Places to stay in Nant Peris
The Barn is situated in a stunning and idyllic location surrounded by nature, and yet within easy access to the Village and the start of the main Snowdon footpath. The Barn has been sensitively restored and maintains many of it's original features, including crog loft (upstairs sleeping area with limited head room, accessed via steep stairs) and exposed beam ceilings. The 7.5 acres of land are situated directly behind the barn. Close proximity to Zip World, Caernarfon, local beaches, and waterfalls
The Barn has been sensitively restored, and although it has a lot of it's original character, it is fully modernised with central heating and a modern, compact but fully functioning kitchen area. All towels and bed linen are provided. There is a mobile wireless internet at the property but sometimes the data allowance gets used up quite quickly - so I can’t guarantee that there will be WiFi durning your stay. However there is excellent 4G signal for most network providers There is also a selection of board games, books and lots of CDs to help keep you entertained :-))
  • Brilliant place Serena is a great host, the cabin is in a great location and was given directions. Definitely want to visit again.

  • I'd recommend arriving while it is still light as the approach road is a bit gnarly. You wouldn't manage it in a low profile sports car that's for sure! No problems in our 2012 Peugeot 3008 though. The accommodation is awesome, tucked away, cozy and warm with bags of character. Perfect place to start a hike in the hills and walking distance to Llanberis for food and drinks.

  • This place was magical, a converted barn that felt like home. The space was full of thoughtful touches and comforting amenities. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay for longer. Would recommend to anyone!

  • Serena was such an accommodating host and replied to everything with such speed. The barn is in such an idyllic location and was really very magical. I only wish we stayed longer and that the weather was better. Would deffo recommended and stay again!

  • Absolutely gorgeous converted barn in a picturesque place, just down the road from a waterfall. Incredibly peaceful and stylish! We loved it.

A quarry man's cottage at the foot of Snowdon. Fully refurbished in 2015 to provide excellent facilities for couples and young families. Snowdon is at the door and Rhyd Ddu provides good accessibility to a wide range of other activities.
  • Couldn’t have asked for a better location for this cottage. Especially if you are planning on climbing Snowdon via the Rhyd-Ddu path and the Snowdon Rangers path. The cottage is very nice and cosy and our dogs felt very much at home. The place is very clean, warm and tidy with all the necessary amenities. A place to wash and dry your wet walking gear and an outside garden if you are lucky enough with the weather. The village itself is quiet with a nice little pub within a stones throw of the cottage. There is also a forest nearby to get lost in if the mountain weather aren’t suitable for hiking. The host is very accommodating and communication is impeccable.

    Ryan2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was spot on and the location was fantastic, right on the Rhyd Ddu path to Snowdon!

    Sam2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A superb location to access the Snowdonia landscape on foot or bike. Excellent facilities. Dry and warm. I am a repeat guest.

  • Perfect location for a walk up Snowdon and a super comfortable place, perfect for a quiet weekend away.

  • A lovely stay at a beautifully finished cottage. Perfectly located for Snowdon treks (a 2 minute walk and you're at the base of the Rhyd Ddu path) or just for a chill out. Excellent communications from the host. Highly recommend!

    Ryan2020-01-01T00:00:00Z

  • It is a beautiful cottage, easy to find and well placed for walking and sightseeing. Olwen was very communicative, before and during our stay, offering lots of information and making sure we were managing during the storms.

    Robert2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were looking for a quiet getaway from the craziness of Christmas and to spend New Year in our favourite place Wales. So glad we came across Olwen’s cosy cottage. The cottage is cozy and warm. The shower is hot and powerful. Everything we needed was at hand. Great for just hiding away and perfect location for getting around Snowdonia for a hiking break. There is a bus at the top of the road which we took to Rhyd-Ddu where we visited the Cwellyn Arms pub - open fire, great service and amazing food. Highly recommended! Close to the zip wire too which we had booked to do but was cancelled at the last minute due to high winds. So I guess we will be back !!

    Christine2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quaint romantic cottage with views to Snowdon. Perfect spot even when the weather is a bit torrential. Will definitely be going back soon.

  • Lovely converted chapel with a real sense of home. Two bedrooms we used the lower one as the loft has fairly steep steps . Lovely garden space and views to die for Ideally placed to explore all the big castles and Anglesey. We never tried the local as when we got home we just wanted to stay in the warm and relax

    Pete2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Capel Bach was wonderful. Cozy, warm and a very interesting building. Wonderful views of the hills with mist rolling down the valleys most mornings. We had some awful weather but having such a lovely base made staying in a very enjoyable option.

    Caernarfon, UK, United Kingdom

Great views, fantastic walking and cycling in Snowdonia National Park, close to Llanberis, Caernarfon, Anglesey and the beautiful North Wales coast. Great for couples and small families. The annex is in a quiet rural area with outstanding views, stepping straight out into the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Originally a Welsh Long Barn, this is one of the oldest buildings in the village. Renovated to a very high standard, full of history and character but modern and functional. The lounge is dominated by a wonderful original fireplace, now equipped with a large wood burning stove. The exposed beams and full height ceiling, with additional windows, provide a bright, comfortable space. There is also underfloor heating and a backup electric radiator. In the lounge there is a sofa bed that could be used for additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large patio window that looks out to the patio area and beautiful countryside beyond. The bedroom is in the roof space with large windows that again make the most of the view. The bed is a double bed. There are large glazed panels that provide a view back to the lounge and roof windows that again make the space bright and comfortable. There is a separate, lockable store area for wet goods/ bicycles etc.
The accommodation is on the edge of Clwt-Y-Bont - a small village. There are no properties overlooking Cae Rhedyn and so it is very peaceful. Outstanding walking from the doorstep.
  • Lovely cottage, wonderful location. Spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful touches. Tim and Liz are great hosts and we will definitely be going back.

