Zoo
“So this place is one of the best things you can do in Myrtle Beach. Not only do you get 2 separate days to visit for the price of one ticket (make sure to ask at the counter when you first pay), but you also get a free wine tasting at Duplin winery which is attached, for each visit. It's a win-win. There are gator feeding shows and times when kids can actually pet snakes, gators, turtles, etc. It's definitely the best place to go. Just be careful if you go on a really hot day, because it's all outdoors and it's a lot of walking.”

Point of Interest
“There is a grill attached to the pier. They have all the usual bar food and drinks. Their hot wings and nachos are good. If you like cocktails, they have a tasty orange creamsicle cocktail. If you are on the beach and don't want to leave the sunshine, you can order and pick up. You can also walk in with your beach attire and get served. You can also sit oceanfront on their deck to eat which is nice in the spring. They also have a walk up window for ice cream. You can pay a small fee and walk the length of the pier. We have taken some great photos out there at the end of the pier. ”

“The Flying Fish restaurant is only a couple minutes driving from the cottage at Barefoot Landing. You may sit outside right on the creek and enjoy fresh caught fish on a daily changing fish menu. This fish restaurant is not cheap, but definitely worth every penny.”
