  • Joanne was a really nice host :) She helped us a lot and could tell us everything we wanted to know. The studio looked exactly like on the pictures, so no worries. I can definitly recommend it!

  • Although this was just a quick overnight stay, it couldn't have been more perfect. Joanne was a wonderful host & was thoughtful & considerate. All the furnishings were top quality & well deserving of 5 stars,

  • Extremely comfy bed and good shower in a lovely location. No better way to start a holiday, and just 5mins to the airport. We got stuck in traffic and were much later to arrive than anticipated, but Joanne was very understanding and accommodating.

  • Perfect. My son and I stayed ahead of our flight, during his half term trip. Really pleasant and helpful. Accommodation and amenities provided are flawless for a B&B, and nice little touches added such as an honesty mini-bar, and potential to have the car left between stays for a small fee. Glad we will have the pleasure of a future evening, on the return from our vacation, something to look forward to following a days hectic travel back to England.

    David2015-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed 1 night at Joanne and her family's place and found that it was everything you would hope for in a B and B. Joanne and her husband were very friendly and welcoming and the room was extremely modern, clean, fresh and very private. Their property is in a quiet, picturesque, country setting. Joanne was able to pick us up and drop us off at the airport (very early start) which was a great help to us. The breakfast was very generous and provided a good start to the day. We would highly recommend this B and B to anyone wanting to stay in this area, especially being so near to the Stansted airport.

    Kathy 2013-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed only for 1 night in this really nice little studio. The area is very quite and relaxing. The last bus from Stansted is around 9pm, otherwise catch a taxi for £12.

  • Had a fantastic experience at this property in the short evening that we were there. Very easy to find. Joanne was there to greet us and recommended a local pub for dinner. Room and bathroom were spotless, contemporary and very nicely decorated. We weren't expecting breakfast but were given a lovely selection of cereals, pastries, juice, fruit etc. We will be staying here again.

    Cassie2014-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Joanne has created a little oasis of comfort and coziness there. I had such a good night sleep before catching an early flight at Stansted Airport. I booked on very short notice and was lucky that the flat was still available. The communication was very easy and Joanne was so helpful and friendly. Thanks a lot for this great airbnb experience!

  • We stayed in Stansted for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and everything immaculate. Lynn and Ray were very warm and welcoming. As was Lily. Everything was very close and easy to walk to. We were given a few food choices and picked the dog and Duck, the food was very good and within close walking distance.

  • Very comfortable room. Nice and clean sheets and comfortable bed. Good for short stay like in our case.

  • Lovely friendly couple with a lovely house. Enjoyed our stay.

    Jonathan2015-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely bedroom in a cosy attic-type area on the top floor of the house. Sad that I wasn't able to stay longer.. arrived late and left early. Very happy to have sparkling water and dark chocolate in the room, what a bonus and my favourites! Immaculate and cosy. Only very minor cons to mention was lack of full length mirror in the room and the floorboards were a bit creaky so I felt guilty for making noise. Very happy with this place. Thank you Lynn!

    Ashlea2015-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Location, Location very clean and Enjoyed the orange juice and bars on the way to airport

9 minutes by train to/from Stansted Airport, and a 10 minute walk to/from Bishops Stortford station, or 4 minutes from the bus stop. Friendly hosts who are keen bakers,....there may be cake....! Late arrivals are welcome, as are last minute enquiries/bookings.
This is a bright English 'shabby chic' style room which is on the ground floor - meaning you have more privacy and enjoy some separation from us! The room has a double bed and a small 2 seater cream leather sofa. ( I have also a single room on a separate Airbnb listing) The bedding is all new and top quality - non allergenic - goose feather and down quilt, duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases and are always coordinated. There's a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a bedside table - so plenty of storage! You will also find a kettle and tea & coffee things or you can use my Nespresso machine. Home made cake or cookies are also provided. There's free use of our internet, a TV/DVD and USB charging in the room There is a hairdryer in the room and the iron and board (both available on request) The (shared) bathroom is on the half landing...not too far from your room. There is a power shower & separate traditional style bath with ball and claw feet - which you may use if you enjoy a soak! Indulgent bath creams are also provided. If you haven't your own then please feel welcome to use our shower gel etc. My furnishing style is eclectic but mostly English vintage & shabby chic, Ours is an old house with lots of fabulous character and light and a couple of quirks too - which I will explain on check in. My house is my family home, so please expect some imperfections and signs of baking and of family life! It is clean...but not always pristine.
Bishops stortford is a historic market town. It's a great and very 'self contained' neighbourhood with a low crime rate! There's lots of cafes and bars and eating places if you have the time and inclination to 'watch the world go by'! There is a 'local' pub - The Jolly Brewers very nearby and more a few minutes walk away. On Sunday's there's a car boot sale - with some great vintage stuff and bargains for those who enjoy a 'mooch'. Walkers or runners like myself may like to take in the views along our very stunning canal. There's a cinema and a gym. In fact whatever you want, you can find it here. Better still you can reach everything on foot within a few minutes.
  • Nicola and her Mum, who was visiting at the time of my stay, were both extremely welcoming, friendly hosts who went above and beyond my expectations. I was greeted with a coffee and a delicious piece of cake upon arrival at Nicola's home which was a lovely touch. The room was very nice with a very comfortable double bed, seating area and tea and coffee making facilities in the room too. Nicola recommended some places in town to eat/drink and armed with that info I took a wander into town. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from and there is a lovely scenic walk by the river. Nicola's home is conveniently located within a short walk away from all the restaurants and pubs and also very close to the train station. I travelled from, and back to, Stansted airport by train and tickets cost £5 one way and £3.80 to return. It was much easier than expected and being only one stop away from stansted airport the journey took under 9 minutes. I was not travelling light and had multiple heavy bags. Nicola kindly met me at the station and helped me with all my luggage and even returned with me the following day so that I wasn't struggling with all my bags. I believe a taxi costs about £20 so for some that also may be worth considering but the train was a good choice for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Nicola and if/when I am next back in the area or using Stansted airport I would love to stay again! Thank you Nicola for making that part of my journey so smooth and being such an awesome host!

