“Another 5 minute walk gets you to this local Mexican favorite. Enjoy great tacos and other Mexican dishes, tequila, beer and more. Tuesdays and Thursday are crowded due to $2 tacos. If you have to wait for a table, you can head across the street to Fink’s for a cocktail, while you wait for the text that your table is ready.”

“Our local coffee chain with many locations (closest is just a few blocks on Humboldt which also is their roastery). They roast their own beans and own their own bakery suppling their shops with the freshest ingredients. Each location is exclusively unique from former garages to an old pumping station lakeside. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. $”

“Miss your family? Come on over to Cranky Al's. I took my daughter here every single day when she was in the stroller! Lot's of families on the weekends and other local people during the week. Friendly staff - they might introduce you to a kid or two or a baby if you want to hold one! All the doughnuts are great. My favourite is the cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and peanuts. Cranky also makes great pizza. ”
