Hotel
“Originally destined merely to be the precursor to the upstairs bar, the room has become one the most luxurious in the city, thanks to those gurus of NYC nightlife design, Sean MacPherson and Eric Goode. Here they have created a stylish and elegant space, tastefully appointed, with an abundance of wood panelling, vintage leather, wide Persian rugs and a historic mural. ”

Co-Working Space
“There’s an equestrian theme at this lively restaurant and bar decorated with warm woods and horse silhouettes. It’s elegant but comfortable. Their famed Truffle Old-Fashioned really brings the earthy flavors with white-truffle butter, smoked portobello mushroom cordial, and a shave of truffle to top it off. It's absurdly luxurious and satisfying. After your old-fashioneds, head through the secret back door to Saxon + Parole’s sister agave bar, Ghost Donkey.”

Café
“New York, New York: The city so self-centered, they couldn’t only name it once. Or something like that. Amazingly, Housing Works makes something good out of New Yorkers’ self-indulgence -- its roomy downtown bookstore cafe is run by volunteers, and proceeds go toward ending the AIDS and homelessness crises. If you’re dishing out a few bucks anyway, why not make them count? Peruse their book selection or head straight to the seating area with your own work materials.”
