  • Jennifer has a lovely home that makes you feel right on the farm ;) such lovely interior design, modern style kitchen. perfect with or without kids. she had a crib available for us and made appropriate recommendations for us for our time there. it is a short drive from sheboygan, about 25min drive to Elkhart Lake (where I was attending a conference), and close to several state parks. Love your showers! Thank you for a nice several days in your home.

    Serafina2016-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay in Jennifer's beautiful, newly remodeled home. Everything was just as described and Jennifer was available to help us as needed throughout the weekend, even proactively reached out to check in. If we plan another visit to that area, we would certainly request to stay there again.

  • Jeane was a friendly and considerate hostess! We stayed one night on our way from Green Bay to Milwaukee. We felt very comfortable in the bedrooms as well as the common areas of the house, including a screened in porch. After getting us oriented in the house as well as the town, Jeane went to her apartment-like space in the basement. We truly enjoyed our stay!

    Kathleen2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jeanne is a great host and offers a beautiful home and convenient location for anyone wanting to be in the Manitowoc area. Cleanliness and friendliness are important to us as guests and this host and home exceeded our expectations. The room we stayed in was lovely and we were offered access to much of the house. Our stay was short, but we look forward to returning.

  • Comfortable surroundings both in the home and out. Quiet neighborhood, great beaches nearby and the Jeanne gave great resources. I will definitely be back

  • Jeanne was great, solid, clean, quiet, comfortable home. Thanks

    Dale2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a second visit at Jeanne's elegantly appointed, yet cozy home and again felt like we were being welcomed "home" by a dear friend. She is a gracious host who balances friendliness, tips for the area, and interest in her guests with understanding that they also may want to relax and enjoy their privacy at her backyard table, cozy screened in porch, or spacious house. Love the accommodations, location, and hospitality (and chocolate ) and will be back regularly!

    Wendy2017-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at Jeanne's and everything was as great as the first. Jeanne had to be away but managed to execute the logistics of our stay seamlessly.

Our cozy little home is the perfect getaway location, JUST ONE block (250 ft) from Lake Michigan; a short 2 minute stroll. The entire home was freshly painted Summer 2017, and brand new flooring was installed in every bedroom. Our backyard is a perfect, private hangout area with patio table & yard games. Kick back and relax! Only 40 minutes to Lambeau Field. Book Now Instantly or shoot me a message if you have any questions!
1,100 sq ft home built in the early 1900's, newly "flipped" to a fresh modern home away from home. When you walk through the front door you will be in the living room. Through the living room is the kitchen. To the left of the kitchen is the first bedroom (twin bed). Up the stairs (12 stairs) are two small bedrooms (queen bed & twin bed). The upstairs ceilings are lower as it is an older home, (not for me, only my 6' 2" husband :) ) . The bathroom is located on the main level behind the kitchen. it has a stand up shower/tub, toilet and sink - All work perfectly; just small. The inside of the house is getting flipped before the outside (So please don't judge the book by its cover ;) . The outside of the house is light brown, with brand new roof and newer windows. Our driveway can easily fit 2 cars. The best part of our little cottage is... if you step right outside the back fence gate, you can see Neshotah beach from our sidewalk, literally 250 ft down the road! Also in walking distance (.5 mile) is historic downtown Two Rivers, pubs, restaurants, tourist shops etc. We have a "home manual" with fun ideas for the area here at the home!
Quiet, nice neighbors who keep to themselves.
  • Nice place very close to the beach, perfect place for a quiet get away.

    Alex2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great first experience with Airbnb! Annie and Joe's place is in a wonderful location and very reasonably priced. They've done a good job refurbishing an older home, and we hope to return and see what else they do. It was very easy to check in and communicate with them, which made our stay stress-free. We especially enjoyed being so close to Lake Michigan for sunrise walks and evening strolls, and for listening to the stormy surf. (which we loved, being originally from the eastcoast and missing the ocean) The house is centrally located for day trips to Door County, Kohler Andrae State Park, Lake Winnebago, etc.

    Lisa2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Annie and Joe's. It is really 2 minutes from the beach - lovely views and walks in the neighborhood. The location makes it easy to take day trips up to Door County and the local area is also very worth exploring. Great bike ride on Mariner's trail. We found the bed comfortable (memory foam, on the firm side). Be aware that the master bedroom (with the queen size bed) is on the second floor - and there are a few steps to enter the home too. Bathroom is on the first floor so a bit of going up and downstairs. The kitchen has the basics - might want to bring some of your own things if you are particular about knives, etc, but the basics are there! Well-stocked with towels. Annie was very helpful and communicative throughout our stay - we had no issues with checking in and out. Great place for the price and the location. It was a pleasure to be the first guests in this lovely cottage and we would definitely stay again.

