Exactly what appears in the photos, sensational vacation in Paraty / Angra, we stayed 10 days in the space, the bed linen changed, the towels provided and the cleaning is a differential. TIP: Fill the fuel before arriving in Cunha or Ubatuba, and there is no need to take water, Dona Beatriz supplies a 20 liter canister. We will be back for sure.

Beatriz has a great apartment for a short break in Paraty. It's well located just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Beatriz did everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Great location, near market, mechanic, pharmacy, you can walk in the historical center, extremely clean, nice hosts and always willing to help us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment is spacious with everything you need for an enjoyable stay - fully equipped kitchen, good shower, space to relax in the living/dining room area. Historical centre is about 15 min walk. Big supermarket is about 5 min walk. The apartment is located at the back of the host's home in a quiet area of Paraty so there is no noise while you sleep. We had no problems walking in the area at day or night. The host met us at the his station and drove us to the apartment which was helpful as we didn't have to carrybour heavy bags. He also drove us to the station the day we left! He was very responsive to all our queries and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall a very enjoyable stay, I would recommend this apartment to anyone visitin Paraty.

This place is great for one person or a couple looking for a charming place to stay in Paraty. It is as quiet as one can expect it to be in a residential area (Brazil in general is quite loud...) and you are very close to a good supermarket and the old town. The neighborhood is good, which is important in terms of safety. The way to town is as safe as it can be (considered by Brazilian standards), even in the dark. The chalet comes with 2 bikes, which makes locomotion easier (supermarket 5 minutes, old town less than 10 minutes, nicest beach in town 9 minutes). The chalet was made and decorated with good taste and natural materials, since the owners are concerned with sustainability and a conscious lifestyle. Since I am into a conscious lifestyle myself, this was important to me. Just by the way, there is a little organic farmer's market in Paraty on Fridays, if you are interested. I rented the place for a couple of weeks to flee European winter for a working holiday (the internet connection is ok 90% of the time, by the way). The kitchen is outfitted with simple appliances, more catered to the needs of preparing breakfast. However, the host was super nice and let me use her mixer and other things one might need for a longer stay. I would always come back and recommend it for people that are looking for something simple, but cozy and beautiful at an affordable price. As a whole, I highly recommend Paraty and this chalet for short trips as well as longer stays if you are looking for a good mix of convenience, history, culture and beaches. Roberta and her family are very nice and helped me with everything I needed.

Roberta is a kind and generous host and she also speaks great English which was really handy! She ordered us a taxi when we required one and was really thoughtful and attentive. Her villa is just lovely and for us was worth being a little further out of the main stretch in Paraty (it was about a 10-15 minute walk into the main part of town!) It’s really close to the big supermarket and the peace and quiet is really lovely. We slept really well and truly enjoyed the space. Thanks again Roberta

Great space, about half an hour from the center on foot. And she made us very comfortable, we feel like homeowners.

The chalet is charming and super well equipped, Roberta is pure friendliness and kindness, always willing to help. A good family option, we went with our two year old son and were very welcomed. There is room in the room for a travel cot, extra floor fans in addition to the ceiling fan, we missed nothing. The craft beer is wonderful, embellished the experience! Roberta and dear family, we thank you very much for the welcome and hope to meet you again! Big hug!

More than recommended space! 1. Roberta always very helpful at all times when we had doubts; 2. The house proposal is sensational! When I read that there was no TV in the place, I found it very interesting, because we were really in tune with the environment, disconnecting from the world! 3. The location of the house is great. It is about 5 minutes from the historic center, but within the shopping center, where we have the structure of the city at our disposal. 4. And to close, the hostess's husband still greeted us with 3 stupidly cold beers and even loaned us two bikes for a ride around town. Thank you very much!!

Being in the cottage was a delight! It's cozy, enough to be fine (even on rainy days ...), has privacy, good lighting, little birds around all the time, great tranquility! The fact that it is all wood reinforces the characteristic of being cozy, I loved it! Beautiful furniture and kitchen, the photos correspond to the real place. Good location for being out of the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet close to it and easily accessible for day trips and activities. Quiet, caring, beautiful place, and I hope to come back more often! :-)

The suite is very simple and small, but clean, with the right to minibar, air conditioning, fan, TV, electric shower and even an umbrella, excellent location in the historic part, close to bakeries and restaurants, the bus station is a few 7min walking, the attention of the hosts was incredible, I was not able to use the air control and they came to help me. Super spacious apartment in the heart of Paraty. We were able to leave our car safely in the street of the apartment. Thank you for everything !

