  • Ryan was a fantastic host! We never met, but he responded very quickly to any questions I had. We were three girls visiting New Orleans for the first time and felt super safe at his place. Also the pictures don’t do it justice... so many areas to chill alone or with someone else. Also he let us stay an extra hour for check out, and offered to hold our bags until our flight. Thanks for everything!

  • Absolutely amazing

    Erin2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pretty short walk to the french quarter. I loved the gym and the rooftop pool. Make sure to lock the door behind you right away once you're in the room because it takes a minute for it to relock. Also make sure to look the door when you go to leave right after you open it by placing your palm over the keypad otherwise it will stay unlocked for a while. As a single female travelling I was concerned when I realized how long it too to relock until I figured out how to lock it faster.

    Keith2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Seriously the best experience ever. The space is beautiful and exactly like the photos, great amenities, amazing bed, PERFECT LOCATION! We walked pretty much everywhere we wanted to explore and go minus a few Uber’s to farther away spots. I could go on and on. Book it.

    Rachel2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in this Sonder apartment. We enjoyed the spacious living room and excellent facilities (drier and washer in the apartment at no extra charge). The apartment is close enough to the French Quarter and CBD but also far enough to appreciate much quieter surroundings. The Sonder team was incredibly helpful and responsive. We stayed a week, but this would be a good option for a longer stay too.

  • Lindsey and her family were extremely accommodating and the apartment is like something from a dream... so lovely. Great location, convenient, charming, with a safe and homey feel. Highly recommended.

    Lisa2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey’s place is truly one of a kind! It’s in a perfect location! The coffee shop across the street was amazing! The building itself is old, but gives a very cool vibe. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot (actually the bathroom was recently renovated) I would definitely stay here again.

    Melissa2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • I will be a repeat guest for sure! Loved everything about this place and you can tell it’s been taken care of by the host. I highly suggest it to anyone visiting Nola!

  • We loved the place. It was bigger than what we thought from the pictures too. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

    BRandi2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey’s place is fantastic! It is spacious but still cozy. It has a hip, turn of the century vibe that is wonderful. Great location, tucked away but still close to everything. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to many of the museums and a 30 minute walk to the French Quarter. We loved our stay and will be back again!

    Jessica2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place. Unique location. It’s a historic building so a little rough around the edges (hence 4 stars for cleanliness vs. 5) but that has nothing to do with Lindsey. The spaces she could reach were immaculate! Street noise bothered us the first night but then we discovered a huge box of ear plugs and were fine. The space is truly beautiful and the location perfect. Lindsey even offered to keep and donate our excess Mardi Gras throws. Would stay again! Side note: coffee across the street was a perfect first stop every morning.

    Heather2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space & great location! Lindsey gave us clear directions for checking in/out and plenty of local suggestions. Loved all the natural products. We will definitely stay here again!

  • Second time here and was just as wonderful as the first! They accommodated me above and beyond with last minute travel needs. Safe and secure building central to all things NOLA. Can’t wait to come back here.

  • Awesome place. Loved the balcony and jet tub. Close to street car so easy to get around without a car.

    Rebecca2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • 5 Stars doesn’t cover it- this space was beyond perfect and nothing was left to chance - from the kitchen to the bathroom and everything in between, I found the place spotless, well-appointed and boasting tons of extras- a bag of ice waiting, bottles of water, lots of closet space, fluffy towels and extra soft plush blankets... oh, and the balcony was phenomenal!!! (Even though it’s at a busy intersection, it was surprisingly quiet.) Owners were extremely responsive and keep the place very secure. Will not only rent again, but will tell friends visiting the area to do so, as well. (Another bonus- the nail salon below was GREAT!!!!). ** final note- this property is so centrally located a short walk or quick ride share will take you everywhere you want to be in NOLA.

  • Great place to watch the parades for Mardi Gras! The host was nice and accommodating. The place was very homey and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. Check out his families restaurant (Please U Restaurant) right down the road on St. Charles.

