  • We cannot say enough about our fabulous stay! Darren and Lisa have put together a cozy, well-equipped sanctuary. The pictures don't do it justice (especially the beautiful, private outdoor space & hot tub). It was a perfect escape after a day of travel and wineries, we only wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night! The evening treats and morning breakfast both exceeded our expectations - it is beyond anything you have had at a restaurant, I guarantee that. Darren and Lisa went above and beyond to provide a comfortable, relaxing stay. We will definitely be back!

  • My husband and I absolutely loved our one night stay at Darren and Lisa's guesthouse. Beautiful setting, super comfy and spacious and a great yummy healthy breakfast! The location is wonderful and within walking distance for everything that you need. The extra special touches and treats from Darren and Lisa during our stay were such a spoil....loved the pooping chocolate strawberry machine ;) We were so sorry we only had one night there and we will most definitely be back! I highly recommend this guesthouse. Sylvia and Alan

  • Darren's place was amazing, it had an awesome deck with a hot tub that was great for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine. In the evenings little Elves brought amazing treats and you can tell Darren and Lisa went over and above! Both breakfasts we had were amazing and my wife and I couldn't have enjoyed our time there more!

    Tyler2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • I loved the fresh flowers, the chocolates, Perrier and bottle of wine that were in the room waiting for us. I also loved that the windows open for fresh air, the outside seating area, hottub and going to sleep to the sounds of the stream outside. And a very quiet neighbor hood on top of it all, no voices, no cars, no dogs barking, just lovely. The breakfast was amazing especially the pancakes and fresh fruit. Fantastic experience. Oh yeah, Netflix and WiFi too. Don't miss this place.

    judy2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • The suite is just lovely, very well appointed and spotlessly clean, a true home away from home. Their location is just perfect for enjoying Naramata and the wineries along that bench and on into Penticton too. We enjoy biking and the Kettle Valley trail is just a very short distance away. The outside deck is very private and catches a view of Oakanagan Lake in the distance. Breakfast is beyond a delight and lots of wholesome options. The hosts ensure everything is taken care of and its vey evident they are invested in what they do, ultimately ensuring your stay is a perfect one.

    Dave2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We appreciated the lovely views, the peace and quiet, clean and well-appointed room.

    Julie 2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • D + L were the best hosts! Their place is beautiful, has everything you'd need to stay for a while (even a bbq, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen). We wished we'd had more time to enjoy it! The private patio and hot tub was great. As were the grounds and creek running along the back. So many thoughtful little touches and an incredible breakfast too!

    Rishelle2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you D & L for an amazing stay & for being such thoughtful hosts. This is exactly what my daughter & I needed for our quality time get away. Quiet with only the sound of the creek, relaxing in the hot tub after enjoying a bbq & wine from the local wineries, & a comfortable sleep. Every detail did not go unnoticed! The wine, after dinner delight & breakfast was a welcoming surprise & a delight for both of us. I look forward to visiting you again.

    Naramata Creek Guesthouse
    25 reviews
Welcome! We offer our guests a separate 600 sq. ft. suite and west facing deck in our rural residence. It's a perfect location to access the amenities of the South Okanagan: touring the wineries (over 35 in area); hiking/biking (the famous KVR trail is nearby); and Okanagan lake and beaches are within walking distance.
Your 600 sq.ft. air conditioned and self-contained suite consists of large living area, bedroom, bathroom and a deck. There is wi-fi throughout the suite and information on local attractions. The living room is bright and airy with a large sofa, coffee table, chaise lounge, breakfast table/workspace, wardrobe, refrigerator, espresso maker and kettle. Coffee and tea are complimentary and the fridge is stocked with bottles of pure water and juice and continental breakfast items. The bedroom features a queen size sleigh bed with ObusForme mattress - super comfortable! The bathroom has a double head shower/bath. A hairdryer is provided. The deck faces west and has patio furniture to enjoy breakfast or those wonderful Okanagan sunset and lake views over a glass of wine.
Naramata is a sleepy village 20 minutes outside Penticton, BC. It is surrounded by wineries and orchards. The landscape is like Tuscany without the romantic houses but with decent plumbing. The village sits on Lake Okanagan with nice beaches, a beautiful park and boat access. It has a hotel, coffee shop, pizza restaurant, pub and a store that sells take-out food. You can rent paddleboards, bikes and kayaks and there is a beautiful clothes store that sells all over the world. The house is located just outside the village (3 minutes by car) and is within walking distance to 4 wineries and a craft distillery. If you like hiking there are several good trails nearby, including the famous Kettle Valley Railway Trail just up the hill. Even walking the local roads is interesting with much to see. For cyclists, the KVR Trail and Naramata Road from Penticton provide a good workout. The wineries are of course the highlight of the Naramata area, with over 25 open for tasting, each with its own story. In addition to tastings, many of the wineries offer great food.
  • We had a great 2 night stay at Arleigh's place. The suite was immaculately clean, comfortable, and as pictured. The baking for breakfast was fantastic! We really appreciated the nice coffee and stocked fridge. We loved being able to walk to some wineries from the house as well (our favourite was Elephant Island). Naramata itself is a great spot with nice places to eat within walking distance from the house too. Everything about this trip was really easy! Thank you!

    Rebecca2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Arleigh's place was a great experience - she went above and beyond with fresh daily baking, local suggestions, and just making us feel welcome. We loved our stay and will be back in the future!

    Fiona2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house is gorgeous and the suite is so cute and very spacious. It's very clean and in a beautiful neighbourhood. Arleigh and Roger were so friendly and put in so much extra effort to make sure our stay was impeccable. Delicious breakfasts, great private balcony with an incredible view and incredibly hospitable hosts. The distillery down the street was great! Stay here. You'll love it.

    Craig2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Arleigh's place was one of the best AirBnB experiences we have had. She makes check in and check out smooth, the suite is immaculate, and the breakfasts are delicious. The location is perfect for cycling the KVR or for touring nearby wineries. Even if you didn't have access to a car or bicycle, there are a handful of wineries within a 15-20 minute walk. Thanks again Arleigh!

    Brett2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality Arleigh. You're a true superhost who goes above and beyond. We really enjoyed staying in your home which is peaceful, perfect for relaxing and going for a trip nearby to the waterfall or to the KVR trail. The breakfast was delicious and we got to know the unique taste of rhubarb. And last but not least, your dogs are so lovely. We'll definitely return if we have the chance in the next years.

    Zsolt2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, welcoming caring hosts. Very private , cozy, well stocked apartment everything you could want. Excellent place to stay.

    Jessie2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a great stay! I normally stay in places with my own private entry, because I prefer not to be in someone else's space, but Arleigh and Roger were so welcoming, it made for a much warmer experience. It was also a much more traditional BnB experience in that there was also an, "nB," as well as just the usual, "B." Delicious coffee and pastries every morning! It's a very comfortable suite, with a lovely outdoor deck. I'll be back.

    Edward2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Arleigh was delightful! Amazing homemade baking and a great host. I would strongly recommend staying here. The view from the balcony is also pretty awesome! :) THANKS!