Roberta was a splendid host. She really took excellent care of us during our stay. She is easy to get in touch with around the clock. The apartment is fairly good located, and has was you might need to cook breakfast etc... To be fair the apartment could need some ac, and the glass door to enter the house is a bit interesting. But we had a nice stay in Paraty and Roberta made out stay very pleasant.

Roberta's place is perfectly located for a great stay in Paraty. Everything you need is just a few minutes away including the bus station, supermarkets and banks. The old city is a short 5 minute stroll away. The kitchen has everything you need to cook great meals, and there is a large dining table to eat at. If you are accustomed to airconditioning, you may find the top floor bed a little hot but there is a fan to help.

Isis accommodation has an unbeatable location! In addition, Isis personally went to meet us and show us the house and explain the details. The space is larger than what is seen in photos, it is in a very safe area near the Rodoviaria, Supermarket and the Historic Center. Next to the apartment is the Isis family restaurant, it has delicious bahian food !!!

The accommodation was very clean and great location. It is only a few minutes to the historical center and also the bus station and a supermarket are within a few minutes walking distance. I am more than happy with the accommodation, the cottage is absolutely beautiful, everything is very detailed, I have always been a fan of Paraty and always loved the simple, and Isis has proven that you do not need modernity to be happy. I am more than thankful that I was allowed to experience this. Little tip by the way, the mum of Isis has a restaurant next door and the cooks super delicious dishes where it is really worthwhile to look over!

STAY HERE. Look no further. I did SO much research - this place is a dream. Yes, you have to rent a car to get up the mountain, but the journey up is part of the experience and the view and the orchid farm are worth it. And rental cars with Luma are affordable as long as you drive manual. The details in the cabin are 5 star. I honestly didnt even want to go down into Paraty one of the days. Just stay and lounge with the beautiful views.

The photos are a faithful portrait of the place. Incredible experience from arrival to departure. Denis was very receptive, he received us very well. The breakfast in the measure with cold cuts, eggs, local fruits (he leaves everything arranged in the fridge for you to have the freedom to prepare yourself). The chalet is beautiful. From all rooms you have a beautiful view. It is even worth waking up early to watch the sunrise. Despite many windows and glass doors, privacy is guaranteed. The chalet is at a very high point surrounded by vegetation. All equipment works perfectly, utensils to measure (all super clean when we arrive). It has a steep climb to enter the property, but Denis himself passes the instructions. A great option to rest and contemplate nature. We highly recommend it.

An absolutely fantastic house, to spend days of silence and intimacy

The chalet and mountains surrounding it are so beautiful and peaceful that you will forget all about going to the beach. It’s more beautiful than the photos. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Denis is an excellent host. He is very organized, thoughtful, and communicative- he even carried our bags to the chalet in the pouring rain upon arrival. He gave us many tips on where to eat, which beaches to visit, and how to make the most the most of the chalet. He provided a few breakfast items for us like seasonal fruits and eggs from the property- which we really appreciated on account of the chalet being a bit remote. It takes about 30 minutes to drive to the heart of Paraty and an hour to drive to the best beaches. There is no WiFi- so it’s a good opportunity to disconnect from the world and slow down. Staying here is more than a place to crash at the end of the night- it’s a once in lifetime experience!

It was an enjoyable experience, and we loved the place (the best Airbnb ever). Denis is impressive as a host, always available and ready to assist and to provide tips. He loves Paraty and will be the best reference for you to have the most out of it. The Chalet was clean, ready and full of extras that Denis provides to make you feel at home. The view, the amenities, the hospitality, it all makes this place the best choice I've made using Airbnb in Brazil. An enchanted hill, a unique space for those who enjoy peace

The Chalet is AMAZING, as shown in the pictures! Denis exceeded our expectations with the added touches. He was very responsive and assisted in communicating with Ubers and helped us make transportation arrangements for our next designation, and provided recommendations for restaurants, which were incredible! We were welcomed with many organic fruits grown on his property which were delicious. Highly recommend!