    Elizabeth2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home in a fantastic location. Just 2 blocks to the beach, close to town and trails for bike riding. It's close enough to hear the sound of Lake Michigan waves through open windows. Listing was accurate, great value. The owners were quick to respond to questions which is always appreciated.

  • I booked Annie & Joe's beach house for a little getaway for my parents. They really enjoyed their stay, walks on the nearby beach and visits to a nearby park. The house is charming and well kept. Annie was prompt in all communications and check in was a breeze. Definitely recommended!

  • Very kind & helpful hosts. Old home, but clean as possible & nice, safe neighborhood.

    Lisa2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of our best trips yet! The location was great, so close to the beach! It's an old house, but they are doing a great job at renovating it! I'm sure we will be back sometime in the future so I can't wait to see what else they do with it!

Our home was built in 1857, a Historical Vertical Log Cabin. My husband and I rolled up our sleeves and spent many years renovated it ourselves, to expose the hand hewed trees that stand side by side. Tied in and joined by three rows of horizontal trees at three separate levels. Each tree runs from the foundation all the way to the peek of the roof. I can only use my imagination to see the first Scandinavian settlers hand sawing the trees down, big work horses pulling the timbers to this site. Hand axe chopping all the trees to make them flat. Then the horses pulling each beam upright for the, hard working, settlers to put them in place. Truly amazing the craftsmanship and beauty of this home. Jon and I had our carpenter, friend Pete, add on the Suite in 2011. That way we could share the beauty and tranquility of this unique property with others. My Mom Katie being the first to live here. We Offer a Donations Only Pub, "Fieldstone Gathering", only open at your request. My husband Jon and our friend, Dennis put hard work and love into chipping out all the stucco mortar and re-tucking the stones, bringing its natural beauty to life. • In decades of traveling, we have never met hosts with such warmth, genuineness, attention to detail and a true sense that we are the most important people in the work to them during our stay. We went there for our 10th anniversary and they took care of so many extra little things to help us feel at home. They gave privacy when we needed it, and were so warm in interaction that we felt like family. STAY HERE!!

  • Cheryl and her husband were such friendly hosts. Their dog and their cat are also friendly but I think they make an effort to keep them close to them as to not bother guests but I enjoyed them. They provided a lot of helpful options for eating, drinking, or touristy type of activities. The property is quiet and beautiful with lots of trees, tasteful lawn ornaments, bird feeders, and games to play (like bags). It was great for my husband and I to catch up on some reading. The suite we stayed in was very clean and functional for what we needed (staying in town for a wedding). She provided snacks like popcorn, cereal, orange juice, yogurt, bananas, bread for toast, etc which was a first for AirBnBs that I have been to in the past. They came in handy though considering the closest grocery store is at least 15-20 mins away. I would recommend this place to anyone!

    Kaiti2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl, Jon and Christine were the perfect hosts offering the most wonderful accommodation. We were greeted with fresh flowers and fruit, bottled water, Starbucks coffee, orange juice, and even soy milk (I had told Cheryl that we were vegan). WiFi, plenty of TV choices, an amazingly comfy bed, a BBQ, a pool, a corn hole game and even sidewalk chalk for the kiddoes were available. A sweet dog, Roxie, and an adorable kitten also graced the property. We were free to be on our own or to join the hosts for an hour or two...which we did and which felt like a time with old friends. Cheryl's recommendations about nearby attractions were spot on--and the purveyor of $2 Sunday Bloody Mary's (WITH horseradish) knew immediately who sent us! Next time we won't stop here for an event at Road America (and for this it was PERFECT!) but instead to spend a night or two relaxing in this beautiful place in this glorious countryside. Ten stars; five thumbs up! Thanx Saunders!

    liz2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was incredibly wonderful. We were looking to get away for a long weekend to enjoy some peace and quiet, and that is exactly what we got. The location was quiet and very beautiful. While there was not much in the immediate area, just twenty minutes away there were plenty of places to get delicious food. As for the suite, everything was perfect- it was very clean, had a tv with a Blu-ray player and Netflix, and there was A/C and heat. Anything we might have needed was provided, such as toiletries, dishes, utensils, pillows, blankets, etc. And the handsoap smelled so amazing that I ended up finding some online (it was from England- Pecksniff's Orange and Cinnamon). We really enjoyed our stay here, and have recommended it to some of our friends who are looking to similar "peace and quiet" trip.

    Andrew2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! Its perfect for a little getaway. It was an absolutely beautiful suite; both clean and comfortable. Cheryl and John were wonderful and welcoming hosts. They gave us DVDs to watch at night and brought firewood outside for us to use in their fire pit. It is in a quiet area and only a 15 minute drive away from restaurants and shops. We both highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway!