    Samantha2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola's place was lovely and just a couple of minutes' walk from the bus station. The room was great - very tidy and comfortable. Nicola was very friendly and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed.

  • Nicola is very kind, we had a lovely conversation in the morning. She prepared a good breakfast for us. Thank you again!

    Francesca2016-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Made to feel at home, great room and cake!

    Andrew2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • It was lovely meeting with Nicola and her family. We arrived late and left very early, so did not have the opportunity to enjoy all the comforts and company.

    Linda2016-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola is really warm and welcoming, a great host, and I really enjoyed chatting to her. I loved being in the room, its comfy and warm with an added dash of glamour. A great stay

    Sharon2016-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • My experience staying at Nicola's was simply awesome. It exceeded my expectations on so many levels and is great value for money. My plane arrived late from Stansted but Nicola was still on hand all through, advising on transport options. She even picked me up from the train station which was very kind of her. It was past midnight. The room is very beautifully done and exactly like in the photos. She provided me complimentary cakes, which must have been the most delicious I've had in ages. She made me breakfast too and I enjoyed our chat. Room is quiet. Bed is very very comfortable. In the morning i went running at the canal she mentioned and it was a great way to close an awesome experience. I definitely recommend.

We have a bedroom with a King Size bed and its own separate bathroom (right in the next room in the passage) exclusive for your use. Guests will receive a basic breakfast - cereal and/or toast with coffee and tea provided. If you need another room we do have another double room also with a king size bed in it, and with its own en-suite bathroom.
Stansted was a Saxon settlement (the name means 'stony place' in Anglo-Saxon) and predates the Norman invasion of England, although it was not until this invasion that it acquired the suffix Mountfitchet from the Norman baron who settled there. A small remnant of his castle remains, around which a reconstruction of an early Norman castle has been built. Believed to have been fortified originally in the Iron Age, and subsequently by the Romans and Vikings, construction of the Norman castle began in 1066. St Mary the Virgin's Church, built in the 1120s, is a redundant church under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The brick west tower was added in 1692. A chapel of ease dedicated to Saint John the Evangelist was built in 1889 nearer the centre of the village and is now the village church. Village attractions include the House on the Hill Toy Museum, which its owners claim "is the largest toy museum in the World". Located next to Mountfitchet Castle and Norman Village of 1066, both attractions are owned by Alan Goldsmith. The museum opened in 1991 and holds over 80,000 toys, mostly from the 1950s to the 1990s. A working windmill built in 1787 is in the village, and is open to the public once a month. During the Second World War, the US Air Force constructed an airfield near the village. After the war ended, it was subsequently taken over by the government and developed as a commercial airport. Today, MAG Stansted Airport is accessible by road from Junction 8 of the M11 motorway, near Bishop's Stortford and direct by train from London Liverpool Street. Stansted Hall is now the home of the Arthur Findlay College - a college dedicated to the advancement of psychic science. Stansted Hall was built in 1871.
  • Matthew's place was lovely. Such a warm welcome and the house was clean and tidy. Matthew and his wife also took the time to suggest a few places to eat in the area too. Ideal location if your travelling to Stanstead as well. Would definitely recommend!

A short car ride to Stansted Airport, within walking distance of a train station (to London, Cambridge, and the airport), pubs and restaurants, and with parking, this cottage is the perfect location for sightseeing, or as a stopover for your flight.
The room itself is cosy, clean and comfortable with its own access stairs and a bathroom on the ground floor for guests' personal use. There are twin beds, towels are provided and guests are welcome to use the free wifi. For those guests who prefer a double bed, we can open an interconnecting room which you can use if you so wish ( and which also gives extra space ) We are very relaxed about whether guests wish to be completely independent or would prefer more involvement from us. The room has table and chairs allowing guests to eat in the room, and a light breakfast is provided, together with tea and coffee. If a more substantial breakfast is required, there are cafes, a bakery, and convenience stores within walking distance. The cottage sits in the heart of Stansted Mountfitchet, an old village community with its own Norman castle, toy museum, windmill and historic churches. We are well served by a great range of restaurants, pubs, cafes and local shops, all within walking distance. Chinese, fish and chips, pizza and Indian food can also be ordered as takeaway. Stansted is nestled in the Essex countryside and there are lovely walks in and around the village. We are also a short journey away from historic local attractions such as the beautiful Audley End House. Originally built to serve as peasant farmer accommodation, our home was constructed in 1680. A century ago, two of the farm cottages were joined into one building which acted as a girls' school, greengrocers and, finally, an antiques shop. For the last thirty-five years, it has been our much-loved family home. If you are interested in staying with us, do drop us a line. We can recommend local car hire and are also happy to run a pick-up or drop-off service at Stansted Airport at any time of day or night for a donation to costs. For those wishing to leave a car with us whilst you are away, this is also possible. We can also provide lots of help and advice for any guests wishing to sightsee in London, Cambridge or beyond. In addition, should it be of interest to any guests, we have a canal boat based in the Midlands. We would be very happy to take you on a day's cruise for an additional charge – just let us know and we can talk over ideas.

  • I highly recommend John and Katy's versus one of the chain hotels close to the airport. We did not get to explore the local area but did get a good night's sleep in their charming annex

    Liam2015-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • John and Katy were very gracious hosts. They picked us up from the airport and service wonderful tea and their garden. Had a great time walking around there very quaint village. The room was immaculate and clean and had a great little spread of fruits and snacks and drinks for us to eat. Ask John about a tour of the windmill. We absolutely had a wonderful time there, and would stay there again in a heartbeat. PS the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

    Stratton2014-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice and clean house in a very pleasant village. John and Katy did everything to help us and we even learned a bit about bee-keeping from John! The only sad thing is that we stayed only for one night!

    Clemens 2015-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, charming, welcoming and cozy just as on pictures. Everything so well prepared for us. We liked the place of Katy and John so much, that we even decided to stay longer. We also received very good tips for London visit and could borrow maps and travel guides. And extremly helpful tips for other cities in England. Btw the town itself is also nice to explore and absorb the atmosphere.

