You will have plenty of opportunities to take pictures at many different panoramic viewpoints. We then explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a historic meeting place and trading site famous for its appearance in many Hollywood blockbusters. We’ll have time to visit the landmark and then enjoy lunch. After the break the tour continues on the road of 1000 Kasbahs to the ancient settlement of Ouarzazate . The town is Morocco’s Hollywood and moviemakers can regularly be found setting up shop in the sprawling desert crossroads with wide palm fringed boulevards. We arrive at our overnight accommodation in the Dades valley to enjoy a traditional Moroccan evening meal and breakfast. Day 2 (Dades Valley-Todgha Gorge-Erfoud-Merzouga) After breakfast we travel to Todgha Gorge an impressive canyon in the Eastern section of the High Atlas Mountains. Stroll through the oasis and enjoy a walk through the ruined villages and visit a handcraft association of Berber women. Learn from the locals and experience daily life in a typical Berber village. We then enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants. We continue the tour towards the big dunes of Merzouga and climb aboard a camel for an unforgettable ride at sunset toward Erg Chebbi and your evening camping accommodation in the desert. Enjoy the night with a traditional Berber dinner and serenades of music from local nomads under the stars. In the heart of the desert, among the dunes, you will be in the best place to admire a spectacular sky full of stars, as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Day 3 (Merzouga-Marrakech) An early wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the most memorable part of any visit to the Sahara, followed by breakfast in the bivouac of Merzouga. We then ride the camels back to meet our driver for the return journey to Marrakech. The tour includes 2 nights’ accommodation, breakfasts, evening meals & entertainment at the desert camp. Accommodation transfers are included and transport is by air-conditioned minivan. ”
