⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + It’s almost as if DnA invented Airbnb! They were ideal hosts! We had a private home with quiet nights in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful hills of LA and our own private, perfectly lite patio at night with early morning sun for coffee and sun bathing. One morning while having breakfast we watched as humming birds fluttered around the patio. They supplied above and beyond amenities and personal touches including snacks, beverages, movies, plush robes and so much more. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make our stir fry dinners and rice. We loved walking to York street for vintage shopping and healthy eating/drinking. I can’t wait to book another stay with them. Much love from Detroit to you! Thank you DnA & Apollo🌈

Incredible. If you're lucky enough to be able to have the chance to stay here, take it. It will exceed all of your expectations even though they're already set pretty high.

This pool house was wonderful to stay at. It was very clean on the inside, and it had all the standard amenities one would expect. The pool was gorgeous and the hot tub was fun; we took a dip one night and really enjoyed it. Instructions were clear for self check-in and check-out, and both went very smoothly. The fridge and cupboards came stocked with a few goodies as well. The only thing I would note about this place is that the driveway is rather long and steep. I wish I could bring my mother here, but she has arthritis and would not be able to survive the driveway. Overall, we were very happy. Thank you for being great hosts!

Dennis and Alex's place is great! It has great views of the valley whether day or night. The Zen style pool house is stylish and clean!. The pool and hot spa are just a few steps from your door.

I love the scenery Public transportation is a bit inconvenient. The slope from the front gate to the parking lot is so high that the bumper under the car is always scratched.

This cottage was so lovely. Check in was smooth, and the the cottage was so cute and comfortable, with nice touches, ie. art work, and sky lights. The bed was comfy and the sheets were nice cotton. the garden is beautiful. A great location, and on a quiet, tree lined street with nice houses. We really enjoyed our stay, and communication with the hosts was great and always prompt. We will definitely try to book again, when we return to the area.

This is an adorable little cottage in a quiet part of town. We were glad we chose to stay a nicer area a little farther from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights while we went to Disneyland. We were a bit nervous about only having a private room, but it was always quiet and we felt like we had privacy. The animals are super cute and BB knows a few tricks and likes to be pet, all super friendly. We only met Z, but he was super friendly and very accommodating to us.

Lynn and Zeke have thought of everything, from a very clean and organised property ( which is exactly as it appears on the picture) to the breakfast offering with coffee included. We were so appreciative that we found Lynn and Zeke’s cozy home! This was an amazing stay; we enjoyed a comfortable room, our own clean bathroom, and very thoughtful hosts. It was very close (short walking distance) to the bus lines that lead to downtown Long Beach. Great location! I felt very safe in this neighborhood as well.

We had a splendid stay at Lynn’s place. They were very much hospitable. Very quick to respond to queries and offered much needed and helpful advice. Snacks and coffee made us feel very much at home. Accessibility to buses and Metro rail made it very easy to travel. Recommended!

This is my favorite airbnb I've stayed at! The little patio area is so cute and green and sunny! Everything was super clean and there was plenty of water, coffee, shampoo, body wash, etc. The instructions were great - I was only staying for a day so ai didn't get to say hi or thank you to the hosts in person but I am so grateful. It was also very easy to uber to the airport from there - only cost me about $10!

Great decor and a decent location. Everything was as expected, which made for a pleasant stay. Street parking can be a little crowded, but that goes for all of LA area.

Overall a comfortable well appointed spacious upstairs studio. A quiet location close to Griffith park. It's also within walking distance of good restaurants and a Gelsons for delicious take out. Amenities include a kitchen with coffee machine. Also an 8 foot projection screen and a stock of recent movies, TV and Netflix. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

As all previous reviewers have shared, this is a real gem. Mike is easy to communicate with, thoughtful, and has everything you need. The space is lovely and well decorated. It is always a treat to wake up to lemon and orange trees in the yard and drink coffee on the small deck in the morning. I aim to stay in Airbnbs that are true homes (and not owned by a mega rental company) and this is in the backyard of their family home-- it feels like what Airbnb was originally designed for! Would highly recommend and would stay again :)

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying here. Michael and Kayren were lovely and we felt very welcomed and at home. They went out of their way to help us when we accidentally parked in the wrong place; Kayren even dropped us at the impound to collect our vehicle. Beware of red marks on the kerb and parking in front of fire hydrants if you aren't an American! We were on a three week trip travelling around America and this place was our favourite of all the places that we stayed in. Anyone staying here will absolutely love it like we did. The projector and screen with free Netflix and newly released DVDs left out for us to watch was great. There is a lovely clean kitchen area with all those extra items that are a bonus to have - lovely coffee machine, Siracha sauce, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, milk etc. There is a nice outside seating area with a view of the Hollywood sign and it's in a great location to explore all of LA. Would love to stay here again on our next visit.