Welcome to the Cog Suite! THE place to be on the Naramata bench, newly opened in 2017, with you in mind. Primo location, with a 2-10 minute walk to 6 tasting rooms. Fresh hip decor with an industrial farm theme. Prime lake and vineyard views. Huge rooms, private entry, patio, BBQ and kitchenette. All you need for a fabulous experience on the Bench. Coming with friends? Book them into the Wheel Suite.
  • Julie's "Cog Suite" was a fantastic place for us to stay for a couple of days during our recent Okanagan vacation. Nestled in the heart of the Naramata wine country, you won't find a better location to stay at while taking some time to tour the wineries and eateries of the area. The beach in Naramata is also a short drive away for a side trip to enjoy the sand and some swimming. Julie's artistic flair can be seen as soon as you walk into the suite. She has decorated the interior in a comfortably stylish way; with a designer's eye for detail and with her artist's talent displayed on the walls in the form of her own paintings. The feeling you get is casual and inviting, yet tasteful and well organized. It's a great space to unwind and relax, and to enjoy a nice glass of wine while gazing across the rolling green vineyards at the fantastic view of Okanagan lake and the mountains. We have no hesitation in recommending the Cog Suite if you're looking for something stylish and comfortable with beautiful outdoor surroundings. We plan on being in the region again in the future, and we would certainly stay at Julie's place the next time.

    Matt2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed there for our anniversary and we had a 5-star experience! The place was very tastefully decorated and the view was stunning. Everything from the bed and the bedding, to the fluffy towels and fresh cut flowers made our weekend special and comfortable. Julie has clearly put a lot of thought into it. We slept very well and had an amazing time. Julie was very friendly and responsive, and definitely a superhost. We will definitely stay there again.

    Daniel2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Julies place is everything one would expect from Naramata and more. The suite is beautifully built. The decor, furniture and layout instantly make you feel relaxed and welcomed. From the comfortable bed you are greeted with a fabulous view of vineyards sloping down into the lake. The outdoor space is stunning as well. Julie and her family were great hosts and were fast to answer any questions we had. My husband and I enjoy cooking and the suite was equipped with everything we needed. Truly a luxurious little gem. I would recommend it.

    Kristy2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was our first stay with Airbnb and wow was it nice! Julie's place was better than the pictures and very nice. Great location too! We had a great time in the. Naramata area. We highly recommend Julie's place.

    Larry2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Julie was a wonderful host and the location is superb. Julie was very attentive and even brought salt over from her place when we couldn't find any in the guest suite! Be aware that due to the wood construction of the house, you can hear people moving around. Julie does provide a fan to provide white noise to block this out, but just be aware that then you have white noise - one or the other. We did not find this to be an issue at all - the place is fairly quiet for what we are used to, but this might vary person to person. Location was so good we walked to most wineries for tastings, and Julie was also great to talk to and provided honest opinions about the local wineries. Have a pizza and a bottle of wine on the grass at Joie, if you can.

    Judit2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely suite and a great location on the Naramata Bench. Beautiful view, quiet, very clean, comfortable bed and nicely detailed. Several great wineries and a good restaurant (Urtica) within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. We hope to come back next year.

    Don2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • We rented The Cog and The Wheel suites for the weekend. We were meeting friends so it was a perfect set up for 2 couples. The suites are so beautiful designed and decorated. We had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and the views of the vineyards literally right across the road were breathtaking. The location couldn't be better - walking distance to wineries and view points. Julie was so helpful and warm - we can't wait to go back!

    Doug & Fiona2017-06-18T00:00:00Z

  • Thank you Delaney, Laurie & family for the wonderful stay in your peaceful apple orchard. We enjoyed it very much. Jonas & Hildegard

  • We love the view at the farmhouse and thought it was a good size for a family, however we were disappointed to smell cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in. The previous owners had smoked and it's been soaking into the walls for years. It had been painted, but that didn't make much difference. On the listing there was a washing machine, but we were told it had just broken and that we could use the sink and dryer, (for 4 people?'!) and her father told us to go to town to do laundry. This was the second week of our trip with 2 small kids and we needed the washing machine. We rented the place expecting it when we got there. They weren't apologetic and instead asked what we thought they had a washing machine. It was clearly advertised! This was rediculous! We found the owners also very stingy with toilet paper as they only gave us two rolls to begin with, and when we asked for more they only gave one more roll!!!! (For 4 people for 5 days!) no boxes of tissues around either. Over all a nice spot but lacking in emenities and not recommended with kids. We won't be returning.

    Clover2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage just as advertised. We were made to feel very welcome. Lots of supplies and fresh muffins and orange juice on arrival. Spotless. Great Hosts who wanted to do everything to make our visit go well. Highly recommended

  • Just what the doctor ordered at the Apple Farm House! Me and two friends visiting from overseas were looking for a quiet getaway where we could walk, cooks, eat, swim, etc and not need to spend lot of time in the car. The deck and view are fantastic. One of our gang loves bbqing so was extra happy to see he could indulge. The place was spotless and well put together. We were able to walk to Naramata in about 20 minutes and had a lovely dinner up the road 5 minutes at the Legends Gin place. Walked down the road for our bottle to go with dinner and we only went into Penticton once in 6 nights to get groceries. Thanks again for a lovely stay!!! Oh, beds comfy - bring a sleep mask though as the sun comes through the windows first thing. Great value and holiday.I hope we can come again next year!!

  • Really nice, quiet place for a stay in Naramata. We were attending a wedding close by this place met our needs. Delaney is an excellent hostess and even had some fresh fruit standing by for our arrival.

    Ian2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We just spent a wonderful week at the farmhouse and absolutely loved everything about the house. It was in a perfect location in Naramata, with beautiful views off the deck and from the kitchen window. Every room was clean and bright and the kitchen had everything we needed. Delaney and Laurie were wonderful hosts - welcoming us with delicious muffins and orange juice on the first day and bringing a big box of fresh apricots the next day. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Naramata. We highly recommend it!

    Carmen2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The farmhouse was a beautiful place to stay. The views were magnificent--the deck overlooks apple orchard and vineyards. The deck is a big feature of this place. You could spend morning, noon and night on it. Just gorgeous. The house itself was very clean and thoughtfully organized. Everything was there--tv, stereo, hdmi cable, diswasher, washer/dryer. Laurie and Delaney were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to messages. I will be back!

    Barbara2016-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Delaney and Laurie took great care of us - a warm welcome and extremely helpful. The farm house is awesome too - totally renovated and stunning view. I'd be happy to move in!

  • I am a bit at a loss for word. We were honored to be Millie and Jason's first guest. They really gave us the royal treatment, in all honesty out of all the places we have ever stayed, we have never had a more amazing host. The room was huge, beautiful and full of little extra surprises. They treated us with their specialty soda that they make themselves. Thank you so much Millie and Jason. We wish you great success with your B&B, though it shouldn't be difficult with all that you and your place has to offer, we hope to be coming back in the near future. I will be recommending our stay to all of our friends. Cheers Nik&Mark

    nik2016-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Initially, my texts returned undelivered from the Airbnb site. We worked together with our hosts communicating, and as we were in transit they sent me their local numbers. Thus we were able to communicate when we arrived and if there was anything we needed.

