 2 bedroom home that's perfect for a small group. We stayed there as an adult family of 4 and had a really good time. The kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook on holiday and the living room and conservatory are very cosy for hanging out. Everything was really well maintained. The village was beautiful in the Cornish countryside. We really enjoyed our stay all around and would recommend staying there.

Tree Tops is a rustic family cottage sitting in 2 acres of very private lawned gardens with a fantastic view of Port Navas creek and The Helford River. It is a hidden paradise for families with so much to explore, and close to Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens. We are dog friendly (for well behaved dogs!) and the garden is very safe for pets and children. The river, and yacht club are less than 100m away & there are wonderful coastal walks nearby.
"The best place for a family holiday I have ever been to". Mike. June 2017 There is now only one vacant week before October 2017. Sunday August 27 to Sunday September 3. Tree Tops is a 1950s cottage. It is full of character, but not full of Laura Ashley soft fittings as it has just been our hideaway for our family holidays since 1943. Two of the six beds are blow up beds. This comfort level is factored into the price. It is clean, warm, and dry with a lovely real fire heating the sitting room. The view from the kitchen at breakfast time is of the valley and creek. Peaceful, unspoilt (pretty well unchanged for 70 years!), and unique. The gardens are mainly lawn with well kept flower beds. Ideal for families as it is well back and up from the lane, there is plenty of room for ball games and to set up a badminton court. Behind the garden are private, unused woods (well, we use it to explore). In the early morning you will hear a beautiful dawn chorus, and see rabbits feeding at the top of the garden. At dusk you will hear and see owls emerging from the woods for their night time adventures. A few reviews: 'We have enjoyed peace and tranquility in such beautiful surroundings and leave Tree Tops feeling recharged and rejuvenated! What a delightful cottage - so very comfy and cosy....loved every minute' Terry and Margaret, June 2016. 'Charming cottage in idyllic setting. Very well equipped and comfortable. Have enjoyed the rabbits in the garden, and a pheasant came calling too. Had an early morning call, usually at about 5.45, from a crow who thought it was a good idea to "knock" on the bedroom window! This is my first time in Cornwall and there is lots to do and see from here and even the narrow lanes were not an issue after a day or so. Would definitely recommend Tree Tops for a relaxing break'. Sue, Vi, and Alan. May 2016. Tree Tops has a magic all of its own - once seen always remembered. We have shared it for a few days and loved every minute. If you know of a better holiday let, you are fortunate indeed'. Sue and Colin, September 2016 Every single rating Tree Tops gets give sit 5 starts for location.
Port Navas is a beautiful village up a creek on The Helford River. The river is one of the most stunning places in Great Britain. You can hire boats at Helford Passage and take the ferry to Helford Village. The Lizard Peninsular, with its coves and coastal paths, beaches and cream teas is very close by. There are some great pubs a short drive (or taxi ride as the wine lists are excellent) away.
  • What a fantastic spot with really friendly neighbours! The house is basic, but the location is fabulous, and we loved every minute of our stay at Tree Tops. We would love to come back.

    Leon2016-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • "Tree Tops" is a beautiful secluded home in its own grounds in a riverside-village which is also very beautiful and well off the beaten track. The neighbours are very friendly. You could not wish for a better location for a quiet family holiday. You must have a car, however! The immediate area is full of interest with the Gweek Seal Sanctuary nearby and the beautiful Helford Village accessible by a ferry across the river. We strongly recommend the local pub - the "Trengilly Wartha Inn" (its on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps), where the food and drinks are great and they have a local folk music group entertaining on Sundays and Wednesdays.

    Peter2017-05-28T00:00:00Z

  • V cool family no frills house in amazing location. Comfortable, safe and kid friendly. Great views of Port Navas

  • A lovely place in a lovely place.

    S 2017-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • "Tree Tops" is in a beautiful location and has a super back garden which would be ideal for children to play in, or for eating outside... if only the weather were nice enough! The drive is not for the faint of heart or the large of vehicle but it's worth the climb and the terror. The house is cosy, comfortable and well equipped in a pleasantly basic way. The only negative was the "shower" - an attachment in the bath, with no option standing. This was hard on my fellow traveler's dodgy knees and might be a problem for some, but for me it kind of added to the "back to a simpler time" charm. I'd go back ANY time!