    Stewart2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay! The location is within walking distance to the restaurants and to dos in the CBD and on Magazine Street and Saint Charles. There was street parking and the premium lot across the street was affordable and easy to use. The place has a lot of character and the amenities were exactly what we needed. We felt very secure with the multiple key pads that were easy to use. We look forward to staying at this location again.

    Payton2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was great. It was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The check-in and out process was super easy and I loved not having to worry about a key. Located about 2 miles from the French Quarter. We had no problem walking or catching a cheap (less than $10) to the French Quarter and Magazine St.

This apartment (1/2 of a duplex/double) is in The Bywater. Walk to the French Quarter in just about 20 minutes or Frenchman st. in 15 minutes. Apparently, I should add that there is a train 2 blocks down the street and church bells across the street. Also, there is a memory foam/body conforming mattress. The house is set off the street so no stoop sitting. Enjoy the front porch for people and pet watching. STL# 19STR-10362
"La Maison des Chats" is nestled in one of the oldest neighborhoods in New Orleans; we are a quaint double; "Old world charm in a modern city." Conveniently located this apartment is downtown and just minutes to all sites and tourist locations. I am constantly buying new items for the space, so it is not cluttered (yet). I ask all guests, that have stayed, to let me know what I should provide for their comfortable stay and I have provided all they suggest.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city and has been one of the top neighborhoods to move into in America. We have working families that walk their dogs everyday by the house and some are even pushing their baby strollers.
  • This place was amazing the location is everything. I loved the easy walk from the house to the quarter and the neighborhood is cute with a lot of color and friendly bodies! If he ever wanted to rent it long term I’d be first in line! Danny was an amazing host with great conversation and an easy spirit to him. If you’re ever in New Orleans as a couple or solo traveler I definitely suggest his place you really can’t beat the price, location or company!

  • Danny’s place never disappoints. His hospitality excels all expectations. ❤️

    Dawn2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a great little place to stay while visiting New Orleans, and Danny is a wonderful host! We instantly felt at home in this cozy duplex. The best part is that it’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to all the fun! Within walking distance (25 min) to French Quarter; there is a park close by that follows the river and almost takes you all the way into FQ. Its also around the corner from some great bars, cafes, and restaurants in Bywater itself. Definitely recommend checking out the restaurants close by. Would stay here again!

    Michael2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Danny's place was great! He was great on communication and allowed us to check in early since our cruise docked early. He made sure the house was stocked with coffee fresh eggs water and much more! Highly recommend

  • Great place! Walk to Frenchmen’s street, enjoy a walk along the river, visit art galleries on Royal, and take in the French Quarter without using your car! Danny was a great communicator and quick to respond if we had a question. Place is well appointed. Great bed! And Danny’s generous bottled water and snacks! Loved the front porch for reading a book or relaxing at happy hour.

Sheryl had complimentary waters, coffee, and popcorn waiting for us and was always available if we needed something. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay with a short drive to the French quarter!

LICENSE # 18STR-15653 Historically significant 1816 house separated into 5 completely private apartments. Your apartment is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a kitchenette, small dining area, 1 queen bed, a couch and a full size air bed. The location is unbeatable. 1 block from the streetcar line, 1.5 blocks to Frenchmen and 3 blocks to the French Quarter. Walk everywhere!
This house is located on North Rampart Street in the historic Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, just East of the French Quarter. North Rampart Street used to be called Rue D'Amour, or the "street of love", and the famous streetcar named Desire used to run right by it on neighboring Bourbon Street, which used to extend into the Marigny but now stops in the French Quarter. The house, built in 1816, is one of the oldest houses in the neighborhood, and was once run as a bed & breakfast called A Cottage on Rue D'amour. Now it houses locals as well as tourists exploring the city.
  • Nice cozy place that feels friendly. It is very well located in the Marigny to experience a lot of New Orleans on different levels. Any street is full of local history and color. Good food, funky bars and nightlife are around the corner or a couple blocks away. Close to the river. Within easy strolling or stumbling distance from the French Quarter.

  • Jen was a very responsive host. Our check in and out were super easy, and she provided us with lots of local tips! We enjoyed exploring the city for the evening and having a crest space to relax in.