    Samantha2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Good friendly and accommodating hosts and a lovely secluded place to stay that feels like a home away from home.

    Trey2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl's place was fantastic! They were very friendly and had a lot of things to accommodate guests. This would be a great place for small to medium groups.

    Alex2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl, John and Roxie (their sweet dog) were beyond accommodating. Their home was both peaceful and beautiful and their thoughtful touches through-out were much appreciated. They prepared the suite with complete attention to detail including basic toiletries, english muffins, milk, cereal, cheese, water and a few other goodies which made our stay very comfortable. Thank you Cheryl and John for your kindness and hospitality!

My place is close to the shores of Lake Michigan. Just a little more than an hour drive from beautiful Door County. You’ll love my place because of the old fashion charm of the farmhouse. Many original fixtures and beautiful warm woodwork give the house old fashioned beauty. The friendly sheep will welcome. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). This home is a vacation in and of itself, you will truly enjoy!
This Farmhouse has been loved by our family for the past 30 years. It feels like home the moment you enter. Whether you are an adult or a child you will love your stay at our farm.
Our neighbor is the beautiful Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Lake Michigan. You feel like you are deep in rural Wisconsin, however you are minutes from beautiful Lake Michigan and downtown Manitowoc. Bring your entire family to enjoy a true family farm experience. Everyday on the farm proves to be a unique adventure! Come visit Manitowoc on your way to beautiful Door County. How about a Packer Game at wonderful Lambeau Field or a Brewer Game in Milwaukee for s little extra fun..... There is always something going on at the farm no matter what the season! SPRING is lambing season, summer is perfect for outdoor and beach play, Fall is awesome because of the colors and hikes in the nature center, pumpkins and corn harvest time. WINTER is beautiful - enjoy cross country skiing, ice skating, evenings by the cozy fireplace, hot cider, play the beautiful upright piano. And always animals all year around!
  • My 14 friends and I gathered at Laurel's lovely home for a truly unforgettable stay. Laurel was very responsive both before and during our trip, and even dropped off a few extra amenities for us during our three day stay at the farm. Highly recommend this lovely old farmhouse for group gatherings - it's secluded enough for you to have privacy but close enough to commerce for you to grab groceries, etc!

    Mary2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Laurel was amazing, I cannot speak highly enough of her hospitality. Check in was a breeze, and upon arrival the farmhouse greets you with it's unrelenting charm. Our taxi fell through to GREEN BAY, and Laurel offered to help out. Hands down, the best host, of any AirBnB I've ever stayed at! My only complaint? I wish we would've been able to stay longer!

    Kevin2016-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you want lots of space in an idyllic setting, this farmhouse is for you. With large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a roomy kitchen and living area we were able to accommodate our extended family for a weekend of fun. The huge yard has a volleyball court, basketball hoop and fire pit. The pen of sheep and the farmyard cats offered additional entertainment for the children in our group. Both house and yard are well maintained. Laurel was attentive and communicated well during the entire rental process. We plan to return next year!

    BlueViolet572016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was prefect for my 30th birthday weekend. Laurel was a perfect host, the animals were great entertainment, and the house had a lot of character. Thanks!

    Erik2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying at Laurel's farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! Plenty of beds and rooms for us to spread out and find our own areas. We cooked a big meal one night, played games each night and had a few fires outside that were so lovely! Laurel had us set up with plenty of firewood! She is always available if you have questions or needs. We love that we can bring our dogs here and it truly feels like home. The farm is 1/2 mile from the lake, we take walks and runs to the lake every morning! Don't miss out on The Washington House for ice cream! This time we checked out the Art Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo and of course checked out the lighthouse in Two Rivers. Another year in the books! Thanks so much Laurel!! :)

    Sarah2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very large farmhouse. But truly a 'farm house'. Not a lot of new amenities. But nice experience for children. Needs a little TLC and updating. Glad it was only a long weekend. Laurel is very hospitable.

    Gloria2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • This farmhouse is charming and rustic. The house is large enough for our group to gather around the kitchen table and enjoy a board game and some laughs. Laurel was a great host. She and her family stopped in to greet us and ask if we needed anything. She is very personable and caring.