    Donna2016-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This little getaway is right in the middle of Naramata Bench. The space is bright and clean and big. The little distillery down the street serves amazing food in their restaurant. Jason and Millie are lovely hosts and we enjoyed the benefit of being there while the cherries on their numerous cherry trees were ripe. The pool was a really nice touch in the heat. We had a lovely time.

    Gina2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Jason & Millie's. They both greeted us upon arrival, gave us the "grand tour" of our accommodations, and provided great recommendations for the area. The amenities they provided were very thoughtful and their craft sodas were delicious. The space was really, really comfortable, I don't think we could have done any better. The bed was big and comfy and the living room area was a great place to relax in the evenings. The location is perfect if you're planning to wine taste on the Naramata Bench, or surrounding area. The Okanogan Valley is so picturesque that we didn't mind making the drive to Oliver. We would definitely stay with Jason & Millie again.

    Evelynne2016-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying at Jason & Millie's place, they were very accommodating. Their place is very nice and relaxing and was a great starting point for taking in many Winery tours which was the main point of our trip out to Naramata. We plan to return to the area in the future as Naramata is defiantly a place you can vacation at many times, and we hope to stay at their place again.

    Jason2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, comfortable and cozy in a beautiful location. We got a real home away from home sense. Jason and Millie were more than accommodating and kind-leaving their homemade wine and soda for us to enjoy! We would definitely go back!

    Nicole2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place is totally charming, we love the suit. Millie and Jason were very kind and responsive. Their home is a perfect place in the heart of the beautiful Naramata Bench.

  • We enjoyed our stay. It was clean, well appointed, great hot water, air conditioning and heat as required. Highly recommend. Jacqueline was great.

  • This was an awesome quiet get away! Central to all of the Naramata wineries, Amazing Cycling both Road and Mountain. A beautiful quiet yard and patio to come home to. Jacqueline was an excellent host full of great information and very helpful!

    Pamela2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed Naramata and our stay with Jacqueline and look forward to returning sometime soon. Naramata has beautiful scenery, is winery dense and has plenty of outdoors and lake activities near at hand. We really enjoyed cycling the KVR and stopping at wineries along the way. Jacqueline was a great host and her guest house was very clean, well appointed and suited our requirements very well. It is exactly as described and had everything we needed. Jacqueline was available at an instant for anything we required and was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do and visit. We enjoyed our private evenings around the wood burning fire pit, capped with some hot tubbing. The only unfortunate thing is that due to the privacy provided by the mostly tree lined property it doesn't offer the spectacular views that parts of Naramata has to offer. In addition, we were only mildly aware of the children a couple of times. While the yard, as pictured, and the hot tub seemed to be available to us alone during our stay. We would return without hesitation.

  • Jacqueline's place was very nice, very private and well equipped with everything we needed. She was a perfect host, very respectful and always accessible if we needed information. The surroundings were wonderful, lots of wineries, fruits and beautiful sceneries. We would go back anytime and we highly recommend her place. We enjoyed the backyard, the spa and the privacy. Quel beau séjour nous avons eu. A recommander.

  • Jacqueline was a welcoming hostess and her place was great. Her daughter and son gifted my husband and me a lovely bouquet from her garden, adding just the right touch of beauty and fragrance to our airbnb!! She graciously assisted me with copying and scanning some business documents during our week-long stay. We had a fabulous time exploring the Naramata Bench, above the Okanagan Valley, and plan to return, perhaps in the fall. Next time we will invite friends to share in this delectable experience! After hiking and/or biking each day, we would visit several wineries, followed by dining outside in either gardens or patios with views of the spectacular Okanagan Lake! We were delighted to relax in the hot tub, late each evening, prior to sharing a glass of wine and calling it a day. The Okanagan valley is a magical place and we would highly recommend staying with Jacqueline.

    Victoria2016-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jaqueline's suite is a perfect Naramata gem. It is located in a quiet but beautiful neighborhood and our host was great. Everything was as advertised and very well cared for. I would highly recommend this host and property. We had a great time!

Light airy garden suite in beautiful wine country. Private yard and patio space great for family adventures in Naramata and the Okanagan valley. The suite is fully furnished with private entry.
Amazing view of the lake from your fenced patio. Beautiful raised deck with a rogue peach tree poking over the fence. Covered patio right out side your front door with seating and a BBQ. Beach amenities can be provided on request. There is a small kitchenette as well. We do live in the house and we are working on sound proofing as we go.
We live at the end of a dead end road in a quiet neighborhood. We are also located between two creeks! Walking distance to a number of wineries and hiking trails.
  • Stephanie and Ken's place is amazing; the beds are super comfortable, the patio with the BBQ is perfect to chill out, the kitchen was very well equipped and the homemade bread & granolas with the local wine and apple juice are just the magic touch that made our time in Naramata unforgettable. I highly recommend their place and will be back at some point for sure.

    Sophie2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie and her family are excellent hosts and we had a wonderful visit to Naramata! The location is perfect for cycling to wineries and has an amazing view. Beautiful sunsets! The apartment is nicely furnished with very comfortable beds (good mattresses!). It is on the lower level but gets plenty of light. There are good light-blocking curtains in the bedrooms and the apartment stays cool. The kitchen is not a full kitchen, with two burners and a toaster oven instead of an oven/stove, but it was great for making breakfast/lunch and we used the large BBQ for dinner, eating outside most evenings. Stephanie very kindly stocked the kitchen with juice, homemade yogurt, jam, tea, coffee, granola, a bottle of wine, and delicious homemade bread! Stephanie and her family were very friendly, helpful, kind, and generous, and we had a wonderful time in Naramata!

  • The apartment was clean and comfortable, in a great location and with a great private patio for a BBQ. Stephanie was a fantastic host- adding personal touches to make our stay even more comfortable, and also offering local tips and recommendations. Would happily recommend this place to others.

  • My family and I had a great time here. It was close to a nice little beach and a lovely waterfall hike just steps away. Penticton was a short 20 min drive away past numerous wineries and views of the lake and vineyards. The suite was perfect for us. Nicely decorated and clean and very comfortable beds with many personal touches added by the host.

    Rebecca2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Stephanie's place. The location was perfect and very central to all the wineries. The inside felt like a beach vacation home with all the decor and simple touches. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

  • We had a lovely time staying at Stephanie's place on the Naramata Bench - their house was close to hiking trails (Naramata Falls) and wineries - perfect for going on a biking tour! The property was tastefully decorated with all of our needs exceeded (fresh bread, yogurt and coffee, with a bottle of celebratory wine chilled in the fridge!) Although her family was extremely respectful of our space and very quiet, there was little insulation between floors and at times it seemed as if someone was actually speaking within our suite. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen utensils were fully stocked and the outdoor space was beautiful (especially the deck at sunset). We definitely recommend staying here!