    Alex2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say about this beautiful little spot. It’s everything you could ever want for a peaceful, stunningly beautiful break. The accommodation is awesome, and really cosy and super warm with the log burner going. We came to the area to walk in the snowdonia Park. But behind the Annex is a great little rugged area to explore with the dog, with streams and lots of wonderful welsh countryside. Tim has been spot on with all communication, and it was wonderful to find some little touches when we arrived such as welsh cakes, milk, eggs and bread. We will certainly be back!!!!!! It’s perfect.

A beautiful cottage in the Llanberis Pass, occupying a stunning spot on Snowdon itself. Bordered by a stream and river; access is across a private wooden bridge. Incredible views and straight up onto the mountain for walkers and climbers. *1 dog permitted only by prior agreement - due to livestock etc - and a £20 pet fee, to be paid on arrival.
Delightful mountain cottage in the heart of the Welsh 3000s, with direct routes up to the peak of Snowdon, Crib Goch, the Glyders and Tryfan. Wake up each day to enjoy the fascinating and ever changing landscape, enjoying that first coffee/tea overlooking a mountain stream. We keep free range rescue chickens, so there is a steady supply of eggs for you to purchase at low cost if you want fresh eggs for breakfast.
Your local pub is the Vaynol Arms in Nant Peris and serves real ale; a dog-friendly climbers/walkers pub. It's around 15 minutes walk away and the lanes can be pitch black at night, so bring a torch :) A short drive further up the Llanberis Pass is the Pen y Gwryd hotel, where Hillary and Tenzing trained for the first successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953. They signed the ceiling, so don't forget to look out for that! The bar is famous for its photos of mountaineers who have trained on Snowdon for Everest.
  • This was our second stay at the cottage, and we loved it just as much as the first. Beautiful location, very clean and comfortable and a great host. Highly recommend.

    James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved Ty Maen and the breathtaking scenery. Finding ourselves sandwiched between storm Ciara and Dennis certainly made it a wild week. The cottage was a welcome and comfortable retreat to both shelter from and observe the dramatic weather conditions and would be a lovely place to return to after a day in the mountains. Lisa and Chris were fantastic hosts and worked incredibly hard to help us ferry our belongings to the cottage when we arrived. They also make awesome welsh cakes.

    Kristel2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved are stay here, the location is perfect an the views are spectacular!!! The cottage itself is very cosy an Lisa left some very nice welsh cakes in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Look forward to staying again in the future.

  • Lovely place to stay in a fantastic location. Would stay again!

    Liz2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Tom’s hospitality, warm welcome and attentiveness was a great addition to our amazing time staying in Nant Peris for our Snowdon climb. Highly recommend this accommodation with an added bonus of a good old traditional boozer next door having great pub grub.

    Steven2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, well kept. Tom is very knowledgable about the local area and is a superb host.

    Will2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very modern and much more spacious than we expected very quite location but that’s what we wanted very neutral to explore the natural Beaty of Snowdonia thanks Tom for being a great host

    Pamela2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We’d like to thank Tom so much for his hospitality during our stay in the cottage. We had a lovely time despite the weather being pretty awful, but it was a lovely break away. The cottage was pretty much what we had expected from reading the reviews and Tom couldn’t have been a better host. We really appreciated his quick responses to our messages and he was even kind enough to give us a lift into the village one evening to save on taxi fares. We weren’t able to get up Snowdon this time due to the weather but it is perfectly situated for it and we may be back in the summer! ☺️ There is WiFi however this can be a bit temperamental and slow, and with there being no signal, it’s perfect for anyone wanting to shut off the real world for a few days - although we did get signal just a few minutes drive away. There is a lovely little pub next door which do nice food and has a nice open fire! Overall we enjoyed our quiet break away and the cottage is nice and cosy. Would definitely recommend!

    Laura2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding hospitality and fabulous location. Tom lives right next door and is a wonderful host; there if you need him with speedy responses, but otherwise leaves you to it. Cottage is clean and homely with plenty of amenities. It's right next to a public footpath which trails being the property into beautiful views. Big supermarkets are about 20mins drive away, but there's a Spar in Llanberis which is 5 mins drive away. Thanks again Tom for a lovely stay!

    Eleanor2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Ideally located place for climbing Snowdon and other walks around the area also easily accessed. The place itself has everything you could need and Tom personally showed where everything was and was around if we had any issues. A great place to stay!

A very unique cosy property converted from an old stone outbuilding. The cottage is on the bank of the Caseg river and surrounded by a quiet garden, providing an excellent retreat, while only 5 minutes walk from the amenities of the local village Bethesda. Take a local walk in the Ogwen valley, to Zip World or access climbing, walking, mountain biking and kayaking activities in Snowdonia directly from the cottage. A relaxing evening soak in the hot tub can be recommended.
The driveway leads to plenty of parking. A paved patio area with seating and BBQ / fire pit adjoins the garden with the river only 5m away. A storage shed for wet gear and equipment is next to the front door. Once inside, a compact kitchen comprises of a double hob, oven, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is seating around the table for four. The living and dining area then leads through to a double bedroom and separate wet shower room and toilet. The entire cottage has under floor heating. A large secluded hot tub can be enjoyed at the rear of the cottage next to the river.
The main house and cottage is set in a secluded, large, riverside garden. Bethesda town has many amenities - pubs, take aways, a small Tesco and Londis. It is possible to walk from the house almost without using any roads to complete leisurely local walks down to the river Ogwen, to Zip World (restaurant) or to access the Carneddi mountain range. Kayakers with experience can paddle from the garden down the Caseg river before joining the Ogwen, one of the best rivers for white water in Wales. More gentle water activities can be had on the lake at Llanberis and there are numerous wild swimming opportunities. We have a number of canoes and kayaks available to loan, but you do so at your own risk! Mountain bike trails are plentiful in the area, or quiet roads for those that prefer. Rock climbing and bouldering are easily accessed in the Ogwen or Llanberis Valley. For those that prefer, the beaches and surfing on Anglesey are only a 30 minute drive. North Wales has a wide range of tourist attractions for visitors of all ages, including castles, National Trust properties, Zip World, Bounce Below, Tree Tops, the Great Orme, Llanberis slate museum and Electric Mountain, The Greenwood Centre , Foel Farm and the Anglesey Sea Zoo all on our doorstep. Bangor, Caernarfon, Conwy and Llandudno all have great restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as theatres and cinemas.
  • If you’re looking for a weekend getaway in a peaceful area filled with fantastic views of welsh mountains, this is the property for you! Myself and my partner had a fantastic stay here. It was about a 15 minute walk to the fastest zip line in the world and we fully recommend staying here if you intend to visit zip world! The views around the property were incredible. Having the waterfall run behind the cottage made the stay even more relaxing. After coming off the zip line and having an explore around the area we came back to the cottage for a dip in the hot tub! Which was an extra special treat! Nick and Lesley were so friendly and welcoming, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