Renting my downstairs duplex unit in the heart of Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Located a short 45 minute drive from Lambeau Field in Green Bay and a few blocks away from Neshotah Beach. Many other attractions nearby. For now there is no Wi-Fi or Cable TV service.
2 elegant and cozy bedrooms, with lots of natural light and storage space. Brand new bathroom and new laminate wood flooring. Nicely stocked kitchen with brand new refrigerator and gas stove with oven. New microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There are dishes, silverware, pots and pans available too. Small living room, with LCD TV and DVD Blu Ray player, vintage décor. Brand new AC unit.
  • This house served as our home-away-from-home for a friend's wedding weekend. Everything in the photos is incredibly accurate to what you'll find in the unit. To get to the bathroom, you need to go through one of the bedrooms, which we couldn't tell in the photos, but it wasn't a big deal for us. It was nice being able to have a private unit with two bedrooms and a full kitchen (stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed plus basic cooking ingredients like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc). We are happy that Alberto and Rigoberto are good communicators, as we did have a few issues that I would be remiss in not mentioning: First, there wasn't a key waiting inside for us to use as we told there would be, so we were then advised to use the lock box key for the weekend - not a big deal, just different from their original instructions. Second I discovered late at night that the beds weren't made fully, making the first night a bit uncomfortable. There were no additional clean sheets in my bedroom to fix, just a pile of dirty linens in the closet. The other bedroom did have clean sheets in a dresser, but my friend was already asleep so I didn't know until the next day. I grabbed blankets from my car to be able to sleep more comfortably the first night. Third, I came to find out that my friend was actually trapped in her room all night because the door was stuck badly (probably because of humidity + old house) - so she was only able to get out once I hit the top of the door really hard the next morning. Glad there was more than one person in the unit to do be able to get her out, and that there were no emergencies (she was not in the bedroom with the bathroom attached). Fourth, the maintenance/cleaning couple stopped by Saturday morning to bring brand new store-bought sheets and get the dirty pile of linens in the closet. The owners (who live in Miami) did message about them coming about 20 minutes in advance, but I didn't see the message until after they got there. Since we were renting a full unit to ourselves, we weren't expecting other people to be in the space (all of our stuff was laying out getting ready for the wedding, etc). We're glad they didn't let themselves in without us being there - but I think they would have, which was also a bit uncomfortable. Lastly - just note that this is a lower unit of a duplex with an upstairs neighbor, and it's in a residential neighborhood with a local bar not too far around the corner. It's not a sound-proof building, so you can hear what's going on upstairs (walking, rolling chairs, animals, cell phone noises/vibrations), and any loud activity in the street (in our case, two men yelling after midnight one night). Light sleepers:...

  • Cozy, clean apartment in a two story older home. Residential area near restaurants. Not far from Lake Michigan.

    paula2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I made a quick getaway for a week and this home was perfect for exploring lots of Wisconsin! The beach and views of Lake Michigan were breathtaking. We did winery tours, Brewery hopping, 100 miles of cycling on really great cycling trails, hiking, and more (including running a local 5K - a brew run). We made easy day trip to places in Door County (a hidden Hawaii), spent a day in Green Bay and enjoyed a Wisconsin Supper club, had lots of good cheese, and loved the home-touch of Alberto's place. He went well above and beyond to add nice, home touches (candles). We were able to fit in a message and loved the food at Courthouse Pub just six miles away. Enjoy!

    Mary2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice little place to stay for much less than a hotel. Furnishings were nice, place was nice and clean. Bathroom and floors were recently updated and it showed - very nice. One point to share, though, was that to enter the bathroom, you have to go through one of the bedrooms. We were fine with it, but something to consider depending on your personal privacy levels.

My small upper duplex unit is available for a great stay in a great small Wisconsin city. It's has everything you need to relax and enjoy some time away. Two Rivers is about a 40 minuet drive from Green Bay, an hour from Appleton, and an hour and a half from Milwaukee. Also an hour drive from door county if you decide to explore up there. New carpeting and WiFi included with a TV with a Dvd player. No cable though sorry.
Small 1 bed room upper duplex apartment. Has a full kitchen with dishes and a living room with a tv and DVD player. There is also a small full bathroom with shower and bath tub. I have recently put in New carpeting in the place and it has really made the place a very nice value stay
Very quite neighborhood. Mostly older retired couples and a few small families. The town is very quite and safe. I have never had a problem with anybody in the neighborhood and none of the neighbors have a problem with the apartment being an Air bnb
  • We came to town just looking for a place to sleep, since we would be outside along the coastline the majority of the day. Josiah's rental was easy to find and Johnathan, who lived downstairs, was waiting for us when we arrived. Location is great, just 1.5 blocks from the coastline and easy access to Two Rivers and Manitowoc. Will definately be back.

    Elissa2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Josiah was very warm and welcoming. He provided a lot of information about the area and helped us have a wonderful experience at our first Packers game. He made sure to see us off when we left at 3am! Thanks, Josiah!

  • Josiah is a wonderful host. Very responsive and attentive. The space was perfect for my boyfriend and me. Great location to visit Door County and explore the state parks. Everything was clean and comfortable. Josiah and the space is highly recommended.

