“They don't call Elmore the beauty spot of Vermont for no reason. Drive up Route 12 to the state park and hoof it for about an hour to the top of the firetower where you can enjoy panoramic views along the green mountains from Belvidere to Camels Hump and along the Worcester Range. Afterwards, go for a swim in Lake Elmore. This is an easy to moderate hike depending and I consider it 'low hanging fruit' considering the payoff.”

“Now in our 13th year of business, and with almost 3 years spent in our brick-and-mortar roadhouse, we are truly settled into our dedicated Black Diamond Barbeque location. We feature traditional wood fired barbeque for dine in and take out and are proud of our weekly rotating specials and desserts that really let our chefs shine. Warm up with a specialty cocktail or try one of the local beers from Hill Farmstead, The Alchemist, Lost Nation, Ten Bends or any number of the wonderful breweries that Vermont has to offer.”
