“A relaxed restaurant In the heart of Historic Old Town Occoquan. Unique meals made from scratch. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available. In warm weather, the outdoor patio is a wonderful venue.”

“If the weather is nice and you can find a seat outside on the balcony, the view is hard to beat. They have great food but the draw is sitting outside on the patio and enjoying a view of the river.”

History Museum
“It is small but packed with information. Displayed everyday items from the area and era. Docent was welcoming and helpful. Quite a collection of stuff about the town of Occoquan, and some real oddities. Take you about 5 - 15 minutes, so you can combine this visit with the newly opened park next door or with some shopping.”

“Occoquan store has fresh pies and amazing baked goods. Using locally grown fruit people travel from near and far to have a taste! They also have a great selection of wines and beer. Wine, beer, groceries, coffees, candies, fishing bait. Mom's Apple Pie Company was featured in Southern Living's The South's Best Pies, as well as in Country Living Magazine. Tea Room

“I love this very cute tea café where woman and girls could congregate. Some costumes are available at the front and you can pretend that you are invited by the Queen of England. When you order a tea set, it comes with some finger food which fills you up as lunch. It only open on weekends and reservation is recommended. Saturday: 11:00 am- 4:00 pm; Sunday: 12:30 pm -4:00 pm”

“Historic Occoquan is a community rich in history and consists of residents, artists, shops and restaurants. The Mill House Museum is all that is left of the Merchant's Mill which was destroyed in the great fire of 1924. Stop in and see the history of the area.”

“The owner Omar is very friendly and knowledgable about chocolates and candies. He actually makes his fudge and chocolates from cao cao beans! Seriously, who does that these days? But it is always a delicious treat to visit him.”