  • Very good comminication via e-mail. His lower level tenant took care of meeting us and direction us up the stairway to the little apartment. Neat and tidy, with the basics--clean towels, clean sheets on the bed. Small and compact, WI Fi worked well. An alternative to a noisy hotel, in a sweet neighborhood. Everyone was very laid back and accomodating. Very quiet.

  • Two rivers is a cozy little town, this apartment is fairly large for the price although a bit old. But that is quite okay considering the price. The host was quite reachable on phone and check-in and out was a breeze.

  • This was exactly what we were looking for, close to the water, clean, easy to find and spacious.

  • A simple upper floor on a duplex. Not fancy, but fairly clean. Think a college apartment. There is wifi, but no cable tv. Neighborhood seems quiet and safe. The door to the room doesn't have a deadbolt though.

Although we did not need assistance during our visit, it was nice to know the house's caretaker was just next door. Location was convenient to everything in the Two Rivers/Manitowoc area. • Rigoberto made sure our stay was easy and enjoyable. While we did not meet Rigoberto in person, he was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions and updates regarding our arrival, the accommodations, and our departure. His home is charming, felt like staying at our uncle's place. It was the right size for the three of us, as we each had our own comfortable supportive bed and private space. Quick, plentiful hot water in the showers. Nice well-stocked kitchen. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, within walking distance to our conference at Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum. We really enjoyed staying at his place, and would happily stay there again!

This 1880's cottage was originally a summer kitchen for the main house. It has been transformed into a relaxing retreat in a rural setting. Renovations in 1992-95 maintained the historic charm. Improvements in 2017 include modern amenities such as water softener, Culligan water filter system. A working 1930's cabinet radio is the stand for the HD TV with DirecTV service. 40% discount for stays over 30 days. Located 15 minutes from Kewaunee and 35 minutes from Green Bay.
The eastern bedroom contains an iron bed that's been in our family over 100 years, with the updated comfort of a memory foam mattress. The western bedroom has a kingTempurpedic memory foam mattress and features an 150 year old antique wardrobe. The unique characteristics include the old clawfoot tub, original pantry shelving in the kitchen and reproduction antique stove. We know you will enjoy the old country charm of this location.
Norman was settled in the mid-1800's by Bohemian immigrants. The Norman General Store provided supplies to the small farming community and was the local gathering spot until 1968. We hope to reopen the store in 2018.
  • Great place! The nature sounds and scenery are wonderful. It's quiet, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of rural Wisconsin. The cottage is adorable, like a walk back in time, but also with modern touches. Our hosts were amazing. Once can tell they care a lot about their home and land. I was even able to enjoy some gardening! Something I love, but don't get a chance to do in the city. This spot is unique. I highly recommend a stay.

  • Gary and his lovely wife, Denene, were lovely hosts. Their Historic Cottage was quaint and cozy. They thought of everything, right down to the popcorn containers and the to-go coffee cups. As I have slept on a waterbed for the past 30+ years, I never look forward to sleeping on a normal bed but the memory foam mattresses in the Historic Cottage were extremely comfortable. While I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful serenity of their off-the-beaten path location, it might not suit those who prefer the sounds of the city. I would definitely recommend Gary and Denene's Historic Cottage and will consider staying again if I get a chance to head back up that direction.

  • Quiet, clean little cottage with lots of history. Good for a relaxing weekend without 2 very young kids. It was our 10 year anniversary and we were surprised with a delicious cake. • Gary and Denene's Historic Cottage was such a treat! It was quitting quaint, but had all the modern amenities one could want. I especially loved sitting on the porch with a cup of tea overlooking the garden. We got to meet with Denene, and learn all about the history of the cottage. We will definitely be back, and hopefully the General Duties will be open by then!

  • We had such a great time staying at this house. Very clean and private. Christine was such a big help with the surrounding area and information on transportation and events happening around us. We will definitely book this again when we travel to Wisconsin.

  • Christine made us feel welcome right away with her personal telephone contact. We knew she looked forward to our arrival, and we did as well. Knowing we could anticipate a warm welcome after a long day of travel was very reassuring. The location was just as described. We recognized it from the highway even though Christine warned us that it was a very long driveway. We loved being in a remote country setting. Christine promptly answered our many questions as we prepared for our trip to Wisconsin. Her answers were most helpful. She was also very flexible in regard to different options we were considering. The apartment is spacious, has plenty of privacy should there be more than one or two guests, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and supplies. And, contrary to most bathrooms in hotels and motels, there were plenty of spaces for personal items. The location was perfect. Some of our plans were in the immediate area and some at a distance. We had no regrets concerning our location in relation to our interests in northeastern Wisconsin. The main benefit for us of staying in an Airbnb is close proximity to our destinations rather than a motel/hotel along the freeway in a big city. We would definitely stay there again. Leonard and Anne

  • I stayed here for a month and drove to Sheboygan every day for school/work. It's a super cute, decent sized basement apartment out in the country. It is very quiet and peaceful, it was nice to sit out on the patio to study. It is in a very small town but it's just a short drive to Green Bay. The host was very accommodating, I definitely recommend this place!

