“If you are looking to do a little venturing out, there is a small town approximately 25 mins from Da Camp, called New Iberia. They have a small historical down town with a handful of bars. I particularly enjoyed Napoleons because the buildings architecture was undisturbed and felt as though we had time traveled to the turn of the century. The walls are covered in paintings of Napoleon which I felt was appropriate given Napoleons history of being a Narcissist and his fondness of having his portrait painted of himself. This bar won’t disappoint with their large array of liquor. I ordered a gin and soda. The bartender asked if I wanted a double, but I politely declined. Luckily so, cuz let me tell you these bartenders have a heavy hand. I Last but not least, the most charming part of this bar is the tucked away court yard suited with wrought iron patio furnishings. ”