    Melissa2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • I would definitely stay here again. It’s a fantastic location— close to everything but still feels like a neighborhood. Check out Iggy’s Bar and the Orange Store (for fried chicken and po boys). Check-in was super easy. Jen was very responsive and helpful.

  • Jen's place is very stylish and in a perfect location - extremely walkable! We will definitely be coming back!

  • Wonderful location if you plan on spending a lot of time in the FQ and the apartment is very well kept and cozy. Perfect place for 1-2 people looking to explore the city and makes for a nice retreat to relax and wind down as needed.

  • What a gem! This space was super cute, affordable, and in the perfect location for food, music, art, drinks, and more. We rented bikes at Alex's bike shop and rode all over town. We had a great time, and this was the perfect spot for us!

  • Amazing space!

    Lisa2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jen's place was stylish, cozy and convenient. The space was small, but had all the amenities I needed, in a charming old style home. I very much appreciated the small touches of style and flair Jen added while decorating the house, as well as the complimentary beverages in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. The apartment itself was located within 10 minutes walking distance to the French Quarter, and was very convenient for me to head over and grab dinner. I was able to park without issue one block down from the apartment, where there are no parking restrictions. Overall, a great stay, and would definitely stay again!

  • The place was awesome and the host was so thoughtful and flexible with me being a nurse in the area for the COVID-19 response. The space was spot on in comparison to the pictures. We stay here again.

    Tiffany2020-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Clean place, great location, and very quick communication. My husband and I had to fly into town for his father's funeral arrangements. With restaurant closures and limited food options, it was nice to have a well-stocked kitchen to prepare food in. Also, they had snacks and although I've never taken advantage of that in the past, it was a welcome surprise this time since we were low on supplies.

    Lisa2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline's place was fantastic. We found the apartment very easily using the directions given and check in was quick. It's a really stylish apartment with everything you need, plus some locals treats and tips! We found it a great location very near to Magazine Street and some great coffee shops, and just far enough away from the centre of the city. Communication with Caroline was very quick and plenty of information about the apartment was provided beforehand. Very comfy bed, good TV channels and a lovely terrace for sitting outside in the warmth

    Tess2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time in NOLA and Caroline’s place is in a lovely area in the Garden District and is walking distance from eating places and shops and also close to town and 10min walk to tram. There was a lot of snacks and toiletries provided, bed was wonderful and comfy, clean and had a nice little verandah at the front to sit. We will definitely stay here when we come back for longer next time.

Recently renovated 1 bedroom on the edge on the Historic Bywater neighborhood. Walking distance from neighborhood restaurants and bars such as Parleaux, Vaughn's, Jack Dempsey's, and a local favorite Bacchanal! A short 5-7 min Uber ride down to the French Quarter and Frenchmen St.
Recently renovated, the space consists of a living room with a large sofa, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed, and 1 full bathroom. Central AC/Heat. Roku LED TV with apps Netflix, Amazon and Hulu etc built in. We have no Cable TV at this time other than what you can stream on Apps.
The apartment is on a quiet block, on the edge of the Bywater neighborhood. Just to clarify, it is not in a city center or big tourist area like the French Quarter. We are on the outskirts of that area. The levee just one block away where you can get amazing views of the Mississippi River. Located near the train tracks that comes around a few times a day.* Friendly neighbors have lived in the area for a long time and everyone looks out for each other. Many of Bywater staples are just blocks away. Bacchanal is a few blocks down and a must see when traversing the neighborhood. They have an amazing courtyard and live music here every night! BJ's, Vaughn's and Bar Redux are great watering holes that host various nights of live music, game nights and drink specials. All within walking distance. A convenience store only two blocks away that serves lunch and a pretty good beer selection. Also this neighborhood hosts some of the oldest and admired architecture in the city! *Please Note: The train is right by the apartment and can come by several times a day and even LATE at night. The train horn can be very loud at times. I have a very effective sound machine and ear plugs to help combat the noise, but it doesn't drown out the train horn completely. If you are sensitive to loud sounds, please be aware before booking my place.
  • Clean and comfortable

    LaToya2020-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • I had a really good stay. The place was really clean and the kitchen had everything you would need. I appreciate quick response and for letting me check in early. I definitely would stay here again.