    Pamela2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's place was amazing. The views were so picturesque. She was so welcoming and provided granola, bread, yogurt and delicious juice. The suite was modern and was very quiet. We sat and had breakfast outside. It was very close to the wineries we went to in the region and we can't wait to go back!

  • We truly loved our stay at the Singing Marmot B&B. It is in a wonderful location, has an amazing view of the town of Naramata and the Okanagan Lake, very modern and comfortable. We were very happy with the continental breakfast items provided, especially the homemade muffins and jams! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend this spot to friends and family. Thank you so much Steve and Susan for everything!

  • Amazing place with amazing hosts. All new and super clean unit looking out onto a spectacular view of the lake! On arrival we were greated warmly and made to feel at home. The place is spacious and well equipped, with a dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge/freezer and microwave on hand. Fresh home made baked goods and jams complemented the supplied ground coffee and granola and the extra touch of milk and cream in the fridge! All the cutlery and dishes you need are provided and a gas BBQ to use really made the experience that much better. Well placed in the heart of some of the best vineyards in the more relaxed area of the Okanagan. We would definitely come back!

  • Beautiful location situated on the mountain with a magnificent view of Okanagen lake. Wineries on your doorstep. Very comfortable bed and essential air conditioning always on. Kitchen has most of the necessities with microwave, toaster oven and BBQ on the deck, there is however no hot plate or range. The KVR trail is literally 10 feet from the front door which is lovely for a morning walk or you can use the bikes provided. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

    Georgia2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved staying at Singing Marmot, the views and hospitality cannot be beat! Steve and Susan were gracious hosts and gave us great advice about the area. The suite was very clean, well stocked and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony! Definitely bring your bicycles as the KVR is just behind the house and well worth exploring. We would definitely recommend staying here!

  • Had a wonderful stay! Susan and Steve are very welcoming and informative. The suite has stunning views of the lake and is well equipped for eating in or BBQ on the deck. Many, many vineyards nearby. Property is located immediatly adjacent the KVR trail. Major shopping in Penticton 15 minutes away. Highly recommended!

  • We can't say enough about the Singing Marmot. Susan and Steve are the best hosts ever. Our stay was perfect from check in, to Steve's homemade muffins, to the perfect location, and of course the spectacular view. There is absolutely nothing we would change. We will definitely be back next year.

    Susan 2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is truly beautiful accommodation. The view is incredible, especially to enjoy it from such a panoramic balcony. The muffins and peaches were a special touch. And we appreciated being able to use the bikes. We had no complaints whatsoever. We would certainly recommend it to friends.

    John2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay, and the lovely fresh muffins each morning! Just to note, the sky suite is adjacent to Steve and Susan's own suite, and does share a wall and deck. We were a little nervous about being too noisy, and made an extra effort to stay quiet. The location was perfect for our purposes, close to Naramata village and also to many wineries. We weren't there to take advantage of the recreational activities, but we were offered use of their bikes, and the KVR trail is just steps away.

  • Steve and Susan were wonderful hosts; they made us feel very at home. They had a beautiful basket laid in the kitchen with fresh bread, muffins and two types of jam. The suite shows better in person and the view of the okanagan was stunning. They are located within close proximity to many wineries. We had a special request and they were eager to accommodate us. We had access to the barbeque and there are plenty of plates and utensils if you choose to cook your own meal and enjoy it at the outdoor table as we did. The KVR Trail is right at their back door so we rented some bikes and biked to the tunnel and back. Steve and Susan were very warm and welcoming and you could tell that it was important to them that we enjoyed our stay while we were there. We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with them.

  • This modern, clean and spacious unit has a stunning view of Lake Okanogan. It was such a treat for us to stay in such a relaxing, well-equipped place just minutes from world-class wineries, restaurants and breath-taking scenery. An added bonus for us was renting bikes in nearby Naramata and biking the KVR trail just metres behind this 5 star unit. Susan and Steve were friendly and gracious hosts, available for a friendly chat or whenever we needed them. We would definitely recommend this beautiful get-a-way for anyone who is looking for a restful and rejuvenating sanctuary. It was also lovely to have air-conditioning after returning from a bike ride! We are so thankful to have found this Airbnb!

  • We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while we were in the Okanagan. The guest suite was perfect and as described, with a view that a description couldn't do justice. Steve and Susan were fantastic hosts, we loved the breakfast provided to us each morning. We highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

Our Naramata Bench home is very private and secluded away from town, and you'll enjoy the ground floor of our home all to yourself (we live upstairs). The private entrance, quiet comfortable guest room, private washroom, sun room (with a few morning staples, including coffee, tea, our own orchard pressed apple juice) and a seating area outside, perfect for an evening glass of wine. You'll also have a TV room and if it's chilly, we'll build a cozy wood fire.
Our home is located on a working 5 acre apple orchard - depending on the season, you might be able to witness the stunning apple blossoms in bloom, the start of the apples growing, and as summer comes to an end, the giant juicy apples ready to be picked. The suite has a private entrance, a lovely comfortable seating area outside, and plenty of places in the orchard to walk and enjoy the quiet and stunning views of the Naramata Bench. After a long day wine touring, this is a perfect retreat to come back to, to relax and enjoy a glass of your locally produced wine! Sun Room: The suite enters into the sun room. While we don't provide a full kitchen, but we do provide a few staples and amenities for you to prepare snacks and have a bite to eat before heading out for your day. Here you'll find a mini-fridge, microwave, a Keurig machine (with pods for convenience, and we also provide local coffee along with a grinder, which can be used in the reusable pods), a kettle with selection of tea, variety of wine glasses and dishes, toaster, and cheese boards/knives. We will stock the kitchenette for when you arrive with yogurt, a bowl of seasonal fruit, a loaf of bread with jam/peanut butter, a box of our own orchard pressed apple juice, tea/coffee (including local Summerland-roasted Backyard Beans coffee), a jar of housemade granola, and a carton of milk - enough to tide you over in the mornings. Guest room: The guest room has a very comfortable queen sized bed, a dresser and closet for you to unpack in if you wish, and an electric fireplace. TV Room: Beside your room is a tv room (with satellite TV) - feel free to make yourself comfortable. If the weather is chilly, our entire home is primarily heated by the wood stove located in the TV room, so tending to the fire is the only time we will come down to this floor when we have guests. (Please note that in fall/winter/spring, it might be quite warm in the guest room due to the wood fire, but feel free to keep the bedroom doors shut if you don't want the room as warm). As warm air rises, the suite must be quite warm to heat the rest of the house. Outside: the guest suite has its own seating area for your exclusive use. We hope you'll make yourself comfortable and enjoy a glass of wine and the sunset from this area!
We are surrounded by some of the country's finest wineries -- Bella Vineyards (BC's only winery making exclusively sparkling wine) is our neighbour, and you'll drive past over 30 wineries on your scenic drive to our home. Several of the wineries have restaurants (Lake Breeze, Hillside, Poplar Grove, Legend Distilling), and Naramata also has a great local pub, pizza place, and restaurant at the Naramata Heritage Inn.
  • Amanda and Bernard are excellent hosts who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. They are friendly and communicative and we spent a pleasant evening chatting over cider and cheese. The property is beautifully relaxing whilst being in the heart of the wine district. The bedding was comfortable as was the entire accommodation. The "minimal" breakfast supplies were more than adequate, in particular we loved the orchards own apple juice. The air con. made the inside comfortable on a couple of very hot evenings and as the temperature dropped the outdoor setting was perfect. We lacked nothing and we were absolutely comfortable for our stay here.