  • Chrissy was super nice and very helpful! She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. It's situated on a beautiful, quiet road. Wisconsin charm at its finest! We stayed on our way from Chicago to Green Bay for a Packers game. It was a very easy 30 minute drive into GB.

Rustic 150 year old log cabin on 7 acres of land provides peaceful solitude with modern amenities. Explore land and old Dutch barn, warm yourself by fire, or relax on porch. Located 20 min from Green Bay and Lambeau Field and 30 min from Door County. Wonderful peace and quiet on land teeming with wildlife. Dog paradise as plenty of room to run.
This was the original settler's cabin. It is 150 years old and you can still see the huge white pine beams within. It has a fully operable wood stove adequate to heat the whole place. New windows make the home cozy and warm no matter the weather. The home is on 7 acres of land with forests, wetlands, and a large 125 year old dutch barn to explore.
This is a rustic country home. There are less than a handful of other homes within half a mile and none closer than a quarter of a mile. The front balcony is surrounded by a lush ring of vegetation giving nearly total privacy when leaves are present. Easily commutable to Green Bay, Fox Valley, Manitowoc and Door County.
  • This cozy farm house was the perfect spot for our stay in Door County. Glen's instructions were very clear and helpful. We had no difficulty finding the house and immediately made ourselves at home. It was clean and stocked with hundreds of fantastic books. The fireplace kept us warm while we read in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with beans, pancake mix, peanut butter, and other essentials. Our dog loved exploring several paths in the backyard. I would highly recommend this house if you're looking for a place to get away.

  • Glen's house is a perfect escape from busy life! We came to celebrate a very busy year finishing graduate degrees and this was an ideal place to escape away! We were able to make home cooked meals, go on 10 mile country bike rides! It was wonderful! We do recommend (like other before us) to bring your own drinking water. The metal taste wasn't the worst, but didn't really enjoy it either. We couldn't find a corkscrew for wine -- that would have been helpful (so might want to bring your own). We didn't have any issues with mice. There were LOTS of ladybugs and some wasps around the house, but that's called life outside. So we didn't mind at all. Overall, great location and great communication with Glen. The house had board games, books, wifi that was fast enough to stream movies. No issues at all!

    Kate2016-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very clean and welcoming. We loved the quietness of the property and look forward to our next visit!

    Nicholas2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a pretty good place overall. It's more rustic than other places and it's more affordable for that reason. The place is in the middle of nowhere, so there's ton's of peace and quiet and great views of the night sky. Being able to bring your dogs is especially great. Plan well, though, because there's no shop right around the corner. That said, Denmark itself isn't too far away and Green Bay is within a 25-minute or so drive--Costco, Pick N Save, Farm Fleet, Home Depot, Menards, etc are all right together. Also, the place was well-stocked with non-perishable food. Not sure if that's a regular thing or we were just the recipients of the accumulation of these goods left by prior guests. Heed the "old farmhouse" smell comments from past guests and the host as well. If you're sensitive to smells, it might not be the place for you. We went at a time when it wasn't too hot (in early August even), but I'm not certain it would got overly warm in the house during really warm weather. There is a lot of tree cover, so keeping the windows shut might help keep the cool air in (windows are pretty new). There are also some fans in there. Just so it's clear to any potential guests, you should definitely not expect to be in any sort of luxury accommodations. It is most certainly an old farmhouse. The host is out-of-state, so he really does rely on his guests and his every-so-often cleaning crew that come after every third or fourth guest reservations. There were a few cleanliness issues that weren't dealbreakers, but you should know there is a chance the place will feel a little lived in, even beyond the fact that it is an old farmhouse. I won't provide any detail here in order to give the host the benefit of the doubt that it could be a random issue with the previous guests or a rare lapse in attention by the cleaners. The issues were relatively minor. The communication with the host is good overall but not ideal. I believe he means well and wants to protect his place while trying to insure his guests (incoming ones and future ones) have a good stay. You can glean some of his tone from the comments, which bore out in the only conversation we had during our stay. Again, I believe he meant well and we otherwise came to a quick amenable resolution to the matter at hand. Overall, the place is a great value for what you are getting, as long as you know what to expect going in.

    Maria Alice2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • The farmhouse was exactly as described and absolutely adorable. You can tell that it has been well-cared for over the years. The entire property is freshly renovated. I was here for a multi-day trip and it was perfect. I'll be coming back soon.

