Park
“Take a trip up to El Teide National Park (just 51 kilometres from your doorstep). Named World Heritage Site in 2007, the National Park is the most famous landmark in the Canary Islands and is home to El Teide, an active volcano (the highest mountain in Spain). In 2010, El Teide became the most visited National Park in Europe and the second most visited worldwide. Take a cable car to the top and enjoy truly breathtaking views of the island of Tenerife and the other surrounding Canary Islands. ”

“Impressive big black sand beach with big wild waves. Easy access walking down some steps from the car park. There is a beach bar here serving tapas, paella and beer. The ocean current can be strong here, so follow what the locals do. There is usually a lifeguard on duty.”

Plaza
