“As its name suggests, Chickie Wah Wah is one of NOLA's premier dance and groove spots. The bar is known for its live music almost every night and its dedication to supporting local talent throughout the community (all cover proceeds go directly to the band). Chickie Wah Wah offers daily drink specials during happy hour and an extensive menu of classic southern BBQ dishes. Be sure to stop in any night, but don't forget your dancing shoes! ”

“OKAY-so not technically in MidCity just on the edge and some of the freshest sushi in town and they deliver! They are ALWAYS BUSY which means the fish has to be fresh, it never has long to sit! They have a take out window- call ahead. Very reasonably priced.”

“A little off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip! Local Cajun Chef Adam Lee runs the kitchen at this bar. You will find no greater or more authentic Cajun Food anywhere in New Orleans. Fast, casual, indoor and outdoor dining and plenty of tables to relax while you eat too much food. The best gumbo, boudin, smoked sausage, Tasso, shrimp and grits, and Cochon you will find for the price. Ask for Adam!”

“Strongest and tastest daiquiri's in the city. The place looks sketchy but everyone is there to have a good time. Try the Bob marley or Pineapple express! Cash only. The most expensive daiquiri in a large is only $12 and its the only drink you need for the entire evening. ”