  • Amanda and Bernard are hands down the best hosts I've ever had (I've been using airbnb since 2014). Adorable family and dog with an incredible orchard. They treated us like old friends and made us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed hanging out with them on the patio and trying all of their favorite wineries and restaurants. The suite was clean, bright, comfortable, well-furnished and well-stocked with local snacks and drinks. Thanks for a wonderful stay, especially for the extra day in Naramata!

    Kim2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda and Bernard's place overlooking the Okanagan Lake was perfect for a little getaway. The fridge was stacked with fresh peaches, yoghurt and their home made juice and my partner really appreciated a proper coffee machine :-) The drive down to Naramata only takes 4 minutes so you can even walk it if it's not too warm out. Amanda and Bernard were very friendly hosts and always made sure we had everything we needed.

    Franzy2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay. Left us fresh bread and granola and some apple juice. Left us good notes of the area. The space was nice and had great views. As they say in the ad the kids can be a bit noisy, but nothing worse than mine at home!

    Dylan2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda and Bernard's home is a lovely oasis above the Okanagan lake on a beautiful orchard. If you want to visit the many wineries on the Naramata Bench this is an ideal spot. A very clean and comfortable suite with everything you could want or need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

The suite is nicely laid out, very comfortable bed, lovely furnishings. We particularly enjoyed the provided drinks and snacks and enjoying them on the outside loveseat overlooking the orchards and lake. We would definitely stay here again!

A relaxing Naramata retreat that boasts everything the Naramata bench has to offer. Surrounded by amazing world class wineries, beautiful ponderosa pines, and breathtaking sunsets over the mountains. The home is an award winning architectural gem designed by local architect Florian Maurer. The unique design allows for privacy for guests and stunning views of Okanagan lake.
The home is an architectural gem known as the Maurer House. Designed and built by local architect Florian Maurer, the Maurer house has won several awards for design and architecture including the Governor General’s Medal for Architecture. To protect the natural environment surrounding the house and decrease the ecological impact, Mr. Maurer designed a home by building only what was needed, with less material, minimal overall space, and more area of natural landscape. No tree was cut and no rock was blasted. Placement of the buildings, roof overhangs, existing mature Ponderosa pine trees, high performance glazing, and tile flooring, decrease the increase of temperature in the summer, eliminating the need for air conditioning. Instead, the house is equipped with a geothermal heating and cooling system. For energy, the house boasts solar panels on the roof of the studio and garage. These combined, bring the house to at or near Net Zero energy consumption. Want to learn more about the Maurer House? Check out the photos on Houzz or the video on Vimeo.
The village of Naramata is very quaint. Be sure to check out The Grape Leaf for breakfast or lunch, Real Things Pizza for supper, or stop by at the local pub. The Naramata Store has all your essentials. The region is known for its wine. Be sure to check out at least one winery while in the area (even in the winter time).
  • This place is great! Very stylish and comfortable. The deck was amazing. Rebecca was great to deal with and was very responsive. We had an excellent stay and hope to visit again.

  • Julie's place makes the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city living. It was exactly what I was looking for and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to stay there. Located within walking distance from multiple wineries, it was an idyllic vacation spot.

    Leah2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Julie and her AirBnB were phenomenal hosts! The pictures do not do it justice. It is so well decorated and elegant. The C&W is situated right 2 minutes walk away from some of the best wineries in Naramata (Deep Roots, Joie, and Van Westin). Julie's wine tour recommendations were top notch and was quick to answer any of our questions. She even had a bottle of Chardonnay waiting for us at check in. Very classy. Will stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation. You will not be disappointed.

  • This is one of the best "private" accommodations we have ever stayed at. The owners have gone above & beyond to make sure that you will be comfortable for your stay. The accommodation is very private and you definitely feel like you are in a boutique hotel rather than a home. The view is to die for and we could have spent hours on the patio staring off into the distance. Breathtaking. You are surrounded by great restaurants at lovely wineries and its really very romantic. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely spot. Cheers to the owners, a job well done. Sharon & Gary Vancouver, BC

  • Beautiful space. I enjoyed the 1920s-outdoor-pool-themed bathroom decor! And the patio is lovely to sit out with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Julie had a bottle of a local Chardonnay and some flowers in the apartment to welcome us on arrival.

    Carrie2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Julie's space didn't exceed expectations only because the friends who referred her had already given glowing reviews! Her place did not disappoint--amazing view of Okanagan Lake, the most comfortable bed, gorgeous decor and surroundings. We could not have been happier with our stay...unless it could have been a bit longer! And don't get me started on the amazing art work (Julie's own work--spectacular) We will be back!

  • Clean, comfortable, well appointed accommodation in great location. Wonderful, friendly hosts.

    Paul2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place is exactly as pictured, or perhaps better! Oozing with artistic flare, it's a short stroll or drive to the fantastic wineries of the Naramata Bench area. We weren't able to spend time at the lake because of the smoke from surrounding wildfires, but found plenty to do regardless. We hope to return soon!

    Jenna2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • The space is exactly as pictured. Very clean, well decorated, gets a lot of light; a perfect home away from home. Julie, the owner, is incredible attentive and checks in regarding any outstanding needs. Very easy to communicate with and had many suggestions when I had stated it was our first time to the region. The location is great for cycle touring wineries, or even doing a walking tour given it's proximity. Highly recommend, and would certainly return.

  • Gary's place was large, bright and very clean. The pictures posted do not do it justice. However, my experience was disappointing. This was the first leg of a three week Naramata/ Penticton vacation the worse airbnb experience I had. I rented this property because it featured an 0.8 acres guest were free to roam. I was travelling alone with my two children under 5 and it was integral that my oldest with autism be able to run around freely. I was told upon arrival the kids were expected to play on one section of the yard and this was difficult as both my 3 1/2 year old and special needs son cannot understand boundaries that are not physically there. I was reprimanded because my children left this area, forcing me to keep them in the house, which led to difficult behaviour or me being out in the yard supervising which did not give me the breaks I needed. The hosts also left expensive, heron statues at our private entrance that my autistic son bent and they were very angry about this because I was told the children were not to touch them. I was also reprimanded about this first and the host angrily asked why I was doing laundry, which I believed to be included in the rental as it was not locked or labeled as private and was fully accessible on our side (out of the 4 rentals I arranged for myself and family I had missed this in the posting). I had done a load of towels as with young kids we go through towels quickly, especially given the bathroom floor is laminate. All in all I was not made to feel like a paying guest in a vacation home, but rather a disrespectful tenant. I am a 47 year old woman who owns my home in North Vancouver and is a landlord myself and I have never been made to feel so unwelcome anywhere. This property is more suited to couples or families with older children. However, I would dissuade families with children under 5 or special needs kids from renting here.