    Jamise2020-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place was very comfortable and clean. The location could've been better to see downtown French Quarters. Using the bus transit was just across the street.

    Virginia (Ginny)2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute, clean place right with the locals. Everything we needed was there. We loved the white noise machine and will be getting one! The train was rarely a problem and the neighborhood was quite and peaceful. It's not in the heart of all the madness which is a plus and allowed us to get out and enjoy the neighborhood yet still close enough to get a Lyft or walk to everything.

    Shara2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph’s place is comfy, cute, super clean, neighborhood’s quiet, & 10min away from the French quarter!

    Roshiel2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cute place, Joseph is very nice.

    Paul2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is perfect for a New Orleans stay, away from everything but close enough to enjoy all the sights. We could walk into the French Quarter, local bars & Restaurants. A small Uber charge into Broubon Street. I would highly recommend.

    Donna2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph’s place was nice and clean. The walls were a little thin and the train could be loud a few times into the night, but we knew this going in and it wasn’t a huge deal for us. You’d still have to uber or bus into the city but it’s still a convenient little location, especially for its price. For all we needed for our 4 night stay, Joseph’s place hit all the marks!

    Chris2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb and Glenn’s Place far exceeded our expectations. The house was extremely clean, Glenn was quick to respond & very informative and the location is perfect. Mid-City is full of so many great establishments. The street car is just a block away and took us all over New Orleans.

    Daria2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn is a great host and the place was exactly as it was in the photos. You don’t always get what you see, but this home was perfect for our stay. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of tour information provided and place was clean. Take a small airboat tour if you have time! We enjoyed it and ate out way too much with so many choices in town. This home was a great location to see everything we wanted on our vacation.

    Don2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • I booked this trip 6 months in advance not knowing anything about the location or city in general. Couldn’t imagine being in a better spot for Mardi Gras. Great local dives feet from the unit. We had the best time! The place was perfect and had everything we needed!

    Jordan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn was a great host. The space is clean & sunny with plenty of light. The location in mid-city is close enough to walk to City Park where we enjoyed the NOLA Art Museum, Botanical Garden for a boubon tasting and the Sculpture Garden (which is free to the public). There are many restaurants/bars nearby as well. If you'd rather eat in there is a full size kitchen & a few grocery stores nearby. The French Quarter is an easy Lyft or bus ride away. We would certainly stay here again.

    Michelle2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

And then you’re only about six blocks from the Trolley stop on St. Charles. You can park your car off-street and never need it again until you leave. Suzanne was very cordial and even offered to do a wash of clothes for us because the washer was on the fritz and we were staying for an extended period of time 10/10 would recommend! Also, the bed is super comfortable!

  • We were beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to stay with Bob and Sue during Mardi Gras ! They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and we left feeling like family. If you are lucky enough to stay as their guest consider yourself lucky. Can’t wait to come back and visit soon. Who dat!

    Robin2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! We wanted to be slightly outside of the hustle and bustle, so this was perfect. Wish it had been warmer to enjoy the pool! Bob gave us great recommendations when we arrived, and saved us a lot of headache with “parade tips”! Would definitely stay again.

  • Robert is extremely friendly and always ready to suggest places to eat and things to see. The location was ideal for any one interested in visiting the French Quarter, any of the great museums, or the Garden District. New Orleans is a very walkable city with lots of unique architecture. It was great to stay in a place where you are so close to everything the city has to offer.

  • The studio was beautiful and it was in a great location! Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

    Meghan2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was spacious and very clean! Loved the location. Close enough to get to wherever we wanted to be quickly but far enough that it felt like an escape from the craziness that was Mardi Gras (lol)! The bathroom was pretty small but since it was just my husband and I, it wasn’t a big deal. I kept all my toiletries to get ready on the kitchen counter and coffee table since there was such limited counter space in the bathroom. Not a huge deal, just a heads up. Also loved having the small convenient store downstairs for whenever we needed a snack or water. The people who worked there were super sweet!