  • Set with backdrop of Snowdonia hills and next to a little river. 5-10 min walk to local shops, cafes and pubs. Ideal for walks into Snowdonia, although due to the storms we didn't manage any. Hot tub was a best part! Clean, spacious and warm 😀 Already recommended to family and friends and we'll be back for sure.

    Elliott2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely location by the stream, a good base for relaxing after a hike up Snowden or an action packed day at Zipworld. Great communications and having a private hot tub, to soak all your aches away is a total bonus.

    Andy2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had the most amazing two nights here, this place is honestly so lovely - the pictures don't it justice!!! The little cottage has everything you need and more, the hot tub is such a nice extra and the area is beautiful with very impressive waterfalls and right on the edge of snowdonia. Couldn't have asked for anything better and we are already looking into dates when we can come back in the summer!!

  • Cosy cottage, perfect for couples. Great location for hiking Snowdon, and 30 min drive to Newborough beach.

    Emily2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a little gem of a place. Everything you need for a lovely relaxing get away The hot tub was lovely too. Will definitely be returning in the future.

    Becky2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely weekend get away destination on the outskirts of snowdonia. Fantastic river side hot tub!

    Georgie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a couple. Lots of stuff to see & do close by & can come back to the hot tub! It has everything you need for a great stay. Small hob, microwave in shed and thoughtful supply of tea, coffee, sugar & yummy biscuits! Very secluded location beside a lovely river. Best thing to say is we'd come back!

Loved the facilities to be able to have a coffee and be able to shower and clean all of our cooking stuff. EVERYTHING has been thought about and we couldn't have had a better time.

  • Small space, but as expected. Very cosy & warm at night (I’d take your own blankets etc.) Location perfect, very secluded and quiet, and close snowdonia. I’d go through daytime as could be hard to find at night & very steep hill going up towards the cabin.

    Molly2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • The pod was very clean and tidy with lovely touches and instructions on how to use the facilities. We was very impressed by the converted stables for the shower and toilet. The location was very secluded and peaceful would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet. On the way up the drive was a bit confusing but the host gave good clear instructions which made it a lot easier. we would definitely like to stay again in the summer :)

  • Cosy but big enough for two. Great to have extra room for drying clothes as it rained when we were there. Felt private and secure as Donnas family live very nearby. We spent a fair bit on carrots and apples for the horses who came up most days for a treat. We would definitely book again.

    Rebecca2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for me and my girlfriend. Really cosy, smart tv, lovely shower, comfy bed, and all the amenities you would need. The location is great and Katy the host was very helpful in giving us local tips and was also very thoughtful with the things she left for us! 100% recommend. The photos don’t do it justice, not a bad word to say.

  • Lovely little property not far from a lot of the attractions and main walks in Snowdonia National Park. The property is next door to the hosts place. Good location - doesn’t come up on google maps when searched but we were given good directions by the hosts. The space was really clean and stylish. The hosts were lovely and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. There’s a really useful hand made guide book of things to do in the local area which is definitely worth a read. Would happily stay here again.

  • Katy is a fantastic host who went the extra mile to ensure we had a perfect stay. The place is new, clean and is a fantastic base for exploring North Wales. I stayed with my wife for a week and we got to explore Anglesey and go up Snowdon. The studio has a great internet connection, smart TV and a proper kitchen. We thoroughly recommend staying here!

For LOCAL PEOPLE ONLY at this time: generous terms available. This is a not-for-profit enterprise. Cwm y Wrach is a listed 19th century cottage a 5-10 minute WALK up a rough track from parking in Nant Peris, and within Snowdonia National Park. Perfect for hill walking, climbing, writing, painting, and/or simply being off the beaten track. You'll need MY map &c to get there. Solid fuel fires on ground floor. Sheets, towels &c provided. Not nosey, but I like to know who you are, your plans &c.
Cwm y Wrach, our lovely cottage is a 5-10 minute rough WALK from the excellent Vaynol Arms Pub & its carpark, Nant Peris. You'll have to CARRY your kit & shopping, but once in the cottage, you'll have a splendid and secluded base for walking and climbing in Snowdonia, writing, painting or simply relaxing away from it all.... Once a climbers' hut, then a cottage belonging to Ian & Loreto McNaught-Davis, Cwm Y Wrach is now our retreat in the Snowdonia National Park. We love it....and we rent it out when we're not there, to encourage people to enjoy the area. A cosy kitchen/dining room, new electric hob and oven, sitting room and two ground floor solid fuel fires. Slate floors. Electric shower and bath in ground floor bathroom/loo, upstairs loo and basin. Three storage heaters, and fan heaters. One main bedroom (double bed) and two rooms with twin beds. Electric blankets. Adjacent utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, our garden tools &c. Fuel is provided (solid fuel, wood, firelighters, kindling).
Snowdonia - need I say more....you can climb Snowdon, rockclimb (or ice, in winter) or walk over to the Ogwen Valley. All depends on your experience. The high ground immediately above the cottage is privately owned, but the walks above the cottage, for example from Gwastadnant, a short walk from Nant Peris, and up over the Glyders is magnificent and far less frequented than Snowdon. Anglesey, Menai Strait, Caernarfon, Lleyn Peninsula, Port Madog, Port Meirion and Harlech are in easy reach by car.
  • This is a really charming cottage in a beautiful location. It's well kitted out and a perfect base for enjoying Snowdonia.