Our place has family-friendly activities, we have a indoor pickelball court on site, cottage comes with row boat, paddle boat, and canoe, pier, fire pit, lots of land to play games on, very private. Milwaukee airport is 70 minutes away.. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, located on WIlke lake (100 acres) public boat launchce. Aventurers, and families welcome(with kids).
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara's cabin. The cabin is so close to the lake. It was so fun to watch the water in all the different weather and times of day right from the kitchen table. The pullout couch and bedroom downstairs were comfortable. Upstairs there is a regular bed and also a bed with a thin mattress on springs (probably best for kids). The pull down stairs to the loft are rather steep so I'd say it's fine if you don't mind climbing a ladder. Barbara was a great hostess. She was available by phone or text and she was able to help us when we needed a couple things to borrow for the kitchen or house. The outside patio was also a nice place for meals. I highly recommend a stay here. It's a real vacation where one can rest and relax. Don't miss the cheese factory which is just down the road.

    Robert2017-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful place to stay. Perfect for a family getaway. Veronica was very communicative. The house was spacious and clean and exactly as described. Not really much to eat in the area that's good, really, as far as we were able to tell. Best bet is to buy from the grocery store 3 blocks away and cook. Her kitchen was clean and ready for basic meal preparation, so this was not an issue.

The house itself is roomy and well laid out. We had four adults in our group, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be staying here again.

  • We stayed at the Cate's place during our weekend getaway. It was surely located on a quiet and residential area, yet a walking distance from the town center, state parks and beaches. The house was comfy, and full of the host's personal touches. The host definitely puts lots efforts to make guests feeling like home, by providing not only the travel essentials, but also lots entertainment supplies such as grill and beach towels. Cate was very responsive to our communication, from the booking to check-out. She was friendly and super easy to work with. Overall, we had a lovely time at Cate's place.

  • Excellent place to stay. The communication and house was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

    kurt2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cate's Hammernick Guest Haus. The entire house was clean and very welcoming when we arrived. Cate was very kind as well as very attentive and prompt to our needs and questions. Extras touches like beach towels and blankets, beach toys, help-yourself-knitting-basket, games, etc reflected her attention to detail in setting up the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the front porch was a great place to relax with plenty of seating and side tables. We wanted to stay longer and surely look forward to returning.

  • One of the most charming and cozy places we've had a chance to stay at. Despite the old age of this impressively beautiful building, everything is kept in pristine condition. Every corner of the house, every well chosen detail, ornament and decoration shows this B&B has been long-term devoted dedication of the hospitable owners. We've been kindly greeted by Kay and encouraged to make ourselves home. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. We've been offered wine & cheese in the living room and had a chance to relax on the backyard, reading books. During the stay, the hosts made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was a true feast that kept us going for a long time. I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Two Rivers area.

  • Kay's B&B was absolutely charming. We were greeted with wine and cheese and had some great conversation to start the evening off. Kay gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and even had some menus for us to review prior to stepping out the door. Kay's breakfast was absolutely amazing! It was honestly the best French toast we have ever had. Everything was so delicious Kay is extremely talented in the kitchen! The location was within a couple of blocks of Lake Michigan. We hope to make it back sometime this summer to see how beautiful Two Rivers can be outside of the winter. Perfect visit! Thank you, Kay!

  • This peaceful and beautiful location gave our large family plenty of relaxation and fun. Don't miss the beach, the views, and the Pelican Air Force. Erika was easy to contact when a few glitches occurred (the water, the dishwasher, electricity outage in the Manitowoc area), and they were prompt in keeping us satisfied.

  • Great home base for a week long extended family trip. Plenty of sleeping space for 9 people (6 adults, 3 kids), nice bonus that each family had their own bathroom, plus the common areas were really nice. Spent a lot of time cooking in the kitchen and running around the huge lawn. The lake level is apparently unusually high this year so the private beach access was a bit hit or miss, but the public beach was a five minute drive away. We'd happily stay here again.

    Lindsay2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice view of the water, great kitchen, very well kept lawn with plenty of room for activities.

    Ben2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot for a big group. The lake was sandy and awesome for swimming and the yard was big & flat perfect for yard games and hanging around. Inside was very nice too but we spent most of our time outdoors

  • Awesome place, views are stunning. House is very comfortable and my family had lots of fun. There are some spiders on the deck and this will need some cleaning and maintenance. Other than this I highly recommend this place and will plan to visit again. Enjoy the stunning views!

  • One of the best Air-BnB experiences i've had yet! The hosts were really accommodating and relaxed. This house is almost throwing rocking distance from Whistling Straights Golf Course. We've made great use of their outdoor and indoor fireplaces, garage for our car and bbq for our cooking. The decor is decorated like a warm forest cabin and it has every facet needed for a comfortable stay. Highly Recommended!