Naramata Courtyard Suites is a funky little place located right in the heart of Naramata Village. We are within walking distance of a restaurant, pub, and a pizza place that has fantastic pizza and two cafe's located right across the road. Manitou Beach is a 10 minute stroll where you can swim, paddle board, boat, have a BBQ or just lounge for the day. There are four other beaches within 5 minutes of us including the old Train Dock where kids and occasional adult love to jump off!
  • Katrina & Doug's motel is a little Gem in Naramata. The room was very clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The hosts were also very quick to respond. I texted Katrina asking for more towels and we had new ones within 5 minutes. We will definitely be staying in Naramata again and Katrina & Doug's place will be our go to.

  • The room was well prepared and within comfortable distance of some amazing sights and well maintained public use areas. Very friendly hosts at a great place to start and end the day.

Conveniently location with a great little coffee shop across the street and store/liquor store down the street. 25 minutes into Penticton and 10 minutes to wine country. Space was exactly how it is in the pictures.....rooms weren't fancy but nice clean and had everything you need. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area!!

Located in the heart of the Naramata Wine Bench! This cozy bungalow suite offers a serene and peaceful surrounding with private entry. Sorry there is no breakfast provided! The unit includes a kitchenette with hot plate, microwave and fridge/freezer for your convenience. It is also wheelchair accessible.
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Mike and Susan's! So nice to be close to the wineries (especially our favourite: Joie!) and we were surprised at how clean and well-stocked the place was. Great experience overall!

  • Susan was very welcoming and provided information about the KVR bike path. Enjoyed a two hour ride and then returned to relax in privacy and comfort. All the small details about their cozy bungalow have been attended to. A perfect place to stay for our short visit to the vineyards and biking of Naramata.

  • I booked this lovely escape for my parent's 35th wedding anniversary. When they got back they couldn't stop raving about how lovely the suite was. They said it was impeccably clean and the hosts were so friendly on arrival. They appreciated how private it was too. Would definitely book again, maybe for myself next time.

The Queen ensuite is one of two bedrooms in a spacious B&B with private, key-less entrance from a covered patio with panoramic view of Lake Okanagan. AC, fireplace, TV, WiFi. A King ensuite is listed separately; combined are ideal for two couples.
Spectacular view! Our B&B is very private and quiet. We can comfortably accommodate four guests in our B&B, two in each bedroom. The King and Queen ensuites are listed separately with their own booking calendars. A perfect setting for two couples.
Friendly, mature neighbourhood on a very quiet street with a beautiful panoramic view of the lake, the mountains and the quaint village of Naramata. Our guests love the tranquility and the beauty of the area.
  • This is a fabulous B+B, with a lovely suite and huge common area, including a patio with a gorgeous view of the lake. The hosts Eva and Philip were very gracious and accommodating. It was a treat to stay here and we hope to come back soon. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice retreat in the Okanagan.

    Cynthia2014-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We were totally satisfied with our experience at Eva's home. Eva was a very attentive host. She explained the property to the full extent needed (even saying that they intend to add a trellis to try and better shade the Queen's Chamber (which we booked) from the afternoon sun. She also advised us that they took extraordinary steps when building the home to ensure that the B&B space was very soundproof. They did a great job as we didn't notice any noise from the other guests or from Eva's residence upstairs. Eva offers a full breakfast for an additional cost but, although the omelet was tasty, we found that the continental breakfast that is included is quite sufficient. Our room was a tight fit (similar to many hotel rooms) but there was a closet and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional - which is always a plus when on vacation. There is additional shared space to flesh out the room size though; so, the size of the room wasn't a problem. The common room is very spacious and includes a full kitchen - although we were only there for two nights and didn't need much more than the fridge to store some of our purchases. The common area was all the more pleasant because the other couple staying at the B&B was visiting from Holland and we had a number of interesting conversations. The view from the patio is every bit as nice as the website shows. We watched two sunsets while relaxing in the warmth of the evening. We're quite familiar with the Naramata Bench and didn't need much in the way of advice on the region but Eva was very helpful to our Dutch housemates and she did have a winery book on the Bench that was so new that I hadn't even seen it before - and I know most of the books out there on BC wine. If you're intending to focus your stay and daily activities on the Bench, the B&B is very well located. The property isn't far from Penticton but you could likely find closer and more bargain orieted accommodation if all of your activities are to be centred in the city. All in all, it was a pleasant introduction to AirBnB. This was our first time using the service and I won't hesitate to use it again - or hesitate to stay with Eva again (and we'll aim to book the King's Chamber).

  • We had a wonderful three days at the Above Naramata B&B. Our hosts, Eva and Phillip were great fun and very attentive but never obtrusive. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

    Allan2014-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • The listing description was accurate. The bed and breakfast was in a beautiful location. It was clean, decorated very tastefully with excellent amenities. The continental breakfast was delicious with a lovely homemade flair! Eva was a wonderful host. She explained the house rules and offered good advice on the attractions in the area. Loved hearing her play the harp - absolutely beautiful! Wish we could have stayed longer!

    Adam2016-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We definitely lucked out in selecting Eva and Philip's B&B. It was spacious, immaculately clean, the view from our suite was incredible, and we didn't want for anything. Eva was a very attentive host and shared great tips with us regarding restaurants, etc. in Naramata. The location of this property is excellent and tucked in amongst some of our favourite wineries while only being a short drive from Penticton.

  • My friend and I stayed here, and truly had an amazing experience. Scott and Linda are tremendous host and the suite is spacious, inviting and has everything you would need!

    Heather2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Scott & Linda's place over May long weekend. The suite was wonderful and very well equipped. It was close to the KVR Trail and Naramata Road, and many wineries! It was very spacious and the view of the patio was great. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

    Nora2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Scott and Linda's place is a wonderful oasis. The unit is exactly as represented in the pictures, perfect for us two travellers. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one might need to prepare and cook food, and the continental breakfast provisions were lovely. Linda was prompt and helpful pre check in and was flexible to accommodate a slightly later check in. We loved the close proximity to a few of our fav wineries in the naramata region. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to family and friends!

    Diana2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Scott and Linda's place was fantastic this weekend. Their communication was great, and they left lots of helpful tips and information inside the suite for things to do around Naramata and Penticton. The suite is clean, comfortable and the private balcony is the perfect place to relax. The location is close to wineries, and very close to Naramata as a town. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic weekend away.

    Adam2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • The suite is absolutely perfect. Nestled on the hills that sit above the Naramata Bench, the views are spectacular. Linda and Scott are very welcoming hosts and had us in mind throughout the weekend. This is how you should experience wine country in the Okanagan We were able to do a great wine tour through Open Air Adventures and had a picnic lunch in a vineyard. We managed to do the roughly 1hr drive South to Oliver and Osoyoos to check out wineries down there also. All in all, great experience and can't wait to do it again!

