“At the heart of lower Manhattan. This is the Freedom tower and the 911 museum are right there. This is where you end up if you take the WTC PATH train into the city. From here you can grab other subway lines or walk to the Wall Street area, Battery Park, City Hall and if you're adventurous walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn. There is a walking/biking path on the water that you can take all the way up the west side of the city on the Hudson. Very scenic. You can rent City Bikes here and many other places as a fun way to get around.”

“At the top of the newly constructed One World Trade Center building, One World Observatory is an observation deck offering outstanding views from floors 100, 101, and 102, 1,776 feet above the city. The elevator to the top is part of the attraction. As you ascend, the surrounding panels show New York as it transformed over the years, from a rural landscape to the metropolis you see today. This glass building, which can be seen from all over the city, is a unique structure on the Manhattan skyline, with angles that give it a very distinct appearance. If you stand near the base and look straight up, the tower appears pyramidal. If you want to go up and see the view, you can buy a NYC One World Observatory Skip-the-Line Ticket to save you some time, but note, you will still need to clear security. Address: One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton Street, New York, New York ”

Metro Station
“One World Trade Center – also known as Freedom Tower. Located in the financial district in Downtown Manhattan it offers some of the most breath-taking views across the city. One World Observatory is home to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. Everyone remembers where they were when they found out about 9/11 so what better way to honour this day than to pay homage to the victims at the Memorial & Museum. The One World Trade Center’s Museum also features a Permanent Collection with exhibitions of items donated as well as the incredible account from John Stiastny, one of the only survivors of the national disaster. The Foundation Hall contains a segment of the surviving wall of the original structure of the World Trade Centre and visitors can still see inscriptions, memorials, and missing posters from the aftermath in 2001. Outside visitors can also see the two memorial pools on the North and South end, the 80-foot Tridents columns as well as International flags which were suspended in the lobby of the original Twin Towers prior to the devastating incident. Nearby you can also visit the iconic Statue of Liberty and historic Ellis Island Immigration Museum to make the most of your New York experience. If you plan on arriving by Subway the stop is Fulton Street/Park Place or enjoy a Hop on Hop off Bus Tour experience and jump off at stop 11, 12, or 13 on the Downtown route. Alternatively, the address is 180 Greenwich St. World Trade Center should you be arriving by Taxi or car. ”