  • Travelling to and from London is much more pleasant, when you stay one night at this lovely place. Katy and John are nice and helpful hosts. In just 15 minutes you are out of the rush and stress of Stansted Airport. At Katy and John's home it's cosy and calm in their 17th century cottage. And it's worth to wake up early and enjoy their tasty small breakfast. I can recommend everyone, to stay at this place. Katy and John, thanks for everything. We will definitely come again!

  • Lovely annex. Very friendly host, who understood our late arrival. Spotlessly clean, with a few very welcome essentials in the fridge. Easy access to Stanstead airport, but would be nice to stay without having to race off to catch a plane.

  • Suzanne was very communicative throughout and very kindly welcomed us on arrival. The annex itself is a lovely place to spend an evening and had absolutely everything we needed - couldn't have asked for more.

    Thomas2015-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our one night's stay in the annex was wonderful! Brilliant space, very clean and well looked after. We could not ask more of Suzanne as our host she has thought of everything! She directed us on arrival, personally greeted us and allowed us to park within her gated driveway. Thanks for the Indian takeaway recommendation (stop on). Due to the time of our arrival and departures we were not able to take in what I can imagine to be breath taking views, but hope to return to do so! Highly recommend to anyone that requires a place to rest their head. Lovely countryside retreat

Very quiet countryside, no road noise. Only 2miles from main road access.
  • Jon is a very friendly, fast communicating host that provides a nice and tidy annex. Anything needed was done pragmatically (the good way) and quick. We had a great time with our one year old, who could use the spaceous living room for her walking (climbing and bumping into things) exercises. Very nice views at night through the huge front window, very light apartment.

White Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage in rural Hertfordshire. A lovely getaway for families, friends or couples. Cambridge is a half hour drive, London is 40 minutes away by train and there are plenty of picturesque villages to explore nearby.
White Cottage is a 17th Century cottage in a small hamlet on the edge of Bishops Stortford. The cottage is formed of the main house and an adjoining annex. It has all the charms and character of an old cottage but with all the mod cons you could need. In the main house upstairs there is the master bedroom with a luxury ensuite bathroom, a single bedroom next door, and if you are staying with a baby there is a lovely nursery with a cot. Downstairs there is the beautiful family bathroom with a roll top bath, perfect for having a relaxing soak. There is a breakfast room which seats 5 and has a cosy reading nook. The main living room has a lovely wood burner for cosy nights in. There is a wide screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the necessary mod cons. There is a gorgeous double oven, a dishwasher and a pantry with a Smeg fridge and all the crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment you would expect to use. The adjoining annex has a double bedroom with a bathroom next door. The dining room is in this part of the house and is perfect for a big family. Next door is the cinema room, it is well equipped with a top of the range projector, surround sound, a large DVD collection and there is a large corner sofa. The garden is secluded and quiet, with lovely views across the fields. It is a typical English cottage style garden, there is a picnic table, 2 deck chairs, a swing, a hammock and a gazebo to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. We also have a gym outside which is equipped with a treadmill, spin bike, punch bag, TV and Ipod dock. We have 3 chickens which are housed in the run, it is up to you if you would like to let them out and lock them up during your stay, if not we have someone who is happy to do this every day. There is parking for 3 cars on the driveway.
The cottage is a wonderful place to hole up and relax and simply enjoy the gorgeous country setting, the villages of Little Hadham and Much Hadham are 5 minutes away and both have lovely pubs. Cambridge is only 30 minutes away and is great for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The train station is only a 5 minute drive away and gets into London Liverpool Street in under 45 minutes. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Essex and Hertfordshire countryside which both have plenty of villages to visit.
  • Four of us stayed at the cottage for three nights over the bank holiday. It is absolutely lovely, beautiful garden, fire and fantastic cinema room with a great selection of DVDs. The kitchen has everything you need, there is a lovely big dining room and the beds are really comfy. The chickens are very sweet too! And all only an hour from London. The host Laura is very friendly, responsive and helpful. Wonderful stay.

  • We have a wonderful stay at White Cottage. Laura was a great host, we loved the tea loaf she left for us. The house was perfect with our 18 month old (Bee) and so helpful having stair gates and a cot for her, and of course the toys! Bee especially liked seeing the chickens!

  • Beautiful home and a fantastic garden! My family young and old really enjoyed their stay. The house is so beautifully presented its like being in a magazine!

    Kate2015-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • White Cottage is a beautifully presented house, with all the charm of an old cottage with the benefit of modern luxuries. As with many a period building, tall people may need to mind their head in the odd place! Laura was a great host and she kindly left us a basket of goodies and some supplies in the fridge which was a lovely surprise. The cinema room was a real treat for my children and the garden was lovely; I bet it is great in the summer. Beware: the door between house and annexe has a Yale lock; don't leave the key the wrong side of the door! It is in a convenient location and was the perfect place to get ready for my wedding. All in all, we would recommend the place highly!

The kids loved the movie room, we had fresh eggs from the chickens every day, the beds were comfy. All in all it was just what we wanted a cosy cottage experience in a small village but only 40 mins by train to London.... What a gem!! We will be back :)

  • We thought the house and garden were beautiful and would definitely recommend this as a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed watching a film altogether in the cinema room, which the kids thought was awesome for PS3 games too. It didn't bother us, as we only stayed for 2 nights, but we were surprised that there wasn't a washing machine, which perhaps those staying for a longer period would want the use of.