    Hanspaul2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a great stay in Naramata! Linda and Scott were great hosts - we loved the special touches like including breakfast options for us. The view is incredible from their place and it is perfectly located to take advantage of the wineries in the region.

    Nicole2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Scott were friendly and easy to communicate with. The suite itself was immaculate, well stocked with everything you might need and had a comfy bed. We loved the location up on the bench- patio view was lovely and close to the KVR trail which was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

    Michelle2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Scott were fabulous hosts who were very obliging in every sense. The suite was perfect - very modern, immaculately clean and spacious. We loved the quiet location away from the main town centre but still only a few minutes from the nearest lake beach and central to many wineries. We would definitely recommend the accommodation to others. Thanks Linda and Scott.

  • Eileen was a great host! She took time to show us around the garden and even let us pick some vegetables! The house was exactly as described and they went above our expectations by providing breakfast items such as eggs, milk and cereal. There were fresh cut flowers around which was a very nice touch. We would definitely stay with Eileen again!

    Garrett2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Eileen was really great to communicate with and her home is lovely, super clean and great location for experiencing Naramata. Would highly reccomend and will be back!

  • We couldn't have had a better host and home to stay in. If you are staying in the Okanagan, this is your best option by far. It a short walking distance from so many great wineries and restaurants. The house is big and roomy, and Eileen and Dan were so generous with their preparation, even had gluten-free items for one member of our group. There will be nothing better you can find then Eileen and Dan's beautiful home. It far exceeded our expectations and we will be staying again.

    Greg2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and all beds were comfortable. The house was fully equipped with everything you'll need and fully stocked for breakfast foods!

    Ria2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Eileen's place for a 40th birthday getaway. It was beautiful and spacious and the pictures don't do it justice. The patio was much larger than we expected - we had several lovely evenings drinking local wine and eating local cheese (both of which they provided us with). When we arrived, Dan was there to welcome us - and the fridge was stocked with tasty fruit. The kitchen had everything we needed for our morning coffee and breakfast. The location was close enough to walk to Joie, Van Westen, and the local Naramata centre wineries. I would highly recommend Eileen's place for a pals getaway as the three large bedrooms gave everyone room to spread out. Hint - check out the Poplar Grove cheese shop - the harvest gold cheese Eileen gave us was delicious. Thanks again!

    Antonia2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Eileen and Dan's place was simply perfect. Huge place with 3 bedrooms, a large living, dining and also a fully functional kitchen, as well as a beautiful terrace. Very comfortable, immaculate, with a high level of attention to detail (beach towels, lots of towels, toiletries, hair dryer) and a high level of care: we were looked after like royals with amazing freshly baked cookies, muffins, apple puree, complete and delicious breakfast, veggies straight from the garden! Eileen and Dan are wonderful hosts, keen to share not only their garden but also their experience, and have reached the perfect mix of being available and keen to help while respecting guests' privacy. We are also so glad we went to Naramata instead of busy and crowded Kelowna and other areas of the Okanagan : right on the wine and hiking trails, and close to the lake, what else?! We can't wait to come back and 100% recommend.

  • This location is great as it is walking distance to many swimming areas and to the town itself. There is lots of shade so if you've been out in the sun all day they have set up a nice seclude area with chairs and table to enjoy that bottle of wine you bought. The 5th wheel is very clean and you really do have lots of privacy and room for spreading out. It was great having a fridge that you can stock with cold beverages and other essentials. Kim and Martin were very quick to communicate as I booked them on the morning of my arrival. It was great each day to leave Naramata and ride through all the vineyards. Good value for the money!!

  • We had a wonderful stay here! The pool and view are even better than what we expected ! Christy and Alan were amazing hosts; they are friendly, fun, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and many of the wineries. We felt right at home both in the suite and in the shared pool area. The suite had everything we needed, and the attention to detail was much appreciated. The pool is a gorgeous oasis- especially on a hot day. We actually cut out wine touring in half in order to spend more time taking in the poolside views and hanging out with our wonderful hosts. We definitely recommend this place, and will be returning!

  • Naramata Vineyard is just as the title says, a house in a vineyard with a magnificent setting above Okanagan lake. Naramata is a charming and scenic village just north of Penticton, filled with wineries, many of which have great restaurants attached, which makes for great touring. The unit itself is extremely spacious, being in essence the hosts' basement. Although there is no stove or hotplate, there is a full sized fridge and a microwave. We were eating out anyway. They have a great wifi signal too. The best part is the huge pool and deck which overlook the lake. This you may share with the hosts in the evening, but they are very friendly and there is room for all. We will return.

  • Mireille's home is situated across the street from a beach where any family with kids could easily spend the entire day. It is within walking distance to a nice coffee shop and a mom and pop corner store. The house worked out really well for me, my husband, and 3 small children. The way that the bedrooms are situated doesn't provide much privacy, so it might not work for more than one family.

The King ensuite is one of two bedrooms in a spacious B&B with private key-less entrance from a covered patio with panoramic view of Lake Okanagan. AC, fireplace, TV, WiFi. A Queen ensuite is listed separately; two combined are ideal for two couples.
  • Eva welcomed us very warmly and we felt immediately like home. We stayed two nights in de King's Chamber. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies and the view from the room was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation was exeptionally clean and very well maintained. Thank you Eva for these two days in Naramata.

  • Eva made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The king suite was beautiful. We enjoyed Eva's homemade muffins every morning!

    Jennifer2014-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in the king suite at Eva and Philip's was wonderful! The suite is spacious and clean, and stocked with everything you need. Eva and Philip have thought of all the little touches, from a chilled wine bucket in the freezer to enjoy a bottle from one of the 30+ vineyards nearby, to a local guidebook (put together by Philip) with suggestions for activities. The king sized bed is very comfortable and the room is quiet and private. Eva and Philip let guests set the tone for how much privacy you want - you won't see them if you don't want to, but they are readily available whenever you have a question or would like to have a nice chat. Each morning we awoke to breakfast laid out for us in the kitchen, including a fresh pot of coffee, homemade muffins, yogurt parfait and berries from Eva's garden. We spent both evenings on the outdoor patio taking in the breathtaking views of lake Okanagan. There is a queen bed suite on the other side of the kitchen/living room area. This set up is ideal if you are travelling with a group and are looking for two bedrooms. We have already started talking about our next trip to Naramata and we will stay at Eva and Philip's again!

  • We had a really great time staying here. Eva was very accommodating and would recommend the b & b for anyone.

  • A very magical experience! Eva and Philip have a beautiful home, and very well engineered to suite the guest's needs. One does not need to look any further to have an amazing Naramata experience staying at the Above Naramata B and B. Eva is a real friendly character that we hope to see again.