This is a very unique property with lots of interesting décor touches. It's very private, with a couple of lovely sitting spaces. Some sound was heard occasionally from the main house, but this was not problematic at all. The location is phenomenal to Abbot-Kinney Road, and it's an easy scooter ride (or 15 minute walk) to the beach. Bed was comfortable. Décor could use some freshening up with a new coat of paint and more lighting is needed outside as it's dark coming in. This spot is a great find though, and I would stay again.

Getting from the Airbnb to downtown LA wasn’t a problem at all. I got to go to everywhere I wanted during my trip and got to spend my nights in a nice quite space away from all the noise of city life

Great property and superb location for seeing the sights in LA. Quiet residential street with parking was a bonus. A large supermarket is close by to stock up on supplies. The space was perfect for our needs and clean throughout. We only encountered one issue (Our fault!) and the host responded immediately to help us resolve it so five stars for communication! The deck is a wonderful addition the views are great and a nice spot to enjoy a morning coffee.

I finished my L.A journey at Chad’s place. If you wanna stay away from busy City life, his place might be a good choice. He has an amazing view on the terrace roof. You can see oranges and lemons at the backyard and they’re So delicious. It takes 20 minutes to go Downtown driving. Chad is kind, helpfull, smiling host! I highly recommend this place:)

The apartment was as described. The apartment was very clean and the size was perfect. The roof terrace was a dream. We could always park our car directly in front of the house. The distance to Griffith Park and China Town was great. At our next stay we would take the flat again immediately.

Great spot in Highland Park which was in itself an interesting area to explore. Comfortable bed, secure and free parking - would highly recommend and stay again. Felt like being at home, lots of comfort and character.

Simple but clean and affordable!!

The listing is exactly what it says. Mila was super quick to respond and it was a great place for me and my husband to stay. It is tiny and she’s pet friendly! There are plenty of resources in the little kitchenette if you want to cook at home and she has WiFi and a desk available if you need to do work. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and we were always able to find a parking spot right out front on the street. It is a narrow street on a hill but that is most of the city so be prepared. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Mila's house is very impressive. The condo is super clear and stylish. Check-in and communication process was very smooth. Although we only spend one night in there, we truly enjoy the time stay in the condo. Would love to come back if have other chance visiting LA. 10/10

Mika was super easy to communicate with. The room is beautiful and the bed is comfortable. Check was extremely easy. Very close to lots of good coffee, bars and shops.

Mila's place is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be away from all the everyday noise. I stayed with my daughter and we felt safe and at home. The studio is decorated very nicely. I love all the small details and has the studio equipped with kitchen appliances and she also has toiletry in the bathroom. The bed is super comfortable and my favorite part is the big map on the wall and book shelf filled with travel books. I recommend this studio 100% and Mila is a wonderful and hospitable host!

Jack is a great host, he is so fast at respond and great at communication. The room is so clean! With LA’s winter sometimes can be pretty cold, the little heater works so perfect to keep me warm. The yard is beautiful! Surely the place is a great location for people who love nature and yet still close to center of LA!

Wonderful stay! Not only is Jack a great host, he has some very interesting stories about the land the air bnb is on and adjacent to. I was fascinated with our chats and the literature I found in the room that expanded on what he had told me. The room is in a beautiful location yet fairly close to many businesses. Jack's place was stocked with an amazing amount of thoughtful touches: nice snacks and drinks (I did not know about ORGANIC Gatorade!), Paul Mitchell shampoo & conditioner in the lovely tile shower, shower caps, razors, blow drier, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, an umbrella and disposable raincoats, a flashlight, a calendar, pens, wonderful greeting cards for mailing with stamped envelopes, etc, etc. There is a microwave, good-sized mini fridge, keurig coffee maker with all the fixings, lots of plug ins, lots of lamps, good wifi. Nothing is forgotten here. The space is the perfect size for a single guest. I was very comfortable and recommend Jack's place very highly.