Maria and Luis welcomed us very well :) Whenever I needed Maria, she answered quickly. The space is exactly as described, the view of the forest is beautiful ... a peace to have coffee on the balcony of the room or read a book on the hammock. We love the space! The utensils left also served perfectly to make a quick breakfast. We love the stay!

This is a luxurious apartment with a splendid view from the balcony and even from the bathroom. The bed is comfortable, there are fitted mosquito nets at every door and window. Every detail in the flat has been carefully thought out, the quality of the fittings, airconditioning, etc. are outstanding! We strongly recommend Maria's place.

The chalet is very charming and pleasant. The experience is even more fun with the visits of the friendly little monkeys, who love to interact with guests. Rejane, always helpful, provided the necessary groceries for breakfast, a treat that was very welcome! Unfortunately, it rained a good part of our stay, which made it difficult to access the place, as already anticipated by the hostess in the ad. But we overcame the obstacles and managed to get around the city. Worth the experience!

My stay at Paraty was short but really nice. Rose was patient with someone who doesn’t speak Portuguese and arrive pretty late (and I thank her). The flat is really nice for someone alone or a couple, few minutes walking to the historic center or the port to take a boat for beaches. There is a supermarket, shops and restaurants just down the street. A good place to stay.

Good space for two people. Up to three. Everything as shown in the photos, clean place, clean and good bedding and bath. Super comfortable bed. But the best is the location. A 5 min walk to the historic center, about 2 minutes from the bus station, supermarket, pharmacies, restaurants all on foot. Rose gave us the necessary support. Super recommend !!!!

The stay was great! The space is just as it is in the ad. Simple but cozy place, very clean and organized, very close to the historic center, less than 5 min walk. Despite arriving an hour earlier than scheduled for check-in, Rose was very helpful in accommodating us as soon as possible. It is super worth it!

Good location, great hospitality

Our time there was extraordinary. My boyfriend and I had a good experience. Sheila was always attentive. We didn't have any problems. In the region that the house is located, there are a lot of mosquitos. Nevertheless did have any problems with this. The room has a fan in the ceiling and we used a spray to not have a problem with them. The house has one dog, Ariana,e one cat, carvao, both are tame and sweet. Ariana loves to stay in the from the door of the house and will be a great company. Sheila knows the region pretty well and will always help you with tips.

Host is awesome, she will help you any way she can. We loved her dog and cat and the hammock. Super close to the beach its good. Some things to note that Sheila is living in the property in the back of the house. That was okay for us, she explained that to us on the messages. Brazil and the area have mosquito so we advise to close everything around 5pm and reopen everything to keep it ventilated. Worked for us the best. I do recommend the stay. Thanks for the warming energy and sorry we didnt come around before leaving to say bye to your animals.

Sheila was an excellent hostess with us, from the good mood to explain the functioning of the house to the perfect tips on the tours in Paraty. We love the accommodation, the atmosphere of the house and Ariana and Carvão <3 Ah, and the house is 10 minutes from the center (walking). I highly recommend it!

If you want to be close to the historic center, in a charming, spacious and affordable apartment, this place is Isis's townhouse. Located very close to the historic center, the best acarajé in Paraty and the best burger (Boro Godó), the apartment is very good and worth the stay.

Very nice apartment with beautiful balcony facing the road. the kitchen could use some updates and yes there is a fish store on the main floor, so it does smell like fish sometime. so for people that are easy complainers and are looking for luxury we recommend something else. we had a wonderful time and loved the apartment, location and paraty very very much. thank you isis!!!

Comfortable little apartment, a stone’s throw away from both the historical city center as well as the bus station. Perfect location to explore the city and its surroundings from. Isis her parents’ restaurant nearby the apartment has some great Bahian food to offer as well!

The place is very beautiful, with a view of part of the city, from the balcony, unique. The sunrise from the bedroom is very interesting, because it allows you to perceive the orange color of the sunrise from the bed. There are shops very close to the lodging, whose prices are very accessible.

