Art Museum
“Great museum that has an excellent collection of art. Very manageable in a few hours. And the building is super cool as well. A quick coffee in the front atrium is a treat. Or a glass of wine in the back entrance is a favorite of mine w/ out having to commit to an entrance fee. Lovely views of the lake. ”

“You MUST take a tour here, and pee before you start or you might wet your pants laughing. I recommend signing up online for a tour. Plan time to eat in the beer hall after your tour and use up your free beer tokens. Pro Tip: Order the cheese curds!”

“Lots of great food, souvenirs and fun good vibes. In the heart of the 3rd ward it is a destination or meet up spot of a drink and bit to eat. You can catch the Hop outside the South doors. ”

“All I can say is go and try as much as you can. The fish market is great, as is Anodyne coffee, but you really cant lose with any of the options.”

Science Museum
“The exhibits are extensive and there is a lot to learn all around. Aquarium was a marvelous sight, and one that I did not expect to see in a museum. From underwater tunnels to glass-bottom sea life viewing windows, it seems that they've spared no expense at building this place out. Plan to spend at least 3 hours. Incredible maker space, VR games, flight and driving simulators, robot tic tac toe, and do not forget the aquarium and water exhibits. We could have stayed much longer! Covered parking is available for $10 or so. Closes 4 pm during the week and 5 pm Saturday & Sunday. ”

“This beautiful movie palace is a historic Milwaukee landmark. With 3 screens, full service concessions and bar, and it’s ornate East Indian decor, the Oriental Theatre is consistently recognized as one of the top movie palaces in the country. Check www.mkefilm.org/oriental-theatre for current screenings. And for a bite to eat, visit the Crossroads Collective right next door.”