This is a nice little place in a beautiful neighborhood. You can see the hills from the terrace and you can start your hike on the Altadena Crest Trail right from the house. Jack is an absolutely wonderful host. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I arrived at the place. I never expected a place could be much better than I expected or saw in the pictures. It was such an amazing cosy place and the location left my speechless. Mr. Jack put every single thing a human could need there. He put things that you normally don’t find in the fanciest hotels all over the world. My stay was fancy. It is highly recommended. And whenever I’m in California, I’ll definitely be there!

This place is good for a quick stay, you get all the amenities and comfortable bed. There is only street parking so that might be something to look out for, but fortunately we found a spot right in front of the building. The Host is a very decent and charming person. For the price, this is a good place for short & quick stay.

Wei-Xing gave us a warm welcome from our arrival, and my husband and I had a great stay! My friend and I stayed here for two nights and absolutely LOVED it. The space is spotless, close to cafes, restaurants, and stores (within 5 mins), quiet, and great parking. Erica and Brett are very friendly and easy to communicate. Erica came out and greeted us as we parked into the driveway. She was soooo nice!!! The bungalow has a super cute garden and table/chairs outside. We would definitely recommend this place!

This place is great! Such a great place to relax after spending time exploring LA. The bed is super comfortable and It was great soaking up the sun on the porch and we even sampled from the clementine tree. The hosts were very friendly without being too intrusive. I hope this bungalow is available for our next visit to LA!

Erica and Brett’s Place is such a sweet quiet and comfy retreat spot. We slept like babies and enjoyed cooking and eating breakfast and dinner on our patio. The yard is so tranquil and everything is designed and set up so nicely. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The location was perfect for our needs as we had appointments in nearby Pasadena. The guesthouse was quiet and comfortable. We couldn't get the TV to connect to the Internet so we used our gear instead. We also enjoyed a walk in the neighborhood just before sunset. A very pleasant overnight.

Cozy little gem! I absolutely loved staying at Danielle's Airbnb. The location was perfect, I wasn't too far from the tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again and. There is also an amazing breakfast/lunch restaurant called Millie's Cafe 3mins away, would def recommend. Danielle was an amazing host!

Danielle's place was exactly what I was looking for: a tiny sanctuary in the Foothills to focus on my work, her Airbnb has everything you could possibly need during your stay, she's got it all well-stocked, I haven't needed to ask her to re-full anything during my two-week stay. The neighborhood is tranquil, with morning flocks of wild parrots nesting near by, it was a delight to wake up to in a city. Parking was easy and accessible, the Airbnb is 15 minutes to Old Pasadena, the location couldn't be better. Thank you Danielle!

Wei-Xing is a lovely host. His accommodation is simple and clean and served my needs just fine. As a woman traveling, I needed safe and clean and affordable. Wei-Xing provided just that. The bathroom and bed linens and towels were clean. He provided shampoo and a great hairdryer and there was a lock on the bedroom door so I felt very safe. Wei-Xing responded to questions, informed me that he would be retired to bed before I arrived late at night. His information was clear and it felt very safe parking on the street and entering the apartment. I had the pleasure of meeting him the next morning and he is a lovely gentleman and very thoughtful. It's not a fancy spot but it is clean and safe. And it was all I needed as I travelled from point A to point B. It's a fine choice for someone who just needs a safe, clean and affordable place to lay their head before one heads toward their next LA adventure.

Wei-Xing’s place is clean and well organized. Check-in was a breeze and his communication all throughout my stay was excellent. The location is also perfect for walking access to CALTECH and the Rose Parade, and easy access (walking or driving) to the center of town.

Wei-Xing is a great host. This was a nice little room with a big bed, private bath and a workspace, just as advertised. Access to Caltech campus was very easy. Would definitely stay again when I'm in town!

Loved staying here! It was easy to find and easy to get in, even when it's dark outside. It's in a great area relative to the rest of the LA area and there was a lot of things to do around the house. Tamryn was very easy to communicate with and she had a very cute dog :) The place had very cute SoCal vibe and it was the perfect vacation weekend getaway.

The apartment is spacious and well laid out. The hosts are very responsive to any issues. There were some burned out light bulbs that they changed immediately. This is a great neighborhood and was very convenient for downtown Pasadena. The fully fenced garden is really nice if you have dogs. There is a dedicated parking place next to the garage. The only thing to be aware of is that there are lots of steps down to the apartment which wasn't a problem for us but would be if you have any mobility issues or a ton of luggage.

