“The Box Vale Track is a disused train track that has a shorter or longer walking option. The shorter ends at a lovely lookout and the longer option - quite a steep decline, not for the novice - takes you to the falls and then either a round trip or you can make your way to Lake Alexander. We would recommend visiting the website should you wish to take the longer options. ”

“This is a lovely place to have a picnic while you enjoy the view of the lake. For the adventurous type, there is a lovely bush walk that ventures behind the lake or if you’d just like to relax you can just sit and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. There are tennis courts nearby and also a playground for the kids. And don’t forget to bring some bread to feed the local ducks !”
