The 3-mile path around the lake (just one block from house) provides a perfect recreational spot for walking, jogging, biking, and skating.”

Park
“The BEST dog park ever! Complete with a large field, trails, beach front, and a designated small/shy dog area. Our dogs always have a blast when we take them here, and they love when we make a stop by the Seattle Barkery Treat Truck on our way out. (I know the link is to the regular park, for some reason I couldn't get the Off-Leash park link to work. They are in the same area)”

Mexican Restaurant
“Nice little Mexican(ish) place right down Eastlake Ave. Fantastic outdoor area overlooking the water (closes off around 9pm though if memory serves) and comfortable interior. We've found service to be spotty at times outside and in the main dining area, so plan accordingly, but our last couple visits were good. To guarantee great service or quick in/out we suggest the bar area, which has never failed us. Highly recommended with just those few minor caveats. Great place to get a unique Seattle experience along the water.”