    Janet2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the peaceful location and the house was as described with gorgeous views of the estuary and village. Locally there are many and varied walks and beaches to visit, not to mention trips to Falmouth or St Ives. Treetops would be a great place for dog owners and families with small children, with the huge lawn to play in.

    Clare2016-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • A hidden gem in the most beautiful part of cornwall. We feel lucky to have been there for our family holiday. Cottage is basic in terms of amenities but totally adequate and complex comfortable for a family of four and a dog. Garden location and views are stunning and more than make up for the lack of mod cons - the only thing that would make a big improvement would be a decent shower, but this is a minor gripe for such a wonderful place. Our two boys (aged 8 and 10) did a sailing course on the Helford River nearby (which they loved) and other highlights were dinner at Port Navas Yacht club, walk around Trebah Gardens, lunch at The Ferry Boat Inn, not to mention sunset drink in the garden at treetops cottage!

  • What a fantastic place to stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location can be challenging, so do as Gary suggests, ignore your Sat Nav and follow his instructions! The surrounding are wonderful, peaceful, near beaches and pubs and great for the dog. Charlie Dog met Monza who us the most chilled out pooch in the world. The property and grounds are Dog Safe and so we could let Charlie run around and practise recall in the meadow. Perfect!

  • This was a lovely self catering property in the beautiful Cornish countryside. The garden and meadow were open and safe for the dogs to run around in. It was in a super position to explore the beaches of this gorgeous area of the country. The cottage was compact but had every thing you could need for a comfortable holiday.

  • Lovely hosts, the cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. They made us feel very welcome for the entire week. Very cosy and very clean. Our only problem was we paid more to use the hot tub, but upon arrival the host informed us it wasn't working. Another couple who arrived about the same time as we did informed me they had received an email notifying them about the hot tub but we did not receive anything. It was clear the hot tub hadn't been used for quite some time as the grass surrounding it was long.

  • A couple of days prior to the trip I received a lovely mail from Charlotte wishing us all the best for our holiday. A very nice personal touch. Upon arrival at the property we were delighted to see that the house was just as beautiful as the photos. The village was lovely and we enjoyed being within easy travelling distance of all the sights we were intested in. We had been furnished with lots of practical details for the area professionally laid out in an information sheet which we were sent by e-mail. Upon arrival we found a booklet with information, maps and leaflets showing attractions that might be of interest which were of great help. We were two families with teenage daughters, the property provided everyone with space to socialise and a room if you wanted to some privacy. We loved the kitchen and had a couple of nights in eating locally caught fish and lobster. The Prince of Wales pub a short walk served amazing food and were were always made to feel very welcome. We ate breakfast in the garden on sunny mornings whilst listening to the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)ing of the birds. Every day it was a delight to return to the cottage after our trips to the beach or sightseeing. A truly beautiful home and wonderful countryside. I could wax lyrical about this wonderful holiday home, it’s a little pearl just waiting to be discovered. We have taken home some wonderful memories.

The accomodation comprises, a twin bedroom with en suite. A small, low mezzanine, much like a den, has a single bed and is suitable for a child of 9 years+. Also available is a single put-you-up bed and the sofa can become a bed. The main room comprises of: a well equipped kitchenette with an electric hob and oven, a microwave and a fridge, a seating area and a dining area. We have our own chickens so fresh eggs are available to buy daily. On a cool evening you can gather around the wood-burning stove, with plenty of wood freely available. The annex has a laundry cupboard with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Ample parking and outside seating. Small TV and wifi. Situated in a very beautiful and quiet area on the edge of Port Navas, Constantine, Cornwall, only 8 mins walk from the Helford River estuary, it is an ideal place to 'get away from it all', yet we are only 15 mins drive from an Asda store and 20 mins from Falmouth and Helston. • Beautiful barn conversion in a very rural location. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Could easily have added a third person. Most welcoming; an upmarket "welcome pack". Though a few miles from any towns is fairly central and well placed for visiting the different areas of Cornwall

