“It's worth looking into doing a trip to Patonga to enjoy the Boathouse Restaurant go during the week to avoid crowds. Or to Ettalong which is a reasonable town.”

Garden
“The Bible Garden is a quiet, contemplative, garden made up of a series of gently descending, intimate grassed terraces that lead down to a viewing area providing spectacular views. The pond contributes to its tranquillity and provides a water habitat for biblical plants. This destination includes insane views of the whole of Palm Beach and direct views of Barrenjoey headland and lighthouse. ”

Park
“Governor Phillip Park has been recently renovated and her facilities for both kids and parents are fabulous. A replica of the cutter Governor Arthur Phillip sailed on, as he passed these shores in 1788, in search of fertile farming grounds, for the burgeoning settlement of Sydney, defines the lay out of the new park. There are lots of large free BBQs for public use. A huge undercover trestle table has seen many a party, but you will need to get there early to secure that one. If you miss out, there are lots of heritage listed smaller picnic tables dotted around the park (10min walk from the house).”

“This is a great hideaway, on a sunny day the water here will look amazing. It's a quiet spot that not many people know about. Don't forget your swimmers and a book.”
