Route
“Legazpi Boulevard is one of the most picturesque seaside roads in the Philippines, with a spectacular view of the Mayon Volcano and the Kapuntukan hill to the north. The boulevard has also become a favorite recreation area for the city due to its fresh see breeze and excellent view. In the mornings, many Legazpeños troop to the boulevard to jog, run, bike and do exercises. At night, colorful streetlights make the boulevard a sight to behold. Lining the Boulevard are numerous bars and restaurants that offer drinks, food and videoke.”

“Bulusan Lake is sometimes referred to as the "Switzerland of the Orient" but that is an overstatement; there are no pine trees, alpine meadows nor blankets of snow here. But it is remarkably beautiful in a different way. Sitting at the foot of towering Mount Bulusan, it is surrounded by a lush tropical rainforest thickly endowed with flora and fauna. Its deep green emerald waters add a mystical sense of tranquility hardly equaled by any body of water we had previously seen. Here and there, rare, colorful species of startled kingfishers would dart from cover, zooming over the placid waters before disappearing into the thick green carpet of the surrounding rainforest. ”

Cave
“Its name comes from Bicol word "hoyop" which means to blow which aptly describes the cool, soft, murmuring winds that blow through its labyrinthine passageways. Aside from its interesting stalactite and stalagmite formations, the cave is also a site where 4,000 years old potteries, human bones, beadwork and artefacts were unearthed.”

“What used to be a small cafeteria in Tiwi, Albay is now a snack bar/food chain serving one of the best halo-halo treats in town - DJC. It includes boiled beans, gelatin, tapioca, sugar palm fruit, ube, corn, sweetened banana, leech flan, ice cream and shaved ice in it. DJC's halo-halo is your typical halo-halo with a twist - minus the beans and tapioca but topped with lots of grated cheese.”