They waited until night, because our flight arrived very late and made for us breakfast every morning . The room was very clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom, we felt us very welcome. If we had the chance to visit London for the second time, we would book this room again. We wish Marina and Joff all the best and thank you for having us. Cheers Tanja and Fabi P.s. Former wing of a 19th century manor house and perfect rural retreat. Following the private drive through stunning parkland provides instant calm. Although only 23 miles from central London this peaceful sanctuary feels 'Far From The Madding Crowd.'
Described by several guests as 'magical' this home is a former wing of an historic manor that in the past has been a girls school and a monastery complete with it's own private chapel. Hidden away in a vast parkland estate with it's own large private garden it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Please note: Minimum 2 night stay throughout the year. With high ceilings and spacious proportions this large 3 bedroom house is elegant but comfortable and homely. Although listed as sleeping 6 adults (2 each in 3 bedrooms), the Master and Kingsize bedrooms are large enough to accommodate another adult sleeping on an electric single airbed to accommodate up to 8. For infants (up to 2 years) a travel cot is provided. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with TV/Freeview Channels, full tea/coffee making facilities, quality cotton bed linen and plenty of towels. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer is also provided. The large patio and garden is ideal for al fresco dining or relaxing and regenerating, surrounded by mature trees.
The house is hidden away at the end of a half mile drive through a fourteen acre parkland, accessed from a B road four miles from Ware Town. Due to the lack of light pollution on a clear evening it's a wonderful place to stargaze. Our county landscape is full of diversity – dense ancient woodlands nestle alongside open arable farmland; expansive country estates stretch across hills and vales, while many fields and forests are punctuated with public tracks, bridle paths, rivers and lakes. The area is ideal for bird watchers, nature lovers, walkers, cyclists, trekking and horse riding with many public footpaths and bridal ways through open countryside close to the house. Pretty villages and market towns are prevalent in this part of east Hertfordshire. You'll be amazed that you're only 45 minutes from London and half an hour from Stansted Airport. My family and friend’s nickname for the area is 'Middle Earth.’

  • We were on our 2nd stay to Brooms Farm but this time with our 4 children aged from 24 to 15 and we had such a great time in a magical home. Rachel had stocked us up with eggs, butter, yoghurt, Jam and Granola/cereals so it was a great start! We had on open fire set and as soon as we lit it our children said we had arrived at " The Holiday " the Cameron Diaz movie, we agreed! Will definitely be back! Thanks Rachel for allowing us share your home.

  • I thoroughly recommend this excellent house. It is spacious yet cosy, well equipped yet uncluttered. We particularly appreciated the peace and privacy (private driveway, parking and outlook), as well as the thoughtful treats and useful basics that Rachel had left ready for us. The house is comfortable, warm in chilly weather, and accommodated five of us perfectly (with plenty of room for a sixth), but was equally fine during the period that there were only three of us staying there. Rachel also dealt kindly and calmly with an unexpected left item that required posting to Japan. Thank you Rachel for your warm welcome, useful advice and ongoing help. I suspect we'll be back soon!

The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to enjoy lovely family meals at the large table. There are also two barbeques which were put to good use. We also really enjoyed use of the pool and sauna, especially on the day when it deluged!! The bedrooms are really spacious and comfortable (most with en suite). We enjoyed a family reunion for a few days and did not have to leave the premises other than to procure more supplies (although there are plenty of suggestions for nearby pubs and activities if required).

    Zainab2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • High Meadow was the perfect place for us to spend our weekend to celebrate a 30th Birthday. The house had everything you think you could need whether it's sunny or raining outside so it was easy to drive up and spend the whole 3 days there without having to leave. It is decorated so well throughout with such comfy seating areas in both the lounge and the den/ cinema room downstairs and each bedroom having lovely bedding and countryside views. It was one of the comfiest beds I've ever stayed in and who doesn't love rolling countryside views when you wake up in the morning!? We spent so much time in the pool and the sauna and loved the colourful lights that come on when it gets dark. We played pool and ping pong both nights as the downstairs floor is such a social area so the perfect space for a big group of friends or family to be together. It was easy to have big dinners with the huge kitchen to prepare it in and then the long table to sit down at. We also made use of the huge BBQ when the sun made an appearance! Nigel was an excellent host, checking if we needed anything else over the weekend and he went out of his way to bring a further music system over for us to use in the den too! So friendly at all times he even took our Sainsbury's food order in and put it all away when traffic held us up from arriving on time- top host!! I would highly recommend this house to everyone and would definitely love to return again- five stars!

  • We had a great weekend to celebrate my mother's 70th. Lots of things to do- the kids loved the pool and the climbing frame and we played endless games of croquet (we brought our set with us)! A few things in the house needed a bit of attention (wifi mainly) but Nigel was in communication throughout and I believe has now fixed.

    Jo2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in Nigel's house - the rooms are a good size for groups and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. Unfortunately we were not able to use the pool due to guests staying before us but he let us know before we arrived and offered us a discount for this too. Would definitely stay in this house again.

Norah and Paul could not have been more accommodating and my son and I really felt more like we were visiting family friends than guests at a B&B. It was also our first Air B&B experience and it was a perfect advertisement for it. Thanks for everything!

  • Lovely house in a wonderful location. Bed is comfy and the shower in the adjoining bathroom was great. Norah is a very welcoming hostess, and nothing is too much bother. Only a short taxi ride from the wedding we went to (Hanbury Manor), so perfect for us

    Charlotte2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Where do I start?! We were so lucky to find Norah's place in the stunning Hertfordshire countryside in their beautiful home. But it wasn't just the lovely room with extremely nice bathroom next to it, the view from the bedroom window across the fields, or the great location and amazing and tranquil building and gardens. It was spending time with Norah and Paul over a glass of wine (a few actually...) and being hosted by the most lovely people we could hope to find as our Air BNB hosts. We weren't just made to feel welcome, we were downright spoilt. The breakfast in itself was almost enough to justify the price we paid for the room! Fresh fruit salad and as much cooked breakfast and coffee that we could put away, which was a lot...! I don't usually rate at the highest end on reviews, but I couldn't see a reason to not give 5 stars across every area to Norah and Paul. If I were to nitpick, and more for the benefit of future guests because we didn't care, the bedroom is on the small side if you're people that need space, which we didn't. But it's a lovely room and the only time you'll want to spend in it is to sleep, in the very comfortable bed. Plus Norah offered to give us more room for our things in another room if we needed it. We turned up late after dinner in a lovely pub not too far away, and that was absolutely fine with our hosts, who then joined us until late for some drinks. From what I can see Norah and Paul, delightfully interesting and intelligent people, do this to meet other interesting people rather than anything else. So please bear that in mind if you choose their place to stay, because it's far more than just a room or an alternative to a hotel, although I'm sure Norah and Paul are equally happy to simply provide lodging to people who just come in and out as well, because they are just lovely people...