    Stephanie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We chose Niko’s place for the last night of our trip. It was a quick decision but we were so pleased that we did! The place was absolutely beautiful, clean and in a great location close to plenty of the NOLA highlights! He was also very accommodating with a few of our requests as well. Another neat part is the convenience store downstairs. It has everything you would need. Super convenient! Hands down a great place to stay in New Orleans. We would absolutely choose this place again!

Brand new cozy 1-bedroom apartment 3 blocks from the French Quarter, located in the historic Tremé neighborhood. Join us to experience a timeless city with a unique way of life, New Orleans is a journey and a celebration. Steeped in European traditions and Caribbean influences, the Big Easy calls curious minds to sweet sounds and savory aromas fueled by three hundred years of history.
We are walking distance from the new Rampart Street Car Line, the French Quarter, the Lafitte Greenway, and many restaurants, bars and lounges. Popularized by the HBO series, Tremé is the birthplace of Jazz and home to many of the past and present giants of the genre. We are also adjacent to Louis Armstrong Park and the Mahalia Jackson Theater. Whether you are walking, biking, or ride sharing, you'll enjoy the 200+ year old architecture found along the historic streets and boulevards.
In a city known for its history, music, and personality, no neighborhood overflows with more of any of these qualities than Tremé. An easy walk from the French Quarter or Marigny, Tremé is a lens into New Orleans life from the locals who live it. Tremé is a solidly residential neighborhood infused with a long history of cultivating famous musicians, stirring up Creole cuisine, second-lining through the streets, and burying loved ones in neighborhood cemeteries.
  • Ayo & Makiya were great hosts! They gave us recommendations on the best restaurants and hangout spots in the area. Speaking of the area...the home is in a great location! It’s close to the French Quarter. The space was clean and the hosts provided us with everything that we requested.

    Ronnie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! Very clean, with lots of space, and had everything we could need :) The location was good, a quick walk from the French Quater, and right beside the Armstrong Park which was nice to walk through every morning.

    Katherine2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. Very clean. We walked to Bourbon St. which is about six blocks away. I would definitely recommend it.

    Lupe2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Ayo and Makiya's place is as advertised - clean and spacious, located in the historic Tremé neighbourhood and steps from Louis Armstrong Park. My partner and I had an excellent week in NOLA, and having a safe, quiet and beautiful space to return to at the end of every night made our trip that much more special. I cannot recommend them enough.

    Leah2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A great clean place within a quick uber ride away from all NOLA activities. The hosts provide easy check-in instructions and are attentive. Great experience, would recommend those wanting a quieter neighborhood that’s still near all the action.

    Margarita2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The check-in instructions were spot on, and the place was easy to find. It’s close enough to the French Quarter to be a quick drive from anything exciting happening, but far enough away that you’re able to sleep peacefully. The place is exactly as it’s pictured, and has everything you need to have a home away from home. You WON’T be disappointed in this choice!

    Mike2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Clean place. Not in a sketchy area. Some areas in new Orleans can be uncomfortable at night, but I did not feel this way here. Very nice place. Left beer and beads out for us. Great recommendations on food and music! Would stay here again

    Mike2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • A great renovated gem centrally located near the French Quarter. Comfy bed and stylish touches. Although a bit further than three walkable blocks, we Ubered everywhere with no problems. Hosts were very responsive and provided fun local tips. Book it and enjoy!

This cute 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment truly feels like an oasis. Let it be your refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is located in Treme on Bayou Road, near the famed French Quarter. Perfect for Jazz Fest and other events. Book today!
Our apartment is located in a historic home. You'll appreciate the beauty of the original floors and finishes. The furnishings are both comfortable and functional, while honoring the style of the home. We can comfortably accommodate two people, although a third person could definitely sleep on the couch.
You'll love the neighborhood. Tremé is a culturally rich area, full of gorgeous architecture and a deep musical tradition. It's an easy walk to the French Quarter and famed Congo Square. Also nearby is St. Louis Cemetary #1, resting place of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau.
  • The best AirBnB I’ve stayed in! Brandon and his wife allowed us to check-in early and park our luggage after our check out! They offered our favorite treats and sent us all the great local restaurants to try! Will definitely be staying here again! 12/10 recommend!!!