  • It's a lovely and quiet cabin perfectly situated next to Whistling Straits on the coast of Lake Michigan. Scott was a very professional host- extremely attentive and swift in his responses and happy to accommodate our arrival and departure times. Thoughtful gesture of local beer for us was left in the fridge. It was a great fit for our four (4) guy golf trip. Thank you, Scott!

  • Kevin's place is so beautiful and serene! The house is cozy but spacious, beautiful kitchen for making your own meals on vacation, and decorated so well. It's about 5-10 minutes away from the beach and a grocery store which made the whole trip so easy. We all loved this house so much and will definitely be back! Thank you Kevin!!

    Sena2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • The house was exactly what we were looking for for our family vacation. It was spacious, homey, clean, and overall a very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed playing games and having dinners in the screened in porch, cooked together as a family in the large kitchen, and had a fire outside. The beach down the road was beautiful, and there is a lot to do within the area. Definitely would love to come back again!

  • The host and his fiance made us feel more than welcome and comfortable in their amazing accommodation! The pictures simply do not do this experience justice. The details and love put into this house and property made it a true oasis. My family (kids too!) are addicted to this place!

    Kara2015-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Two Rivers was great. Kevin was quick to respond and the place was well suited for three couples with enough room in the kitchen for us all to cook. The hot tub was ready to go and the trails in the state park were great. Kevin was also flexible in the checkout time, which was well appreciated.

    Jared2016-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin was an excellent host. He greeted us upon arrival and gave a quick tour of the cottage and amenities. He is a very knowledgeable tour guide of the area and gave great insight into recreational activities. The state park across the street had great bike trails and access to Lake Michigan. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy. The screened-in front entrance allowed for peaceful nature sounds and the firepit out back was a nice perk.

    Corey2015-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Even though we didn't meet Kevin in person, we could tell that he's a great host from the quality and thoughtfulness of the accommodations. From the hot tub to the hammock to the impeccably-arranged sheets and delightfully quirky décor, we felt at once transported and at home. Suffices to say that we could not recommend this place more!

    Dawn2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is as amazing as it looks online! It was perfect for our family vacation (me, my husband and two kids ages 4 and 2). We spent mornings at the beach, went for a few runs along the water and in the woods, cooked some meals in the kitchen and just had a wonderful time. The Hummingbird is clean and cozy with such amazing and stylish decor. The lanai outside was wonderful as we were able to be outside yet away from the bugs. I loved reading in the hammock! The beds were comfortable. The rooms each had their own personality and style. We felt like we were all alone in our little cottage and yet we were just 5-10 minutes away from the beach, groceries, and restaurants. We will be coming back and making the Hummingbird an annual tradition.

This cozy farm house offers a place for a family or group to stay during the 2015 PGA Championship. In beautiful rural Wisconsin, but just 34 minutes from Whistling Straits. 1K 1Q 3twin. Host family will be present but not intrusive.
  • This was our first time using this service, so we were a little nervous going in. We had an awesome experience. Allison, Martin, and Nick were very friendly. They gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home. The house is very close to the freeway and easy to locate. Rooms were as advertised and clean. House has a side entrance with direct access to the rooms upstairs, which was nice. They do have a fire pit, but we did not take advantage of it due to our schedule. There was coffee and muffins one of the mornings when we woke up. The location was perfect for attending the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits. It is also only 25 minutes outside of Green Bay, so this would work great if you were going to a game there. We hope to see the family again for the Ryder Cup in 2020.

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and Cindy made it an easy step into this new-to-us world. The house is in a newer subdivision but easy to find, and was conveniently situated for my weekend working at the Road America race track. It wasn't clear to me--though I was new to this an maybe overlooked it--that "our" bathroom would be on a different floor than the bedroom. Not a problem for us, but if that's a concern it would seem a point you could negotiate--there is a bathroom on the same floor as the bedroom, but it was for other guests in the other room. Otherwise, friendly, warm, communicative and a good breakfast. Cindy didn't even flinch much when I asked that it be served a half-hour earlier than seemed to be her norm, to accommodate our needs for the day.

    Kevin2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy was warm and a gracious host. I was in and out several times during my stay, and Cindy was great about my hectic schedule The bathroom was on the lower level, a few steps away from the bedroom. I did not see this as an issue. Her kitchen is large and easy to put together a meal at her place or take it to go. The neighborhood is quiet and a stroll in the morning or evening was a great way to get exercise. Conveniently located to Kohler and RoadAmerica track.

    Sara2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful experience staying with Cindy. Her home is exceptionally clean and well cared for. She was a pleasure to talk with and shared the many opportunities in the Sheboygan area. Of note is Elkhart Lake. What a treat and a real surprise to find such a beautiful resort town to spend our evenings in after hanging out in Kohler during the day for the PGA. We highly recommend staying at Cindy's home.