Set atop the rolling hillside of Naramata is the one of a kind 150 acre extremely private retreat. Panoramic views stretch over Okanagan Lake and picturesque vineyard below. Minutes to Naramata's best wineries. Open concept house. Best Value.
The home has been designed with every modern feature you can think of. Open concept living allows for gathering inside or step onto the large patio with BBQ.
  • David and Warren were wonderful hosts. Warren was very prompt with replying to messages and David was there when we arrived at the home. David lives in a yurt directly behind the property but was very polite in giving us our privacy while we were there. There are many hiking trails near by and David was very knowledgeable and even offered to show us the main one that goes through the property. Although we didn't have time to see it, we would love to next time! The view from the balcony is also amazing! We spent the majority of our time enjoying the balcony and the weather outside. The gravel road up is a little difficult (especially with small cars) but we were still able to make it up. The beach in Naramata town is only an 8 minute drive down and we booked a wine tour with a company that came right to the door to pick up our group of 6! Great trip and will definitely be back to Naramata!

  • David and Warren are awesome hosts and we would come back again to this lovely home. Hopefully the next time we come back there will be a pool

  • Just spent a great long weekend at this house. Honestly the pictures don't do the place justice. The property is minutes away from several top notch wineries, the KVR trail for hiking or biking, the lake and some pubs and restaurants. But yet it's perched above the hustle and bustle, with nothing but solitude and an amazing view of the lake and sunset. We enjoyed the open layout of the house with large bedrooms, gourmet kitchen, large deck, BBQ, beach volleyball court, and really comfortable furniture. There was ample space for six of us to spread out and enjoy some downtime. Warren was very prompt in his responses and David has a wealth of knowledge about what to see, eat, drink and do in the area. The house is well stocked. Very new and well built. Windows were triple glazed and great at keeping heat in and noise out. There's also a fireplace if it gets cold and air conditioning if it gets too warm.. The long dirt road to the property was easy to navigate, just had to drive slowly. It could be a challenge if you arrive after the sun sets. David a Warren have great plans for the property, and I can't wait to see what else they decide to do. I look forward to the next time I'm back in naramata so I can stay here again. No hesitation in recommending this to anyone. Thanks Warren and David for the wonderful long weekend you provided for us.

  • This place is absolutely amazing. When you first arrive, it is a long driveway and therefore you do not see the house straight away, one you get to the to the house you will not be disappointed! The views from the house are absolutely incredible! We were a family of six staying and we were all very comfortable. Two of the rooms are Jack and Jill style with a great big bathroom in between the other room has an en suite. We were met by David who lives on site in a yurt and he was happy to show us around the place and talk about the local area. The house has a great balcony around the front of the house supporting a BBQ. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a lovely trail near the house and we were lucky enough to see some amazing wildlife! There is a local shop in Naramata where you can pick up the essentials for your stay. You will not be disappointed here if you are looking for a little peace and quiet, being right in the middle of the great wine region, and with spectacular views! You will love it!

  • This place is immaculate! Amazing view of the lake! You are about 20 minutes outside of penticton, deep in the heart of wine country! David and Warren are excellent hosts and were extremely accommodating. David showed us some excellent trails which lead to an old train tunnel. All in all an amazing trip and will be coming back!

    Justin2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent place for a quiet getaway with unbeatable views. Great access to the kvr trail, Narmata wineries and a short drive or bike to penticton. The driveway up to the property is rugged but easily navigated if you take your time.

  • Charlene is so hospitable, we felt like we were home. Everything was comfortable, clean and nice. Had a great time. Would definately go again.

  • We stayed with Charlene at her beautiful log home over the long weekend. The home is nestled up on a hill with a creek that flows beside it. So you can imagine the blissful sleep you get next to a babbling creek. When you are in her home it feels like it is your home because she makes you feel so comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing. Homemade quiche that rivals my boyfriend's mom's recipe and... fresh squeezed Okanagan cherry juice anyone?? Seriously? Yes please!!! We sat around each morning talking for hours with Charlene and another couple that was staying there because the company was great. Super hospitable. Charlene had some great suggestions for wineries to visit that we would never have discovered on our own but have now become our favourites too. We will definitely stay again. Thank you again!!!

  • Charlene's place was just perfect for what we were looking for. Great location to the winery's. she also makes a great breakfast.

    Cheryl2014-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was terrific! The breakfasts... Charlene was accommodating to our gluten-free needs and made this gorgeous feasts for us daily which we enjoyed on the patio overlooking the lake. (Also a fabulous place to sit with some wine and cheese and watch the sunset.) The beds were very comfortable and made for good sleeps in between our wine tasting adventures. You can't get any more convenient than being right on the bench! There isn't much for cell service up there but in a way that was nice - and of course there was wifi so we were still connected. Definitely would recommend this space!

    Tessa May2014-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Charlene is a great host and accommodated our 4 month old puppy. The house was very clean and it was centrally located between many great wineries.

    Rich2014-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very authentic, large and well built. Very cool place. The only problems were the ants, cat hair, and cobwebs that were throughout the house. We had ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. The house was in need of some cleaning and there were many cobwebs hanging in the house. There was a distinct smell of marijuana coming from the basement which her son occupies. We paid for the second night by cash with no receipt, so bring some money with you and not a credit card. There are approximately 40 stairs to get to the front door, so if you have climbing issues, be prepared.

  • A group of 4 of us stayed with Charlene last weekend for some wine touring in Naramata. Charlene was very hospitable and her cats were super friendly as well. She made us all feel very welcome and the rooms were clean and all amenities needed were provided. Breakfast was very filling on both days and she put effort into making sure we had no dietary restrictions. Overall great experience, thanks Charlene.

    Jason2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Charlene was very welcoming, and that welcome extended to her home. The entire downstairs of her home was open to us, and a spacious deck with a beautiful view of water and trees was a wonderful place to relax. Clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable and very private bedroom, great wifi, generous and delicious breakfasts great coffee!), and well-located, we recommend Whispering Pines to Naramata visitors. thank you for being such a gracious host, Charlene!

  • Staying at Jodie & Ulla's cottage has definitely been one of my favourite Airbnb experiences so far! Six friends and I were in Naramata for a short vacation and theirs was the perfect place to chill out, check out some nearby wineries, and spend some quality time together. The house is super clean and well-maintained; there are lots of beds and washrooms to choose from, and there's a beautiful kitchen where we made some memorable homecooked meals together. If we ever return to the area (and hopefully we will!), we would love to stay here again.

  • The family cottage is a fantastic place to stay. The two-level house is very comfortable and two decks are perfect - one is always shaded, the other gets sun all day. Lots of modern features and everything works as it should. Super comfortable sofa and beds too. Jodie was helpful with the communication making it easy to get in and enjoy our stay. Highly recommended for a stay in wine country, BC!

  • An awesome house! Perfect for families (toys are provided for kids!) and small gatherings. Great yard and outdoor seating area, fabulous kitchen, ample parking and walking distance to the lake. On a quiet street, near a school / playground. Jodie and Ulla were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

The house name is spot-on as the place is perfect for families with children - having a wonderful large swimming beach a short walk away on the very quiet and safe roads of Naramata. • This cottage is perfection! The space is exactly like the photos and our group had an amazing time. The kitchen is a great place for groups to cook and eat together, and the outside space is so relaxing (also a 5 minute walk from the beach). We had a girls weekend here and everyone had tons of space. I would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be back.
