Nightclub

“Established in 1991, this flagship London club has spawned a record label and countless multimedia outlets since then, but still remains a key destination for dedicated clubbers in the capital. Some of the world's biggest DJs regularly play here alongside up-and-coming acts in various rooms, so if you're seeking a big night out in Elephant and Castle, there's nowhere better.”

“Borough Market may be where you visit to buy food, but the Mercato is one of the trendiest places you can go to eat! It's a series of local warehouses converted into one of the hippest areas south of the river: dozens of food stalls serving international cuisines, bars, a niche cinema and an incredibly lively atmosphere. That said, there's no reserve seating and it can be much harder to seat larger groups together, especially on Friday and Saturday nights..!”

Theatre
“Fancy a night at the theatre. Why go to the West End when you have an excellent theatre right on your doorstep which hosts both musicals and plays. Go early for a pre-theatre drink in the bar or head to Mercato Metropolitana Food Market which is just opposite.”

“Very popular pop-up market with many stalls for food and drink. People buy the food and drink from the different stalls and eat in communal tables. Popular most nights - try to get there a bit early on the weekend to get a seat”

Brewery

“This German craft brewery located inside the food hall at Mercato Metropolitana apparently prides itself on using water distillation and mineralization technology to produce its brews. The hops, malts and recipes are sourced from Steinbach Bräu, a 400-year-old Bavaria based brewery, which produces all its beer by hand. German Kraft’s drinks menu includes the Heidi Blonde lager, Hopfen Kiss pale ale and Edel Weis wheat beer. Most are served fresh out of the tank or from reusable containers to keep things sustainable. As well as seeing the brewing process in action, punters can order German-style nosh if they’re feeling peckish.”

“I helped the legendary nightclub the Ministry of Sound develop this totally new concept. They’ve converted these awesome two arches under the railway into a new studio space for mind-blowing circuit and strength training with treadmill work thrown in. And you get the best sound system in Europe and laser shows. It’s like nothing else in London. If you’re with someone who can’t be persuaded to work out, there’s a great juice bar in the next-door arch that serves healthy food but also has a full license. So if your partner wants a drink while you work out, all your bases are covered.”
