“Make sure to go to the actual museum too! One of the best museums I've been too, and it is free after 5pm on Tuesdays. Go at 4:30pm to get tickets if you do decide to do the free entry.”

“This is the highlight of the downtown parks. It is the reason people forego living near Central Park uptown. Tons of the greenspace, set on the river, with so many activities to choose from. Bring a picnic blanket. Bike along the path. Check out free toys or activities for the kids. Play basketball, outdoor pool, chess, handball, or take the kids to the spacious playground and swing area. There are duck ponds, the Marina, with public restrooms and so much fresh air. ”

“This is a great little spot to take a break and soak up the sun's rays. It's just off the main bustle of Battery Park, so is a lot more relaxing with grass area and tables. There are also public restrooms if you choose to stay for a picnic.”
