My family and I loved our stay at Pixie Place in Windsor. We were more than comfortable staying in and relaxing. The property is very well-maintained and the scenery peaceful. All of the amenities that you would need are present. I would definitely return to Pixie Place, and maybe next time have the courage to rent a car. Baby steps.

Our stay was fantastic... I travelled with my entire family and they had never been more comfortable. This location is beautiful and the environment is attracting and very calm. The heating was excellent for the fact that we visited in a cold weather...we will definitely be back if we visit the UK again.

Without a doubt this is the best equipped home that we've stayed in with Airbnb. Angela and Naill were at the end of an email for the one request that I made and it was sorted quickly and in a very friendly manner. All the information we received in advance was efficient and useful, Barry met us on arrival as arranged, and we enjoyed the fact he lived nearby and could tell us about Ham Island. The lock keeper, who was having a respite from the 30,000 craft that pass through his lock during the summer, was also a fountain of local history. Pixie Place is on a quiet backwater and our only regret was that in November it just isn't warm enough to sit out on the decking and watch the water flowing past. We really liked the coffee shop in Old Windsor, which isn't quite within walking distance, but a 5 minute drive away. Old Windsor doesn't amount to much, but does have an excellent Co-Op store. Windsor itself is 10 minutes by car, don't miss the old railway station integrated into the shopping precinct, or an evening at the theatre! By chance it was Remembrance Weekend, which lent a poignancy to the RAF memorial, cared for by the War Graves Commission on the hill above the river. The Magna Carta and JFK Memorials are nearby and also not to be missed. We were very happy here and hope you will be too!

Pixie Place is just as magical and lovely as it looks in the listing. The solarium room is a sanctuary overlooking a river and beautiful red fall leaves. We all loved it! Dont hesitate on this one. It's very near Windsor Castle as well. Perfect stay in the English countryside. Thank you Barry for your help in getting settled and oriented.

Our Family trip with 7 people has been very enjoy in this relaxing accommodation. The house facilities are perfectly meet all our need. Distance is close to Egham and Staines where we can find a 24 hours Texco supermarket, also It's close to most of tourists attractions such as Windsor Castle. The house is beautiful, homely and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Rachel has taken care to ensure the home is as pleasant as could be and has wonderful attention to detail. Nice touches, like having toiletries and bits in the kitchen upon arrival make this one of the nicest AirBNB's we have stayed in.

Quite possible one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The accommodation is really cosy and welcoming and beautifully decorated. The finishing touches are really well thought through and EVERYTHING is catered for. Rachel was amazing and stocked the fridge and cupboards with all sorts of goodies. It was such a shame I was on a detox diet!! Rachel was really welcoming, supper accommodating, and a genuine super host. Would highly highly recommend her place as for that area you can’t go wrong. Hidden away gate house near to Egham town (5 min drive). Rachel is always very welcoming and the place is spotless. A real luxury to stay there. Great kitchen facilities and always a fridge/cupboards of goodies to help with your stay. Highly recommended.

It is a great place to stay. Beautiful home, spacious living area, 20minutes by bus to Windsor centre. The house is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, spacious bathroom and comfortable bath facilities. Beautiful house in the most peaceful place you can imagine, given it's so close to LHR. Birds were singing as I drove through the village. John's place is stylish, clean and comfortable and I fully recommend it.

John and his Wife are incredibly lovely and welcoming into their home! The house is beautiful and they are really accommodating for whoever is staying. With lots of room and full use of amenities, it definitely feels like a home away from home! You know how sometimes the brochure is just that little bit better than the reality ? This isn’t one of those times. John’s house is absolutely lovely, clean and spacious and comfortable . John’s easy manner and welcoming demeanour made this a truly excellent B&B. We stayed overnight before flying out from Heathrow (6 miles away ) . Will definitely be back !

We had a really nice experience at this place. John and his lovely wife are so nice and very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions. He is also flexible with check-in, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. This is definitely the perfect place to stay close to Heathrow airport and Windsor castle.

I love staying here. You are greeted on arrival by John and end up chatting as if you are old friends. The house is exquisitely clean, with the most comfortable bed and the friendliest hosts. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Mary's place is a very welcoming home. She was always available to offer helpful advice of places to visit etc. We we're offered a good choice for breakfast with nice little extras which was lovely. We would highly recommend it to anyone and look forward to returning soon.

Fantastic house boat!

