Museum
“The Sherlock Holmes Museum is a privately run museum in London, England, dedicated to the famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. It is the world’s first museum dedicated to the literary character Sherlock Holmes. The best example of the living period costume I have come across! Absolutely everyone was in character! After giving the introduction, the butler was asked if Sherlock Holmes was real, and he kindly explained that the museum was there to help build the story. Brilliant experience and highly recommend!!”

Art Gallery
“Founded by the illegitimate son of the 4th Marquess of Hertford, who, on his death, left his mansion and collection to the nation, on the proviso that nothing was ever sold or lent out for an exhibition, so you can always bank on turning up and finding the Titian, Rembrandt and Velazquez paintings in situ. It’s also very strong on Sevres china, French furniture and armour and - this is very much an acquired taste - wax sculptures. The location is a winner too, being central, set back from Oxford Street and close to Selfridges. A delightful cafe draws in locals from tony Marylebone. ”

“Honey & Co and Honey & Smoke (are restaurants from former Ottolinghi staff). Middle Easter influence. Delicious, well priced, large servings. Suggest you order a few things and then add to your order rather than ordering everything upfront and ordering way too much. ”