    Wouter2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Norah was a perfect host and made us feel very welcome; offered us a drink and invited us to share their supper which was incredibly hospitable of her. The room was lovely with outstanding views and the bathroom was first class and beautifully clean. I cannot thank them enough for a lovely stay.

    Clare2016-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Norah is friendly, warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend coming to stay here. Norah is very accommodating and provides lovely little hotel type toiletries which is a lovely touch. Room a little smaller that expected but was not a problem for us we were out until late and pretty much just slept in there.

    Cassandra2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, tranquil and serene location in rural Hertfordshire. The hosts - Paul & Norah - are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They will assist you in every way to make your stay as relaxed as possible. They are both wonderful people. If you are a weary traveller like I was when I arrived, or a couple seeking a cosy getaway, Paul & Norah's home really is the perfect place for you. Book today.

Self catering bed and breakfast accommodation. £50/night for single occupation, £60/night for double, £70/night for triple. Set in the grounds of 17th century Spellbrook Farm with 16 acres to explore. Fifteen minutes from Stansted Airport.
Each room has a fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. Guests will receive milk, tea, coffee, juice, cereals and fruit. Each room also has a 32" flatscreen TV and free WIFI. The double room has widened doors to allow wheelchair access. The second room has a zip and link superking size bed which can be divided into two full size singles to make a twin room. Adjoining this room is a small room with a single bed. With lockable interconnecting doors, the rooms can also be let as a suite. Bedroom 1 is a double with en suite, offering wide doors for wheelchair access, a disabled bath facility and power shower. If you need wheelchair access, please let us know so that we can put ramps etc in place. This room has a double bed and a sofa bed that makes up into a small double. I also have a singe fold out bed that can be put in the room to give maximum beds but guests should be aware that by using this option, the room is rather crowded. Bedroom 2 is a double with a separate single leading off it, and an en suite shower room. The single room is small and contains a single bed, bedside table and chest of drawers. By taking out the bedside table, the bed can be pulled out to provide an extra single on a lower level. Whilst this suits small children, it will not give ample comfort for and adult. Both rooms one and two have a fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster for guests to prepare their own breakfasts and any other snacks or meals required. We provide milk, fruit juice, a selection of cereals and will provide breads, spreads, fruit etc as requested. The rooms can be interconnected so that a family of up to five could be accommodated comfortably by booking both rooms. By submitting to me a direct booking request you are booking one bedroom with en suite bathroom. To book both bedrooms, please send an enquiry for the price which will be fixed according to the number of people you wish to accommodate. As a guide, one person in a room will pay £50 and each extra person in that room will pay a further £10 up to a maximum of five people in room one and four in room two. Airbnb make a booking charge on top of this.
Spellbrook is a small village with a thirteenth century pub/restaurant, a primary school and a car salesroom. The nature reserve beside the canal is home to many birds and animals and at some times of year water buffalo are grazed there.
  • Margaret was very welcoming, charming and helpful. The houses are very beautiful and the garden makes you feel home. The room was perfect for a triple with 2 seperate rooms and beds. The self catering breakfast was brilliant, fresh fruits, cereals, toast, butter, jam, coffee, tea & milk and more then enough for us. The superkingsize bed was great for my parents and would have easily suited for a little family. Just 15-20 min close to Airport LDN Stansted, last minute shopping at Bishop Strotford and free parking makes the first or last night or even more a big win. Thank you Margaret, always lvoing to come back again for even longer. Best regards & wishes, Stephan and parents

  • Cozy cottage with extra large comfy beds nestled in a country setting just north of London! Margaret is a sweet and kind host! Definitely recommend!

    Charles2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect place to stay with our 1 year old and 4 year old. The gardens are beautiful to play in and Margaret was particularly welcoming and helpful.

    Rebekah2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • The B and B was a welcome respite from our hectic travel schedule with acres of space and donkeys and dogs to talk to. The accommodation was spatious with a separate bedroom as well as the main room with ensuite. It was well stocked with all sorts of provisions. It was a short drive to Stansted Airport with cross country route to avoid traffic.

    Howard2016-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely friendly place to stay with a fantastic breakfast selection. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed visiting the donkeys. Nearby pub and cafe very conveniently located within 5 minutes and if weather were better we would have enjoyed a walk on the tow path. All correspondence with Margaret was quick and easy.

    Alex2016-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • I booked this accommodation on behalf of friends who were visiting the UK. Margaret communicated promptly and was very helpful when I made enquiries. My friends really enjoyed their stay and said that Margaret left ample provisions for breakfast which they really appreciated. It was an ideal location for my friends who needed to be close to Stansted Airport.

    Mia2015-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Margaret was the perfect host, she showed us all the ammenities which were of a good standard - warm and clean, with lots of breakfast choices for us. We were able to contact her easily if needed. The house and grounds are very pretty, we met the donkeys and enjoyed seeing the pheasant and squirrels running about near our window in the morning. There is a long canal walk with a nature reserve opposite the house, down the lane - we only wish it had been good weather and we would have explored further. I would definately come back to Spellbrook Farm.

    Nadege2015-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • We only had a very short stay, but Margaret was extremely helpful and friendly! The accommodation was absolutely lovely and couldn't have been better. Advice to anyone planning to stay here: don't knock on the front door. There is a door on the side. No one uses the front door :P.

Our Comfortable annex with parking, has 1 large double bedroom, and a good sofa bed in the funky living/dining room. Easy access onto A10, 4.5 miles to Ware and trains to London. Half an hour to Stansted. 40 mins drive to Cambridge. Walking distance for the Standon Calling festival! We are surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The annex is in its own building above an artists studio, and offers full self catering facilities including a dish washer. The double bed can be converted into two singles and there is a sofa bed in the lounge. The spacious separate lounge has wonderful views across an enormous parkland style garden and the Hertfordshire countryside. It would be ideal for anyone wanting to stay on a regular basis for mid week periods, while working locally. There is parking for 2 or more cars. It is handy for Hertford, Stevenage, Bishops Stortford, Cheshunt and Broxbourne.
We love the countryside round here, which is very popular for walkers and cyclists. There are plenty of good pubs around the local villages where you can eat. We also have Indian and Chinese restaurants with takeaway less than half a mile away.
  • Kathys place is brilliant! Very clean and tidy with an amazing surrounding garden! Would definitely recommend this to everyone! They are great hosts really helpful

    Harry2016-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying in the detached annex surrounded by beautiful farmland, and sunshine streaming in the many windows. Kathy and Phil made us so welcome that we returned to stay 2 more times in between side trips to other parts of England. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near Ware, in the countryside.