What a wonderful, unique place to stay. Surprisingly spacious, light and bright, but really private. We usually stay in hotels or apartments, but after the lovely time we enjoyed on the houseboat, they will seem rather boring. The boat is warm, cozy and has all the amenities you need. The view of the river and the lovely water setting was delightful. Everything was clean and fresh, our hosts were there if you needed anything and unobtrusive if you didn’t. Having a designated parking space was very convenient and the location of the boat made it a perfect place to see all the local attractions and still have London within easy reach. Thank you Sarah and Darren, we’ll be back.

A surreal location and a beautiful place to stay!

This is a fantastic houseboat, with excellent finishes, giving a very luxurious feel. Sarah the host was spectacular, providing extra special touches for our stay with our baby. Highly recommend!

Very spacious and feels more like a 4 star apartment then a boat. We fed a swan on our first night and saw a kingfisher and heard other beasts so you feel your in the country despite the M25 being just round the corner. Great for us as using it as a base to get to Heathrow (took 15 mins).

The boat is lovely, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are lots of footpaths and walks around. The local pub the george does lovely food and was great service. Windsor castle is just a 15 minute drive away.

I was upgraded into a lovely spacious room and I had a pleasant stay.

First of all Rob cave is one of the most beautiful houses I have seen full with touches which really made our stay spontaneous. He was very understanding when we had a change to plan and continued to greet us with a warm welcome , he was very fast to reply at all times ! He left us complementaries( down to a bottle of wine and few others ) . The tv has sky q where you could also use YouTube , Spotify etc. The place is also beautiful with led lights in the bathroom which jazz’s up the place and is very nice for when you’re chilling in the jacuzzi built in too!! We will definitely call this our get away and be back very soon!! We recommend highly for anyone who wants a 5 star get away with top host services :) Thankyou rob !

Lovely bungalow nice and clean and spacious. The hosts were sooo friendly nothing was too much trouble ! Lots of sweet touches like breakfast in the fridge and a bottle of wine! Thank you. Only one point is the pool table needed more space around it as couldn’t shoot too well with the kitchen being in the way. Otherwise we had a very nice time :)

Stefan is a nice and sweet owner.. he won’t disturb mine private time, but he talked with me when we meet.. and gave a lot of help when I asked. And the little house is very cute and the garden is very nice. I would like to stay here again when I come back for holiday.

Stephan showed a great hospitality during our stay. We arrived at late evening, Stephan showed us the way in and gave us the quick guide of the place . The room is cosy and clean with everything you need for a shot stay . There were abundant drinks ( both alcoholic and soft drinks) in the fridge, and he even put a fresh bottle of milk at the door the next morning. We would sincerely recommend this airbnb to others.

Perfect little spot for easy access into Windsor. Used this as our base ahead of an early start at the Windsor Triathlon. Stefan provided all of the necessary amenities and more, which even included a well stocked fridge of refreshments. Being in Windsor, it is common to hear a number of flights taking off from nearby Heathrow, but thankfully the noise didn't disturb us into the evening.

Stefan's place was as described - a quiet, secluded garden room, well-appointed and easily accessible. Situated in Old Windsor it is very convenient for surrounding attractions like Windsor Castle, Ascot, Maidenhead, etc. The room is plenty big enough for 2 and very comfortable. The ensuite shower and bathroom very clean and easy to use. Stefan and family were very welcoming and helpful.

The cottage has a brilliant setting with the garden looking out on to the Thames. Windsor is just a 15 minute drive away. We had a great time celebrating my mum’s 70th birthday with the family. The owners were always easy to contact. Thank you.

As previous reviews have said this is a quirky house!We booked it for a family gathering for my hubbys 80th. Some of the family were flying in from Switzerland. It was v convenient for Heathrow airport. My 2 year old granddaughter loved the swing and playhouse. Tom was a great host he dealt v promptly with all of my questions.

This house is awesome. I am traveling with my children. He loves this century-old riverside villa like us. Every morning, I can have breakfast with white swan, black swan and wild ducks. Happiness has spent these days. Thank you very much TOM.

Nicely functional and a warm spirit. If you're there on a Sunday, nearby St. John's church is amazing and spot on biblically, a rare find these days. Plus, Egham is where the Magna Carta was assigned in 1217! Great restaurants in the town. Great spot to rest after a long flight to Heathrow. Thanks, Ed!

This quaint cottage is absolutely gorgeous. It fits a family of 4 comfortably and is so homely to the point that one looks forward to coming back to it after spending the day exploring the nearby neighborhood. It is conveniently located near the Windsor castle and car rides within 1 hour to fabulous towns and animal farms. Elton John lives beside the cottage which gives it a wow celebrity factor. Absolutely nice hosts. Definitely a 6-star experience and will return on our next trip.