Hosting in the Isis space is a pleasant experience. The townhouse is located very close to the Historic Center and all the facilities of the city. I found a charm on the front porch. Isis and her mother are very nice people too.

The accommodation is much better than it looks from the photos. The place is quiet, easy to find, the place to park the car is on the street, but it is well delimited. The room is great. We were very pleased with the accommodation.

We loved the view of the room, Eric served us very well and was very requested whenever we needed. We love that the room had access to Netflix. It is really close to the historic center!

Location close to the Historic Center beach, Jabaquara beach and Pontal beach. You can go on foot, but it is a hillside region, if you have knee problems you will have difficulties. Be sure to take: Repellent (room next to the forest area), Umbrella and Raincoat (during the three days I stayed it rained a lot at night). Mr. Erick is really helpful and helped a lot with tips on places to visit. The view from the room is a differential (very beautiful), better than in the photo. The bathroom shower is very good (after a day of walking and hiking you will have a bath with a strong and relaxing jet). If you go by car, you will have to stay on the street (quiet and safe). For breakfast I recommend the Padaria da Manu (located in the Historic Center). It has an excellent price, and the place is very comfortable, with a high standard of hygiene (with 15 reais you will have an excellent breakfast). If you don't like air conditioning, be sure to bring your fan, as you don't have it in your room. In short: Excellent Cost x Benefit, a simple but clean and comfortable place. If you fit this type of place profile, you'll love it.

My boyfriend and I are very happy with our stay in Paraty, Eric's house is extremely clean and to realize the care you have with the place, is very close to the center, you can walk, the view from the room is sensational, but has a lot of mosquitoes because of the forest, repellent saved us. Eric is friendly and ready to meet. We will definitely be back soon!

What impressed me most about the place was the stone, especially the bathroom that makes the bath something even more delicious! It is a charming and simple place, with great taste and great hospitality. I recommend it with joy!

The house is very spacious, well decorated and comfortable. It has cable TV with several movie channels, new and soft towels, basic cleaning items (detergent, sponge, dishcloth), clothesline ... that is, you only need to bring clothes. Eros was a host of extreme zeal and attention for the 14 days we stayed in Jabaquara. Its space is ideal for a couple, is well located and good value, by car you can quickly reach the best points of Paraty (Historical Center and Pontal Beach), being 27 km from Trindade and 30 km from São Gonçalo Beach. It's the best for me. The beach of Jabaquara is beautiful, but with a side that is mangrove, its waters reflect the dark background, but it is clean due to the preservation and pollution free mangrove. The kitchen has the basics for preparing small meals, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is of good size and the space has a wifi that meets the needs. It was a great stay.

The chalet is great and in a great location. Near the beach of Jabaquara, which is super charming. Thereza was super kind, was always available and gave us great tips. Super recommend it!

This is a sweet room only 2 blocks from the beach and round the corner from a shop. Thereza was very helpful and sent lots of information about locating the place. It is a separate little building in the garden. Thereza was also very helpful when I dropped a glass bottle on the floor.

I want to recommend to all lovers of traveling this place that is an oasis of art and love details. In 3 weeks of traveling through Brazil, arriving at CasaCacau was the best experience. Sonia is the best hostess of my entire trip. His house is of good style and taste. You have to walk 10 minutes to get to any side of interest be historic center, bus station (bus terminal) or just go to the shops to buy things for your breakfast. In addition Sonia has details that she gives you when you are hungry. Next to the house there is a restaurant if you want to have breakfast or eat something special or just have a drink. The most beautiful thing is to travel the path to the historic center because in front of the house there is a river which gives absolute peace to the place. Something also beautiful is that you can travel alone and walk around the place without fears ... everything is peace people are respectful and there are many cultural events in the center very easy to reach from this beautiful home. In short I qualify with 5 stars. The room is very comfortable you open the window and you have a green of all the plants that inhabit the garden. Private hot water bath, the kitchen is available and there is always a time to talk with Sonia the hostess. She is a psychologist artist a beautiful human being whom I invite to Ecuador and I hope one day to return to her home that was like a home for me at the time I was there. Win an excellent lodging and a great friend and sister of life.