  • Lovely location but the apartment is in desperate need of updating, oven leaks old grease when cooking, shower not draining away. We booked 3 nights but had to leave after 1st night due to an emergency back home, booked another 3 nights but had no offer of a free night from owner, won't be going back again.

    Tony2017-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • The annexe was a great, spacious base for the weekend and Kathryn and family were very welcoming and accommodating.

Situated in the quiet village of Albury 4 miles from Bishop's Stortford. A large self-contained flat in The Old Bakery. Close to town and direct trains to London. Close to village pub which has an excellent restaurant, and Patmore Heath nature reserve. All rooms are exclusively for the guest(s). With own entrance to the flat. The The music room is not part of the rental and we will on occasion need to collect music or practice the piano with prior warning. New double mattress on 5/09/17.
The Old Bakery flat accommodates up to 3 people. It is totally private, and has no neighbouring walls. It comprises a double bed and a single bed. The flat is spacious, clean, light and very quiet, and has own kitchenette and bathroom with separate WC. On arrival, please ring the bell to door No. 1. Flat 3 belongs to our neighbour, and we would appreciate that guests do not ring their bell. A quick text would help if we do not hear our bell ring. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
We love the rolling landscape and fantastic walks. We still find new places to explore, even after living here for 12 years. Enjoy a relaxing stay, or enjoy the numerous walks, cycling or horse riding. Also photography and painting are popular in the area. The nature reserve has many rare animals including newts and butterflies, as well as many varieties of birds. Herds of deer roam freely too through the countryside and woodland, and we have a field of lamas close by!
  • good friendly welcome from Mark who was very helpful with directions, the flat was clean and tidy and was good value for money.

  • I wasn't sure what to expect of a place so near Stansted- perhaps to be kept awake or woken early by planes overhead but the b&b and Albury were a wonderful surprise. I would strongly recommend this place, especially to anyone flying early from Stansted . Cristina made us wonderfully welcome; the flat is spacious, light & clean; the pub down the road was delightful; I hardly heard any planes at all despite being only 15 mins or so from the airport. The choice for breakfast was overwhelming - we almost felt guilty only eating a tiny amount! I will definitely want to stay here again whenever we fly out of Stansted or pass through.

    Michael2014-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely self contained flat in lovely countryside village. Small kitchenette for light meals and snacks, all basic stuff provided. Friendly family, great communication from Mark. Overall, a lovely, relaxing break, in easy reach of Cambridge. Would highly recommend.

    John2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a pleasant stay. Finding the property was quite easy. There was milk in the fridge and plenty of drinks, cereal, bread and jam for breakfast. The photographs in the information give an accurate impression of the accomodation. Better value for money than a N&B or hotel!

    Christopher2015-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy apartment - with an excellent welcome food package on arrival! We were easily able to get a taxi from Bishops Stortford (cost about £13) and we did some nice walks nearby - you can basically just walk out of the flat and go for a wander around the countryside. The Catherine Wheel pub down the road does great food (good sized portions). We cooked in the evening and managed to make a nice meal but be aware that there are only two hob rings and they seem to only have two settings (on and off) - but maybe we were doing it wrong! Just something to bear in mind if you were planning to cook. Overall a lovely stay and Mark was really helpful.

    Lynsey2015-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet neighbourhood, nice walks, excellent pub nearby. The apartment is basic but comfortable.

    Phil2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We booked this accommodation for 7 nights but had to leave after the third night due to the fact that cats had been kept in the room and I had an allergy to animal hair. The main living area was fine but the kitchen needed equipping properly. We were expecting breakfast items to be supplied as per the listing, however, apart from one bottle of milk which was there when we arrived, nothing else was forthcoming. The listing stated that shampoo and essentials were supplied; in fact this appeared to be the leftovers of previous visitors, as did the various items of tea bags/ condiments etc. Overall, I did not think the rental was value for money and I would therefore not consider returning.

    Enid2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • A nice studio apt in Albury near various walking paths and a pub. Mark and his wife were very nice hosts who responded quickly to questions and kindly provided a baby cot for our son. A very interesting array of books on the shelf too! The bed was a little soft and saggy for our taste but all in all a nice stay.

Beazleys Cottage is a beautiful, newly renovated, separate cottage/annexe nestling just on the outskirts of the village. Glorious country walks are literally on the doorstep and yet the village centre is only a short walk or drive away. Perfect for London sight-seeing and/or a stop over before heading off to sunnier climes via Stansted.
The cottage is 20 mins drive from Stansted airport and half an hour (by train) to London Liverpool Street. The train station is a 5 min drive away or a 20 min walk. The Stansted Express train leaves via nearby Harlow.
Sawbridgeworth is a lovely, family orientated village with a butchers, bakeries, Budgens supermarket, gift shops and LOTS of hairdressers! There's a library, banks and a good few pubs, a Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop and the Goose Fat and Garlic restaurant. A short walk from the cottage is The Orange Tree pub and restaurant. The market town of Bishops Stortford is close by where you can find everything you need, including fantastic bars and restaurants.
  • Lovely clean property with everything you need in a great location.

  • Our first Airbnb experience was absolutely perfect at Beazleys Cottage! Such a lovely, private, comfortable and restful place. We loved having so much more than a hotel, and for half the price! Rachel was warm and welcoming, and provided a very high standard of accommodation, and wonderful extras like food and beverages. Brand new and nicely outfitted, the cottage has fabulous country views, beautiful birds and rabbits, and is less than five minutes to town in a taxi. We love Sawbridgeworth for its atmosphere, dining and country views, along with easy access to London and motorways, but Beazleys Cottage has ensured we'll return again and again hoping Rachel can accommodate us. Well done Rachel!