We had 4 nights at this beautiful cottage. It was at the end of our Europe journey and was just what we needed to unwind and relax before returning back to Oz. Sue and Hamish were great hosts and very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. The little welcome pack was awesome and made our stay easier. The cottage itself was comfy and exceeded our expectations. Had everything we needed and I mean everything. From the laundry, to the kitchen, all the way to the bathroom. Sue and Hamish have thought of everything to ensure guests won't need for anything. We were fortunate to have been able to stay here and we hope to visit again during the summer time. Alan and Athene couldn’t be more accommodating, the space is beautiful, everything you need is to hand and it’s all wrapped in lovely surroundings. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else while I’m in the area!

Week three and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Fantastic location and thanks to Alan’s advice I went and found 2500 year old tree, the oldest owned by the National Trust and had a walk around the local lake. It’s a wonderful wonderful place, don’t hesitate - just book!

Everything was faultless, fantastic communication, friendly welcome and guided tour, breakfast of our choice provided , helpful advice and outstanding, comfortable, modern and cosy accommodation. I had a very comfortable stay at this lovely Mews property! Modern interior yet characterful. Very comfy bed! Lots of wardrobe space places for your stuff in bedrooms. The bedrooms aren’t huge but comfortable and the place itself is perfect for a few days in this area! The outside area is lovely with your own Screened off bit but also a nice big green space. Shame it wasn’t the right time of year to sit outside!! Great location for Windsor, Savill Gardens and all the many interesting things to do in this part of Surrey! It is in a lovely leafy area with a village green a few minutes walk with a nice pub that does great food! Incredibly convenient for Heathrow without being in a concrete jungle! A good choice and hope to return and try one of the other cottages! Nice welcome hamper with some useful things! Debi and Luci answered all communications very promptly and accommodated my request for a late check out which was very kind!!

This has been our second stay in the Mews for work in the area and my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed it as much as the first time. Great location for where they were working (Staines Police Station) and the place is very much a luxury accommodation. Debi is superb at communicating swiftly and was very understanding with a slight issue that was raised. Would recommend a stay here any time.

Debi took such good care of us. Our first place was less than ideal. We were able to find Debi's and contacted her telling her our situation and she immediately told us to come. They had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well maintained. They were so accommodating. I can't say enough good things about our experience.

As a family we loved how the Cob is designed to be both functional and beautiful. The amenities were beyond expectations, the beds were comfortable and cosy and the kitchen was fully equipped. The gardens were extremely beautiful as well. Debi certainly is an outstanding host, she kindly accepted our request for a last minute booking and welcomed us with a nice bottle of champagne and a breakfast hamper, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I also dealt with Luci, Debi’s daughter who clearly inherited her mother’s hosting skills and professionalism and kindly dealt with our queries and made herself available.

Cob cottage was lovely & cosy. Will be back.

Mary's cottage is adorable, full of charm and character. It offers everything you need for an enjoyable stay at Old Windsor. My daughter is going to University in Egham so I used Mary's cosy cottage as a base for the weekend. I couldn't have been happier with the location and to have parking outside the door was a real treat. I would definitely stay here again.

Mary's house is a cosy country retreat just a 3 minute drive from windsor and all its amenities. I stayed here with my husband and two children and used it as a lovely cosy base from which to explore windsor and its beautiful surroundings as well as the obligatory trip to legoland which was a great day out. Would definitely stay here again if we were planning a trip to the general area...very suitable for families and couples looking for a quiet relaxing home to put their feet up after a busy day of touring or sightseeing.

A lovely, quirky cottage in a secluded and beautiful part of Old Windsor. Lovely walks by the river and a great space for the family. We had a lovely time as a family of 4 (with a 4 and a 6 year old) and there is lots of space for the kids to play and entertain themselves and the garden is great for that too. Lovely big kitchen which is very well equipped and some toys a books for the little ones on the living room and upstairs too. We went to London on the train from here and then to Legoland so it's a perfect base for things in all directions.