    Lizzy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our second visit to Cwm Yr Wrach, this time with friends for New Year. Was such a lovely place to stay again—enjoyed needing to use both fires this time, and to spend a bit more time in the cottage itself on some extremely windy and wet days. But got a couple of good mountain days too. Magic.

    Jim2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage.

    Angela2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cwm Y Wrach is a very special place. The cottage has everything you might need and is comfortable, warm and cosy, even in the mad weather conditions we experienced. If you like mountains and peace and quiet as much as we do, the location is quite remarkable. Those two things make it a very relaxing place to stay. A great place for recharging your batteries! It is very well placed for mountain activities and 'touristing' alike in beautiful Snowdonia.

    Sue2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Charlie advises you for practical reasons to arrive at the cottage in daylight, but those who miss that mark due to train delays or traffic (as we did) will have the unforgettable experience of waking up in a totally different world from the one they left behind. There is a supernatural quality to the place. Did I just open my eyes to a vision from Tolkien ? Was I transported back in time to a scene created by Hardy, Swift or one of the Brontes ? The cottage is set in the middle of a glen with mountains on every side and ruined stone cottages and walls all around. White sheep are everywhere. No right angles here, no tidy suburban lawns, just natural beauty in its purest form. Inside, the cottage is comfortable and cozy, and if you are an indoor sort of person, you will be perfectly happy curled up by one of the fireplaces with your book or cooking away in a charming kitchen that has everything you need for creating a gourmet meal. The sheep will look in at you with their noses at the window to see what you are cooking (let's hope it's not lamb). You can look out the windows too at the beauty surrounding you, but it would be a shame to be in such a spectacular setting and not get out into it. Pen Y Pass is just a few minutes away by car, and from there you can head up Snowden by one of several paths or go the other way, behind the hostel, on less travelled routes around Glyder Fawr. (I hope I got that right). The other direction by car takes you in a few minutes by the twin lakes into Llanberis and all of the activities there. My daughter said it was the "coolest" place she'd ever been to. My boys took a million photos and videos and had fun talking to the sheep (as did I). The next time we cross the Atlantic we will definitely try to come back here. Who needs London ?

    Benjamin2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I and our three children (11, 8 and 6) loved this cottage! It was the perfect base for a long weekend in Lla nberis. Its location, it's views - stunning. It was very clean and extremely comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer! Hopefully, we can stay again in the future!

    Mathew2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a great location to stay in. House was lovely and cosy with the fire on, just what we needed after our walk up Snowden. Definitely try to arrive in daylight as very tricky to find property in the dark

    Dawn2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I almost want to refrain from writing the glowing review this place deserves to help keep it a secret! But I can't! If you are thinking of travelling to this part of the country then by default you should be seeking adventure - the landscapes surrounding the cottage are simply breathtaking, the cottage itself providing all you should need. Even the approach to the cottage hints at the sense of adventure, which the rooms within will tell you more about. It maybe sound silly to say but it is a magical place - with all the mod cons you could think of! :) Charming, cosy, and convenient - a perfect base that anyone would take delight in returning to after a day's exploring. Top work Charlie!! We shall return!

Recently renovated idyllic log cabin set in a semi- wooded rural location at the foot of Snowdon. The log cabin is accessed via a long private track. The cabin itself has an open plan kitchen - dinning and living room with a wood log burner There is a separate bedroom which is light and airy and you feel like you are outside. The beautiful village of Llanberis is a 10 min walk away with pubs, shops and restaurants. There is private off road parking and an outside area with garden furniture
The log cabin is unique space in a beautiful rural location surrounded by nature and bird song. The cabin is in a private location and is accessed via a private track. There is parking for a single vehicle and there is an outdoor garden area with table and chairs. The cabin is fully central heated with instant hot water
  • We had an amazing time at Serena's lodge cabin. The place is beautiful! Off the track, surrounded by trees, nature, and Snowdonia's beauty. The cabin itself was better than expected. It is spacious, super clean, and Serena cared about every single detail - she even put decorations, bords games, and DVDs for the guests. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can make some food before exploring Snowdonia or after the long way of walking around the Park. The fireplace was absolutely amazing, it was lovely to sit by it in the evening. The cabin is centrally heated and when we had some inquiries on changing the temperature or the time of the central heating operating, Serena immediately helped us with that. The communication with the Host was perfect. The cabin is located just a few minutes walk from the waterfall and it is a very good starting point for going to Snowdon. The experience was amazing, much better than staying in one of the cottages down in the village. If you need some privacy and love nature - I definitely recommend!

    Joanna2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a fantastic time in this beautiful little cabin. It was so peaceful and the scenery was spectacular. Serena made life so easy thanks to her quick communication.

  • Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. Pictures do not do it justice. It is hard to imagine any better place to be after long cold walks. We enjoyed fireplace and reading available books.

  • If you ever get the chance to visit the charming town if Llanberis do it! And if you do, stay at Serena’s cabin. If you love the outdoors you’ll love this combo. The cabin is so charming with everything you need of modern living to make it an amazing AirBnB.

    Kerryn2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Communication with Serena was very easy and replied quickly. The lodge is very cosy and location is perfect although would definitely recommend arriving before dark. Bed was very comfortable and once the fire was lit it warmed up quickly, although there is heating as well. Would definitely go back.

  • My parents had a great time at Garry and Serena’s lovely converted lorry, they couldn’t quite believe what had been done with the space and the amenities available there. They really loved the location, peace and quiet with great views of Snowdon. Thanks very much - I’ll be back myself :)

  • We stayed in this cosy little spot for 2 nights and we loved it. The space has everything you could need, a well equipped kitchen, a lovely fire to keep the place nice and cosy and an amazing bathroom. Garry was so nice and helpful and very quick to reply to any communications. The fire was lighting when we arrived and even though the weather was cold and stormy, we were more than comfortable inside. The place was private and the location is great for sightseeing around snowdonia. Perfect for a short getaway!