Our house is a converted chapel which is situated in the heart of the Lizard Peninsula, it is no further than 8 miles from the coast in any direction so very convenient for walking the coast path. Please note we are not on a bus route, therefore own transport is essential. The room can either be a Double or easily converted to accommodate 2 singles. We only have the one room which is located on the ground floor with its own private shower room. We live upstairs, (But Granny has her own self contained annex independently downstairs). Guests have their own tea making facilities outside their room. Our conservatory is very comfortable for reading or just lounging around in. We have a lovely garden with a summer house and a paddock. We are around a lot of the time and have numerous maps and guides which we will happily share with our walking guests. We know most of the best local walking routes so can guide you on your way. Breakfast is a low key affair with a variety of cereals to choose from. Toast, marmalade/jams, orange juice yoghurts etc are always available. We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty in a very rural hamlet of just a few houses, (we are half a mile from this). It is very peaceful on a very small country road although we are only 8 miles from the Market town of Helston. The Lizard is bursting with small coves and secret beaches to explore. Kynance Cove, Coverack, Mullion, The Helford Creek, Gillan and many more just a stones throw away. Parking is on our drive. We are a little off the beaten track so the nearest public transport is a bus route from Helston to St Keverne. Nearest international airport is Exeter, but trains run to Truro or Penzance.

We chose to visit Cornwall on the two worst weather days this summer, and couldn't appreciate the lovely views from the house until the day we left. Would certainly recommend staying here.

Caervallack Garden Cottage is a beautiful two person house set amongst a 3/4 acre walled garden .The Cottage and its landscape are ancient, with 13 different beaches nearby and fantastic walking .Sorry we don't accept pets.
We've made a real effort to create a beautiful place using traditional building materials , cob, oak & lime plaster with modern elements. The atmosphere is very nuturing and restive, which visitors from Airbnb seem to really appreciate. The bed is very comfortable and has sheets with very high thread count; the ensuite shower room is very modern with Italian designer sinks and ceramic tiles and a unique keyhole window.
The parish of St.Martin in Meneage (means 'monks land") is a particularly wooded part of the profoundly varied County of Cornwall. Visitors rave about its beauty and diversity, and the feeling it engenders in people to relax and re-centre. We love it too !
  • We were welcomed at the door and shown in to the beautiful cottage. Coffee, Tea, milk, sugar, juice, croissants and a bottle of Prosseco were left for us to enjoy. The neighborhood was very quiet with pubs and a wonderful village shop nearby.

  • Matt and Louise's place was lovely and peaceful. My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend on the Lizard peninsula and this is an ideal location from which to get all around this stunning corner of England! Besides the location, the cottage is wonderfully romantic, the gardens are beautifully put together and the sun hits the breakfast table nicely in the mornings.. This place comes highly recommended.

  • We loved this cottage!! Very cosy and tastefully decorated with a really comfortable bed too. Not to mention the huge really beautiful (and indeed romantic) garden that I would have spent much more time in had we not only had two days to make the most of all the beautiful towns nearby. Matt was welcoming and friendly and helpful, and we simply had the best time. Would definitely go back next time I make it to Cornwall!

The generous and creative hosts have paid attention to every detail to ensure the comfort of their guests and it was always a pleasure to return to the cottage after exploring the creeks and valleys of the Helford river or the coastal paths of the Lizard peninsula and beyond. We had no complaints and certainly hope to return again. Definitely recommended!

  • Beautifully presented little cottage in a lovely peaceful spot. Matt and Louise are thoughtful and welcoming hosts. The cottage has much charm and style. Number one priority for us is always a comfy bed and this was no disappointment and so a good night's sleep is a guarantee. The location is great for exploring the Lizard peninsula. Perfect peace and quiet here and the garden is quite wonderful. Would recommend for a yoga retreat or simply an escape to the country away from the stresses of everyday working week.

Comfortable, light airy modern accommodation recently refurbished with its own private garden in heart of village. The property is situated in Mawnan Smith, with shops, cafe, thatched pub and restaurant. Within easy traveling distance of Falmouth town, Helford River, many beautiful beaches, the university and a variety of local attractions including gardens, golf courses and the South West coastal path. Perfectly located for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
  • The cottage is beautifully presented with everything you could want. It's in a village with a pub and restaurant. Walking distance to beautiful gardens. Peaceful rural location.

  • A fantastic spot in Cornwall and a beautiful bungalow! We loved our stay and won't hesitate to rebook. Mark and Jayne are excellent hosts and the Bungalow has every thing you could possibly need for a gorgeous break plus more! We can't wait to come back!

