“At Spata of Attica is one of the largest zoological parks of the Balkans. It hosts the largest collection of birds in the world, a lot of serpents, rare animals of Greece and Africa, all in specially shaped areas that resemble their natural environment. Visit the area where the monkeys wander around free, as well as the area with the dolphins. The park is open daily from morning to sunset.”

History Museum
“The museum was founded in 1986 in order to house the collection of Cycladic and Ancient Greek art belonging to Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris. Starting in the early 1960s, the couple collected Greek antiquities, with special interest in the prehistoric art from the Cyclades islands of the Aegean Sea. The Museum's main building, erected in the centre of Athens in 1985, was designed by the Greek architect Ioannis Vikelas. In 1991, the Museum acquired a new wing, the neo-classical Stathatos Mansion at the corner of Vassilissis Sofias Avenue and Herodotou Street.”

Hotel Bar
“Galaxy Bar is the Hilton’s iconic rooftop bar and offers fantastic city views as well as expertly made cocktails. Throughout the year, the bar is a meeting spot for locals as well as visitors, and the atmosphere is luxurious without being intimidating or pretentious. Drinks are expertly made though on the more costly side for drinks in Athens. Get there to watch the sunset, and then enjoy watching the city at night. Mon - Thu: 5:00 pm - 3:00 am Fri - Sat: 5:00 pm - 4:00 am Sun: 5:00 pm - 3:00 am”

“ It is the largest Gallery of the country and is one of the living cells of the cultural movement in Athens. It consists of 117 paintings, recorded in 1878. The Gallery was then enriched by private collections donated by many Greek painters and collectors such as Al. Soutzos and Koutlidis. Do not miss to see: "The Kissing" by N.Lytra, "The Engagement" by N.Gyzi, "The Concert of the Angels" by Dom. Theotokopoulos, "The Deeproix's Greek Kavalaris".”

Science Museum
“The Goulandris Natural History Museum was founded in 1965 by Angelos and Niki Goulandris in order to promote the interest for natural sciences and it is housed at a beautiful building at the area of Kifissia. From its foundation until the present days it is a model for creating an awareness to the public and protecting –mainly– endangered species. So, if you are excited by the world of plants and animals, a visit here is necessary. It possesses exhibition areas that deal with Botany, Entomology, Hydrobiology, Geology, Herpetology, Ornithology and Paleontology. It is worth noting that the first exhibition areas of the museum (biology of plants) have been designed by the British Museum of Natural History. The museum possesses one of the best educational departments with excellent activities, and a wonderful garden with many trees, bushes and a great variety of plants. Among them stands out the very tall Lebanon cedar at the centre of the garden. Furthermore, here is the café Ammonites and the Museum Café-Restaurant where you can enjoy cool beverages, your coffee or cold dishes and snacks.”