  • A great place to stay for an adventure up Snowdon. Garry and his family were welcoming and Bella the lorry was well thought out and a very comfortable stay. The drench shower was amazing after a long day climbing Snowdon! Peaceful setting, would highly recommend.

  • Great place to stay! Fantastic bathroom. Great host too! Thank you 😊

    Charlie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect night away in this unique lorry...just what we wanted. The log burner was lit for when we arrived which was a lovely touch, and Garry shared tips on where was best to walk. Great nights sleep even with the bad stormy weather outside. Definitely recommend a stay here!

    Hannah2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Bella is worthy of being in George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces! Lovely private area surrounding the van. Garry let us know about local walks when we arrived and ensured the firewood and coal was topped up for a lovely log fire, which was already lit before we arrived-thoughtful touch considering the dire weather! Would definitely recommend.

  • What a beautiful place to stay! Stunning views of snowdon and lovely lorry conversion. Came up for a few days to escape the hustle of bustle and really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend to anyone.

Sorry but for the moment we will not be accepting further bookings due to the COVID 19 pandemic. A Double room in our home, Cadfan House - a 200 year old slateman's cottage in Llanberis (Snowdon's Village). A minute walk from the high street and the infamous Pete's Eats. The village is situated on the beautiful Lake Padarn and is a great base for exploring Snowdonia. Walk up Snowdon from the back door!
  • Ben and Robbie are super interesting and gracious hosts, their replying speed was fantastic and any questions were answered easily and happily. The guest room and the house itself are beautiful and have a real homely feel, the room has everything that you might need whilst you are there (towels, tea, coffee etc) The location couldn’t be more ideal for walking up Snowdon on the Llanberis path, there is also a bus from the high street 2 minutes away from the house which can drop you off closer to the other routes up. The restaurants and pubs along the high street serve pretty good grub for an early morning breakfast or a pub dinner post walk! I couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone looking to have a home away from home for a few days. Their lovely doggo and the garden also won extra brownie points ✨

  • Ben and Robbie's room is sparkling clean, cosy and beautifully decorated. We booked it for a family member to stay in while visiting us in Llanberis, as we didn't have enough space for everyone. My relative had a wonderful comfortable stay! Great location, lovely house, and very kind and thoughtful hosts.

    Eleanor2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • The room was really comfortable and spacious, and it was lovely to be able to have a hot bath after a day out in the mountains. Brilliantly central.

  • Ben & Robbie have been very kind and helpful. The room was lovely decorated and perfectly clean.

  • My husband and I stayed at Ben & Robbie’s place for a weekend, to climb Mount Snowdon. We got the train from London direct to Bangor and then a 20 minute taxi to Llanberis. The house is in a great location in the town - right next to the High Street, and super close to the Sherpa bus stop (which links the alternative routes up Snowdon), pubs, cafes and restaurants. Ben & Robbie’s room is great value for money and they were really accommodating. We would recommend their place for a couple of nights in Llanberis.

    Hilary2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect place to stay during my walking trip. Very central, and with good facilities. I was the only guest starting to had the bathroom to myself, all very clean with shower and bath. Bedroom was very comfortable, complete with storage space and trees and coffee making facilities. Ben and Robbie are very friendly and made sure my stay was problem free.

    Jill2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great room to rent, perfect for climbing snowdon and great location to visit for a quiet get away If I’m ever in the area again, then I will be staying there again

    Charles2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly and welcoming. Happy to help with any question and if you are unsure of where to go they will point you in the right direction. Enjoyed our stay with them 🙂

  • I had a wonderful time here. Very interesting space and people. Thanks for a great week.

    Emily2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here as part of a short solo walking holiday. Friendly, welcoming hosts and lots of things going on to join in with. Healthy food available at lunchtime and dinner (for a small donation) and having breakfast options included was very useful for early mountain starts. Good value and a fun experience.

    Ed2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks guys. It was wonderful to stay with you in your space for the past week. You’ve created a wonderful peaceful space in beautiful surroundings and it was lovely to be made to feel so welcome. The Astral Ship project is a work in progress and visitors should expect such. That said I probably had the best sleep I can remember in my cabin. Highly recommended for the adventurous soul. I’ll be going back!

  • Jackie's place is ideal for anyone want a good sleep before Snowdon. Jackie is very friendly and check in and out was very easy. Unfortunately we were too tired when we arrived but there is a bar downstairs if you want to have a drink before bed. We were in a shared room with 4 beds but we (2 people) had the room to ourselves. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Would stay again if we were in the area.

    Josh2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a kitchen stocked up with food. Stayed for one night, the Airbnb is in a great location. Despite arriving quite late in the night we were greeted graciously by the host.

  • I cannot recommend this highly enough, the room is excellent value for money, but the personal touches make this the ideal stay, both the staff and locals are so friendly and make you feel at home and as we were on a charity climb of Snowdon, Jackie raised some money in the pub for the charity too. All 6 of us who stayed had a great time, if I'm in the area again this is the first place id look to book, thanks again to Jackie her staff and all the locals

Our cosy 'Elidir' glamping yurt has one double bed, two chairs, tea and coffee, kettle, electric fire and sockets for charging phones. With modern newly refurbished facilities, it's probably the most unique accommodation in the local area! Campfires allowed, BBQ's allowed. The perfect base for Snowdonia! The Llanberis Path and Snowdon Ranger can be accessed direct from the yurt! (You can leave your car here so you don't have to stress about finding a parking spot!)
If you are looking to conquer Snowdon - this is the perfect base. We are the closest campsite to the Llanberis Path; a simple half an hour walk will find you a quarter of the way up Snowdon on the Llanberis Path. The ranger path is also accessible from camp. The Miners and Pyg are also easily accessible via the Sherpa bus from Llanberis village (10 minute walk). If Mountains aren't your thing - don't worry, there are ample tourist attractions in the local area such as Zip World, Caernarfon Castle, Bounce Below! As comfortable and lovely the yurts are - Glamping is STILL technically Camping! Please be aware, the yurts will not be as warm as indoor accommodation during exceptionally cold nights in the wintery months. The yurts are perfect for anyone wanting a countryside escape with (a lot!!) more comfort than our campsite has to offer... Or simply those who are after more of a unique feel than 'standard' accommodation can offer! Even though the yurts are based on our campsite, the yurts are in a private position and feel completely separate. Due to this we do not allow camping in the yurt area, nor allow anyone who isn’t on your booking in the yurt, general yurt area or use the glamping facilities. This is a one rule for all. New for 2019 - Our lovely modern toilet block has been FULLY RENOVATED. This is a private toilet block for yurt guests only! (will be shared with our other 3 yurts but NOT with the general campsite) Showers are FREE. (for hygiene reasons please bring your own towels and toiletries, toilet roll is provided.) NO TOWELS ARE PROVIDED NO COOKING FACILITIES NO PLATES / CUTLERY ARE PROVIDED Do not use post code in satnav or airb&b directions. Type Camping in Llanberis into Google maps for accurate directions.
  • Very comfortable space and close as you can get to Snowdonia!

