From there you can sit and relax , walk and jog around that mostly people do. Near to it the dumaguete ferry port if you want to travel another islands through ferries. Along with the area theres different restaurants that offers good food for both locals and tourists. And during night time clubs starts to rock and moreover you can see local eatery which offers some pilipino delicacies one of it is well known as "Balot" or a developing chicken embryo that is being boiled and eaten from shell. Restaurant
“Sans Rival Bistro is home to Dumaguete's famous pasalubong or dessert --- the Silvanas. Hoards of locals and tourists alike line up to get a taste of their butter and chocolate silvanas. I highly recommend dining al fresco (facing the Boulevard boardwalk) while having a cup of native tsokolate paired with silvanas! Try their new dessert -- the Josephines! ”

“This place is just stunning and is still pretty unknown to your average traveler. A 7 tier waterfall with guided tours to take you up one tier at a time. See it before it becomes over crowded. Easy to get too from the Resort.”

Lake Balanan is a freshwater lake found deep in the mountains of Barangay Sandulot in Siaton , a municipality in the southern portion of Negros Oriental province. The lake is bounded by mountain ranges and fed by three streams, the Lamarao Creek in the northeast, the Balanan creek in the middle and the Nasig-id in the northwestern end.”
