“Shakespeare Cliff lookout is within walking distance from Flaxmill via a hiking track (you can also drive up via the Lookout Road). At the top of the headland is the lookout itself with stunning views of Mercury Bay, Cooks Beach and historical plaques detailing the history of the area. Follow the Lookout Road back down towards Lonely Bay and, if you’re not afraid of coming back up a few steps, walk the steep track down to this beautiful, secluded shelly beach (there are no toilet facilities down there).”

“A fusion of Mediterranean, Italian and Greek flavours. Talk to Mary or Emmanuel and tell them we say hi! This is one of our favorites stops on the way through town. With their great section of food and drinks and extensive seating this is a great place to take large groups or the family. Ask for the Al Camino special pizza (Dave's favorite!) and I'm sure you will struggle to finish it! With a beautiful water front setting of the Mercury Bay this place is only 41 minutes drive from your accommodation. ”