    Erik2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great two night stay. The electric fire heater heated the whole yurt which was awesome and needed for the time of year, the bed was comfortable, and the space was pretty much private. The newly done bathrooms were clean and warm. Unlike the creepy crawlies you can get with standard campsite bathrooms, the only spiders present in the yurt bathrooms were just a few in the window! Which was awesome because I hate spiders, especially showering with them... Location was ideal as the local town was perfect and it was a 10 min drive to the Miners trail to head up Snowdon!

    Sophie2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was lovely! We stayed for my boyfriends birthday, it was a perfect location for walking up Snowdon, very warm and welcoming at the end of the day! The shower block was clean and modern, and she even added a birthday banner for us!

    Matilda2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was really cosy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. The campsite is in a great location, very scenic and close to the town. A great place to stay if you want to walk Snowdon as the Llanberis path leads to the campsite.

    Alex2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in the yurt. It’s a great space for a couple of days rest and we felt at home. The location is perfect for those wanting to climb Snowdon and it’s 15 minutes to the village centre. The private toilet block for yurt guests is a nice touch. Really enjoyed and would recommend!

This is a compact, functional single bedroom in a recently refurbished townhouse on Llanberis High Street. Ideal to use as a base while exporing the area or a stop over on your travels Wash hand basin, Desk, 32" TV, USB charging points & Hot drinks machine in room. Bathroom is shared on the same floor. Strictly non smoking. Off street private parking (at owners risk etc). There is an area inside the house for safe cycle storage if required.
Grove House is a recently refurbished townhouse (19th century so some squeaky floorboards) on Llanberis High Street. It is towards the end of the village so a little quieter than the centre but bear in mind there may be some traffic/pedestrian noise from the main street. Around a minute's walk to the famous Pete's Eats cafe for breakfast and also a lovely Indian restaurant/take away. 2 mins from a great fish & chip shop and kebab/pizza takeaway.
Llanberis is packed with enough attractions to keep visitors busy for weeks. But first, there’s the lakeside location at the foot of Snowdon (the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085 metres). When you’re tired of walking beside the water – which you won’t be – take a ride on two narrow-gauge lines, the Llanberis Lake Railway and Snowdon Mountain Railway. The latter climbs almost to the doorstep of the stunning Hafod Eryri Visitor Centre. Lots to see and do in lakeside Padarn Country Park. The National Slate Museum recalls Snowdonia’s rich industrial heritage, Electric Mountain invites you into its awesome high-tech underground world, while Dolbadarn Castle takes you back a thousand years to the time of the native Welsh princes. If that isn’t enough there are craft shops and watersports too, though most outdoor fans come for the walking. As well as the mountain paths, follow the self-guided Llanberis Heritage Trails taking you to fascinating places around the village.
  • Lovely clean single room; was perfect as accommodation for the Snowdonia marathon weekend. I can highly recommend this room as it was clean and everything I needed was present.

  • Niel was honestly a super host! He was very communicative from when I booked. He was very kind to offer to fetch me from the station and take me back the following day, which was greatly appreciated. He gave me some recommendations of where to have dinner and of course breakie after the Snowdon climb. I also got back from the hike and he had the tv on, all ready, as we did speak about the World Cup and that id hope to make it down the mountain in time to watch my team play! His place is located on the high street, so this is a prime spot! My room was great! En-suite bathroom, comfortable, clean, and has the nice touches of a coffee machine & bathroom amenities. I would highly recommend Niel and his place to stay and most certainly look forward to stopping over there again.

    Kylie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Value for money - excellent location

    Michael2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at Niel’s place. The house is in a good location with an easy access to public transport. There’s a local grocery shop 5min walk away and a few restaurants/pubs. I loved how close to the lake the house was. Llanberis itself is also a great starting point for your adventures in the mountains. As a guest you get access to shared kitchen and living room, and a set of keys to your room as well as front door. The house is clean. The bathroom is huge and the room itself very cosy. There was a also a hot drinks machine in a room which I think is a brilliant idea. Neil was very lovely and helpful with giving tips on how to get around and he even offered me a lift back to the train station in Bangor! I had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Neil and his accommodation. Thanks again!

    Kasia2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Niel's place is a recently refurbished and comfortable BnB in the centre of Llanberis. Close to all amenities in the village and amongst beautiful scenery. Niel is a great host and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. He even picks you up and drops you off at Bangor railway station which is a really convenient and stress free way to begin and end your stay. I had a single room with flat screen tv, pod coffee maker in the room and comfy bed. Very peaceful for a good nights sleep. I strongly recommend and plan to return.

    Colin2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Niel was really friendly and approachable. He responded to my messages quickly. The room was clean, as was the bathroom and kitchen. The place is in a really good location in the centre of town. I had a really good night's sleep and felt totally refreshed the next day.

    hazel2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • I couldn't fault my stay. Niel was able to accommodate my requests, he has add lots of thoughtful touches and the bed was super comfortable. I wouldn't look to stay anywhere else should I return to Llanberis.

    Flo2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • A clean well run, residence central for all things in Llanberis. After a hard day trekking in the area the essential need is for a really good shower to wash away the miles. Niel has all that at his home. Wholeheartedly recommended.