    Bria2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • It is a peaceful quiet place in Treme'. It is an upstairs apartment within the beautiful house. The classic architecture is all there. It's a little more than a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. We felt safe and everyone we met in the neighborhood was kind, friendly and courteous.

    Dwight2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so beautiful upon arrival. Nice touches and was even given more trinkets and gifts to enjoy. The place is a perfect location. Walked to dizzys cafe one afternoon. Short uber right to the French quarters. And has a great balcony to just relax on and people watch. We were given recommendations on food and other activities as soon as we arrived and it was just an overall fun place to stay at. Thanks for making our short girls trip memorable

Our newly renovated apartment is right in the middle of town, within walking distance of Magazine St. and just on the edge of the Garden District. Plus, it's just 3 blocks from the streetcar and St. Charles Ave.
Please be our guest in the newly renovated apartment situated at the back of our really old (1850s), charmingly-dilapidated house. It’s just a couple blocks from the parade route/street car/St. Charles, and only about a mile from the Superdome. They don’t call it Central City for nothing! Walk past the main house, down a winding brick pathway, and up the stairs to the private entrance. You enter into the kitchen, with concrete countertops, old wood floors, and plenty of sunlight pouring through the original wood windows with old bubbly glass. Fix yourself a drink and head up the spiral stairs to the bedroom. Just around the iron handrail is a queen size bed, and plenty of reading material about the places you’ll want to see and the food you’ll want to eat while you’re here. Then venture out the bedroom door onto the balcony. Did I mention you’re on the third floor now? The view is excellent, the palm trees sway in the wind, and you can hear the marching bands as they pass down the parade route. I almost forgot the bathroom. Honestly, it’s not huge. But it’s everything you need, plus a claw foot tub. And cozy towels, and bubble bath, and . . . well, it’s a bathroom. And just in case you’re wondering, it also has a flat-screen tv, internet, a microwave, a coffee maker, all the things you need in a kitchen, and probably some welcoming Abita beers in the fridge.
Central City is the Best! We're right in the middle of everything. . . and I don't mean right in the middle of the French Quarter, I mean in the middle of a less touristy, little bit quieter New Orleans. We're just on the edge of the Garden District, a short walk from Magazine St, and just 3 blocks form the streetcar line. Plus, we're only one block from the super hip, up and coming Oretha Castle Haley Blvd where you'll find the best coffee, the indiest movies, a few restaurants, the new Food and Beverage Museum, and a tatoo parlor in case you're in the market. So come check out my neighborhood, you'll love it like I do!
  • thank you so much for sharing this cute sweet home full of tradition in every detail and home feeling . it was definitely a find that made our time in NOLA smooth and very much enjoyable.

    Laura2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time in NOLA and I was really nervous. My location played a massive part in my comfortability. I never once used anything but the trolley which was super close and convenient. The apartment itself is too nice. Historical and beautifully restored. Also very secluded and private. I almost forgot that I was part of a huge home it was so it’s own. The claw foot tub: wonderful The bed: comfy I literally have no complaints.

    Amanda2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely place to stay. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and the bed was extremely comfortable. I hesitated to book initially because the listing said the bed was a double and my friend and I weren't sure we wanted to feel that squished in our sleeping arrangements. In the end it seemed bigger than a double to us and we both had plenty of room and slept great. We walked to garden district multiple times (about 15 minutes), and also walked back from the French quarter (just over 20 minutes) and it felt very doable when we wanted to stretch our legs rather than taking a lyft.

    Jennea2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great, centrally located spot that allowed my husband and I to walk most places we wanted to get to! The check in was made easy and everyone in the area was very friendly.

  • Great location, great hospitality and a fun space. Highly recommend!

    Michael2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space, the pictures don’t do this spot justice. Jackson let us leave our bags before check in which was a LIFE SAVER. Well located, easy to get around. Lovely tub - just be careful to hang on when you head up the spiral stairs! But seriously, i went up and down many times after a few too many Bloody Marys San was just fine. Loved waking up to greet the chickens and her lovely scruffy pup Pearl.

