“Less than five minutes walk, this area along the canal has been gentrified to include canal boat rides, architectural landmarks designed by world renowned designers, restaurants on the canal and shopping for everyone. A great day out with the family! ”

“Hire a boat, take a picnic and leisurely cruise the canals. You can hire the boats for 1 or 2 hours. A really nice activity and something a little different.”

Bar
“Right on Merchant Square, Lockhouse is an all-day joint with burgers and craft beers at its heart. From the Locked & Loaded (double beef patty, double American cheese, double bacon) to the Asian-inspired tuna steak burger, the menu is full of crowd-pleasers plus a number of salad options for those who want something more virtuous. There’s a varied tap selection with more beers to be found in the fridge, so you’ll have no problem finding the perfect brew for your burger.”

Hospital
“St Marys hospital is a busy urban hospital, but they have fantastic staff and A&E service for adults as well as children. I hope you never have to go there, but if you do, its great that its so close and the service provided is excellent in an emergency.”

“Walk along the Grand Union Canal. Every Friday at noon they roll up and then roll back this cute Rolling Bridge, in the middle of the canal basin surrounded by big glass office buildings. They also do the Fan bridge too, which is a couple of hundred yards up the canal”

Point of Interest
“Hopefully you won't need it but jut incase - this is the closest Accident & Emergency department open 24/7. If you have minor injury think about using St Charles walk-in centre instead - the wait time is likely to be much shorter.”