The cottage itself has everything you would ever need, and special note to the beautiful bedroom with views over the mountains and waterfalls. The location is incredible, you can walk up Snowdon from the house and in the opposite direction is Bedgellert Forest and beautiful lakes to walk around. Rosie was a fabulous host, as other people have mentioned the lemon drizzle cake was amazing! Rosie kindly let us stay longer in the cottage as there wasn’t a booking that day, which was so appreciated and made my husband’s birthday even more special. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it’s a beautiful cottage in an incredible location and a wonderful host, thank you Rosie!

The house is really homely, spotless and modern but with the style of a cute cottage - really warm too even when freezing outside! Fabulous hot tub and very comfy bed. Rosie best host we've had, even made us a cake! She was very helpful and welcoming and let us know great places to visit x

  • Rosie’s cottage is PERFECT. She was great at communicating with any questions I had and she gave us the absolute best welcome when we arrived. :) The cottage was so clean and cozy! Not to mention the hot tub was nice and warmed up upon our arrival too! Step outside of your front door and you have two trails that lead straight up to the top of Mt Snowdon! Rosie will answer any questions you have if you are planning on doing any walking/hiking. I could go on and on about how great this place was, so do yourself a favor and book this place if you’re trying to stay a few nights in Snowdonia!

  • Little gift left by the host of fresh eggs, bread, milk, pancakes and wine added extra homely touch. The place was sparkling clean and tidy. The cottage also benefits from amazing views from the windows. It is good walking distance to Llanberis.

  • Janices' cottage was awesome! It is tucked away in an idyllic location on a farm, even with cows nearby! It gave us an authentic experience of North Wales right next to Mount Snowdown and local towns. The place was so clean and Janice left us some fresh eggs and bread which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend staying at the cottage, you won't be disappointed!

  • Absolutely lovely place, we loved our stay. The views from the cottage are amazing when weather is good, the place was clean and quiet at night and the bed comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a lot of information about the area, and a good collection of books and even a few movies in the lounge! I definitely recommend staying here.

    Kristel2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Janice's cottage for a weekend break. It was easy to find and the location is very central and convenient for the local attractions, in our case the Zip World experience. The cottage was spotless, very cosy and perfect for a weekend away. I would highly recommend this property and Janice was a great host.

  • Perfect location for a weekend break in North Wales. We were able to walk to zip world from the cottage and took the scenic route through the back gate directly into the forest. The cottage exceeded all expectations and was more of a home away from home with lovely small touches like fresh flowers. Communication with Ceri was brilliant and she was on hand providing useful tips, no issues with check in/out and next time we head to North Wales we will most defiently go back.

    Georgie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most marvellous time at Ceri's miners cottage. It looks so tiny from the outside, big on the inside! It has been thoughtfully redecorated inside with lots of light, a lovely fireplace and a great kitchen. Ceri was on hand and greeted us as soon as we arrived (a little later than planned!) Two bedrooms, one on the ground with step-free access to bathroom, and one on the first floor with access to the garden. Great access to local sites. We visited the slate museum, ate at local restaurants (15 min walk away) and don't miss the Zip World!!

    Sarah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely cottage with wonderful hostess. Ceri provided lovely welcoming touches and communication was faultless, quick and thorough. Location is great for adventures yet it’s very quiet. We found the cottage clean, spacious and really homely. It was also incredibly warm and cosy. Really couldn’t fault it!

    Christine2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A gorgeous, cosy cottage with plenty of space to relax. Perfect location with lots of things to do and fantastic walks if you get the weather!! The log fire is the perfect way to a end a day where you can enjoy a drink and completely relax!! Everything you can think of is on hand in the cottage to use even books and games for the kids!! An amazing cottage that is more than we could ever have imagined!! xxxx

    Michelle2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent location situated in the gorgeous Snowdonia national park. The accommodation is sparkly clean and has wonderful little touches like fresh flowers, food in the fridge and even chocolate buttons for my son. A selection of games and books to keep little ones entertained as well. The garden is lovely but not easily accessible if you have limited mobility. Perfect for a weekend away or a longer stay. Perfect hosts who went above and beyond.

    Grace2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really great, comfortable cottage. Great location for heading out in the mountains. Top hosts...couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The home is the end terrace the first house of the village, with views out of every window to the mountains . The garden includes a BBQ. Inside the house is a large through lounge which has a working wood-burner and large TV. The house has a cottage'y feel to it. There is a dining room which has slate flooring and a kitchen, which includes the washing machine/drier and a dishwasher. Upstairs there are three bedrooms two doubles and one single, a bathroom with a bath and shower.
The central heating is powered by oil and the water is pumped from a well into the house.
Facilities in the village include a small Spar supermarket, doctors surgery. There is a cafe on the High St. We are half a mile from Dinorwic Slate Mine and also a coffee shop which comes highly recommended. We are situated 2 miles from the beautiful Llanberis which is the centre of outdoor activities in Snowdonia, including walking, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking and pony trekking as well as water sports such as Scuba Diving. We are also 6 miles from the Castle walled town of Caernarfon. Snowdon mountain is 6 miles from here near Blaenau Ffestiniog. We are 15 mins over the bridge from the Isle of Anglesey.
  • Alison and her husband are really nice hosts. Even if the bedroom was little, it was ok for us and the bed was really comfortable! They let us use their kitchen which was really nice too. Definitely a good value for money