    Olivia2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jackson’s place was a wonderful find, totally exceeded our expectations. It was in a great location, and the environment was serene and a lovely little escape. We love the history of the building, and the wonderful dog Pearl who greeted us at the gate. Jackson is every bit the super host, and Margaret was an absolute doll. Thank you again for an amazing Nola stay! ♥️

  • I am no good at writing this sort of stuff. Some other reviews mentioned cockroaches, well I never saw one or their dirt. As for the water pressure we found that to be very good. Some said Doug was rude well that was not how I found Doug to be. I found Doug to be very helpful. We found his place to be very suitable for our needs. In saying this it could do with a little freshening up

Even during a pandemic and quarantine there was plenty of TP and paper towels! Lol The home is in a perfect quiet location with very friendly neighbors. Although this trip was not filled with the norm of going out to eat and doing lots of activities due to everything being closed, this is still a great place to stay when everything opens back up because it’s only a few blocks from so many restaurants and shops. There is also a nice back patio where you can sit out at night and enjoy the night air. Vic was very prompt in returning all of my text messages and even checked in to make sure I had everything I needed.

  • Our first time visiting New Orleans and even with all the craziness going on with COVID-19. Vic was an amazing host. The home was super clean and very cozy just perfect for 2. Check and check out were easy. Overall one of the best experiences we’ve had with an Airbnb. Definitely will stay here again! Great location and great community

  • Very clean, comfortable bed, excellent hospitality from Vic. Nice touches such as umbrellas and rain ponchos. Excellent location near Magazine St. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again...and again!

    Cheryl2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very responsive and nice with great tips of what to do nearby! Would definitely stay here again!

  • Perfect set up for 9 days of Mardi Gras: off the route and away from the crazy but close enough to walk to all the fun. I loved having a quiet retreat with all the amenities I could possibly need for my stay. Vic is charming and knowledgeable and made sure everything was readily available.

    Elaine2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent Airbnb and Vic, the host, was amazing! There are a lot of special touches including coffee, bottled water, and the best communication I've ever had at an Airbnb!!! The towels were nicer than I have at home and the bed was better than the Hilton. I highly recommend!!!

    Kristy2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The photos don't do this place justice! There's no New Orleans neighborhood more accommodating that the Garden District, and it's just steps away. Magazine Street shops, St. Charles streetcar, quiet streets and gorgeous homes are all around. The hosts have thought of everything: coffee, bottled water, toiletries, the world's softest towels, space heaters, neighborhood tips, laundry facilities, a back patio, umbrellas, ponchos, beads, wi-fi ... even makeup wipes! I love this little house.

The Faubourg Tremé, or as it is more frequently referred to, Tremé, is an ideal, historic neighborhood just steps to the French Quarter. New Orleans' Tremé neighborhood is geographically the part of the city that lies between North Rampart and North Broad, and from Canal Street to St. Bernard Avenue. The area received its namesake from Claude Tremé, a model hat maker and real estate developer who migrated from Saugivny in Burgundy, France, and settled in New Orleans in 1783. Tremé owned only a small portion of the area that bore his name and was in possession of it for just a decade.

  • Perfect one bedroom for a weekend getaway. The space is private and cozy, and conveniently located. Not knowing the area, we used Uber the first few days, only to realize some places we could have actually walked and seen some local areas along the way. The kitchen was stocked with water and coffee, and everything was clean.

  • Our stay at Maison de Villa was perfect. Amazing location, great support for check in/out and blocks away from great food, jazz music and all the wonderful opportunities to fully enjoy your stay in New Orleans. We especially liked the noon jazz music from “The Court of Two Sisters“ restaurant connected to the back yard fence. (Great place to eat too!) We make a lot of visits to New Orleans and Maison de Villa just became our favorite and one we are highly recommending to our friends. Perfect place to celebrate your anniversary or special get away!

  • Small hiccup in my accommodation and Sonder went above and beyond necessary to fix the solution and maintained strong communication throughout. Must stay again when I return.