My wife and I stayed at Mary’s place by the Thames to be close in walking distance to Windsor (30mins to the start of the “Avenue Of Trees”, Windsor Castle). Free parking outside the accommodation (2 spaces) was a great bonus as parking is expensive in Windsor. We stayed to enjoy 3 day break for my Mother’s 70th Birthday, they stayed opposite the castle at The Royal Adelaide Hotel (42min walk from Mary’s). Parking at their hotel was £15 per day! Mary’s place is in a great location for Windsor and the Thames is close by, brown gate beside next doors property leads to the path to the Thames. Mary’s place has charm and character and all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. Stairs are narrow and steep, these could be a problem for someone less able. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Brilliant place to stay. All the amenities you need in a house. Comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful environment at the Mews. Quiet, secure and elegantly laid out with spacious car parking and a lovely green outlook. Perfectly located not just for my needs in Egham & Windsor, but also extremely easy train service to/from Waterloo. Local mini cabs and Uber were easily hired, fast in arriving and reasonably priced. In the Mews, Shire Cottage is elegant, simple and efficient. All kitchen needs were met, dining and living space light and airy with views to front and back. Bedrooms both first class set up with fantastic White & Co bed linen. Bathroom well laid out and again featuring White & Co products. Heating is easily adjustable and kept the place just right as the late October days and nights became crisp. I would love to return in Summertime.

Very well everything with Tina! Super attentive and a beautiful house

Her house is filled with really positive things, and is kept very clean. Fully stocked kitchen with all the basics you need to cook a meal (stove, oven, fridge, panini press, salt/pepper and oil), she also has a dishwasher which makes cleaning up easy. Basic satellite tv along with multiple power outlets included in the room, and the bed is very firm and comfortable. Cesaltina is also very helpful with almost anything you need, id recommend that anyone stay here especially if they want to be close to RHUL.

Perfect apartment, convenient location, kindness landlord.

A very nice, large property in a quiet neighbourhood (except for occasional planes which were not very loud). Sat NAV/GPS might direct you to the adjacent street, about 100 yds from the proper location. The bedroom was large, but without seating, and the ensuite large with modern fittings. The nighttime was cool, as us the custom in England, but the duvet very cosy. A simple breakfast with a choice of teas, cereals and spreads for toast was available in the amazing lounge/kitchen. John and his wife were friendly, helpful and trusting. It was more like staying at a friend's house than a B&B.

A lovely welcoming home with great hospitality.

Johns place is absolutely lovely. If you need somewhere to stay in the area I couldn’t recommend it more. There was enough room on the drive to park my van and also a locked shed in the back garden where I could lock my bicycle overnight. J and G were both excellent hosts and very accommodating. The room itself was very well presented and the shower lovely and hot in the morning.

Really warm and friendly hosts. Very considerate and patient with our small children. Lovely environment to stay in and definitely recommend.

Wonderful: always clean and easy to check-in

Me and my partner had the best stay with Val and Bob so far on Air B&B. It was as if staying with family. They both make you feel right at home and go out of their way to please. Their place was absolutely beautiful and we were able to share many great laughs and conversations with them both along the way. We shall definitely look to stay again.

Wow wow wow Val and Bob are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much effort. They have a truly fabulous home in a stunning location. Easy walking distance to a lovely pub and great restaurant. They both made us so welcome and sitting on the balcony looking over the river was a simply perfect way to start our day. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. We can’t thank them enough for all the information and great communication

If you are visiting Windsor then this is the place to be , Val and Bob go way beyond being helpful views of the Thames are breath taking, lovely people , really lovely

A lovely property right on the water's edge. It's a stylish home with off-street parking, a sunroom at the front, 3 nicely appointed bedrooms, cosy heating and a few Hue lamps and a Google Home in the kitchen where there is also a music keyboard you can enjoy if you are able to play. It really has everything needed for a pleasant stay. There are good places to eat and drink a short drive away - the local pub 'The George' is recommended - and the town of Windsor is very pleasant (but do get yourself ready for expensive parking!).

This house is even better than the pictures. The spaces are very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we could want and the rest of the house was easy to relax in. We really enjoyed spending time in it after long days of exploring both London and the countryside, to which it has easy access. It is about 45 minutes on the train to central London, 2 hours to the south coast, and an and a half hours to Avebury. A great location to get a little bit of all styles of touristing. We traveled as a family and our kids slept amazingly well in the house. Communication with Rebecca was easy and fast.

Great place, great hosts and a lovely house to stay and relax in!

Rebecca's house was everything she promised and more! We stayed for two weeks and this home was truly a home away from home. The entire space is built for comfort, with so much space to entertain and accommodate large families. We have truly had an incredible stay and would highly recommend staying here! We will most definitely be back. Thank you so so much :)

Really good. Clean and quiet. You can use kitchen fridge and do the laundry. Nice dining area. Close to everything in the village. 10 minutes walk to train station. Ed really nice and helpful. To me couldn’t be better.