If you are looking for a house with the best view in the Parati area, look no further. We could not get enough of this amazing view of the bay and the surrounding mountains. Enrique was super helpful in providing tips and insight on exploring this wonderful area. We had the trip of a lifetime and this house was the backbone for it all...

Enrique's house is a dream located in a paradise area of the green coast, and Enrique a great host. He was attentive to our arrival, and wrote us a few days before to give us all the necessary indications to arrive by car. Check-in and out were dynamic and friendly. A few kilometers from the beautiful city of Paraty, which is accessed by a route close to the house, Enrique's house is in a safe and quiet residential area, perfectly equipped (everything you need for a stay is really available long duration), with a lot of style and good taste. It is located in the area of Ilha de Araújo, with easy access by car from the route that connects Rio de Janeiro with Paraty. A few minutes by car you access two beautiful beaches (Praia Grande from which boat trips depart to different beaches in the area, and Prainha easily accessible by a short path in the bush that is entered from the parking lot of the first ) and a small center where you can buy basic things and fresh fish (the fish market of Praia grane is truly excellent). There are also nearby restaurants recommended by Enrique. The view from the deck is wonderful. We made a stay with another couple of friends and we felt so comfortable that none of us wanted to leave. Enrique seems more than a host, a friend who waits and says goodbye to his guests. The chalet is a paradise! It has all the necessary structure for comfort! All very new, clean, modern and outside talking about access to the natural pool which is 5 minutes walking down the terrain. We were very well received by Diemi, Josi and Michel, a lovely child and integrated with the parents in the care of guests. Very helpful, always returning to us when we ask for a recommendation or help (they live next door). The infrastructure is very complete, especially in the kitchen utensils! The view is surreal and the night is an invitation to see one of the most beautiful skies in the world! Totally starry!

Dieme, Josiane, Michel are very friendly and hospitable people, always helpful, helped us on arrival as we arrived at night and with rain. They went down the street to help us up. They were wonderful days in Paraty and Cunha. We will definitely be back.

I don't even know where to begin with our experience in Parati. Wait, I'll start with the main reason why our trip was so amazing. Cira. From the second we stepped foot onto her AMAZING property, she was kind, generous, accommodating, and fun! When she say that we were two friends and not a couple, she immediately got another room with two single beds ready. When I told her I eat a low-carb/pork-free diet, she went to the store that day to pick up some eggs so I wasn't forced to eat a carb heavy Brazilian breakfast (juice, fruit, bread). Her cohost Jerome is just as awesome. He was very helpful and great about advice of things to see and do around town and even invited us to the club he was performing at for Carnival! I can't say enough how friggin magical Parati was and it was all thanks to Cira. Thank you again my friend and we will definitely be staying with you again soon!!!

Cira is an exceptional host, always full of attentions, good addresses and advice. NB: very generous breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, eggs, toast, cake, yogurt and homemade cheese ...) Cira even makes us discover small local specialties. Thanks again !

Cira's place was lovely, a real escape from the hustle and bustle of Brazil's big cities. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good. The only thing to be aware of is that it is about 25-30 min from the centre and the beach so it's probably better if you have a car.

We had a fantastic stay at Cira's place. Cira's personality is fantastic. She is so pleasant asa host! Within minutes after we checked in, she was already offering to drive us to enjoy a quick swim in the waterfalls just a short ride away in the local mountains/forest. Cira and Jerome both speak various languages, making the communication easy. Jerome was fantastic in going the extra mile in helping us, making phone calls to arrange activities, transportation, etc on our behalf. We highly recommend this place.

We had a really nice welcoming at Cira’ home. Everything went well and we felt comfortable at any time without any issues. We really liked her breakfast and the nice view on her place. All in all I can highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time at Ciras lovely house. The house has a wonderful garden, is lovely furnished and its very clean. Also Cira was an excellent host, that cared about everything. The breakfast was amazing, lots of fruits, freshly-pressed juice, eggs... She also is very helpful and supportive, for example she organized bikes for us and on the day that we left we could leave our lugagge at her house longer than check-out time. Absolutely recommended!