  • Thank you to Mark and Jayne for being so lovely and even gave us lifts to and from The Ferry Boat Inn so we could enjoy a few drinks on our last night. The cottage is very clean, beautifully presented and perfect for a weeks getaway, with everything in reachable distance. We got to see the Eden Project, St. Micheal's Mount, Land's End, Minnack Theatre, Holywell Bay and explore Falmouth and it's local beaches. Highly recommend this airbnb! x

  • We loved staying here and hope to come back some time. The Appartement is very comfortable and spacious, we stayed with four people and had everything we needed, also in the kitchen when cooking dinner. The village is nice, with a pub, a restaurant, cafe and little shop just down the road. We also enjoyed walking to the river and along the coastal walk, did not even need to drive there! Falmouth is also recommended, really nice town with great shops, cafes and pasty places. Thanks and see you again!

My place is close to great views. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, the people, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
Just yards from the beach in this tranquil, quintessential Cornish fishing village, an enchanting detached stone studio. Close to beautiful coastal walks leading around the Lizard peninsula and along the shoreline of the Helford River. Full of character with a mezzanine double bed area enjoying glimpses of the sea, kitchenette, living area and a shower/utility room, packing everything one would need into a perfectly formed space. Ideally located with a tranquil part of Cornwall yet close proximity to the Helford River, Helston, Lizard Peninsula. Nearby attractions include Goonhilly, Trelowarren, Roskilly's and local diving at Polkerris. Great for short or long breaks away from the city. Ideal for those who want quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of work and traffic noise. From the Cornish meaning 'port at the end of the moor', Porthallow's history has always been inextricably linked with the sea. A former thriving Pilchard port, small fishing boats are still hauled onto the beach to this day. A number of buildings in the village also exhibit tell tale signs of the industry, if a little less obvious to the casual observer - The Association's Institute building is sighted over a former pilchard cellar! Set in the heart of the small fishing village of Porthallow with the beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The South West Coast Path is just 50 metres from the studio, offering excellent coastal views across Falmouth Bay to St. Anthony's Head, and a beautiful walk to Gillan Creek and the Helford River. Porthallow beach is used by local fishermen, and it is possible to drive onto the beach to launch canoes and dinghies. The local pub, The Five Pilchards, offers a warm welcome to visitors and there is a craft shop with locally made pottery. The village shops in St Keverne, just a couple of miles away, offer comprehensive supplies. The local wildlife is abundant, with buzzards circling over the valley and seals occasionally visiting the bay. The Old Stable is in probably one of the most peaceful spots in Cornwall, and offers the opportunity for a truly relaxing holiday by the sea.
  • James' place is exactly like the pictures and just as cosy and wonderful! We had a great stay at the Old Stable, and thoroughly enjoyed it there. You're right on the coast, with a pebbly beach a few seconds away. With a car, you can access a whole load of great places too. Shower is lovely and warm. Bed is super cosy (watch your head though!) Exactly like the photos And it's all really clean and tidy! The space is very small though. We loved that - everything was compact and there was just enough space for the two of us! But it really works. The only thing to note is that you have to move the stairs to access all of the kitchen area! Which could be difficult if you're not very strong. It's on wheels though, so that makes it a lot easier to move about :) All in all, a brilliant stay! 10/10, would recommend!

  • The Old stable is the perfect getway for a couple. The quiet village of porthallow has a beautiful pebble beach that is ideal for swimming and paddle boarding. The Stable itself is equipped with everything for a comfortable stay and checking in is a simple process. Would definitely recommend! I hope to visit again in the future.

  • The old stable is a very thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated tiny home. We really enjoyed our stay. Porthallow is a nice little village, the people were very friendly and the streets going there are an adventure! The Lizard and Cornwall itself is a beautiful country, the perfect place to get away from stressy everyday life.

  • An amazing small space with a brilliant costal path with lovely views out to sea. Highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle. Do stock up on supplies thou as the nearest Tesco is a 20 minute drive. I highly recommend this small space!!!

  • Loved staying here mainly because it was close to the beach and a great pub! We had fun staying in the quirky old stable! Very well designed to fit everything in! Caused lots of laughter!

    Sally2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is absolutely wonderful. Don't get me wrong it is quite small but they have designed the space so very well to include all the amenities and fit everything in. There is no oven or hob but there is a great little cooker and fridge. All you need really. The place was beautifully clean and comfortable, the little mezzanine meant that we could lie and listen to the waves coming up from the cove. It was really a wonderful trip and excellent value for money.