    Kelly2017-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first experience with Air b&b and I consider myself to have been extremely fortunate to have found Rachel and her Beazleys Cottage. The location is perfect if you want to get away from it all. It is in a quiet secluded spot just off the main road, adjacent to the main property. Its a great place to stay if you want a base to explore Hertfordshire and further a field. It has beautiful open view at the rear of the cottage across a field and beyond, not over looked at all. The village and local amenities are minutes drive away. Although I did walk to the village along public footpaths through fields and found it quite manageable. The cottage is simply lovely. Recently renovated, everything brand new and completed to such a high standard. Fittings and furnishings fit perfectly with the cottage feel yet seem modern and very stylish too. It contained all the modern appliances I needed to make my stay extra easy. The fridge and cupboards were filled with an array of essential items that I might need which was very kind and so useful. I was provided with dishwasher tablets, soap powder and any necessary cleaning products I'd need. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries, luxurious towels and a gorgeous chunky bath robe. Beazleys Cottage was bright, spacious, warm, cosy and extremely comfortable. I was a single occupant and felt extremely safe and secure. Rachel gave me a lovely warm welcome on arrival. She was friendly and immediately made me feel relaxed in my temporary home. She explained everything I should know about the property and was very informative about the area. During my stay I knew Rachel was around and easy to contact if I wanted anything, yet she gave me the space and privacy that I needed. She got the balance just right. I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful, restful stay at Beazleys cottage. It was just what the doctor ordered. Rachel was the perfect host! Extremely good value for money. I shall definitely be booking Beazleys again. I fully recommend a stay there!

    Lynn2017-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel was a great host and the cottage is very comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of space and a dishwasher which was very handy for our stay. The bed is very comfortable, as are the sofas in the lounge. We enjoyed watching birds and rabbits from the patio doors in the lounge.

  • What a find....Beazsley Cottage is stunning , beautiful in side and done to a very high spec. I was working in Harlow and it make such a different to my busy working week to come back to such a lovely place. Rachel is so kind and helpful, as is her husband. The little extras made me feel very special and that my comfort and happiness matter. I would highly recommend the cottage. Thank you Rachel so much.

  • Beazeleys Cottage is a beautiful, well equipped spacious one-bedroom cottage made to a high standard, with quality furniture and very tastefully decorated. It feels very homely and comfortable and we just didn't want to leave. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, whilst being respectful of guests' privacy. There was a good supply of breakfast essentials, fruit and even a bottle of white wine! Nice secluded location, yet within walkable distance of Sawbridgeworth through beautiful countryside and very well located for Stansted airport and day trips to London. We would highly recommend this Airbnb cottage !

    Laurent2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beazley Cottage is an absolute delight. The cottage is roomy, welcoming and beautifully furnished. Everything was perfect and Rachel was a lovely host. We recommend the cottage highly and will certainly return if the opportunity arises.

  • Wow! We booked Beazley Cottage so that we had a base whilst back in the UK to get married - it was much more than a base, it became our home for the week and we loved it so much that we were able to extend our stay for a few more days. Rachel has done an amazing job of creating such a warm and homely country cottage, with loads of amazing little touches (including coming home from our wedding to a card and balloons!) and modern appliances. We feel so lucky to have found this place and cannot wait to return when we are back in the country - thank you Rachel and family!! Xxx

The decor is lovely, fresh and modern, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Great walks along the navigation just at the back of the property, enclosed garden much enjoyed by ourselves and dog!! Appreciated the welcome muffins to start the New Year off in good spirits.

This trendy, bright and airy studio with its own private access is within the peaceful curtilages of a gorgeous English Heritage Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, extremely close (a minutes walk or less) to the very centre of the very quaint Bishop's Stortford town. It is very spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay, whether for just a fab' long weekend away treat, perhaps a few months between home moves - or even longer.
It sits in a third of an acre, private manicured grounds, close to the very centre of the town and railway station, whilst benefiting from private, gated access parking and access to all restaurants, bars and amenities that Bishop's Stortford has to offer - without the need to pay for or use a taxi, saving travel costs (and/or your driving license!) whilst staying in a five star rated studio.
Amazing, picturesque and fun town central location, yet it is 'countryside quiet', protected by a row of shops and surrounded by beautiful things and places to see.
  • If you want to stay at just 30 minutes from London and still enjoy the beautiful English countryside, Simon's apartment is the place to stay. You'll have all the space of flat for yourself with all amenities you need to feel at home. Nothing like being able to cook your own food when you are on holidays, what will help you to save money and eat well. If you feel like eating out, though, Bishop's Stortford offers quite a few restaurant options within walking distance from the apartment. The train station is just a short walk, and you can get to London or Cambridge. It's important to mention that the apartment is separated from the main house, so you'll have all the privacy in the world. Simon was a terrific host and is always just a message away if you need anything.

High-end fitted kitchen, stylish furniture, natural sunshine during the morning shower and sofa which you never want to leave once lain on)) It was hard to leave this lovely place and mostly because of hospitable friendly and helpful owner - Simon. The house is lovely and in a nice neighbourhood that is very close to the town of Bishop's Stortford. The room is very clean and comfortable with a spacious ensuite. The experience overall was excellent and I would highly recommend Derek and Tansy to anyone staying in the area.

Your both are very good hosts I go away from home to a short home in bishops stortford. Next I would like to visiting them again!

  • Derek and Tansy were so welcoming. They really made us feel at home. Unfortunately we couldn't spend much time at the house but they made us feel so at ease when coming and going. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was new and spacious. We work in the centre and the house was the perfect location for this, only a 5 minute walk. Next time we need to stay the night in Bishop's Stortford we'll definitely be contacting Derek and Tansy. Thanks!

    Natalia2016-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Derek & Tansy were lovely, and made us feel very welcome. We were late to arrive after travelling through London, and it wasn't a problem for them at all. I would highly recommend, 5 mins walk from the town centre & a good nights sleep.

