Canal Lock
“Ballard locks link the Puget Sound with Lake Union and Lake Washington. Boats as large as 760 feet in length and as small as a kayak can travel through the locks. The locks are also a critical link for salmon and steelhead heading upstream to spawn. A fish ladder with 21 steps or “weirs” allows spawning fish to climb to the freshwater side. Young fish, or “smolts” then return down through the locks out to Puget Sound.”

“The Tractor is a great live music venue hosting performers several nights a week. Local to touring bands at reasonable prices. We actually came up with our name because of the number of bands that "bunked" with us after performing there. We also host guests from around the area they want to see a show and stay close by. ”
