“Best option for wine, spirits and beer in the local area. Prices are ok, not great, but the craft beer selection is quite good. ”

“If you need a sports fix, they probably have it. Tends to be a younger crowd. Nice patio outside with fire pits. Good selection of craft beers. Pizza is eh, calzones are much better. ”

“Super regional coffee chain owned by the good folks at Pete's coffee (which have improved the joe). Good for that morning fix. ”

Grocery or Supermarket
“Mound is a small town and this is a small town grocery store. In other words, if you are looking for a relatively obscure ingredient I would recommend going elsewhere. If you are looking for essentials, such as milk, eggs, etc, this is fine and close by. ”

Point of Interest
“This is a straight up, old school American Legion. Like, the members built it by hand Legion (and added an addition). Cheap drinks, pull tabs (it is a type of charitable gambling, sort of like slot machines, but cardboard and manual) and Pat, an awesome barkeep. If you ask nicely, he will let you plug in your iPad/Phone, etc to play better music than the jukebox. Great for people watching and a friendly crowd. ”

Route
“It is a nice sandy beach that is roped off and there is a fishing pier there as well. I personally think the fishing is better off of our dock. Carbone's will deliver to the beach!”

“Huge scoops of ice cream, good selection. The Lost Lake Creamery backs up to a nice open park, so you can run off the dessert!”