    Charles2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sonder was very cozy and the hosts were hospitable and quick to respond. The location is AMAZING. Steps from Bourbon. This particular location bumps up to The Court of Two Sisters (fantastic restaurant) that plays jazz music daily which you can enjoy from the lovely courtyard. We recommend and will use again!

Ideally situated in a great neighborhood- everyone with a story to tell! An easy walk to tourists spots as well as where the locals like to hang. Brunch spots, a wine bar and music venues all a very brief walk away.
  • Cute little place we had no issues with the neighborhood. Getting an Uber was super easy and pretty close to French Quarter. Walking and taking a stroll towards French Quarter was very nice, definitely enjoyed our time here.

    Melissa2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location. About what was expected for the price

    Phil2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to be close to action (so close to Frenchmen and the French Quarter) but want to feel like a local, this is your place! The apartment is clean and modern but with touches that let you know you are staying in a home with history (just like the rest of the city!). The neighbors are great and say hi as you walk by. The houses in the immediate area are full of personality and charm. Reading the reviews beforehand - and seeing occasional complaints - my only advice is, if you’re not used to city life or older buildings, then you may want a hotel. If you’re looking for a real city vibe then this is the place to stay! Marcus was attentive and accommodating - responsive to any message we sent. I would definitely stay again!

    Jill2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marcus department is impeccable. It has everything you need to spend a few days in New Orleans. The communication was excellent. I would definitely stay there again :)

    Agustin2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a good value, clean, and had the necessities. It was slightly further than expected, yet, we did not need to Uber anywhere. It was great to be able to see some of the neighborhood that was not typical French Quarter, including nearby brunch places.

    Gabby2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The place was super clean and perfect for 2 people. I loved the neighborhood, filled with super cute colorful houses (I'm from California so this was my first time seeing something like this) Check in was easy and Marcus was very responsive. He even came by to check up on us prior to check out. The bed is super comfortable and if it gets too hot inside, air conditioning is provided. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, however, the people living upstairs was a little noisy but wasn't a huge issue. Walgreens and public transportation is just a short walk away - about 6 minutes. Aside from that, will definitely consider staying there again. Thank you!

    Crystal2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for a total of 4 nights, 5 days; Marcus was very accommodating with a later check-out. This location was not walking distance to the French quarter but a $5-7.00 uber will get you there. It is however walking distance to “The Ruby Slipper” breakfast spot, so that was convenient. Everything in the BnB was super clean, we still had brought our own sheets and towels as a precaution but it wasn’t necessary. Would love to stay here again.

    Yva2019-06-10T00:00:00Z

Brand new renovation of a charming Uptown cottage, over 100 years old. Steps from Tipitina's, near Tchoupitoulas and Napoleon Ave. Walking distance from Magazine St. + grocery stores, coffee shops, and breweries. This private apartment features original hardwood floors, brand new appliances throughout, washer / dryer, tiled shower, a king size bed, and a large back porch and yard. The keyless entry front door makes it simple to come and go. Shared back yard
Within two blocks are a brand new brewery, Tipitina's music club, and a major grocery store. Historic Magazine street is 4 blocks away with many award-winning restaurants, shopping, bars, coffee shops and first class people watching. Our space is close enough to everything but also allows you to relax in your own place. Fully equipped kitchen, a smart TV, and wifi. Washer and dryer are right in the apartment. My wife and I have spent the last few years renovating this home. It has been a fun process and we revived this house that was built in 1890 (as far back as I could find). We both made New Orleans our home about 20 years ago. We can offer advice about your trip details, or let you do your own thing. We have another space listed here on Airbnb that is very close to this one.
  • Was a great place. Had everything we needed!

    Megan2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great location, walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Convenient street parking directly in front of unit. Although the unit is along a well traveled street, the noise did not keep us up at night. Gregory was very timely in responding to our messages and a great host to have.

    Cuong2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place had everything we needed and the neighborhood was fun and safe to explore. Greg was extremely helpful and quick with responses. The home layout was just as expected and the porch and yard in back are more spacious than I anticipated! I will absolutely recommend this place to others!
