“The Palazzo della Ragione was the ancient seat of the city courts of Padua. It was erected starting from 1218 and raised in 1306 by Giovanni degli Eremitani who gave it the characteristic cover in the shape of an upturned ship hull. The upper floor is occupied by the largest hanging room in the world, called "Salone" (measuring 81 meters by 27 and has a height of 27 meters) with a wooden ship's hull ceiling. It is part of the Palazzo Comunale of Padua.”

Point of Interest

“Always searching for the best pizza, I've incredibly found it close to home. This small place, despite being always crowded and a bit noisy, will surprise you for the bold and creative selection of ingredients, wisely mixed up to create some unique combinations you won't forget easily. Imho their crispy pizza is a masterpiece, the best ever. Besides, you will appreciate a top notch list of beers and a very qualified service. ”

“Tucked away in a narrow alley, Osteria dal Capo is by far my favourite spot in Padua. Here you can treat yourself with a proper delicious italian meal in a cozy and quaint atmosphere. Their menu reminds me of those great sunday meals at my grandmother's home and features seasonal options you can hardly find elsewhere. Only a few tables, it fills up quickly. Better book in advance. ”