    Russell2016-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed staying at Derek's. He was welcoming and offered us a cup of tea and gave us advice about the airport bus, just at the end of the road. The room was comfortable and there's a lovely warm shower! Thanks:)

Our house is an end of terrace Victorian cottage with a garden, on a quiet private road. We're 5 minutes walk from the town centre and 7 minutes walk from the train station, from which trains run to Stansted airport in under 10 mins, central London and Cambridge in 30 mins. Perfectly located for all of bishops stortford's amenities. All essential amenities will be provided.
  • The host canceled this reservation 14 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Amie was so friendly and welcoming! She accommodated our late check-in time and was very responsive. The location was convenient coming from Stansted, and the room was cozy & comfortable! The bathroom was shared with our host, so we had a little bit of overlap in the morning but no issues. Overall, a good stay!

    Jenee2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely room and excellent location for Stansted. A little home away from home.

    Maddie2017-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amie was a nice and warm host. The room was clean and cozy. And the place is very close to the rail station.

    Anna2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amie and her partner were perfect hosts! I would gladly stay again. I was in town briefly for a workshop and they were super flexible with my late arrival and early departure times. The flat is conveniently located near Stansted in a lovely little neighborhood a short walk from the train station. The room was super clean and cute with a spacious comfortable bed and bathroom, and they helped me out with toiletries when I forgot my shampoo and conditioner and were happy to lend me an iphone charger. Excellent hosts and flat, highly recommended. Thanks again for having me!

  • Lovely place, warm welcome, host helpful with suggesting where to go for dinner. Perfect for an overnight stay before flying. One thing worth noting is the door for the room has frosted glass, not a problem for me but some may not be comfortable with it. Overall, perfect stop off before travelling

Close to Stansted Airport, a clean, comfortable & small single room in a Victorian house. Own small shower room with WC. 10 mins to Stansted by car/taxi. 7 mins walk to train station. London Liverpool St 35 mins. Buses to airport run all night. Town centre location.
The bedroom is on the first floor. It is small but bright, airy and clean with a single bed, a good quality mattress and feather duvet. There is a bedside table with table lamp and a hat stand with hangers. Each guest will receive clean bed linen, fresh towels and a bottle of water next to the bed. The house has been tastefully decorated with a good mix of antique, designer and second hand furniture and decorations. There are lots of great period features throughout the property including original picture rails, French wrought iron fireplace and wooden floorings. My house is centrally located in the historic market town of Bishops Stortford. It is ideally located for getting to London, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. London is 35 mins by train, Stansted Airport is 10 mins by car/taxi/train and the Cambridge is 30 mins by train. The bus to the airport is located only 3 minutes walk away and runs throughout the day and night. The house is only 3 mins walk from a wide choice of restaurants, banks, shops and a cinema. Although very central, the house is quiet with quiet neighbours in a quiet cul de sac. I offer a complimentary breakfast of cereal, fresh fruit and croissant/Danish pastry served with orange juice, tea or coffee. The shower room with WC is compact and immaculately clean and offers all you should need. I will supply hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tissues and toilet paper. Check-in after 4pm and check-out by 10am.
Bishop's Stortford is a lovely buzzy market town with lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The shopping is good and there are lots of nice walks along the river a few minutes from my property. From here you can take the train to either London or Cambridge. The town has a multi screen cinema, Nuffield Health gym, Waitrose, Sainsbury , Tesco, Boots, Aldi, Accessorize, Pandora, Fat Face, White Stuff, Marks & Spencer, Carluccios, Zizzi, Prezzo , Unico, Cote, Bills, Unico, Chimichanga, Cambio, Pizza Express, Costa Coffee, Cafe Nero, Starbucks plus lots of other independent shops, restaurants and bars and boutiques. I have lived here for many years so am able to make restaurant recommendations locally and in the surrounding area.
  • Claire made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The room was very nice and the house is very close to the centre of town. The breakfast that Claire prepared each morning was absolutely fantastic.

    William2016-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Getting to Claire's was the actual best after such a long day of travelling. The taxi to hers costs about £18 from Stansted airport and it was about 10p.m. when I got to hers but she was up and welcoming and very helpful. She even stayed up pretty late so I could go out and get some dinner before she talked me through where I needed to go the next day (I'm not very familiar with London and needed to get across town to stay with a friend). The room itself is a nice little single with a very comfortable bed. And you get a bathroom to yourself which is right next to the bedroom. Everything was beautiful and clean and I had a really good nights sleep. The next morning I got a lovely warm croissant with some fruit and muesli before I had to leave and Claire made sure I knew where I was going and packed me off with a map as well. Excellent first experience with Airbnb, and would definitely reccomend that people stay with Claire.

  • Claire is an excellent host, I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I set foot in her very clean and beautiful home. The room itself is very comfortable and contains all required for a good nights rest. In terms of location, the neighbourhood is quiet, and it is very easy to get the bus to the airport. Claire puts a lot of effort into giving you as much information about the local area as she can, I became familiar with the surrounding very quickly with her help. I would book again with Claire without hesitation!

  • 100% yes. Claire was an excellent host- warm, caring and flexible. Comfortable bed, quiet room..I was in desperate need of a good rest and no complaints there. Easy bus ride from stansted (URL HIDDEN) clean and felt similar to staying in a hotel... With lovely breakfast in the morning . I wished I had more time here and hope to visit again in the future. thank you Claire !

  • Super cool host, welcoming you so politely and kindly and even so sociable person willed to speak and give great advices for your staying in London. What to say about the house : perfect and Great, super clean both room and bathroom, teethbrush, shower gel, shampoo and other stuff included, included and already in the room even the water for the night and maps of london that she allows you even to hold. Breakfast perfect in quantity and quality. Really perfect host, I would come back if I'll need in the future and for sure I'll advice it to friends are gonna come in London and need to sleep over there in that zone.

  • Really enjoyed and felt relaxed during my stay at Claire's. She was very helpful, hospitable and I found her very knowledgeable and kind. As I was only in need of a room for one night (as I was flying the next morning), she helped me with transportation information and accepted my request just two days ahead. The room as described is really lovely, as is the house (very clean and smells fresh) and the area (very central). It's not far from buses nor a long walk from the train station.