Our luxurious yurt has one double bed, a day bed and pull out bed, tea and coffee, kettle, electric fire, sockets for charging. Campfires allowed. BBQ's allowed. Newly renovated modern facilities. The perfect base for Snowdonia! The Llanberis Path and Snowdon Ranger can be accessed direct from the yurt! (leave your car here so you don't have to spend half your day finding a parking spot!) Please note- 2 Adults & 2 Kids or 3 Adults max PLEASE DON'T ENQUIRE FOR 4 ADULTS.
If you book for three adults, two will share double bed and one will use the day bed (pull out bed will not be made up / removed) As comfortable and lovely the yurts are - Glamping is STILL technically Camping! Please be aware, the yurts will not be as warm as indoor accommodation during exceptionally cold nights in the wintery months. The yurts are perfect for couples, families; generally anyone wanting a countryside escape with (a lot!!) more comfort than our campsite has to offer... (for hygiene reasons please bring your own towels and toiletries, toilet roll is provided.) The yurt has one double bed and a day bed with a pull out single bed. Due to manufacturers advice - we will not accommodate adults to sleep on the pull out bed. (If you do - you will be doing so at your own risk.) NO TOWELS ARE PROVIDED NO COOKING FACILITIES NO PLATES / CUTLERY ARE PROVIDED Do not use post code in satnav or airb&b directions. Type Camping in Llanberis into Google maps for accurate directions.
There are plenty of walks and tourist attractions nearby. The village of Llanberis (1/2 mile or a 10/15 minute walk away) offers - pubs, restaurants, take away's and convenience stores.
  • We had a great night in the yurt before climbing Mount Snowdon. Very comfortable and nice atmosphere. Really appreciated the warm water bottle. The heating got the yurt warm quickly thankfully!

  • This place is beautiful! It’s cosy! The bed is comfy! They even gave little tea and coffee and hot chocolate sachets! Gorgeous location! Loved it :)

  • Just returned from 2 nights in the Glyder glamping yurt. Would highly recommend if looking for somewhere to explore Snowdon, great location with only short walk to the path or steam train. Inside the yurt, it had a warm and cosy feel with some lovely touches to make you feel at home, outside the yurt, the views are simply stunning. Private shared showers and toilets for the Yurt guests were clean and modern. As there is only 4 yurts, we didn’t have to wait for other guests to finish on any occasion. Would definitely visit again. Thanks.

  • A fantastic location with the most beautiful views. We spent 3 nights there with 2 kids. A beautiful 10 min walk to the village, where you can find SPAR,restaurant and cafes. I recommend taking a train around the lake and visiting the National Slate Museum. There is a great outdoor activity centre for kids right next to it. Ffion’s place proved to be located perfectly to climb the Snowdon too. An amazing path with breathtaking views. The yurt is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable ‘camping ‘ experience.

  • Perfect little yurt, sparkling clean and great location. Weather was quite cold in the evening, but we were perfectly toasty ☺️

    Rebecca2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place! We stayed here for one night as a base to climb Snowdon. The yurt was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is just by Llanberis town up a hill which is within walking distance. The bathroom facilities were excellent and a short distance from the yurt. We really appreciated the tea, coffee and hot chocolate for use in the yurt and felt that we had everything we needed for our stay. Many thanks.

  • Great yurt in a fab location directly up a street (on a hill) from Llanberis' high street. Was a great base for exploring Snowdonia NP. Private toilet and shower were clean and yurt was cosy even in 50mph gusts and heavy rain :)

• Ben and Robbie were fantastic hosts, handled a booking error on our part with minimal fuss, welcomed us to their cosy home and generally were a pleasure to be around in the limited time we engaged. The room has all the basics, the main selling point is location, very central and surrounded by mountains, hills, the lake, hikers and walks. Thanks for a great stay!

My 1 bedroom cottage is a short distance from Snowdon and offers beautiful views of Anglesey. Situated near Llanberis, the cottage is perfect for couples, a small family or single traveller looking for somewhere to stay, from 2 nights to 2 weeks. Dog friendly. The cottage offers the perfect base for nearby activities, such as walking, climbing, canoeing, paddle boarding and mountain biking. Things nearby: Zip World, Go Below, Anglesey Beaches, Betws-y-coed Swallow Falls, Steam Railways.
Recently rebuilt to a high standard this cottage features all mod cons, double glazing, full central heating, and unlike most stone Welsh cottages in the area it's warm, light, and dry! The lounge and kitchen are open plan, with a raised ceiling into the roofline. The main feature of the lounge is the original stone fireplace that defines that cottage feel. A fully equipped kitchen with double electric oven, hob, fridge and microwave. The bedroom and bathroom are entered from an adjoining doorway. The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe and cupboards for your use. The bathroom has a shower/bath combination. The front of the house overlooks miles of open countryside and villages, all the way across to Holyhead on Anglesey some 25 miles away. The Irish Sea can be seen from the front garden. There is a local shop and cafe within walking distance for any last minute essentials. Larger supermarkets can be found in Bangor and Llanberis. Access to Snowdon: self-drive, bus or taxi (details within Welcome Pack or just ask me)
Rural community with easy access to the mountains and lakeside.
  • Located in a great spot within Snowdonia. The cottage is clean and cosy, the perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring. The wood burner is great and warms the whole cottage. Mary is the perfect host and replied quickly to messages. She also provided information on the local area and things to do. Check in was easy. 10/10 and would stay again without a doubt.

    Philip2020-03-15T00:00:00Z

  • We really enjoyed our visit to North Wales. Mary was a great host, her communication prior to the trip was great. On arrival Mary popped in to ensure everything was ok and gave us great advice on where to visit during our stay, it was lovely to meet her. The cottage itself is great, well equipped and we felt very much at home. The log fire was a nice touch and was lovely to sit in front of after a day out in the cold. Would visit again

  • If you are wanting a ideal relaxing get away then this little cottage is perfect. It is in a good location with everything only a short drive away and the log burner is the most wonderful thing to come back too after exploring!

  • Mary's cottage is absolutely charming, in a really nice quiet village but a fairly short drive to lots of really great areas and attractions which Mary gave great suggestions for, we would highly recommend staying there to anyone who wants to see what the area has to offer.

    Leon2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful stay at Mary's beautiful cottage. Everything you could want is there. Very cosy, lovey and warm. Brilliant location for the mountain ranges, very easy access to the starting points for Snowdon (which I did). Mary's Welcome Pack is terrific, lots of useful information. I would recommend taking a drive higher up along the road, as soon as you turn the corner the views are magnificent. Very friendly locals as well. Thank you Mary for letting me stay in your much loved cottage.