I'm so lucky to know this neighborhood. I have visited all the famous tourist spots but this neighborhood is the best. The host was very friendly and had a good response. I will definitely go again :)

The cottage is exactly what I needed for my two week stay. The grounds are beautiful and I spent a lot of time in the relaxing back yard. The shower is not made for those of us taller then 5’ but it was atleast hot and not as inconvenient as I expected it might be. David and Lara are excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beds were comfy, shower water warm and comforting after a long busy day, and the Hollywood style mirror is a must when my bestie and I got dressed for a premier. Bonus points to wonderful sculpture and art on the property- this art historian was in heaven !

This place was an excellent quiet stay on a business trip. Comfortable beds, free Coke's, and more privacy than I expected too. Just a bit of a walk to the metro (average of 10-15 mins) but easy to connect to downtown Pasadena and LA from here. Would stay again!

A great place to be! There is a great little canyon road right in front of the air b n b that offers great views. Not far from the city and near the great mountain roads, so it makes for a great balanced trip!

This tranquil mountain cabin is exactly as it seems, a place to go unwind when life gets a little overwhelming. Communication with the host was great and the scenery was amazing! This is a wonderful place.

It was perfect for a quick stay for our friend’s wedding. We also had our 4 month old baby with us and it was equipped with everything we needed and although the space is small, we comfortably fit 2 adults and a bassinet for the baby. The space is very smartly organized. The second night we stayed there was very intense winds which made it pretty loud but I think that type of weather is pretty rare for LA. We had such an incredibly delightful time at Tatiana's place. Her beautiful and super friendly cat Mop greeted us at the door and instantly warmed our hearts. The rest of the stay was equally wonderful- from the hammock, to the awesome brutalist shower, to the stunning outdoor space. Would definitely recommend staying here. Overall good, the room is large, the heating is sufficient, very quiet, and there is a garage. The disadvantage is that the location is average and the community environment is relatively general. In short, we want to run, but we will not consider this community alone, but it is not dangerous.

I just found my new home away from home in L.A. The space is super-comfortable, and the design is on-point. The space is organized perfectly. Not to mention the comfortable bed. Tatiana showed me around upon arrival and was accessible throughout my visit. I'd recommend this space to anybody.

Besides detergents, cups, plates, pots, spices, cutlery, microwave ovens and coffee makers, I had a lot of things needed for everyday life. It's about 30 minutes drive from Hollywood. Quiet, secluded neighborhood and peaceful. It's hot, and it's hot.

Lovely few days here, we were extra busy exploring LA but for the time we spent in the home it was lovely. Really liked the Netflix on the tv :)

House rule is simple and clear. The place is nice and clean. Small but cozy. The only thing I would complained is I wish the host would have picked up my phone when I was checking out. It was straight hang up for twice. And No response through air bnb app text either.

This is a very special place in a welcoming and beautiful neighborhood... you have all the conveniences as well as proximity to the Rose Bowl and other nearby towns and activities! One morning we saw two flocks of wild parrots flying over ... and an orange crowned warbler in the backyard. Truly this is a great place to stay!

Eric’s place is an absolutely amazing value for your money. The room is simple yet very comfortable and provides all the necessities you may need throughout your stay. The bedroom was actually more spacious than I had even expected. The bed is SUPER comfy for a wonderful night’s rest! I also really appreciated that Eric provided a small heater and an extra blanket as it got quite chilly at night. I used both and felt super cozy. The bathroom was very clean and all the sheets/towels were crispy fresh which is so vital and appreciated when staying at an Airbnb. Eric is a considerate and thoughtful host. And his dog, Nikki, is just an angel! The sweetest dog I have ever met in my life. Absolutely precious. I would definitely come back again and recommend Eric’s place to everyone!! Very quick with responding amazing place

Our second time staying here - and once again we loved the place. I'm sure we will be back again!

Bidan was responsive even though I sent my request last-minute, and her husband helped clean the guesthouse promptly so that I can check-in on time. The room had great furniture and modern designs, and I loved the little touches, such as the Shakespeare sonnets tucked in the cabinets, freshly grounded coffee and bathroom amenities. The option to park on the driveway was extremely helpful and the back area was peaceful and serene - loved the cacophony of birds, hanging vines and lap pool! Bidan and family were welcoming and respectful as well.

Our stay here was wonderful. I needed a place to stay with my husband and skittish cat while we were having work done on our house. Check-in was very easy, and Bidan and her husband are incredibly nice. Bidan was responsive and communicative before, during, and even after the stay. The room is really clean, comfortable, and stylish. There was a large desk and a strong wifi signal, which was perfect because I needed a place to work remotely during the day and into the evening. The shower was also luxurious and got nice and warm very quickly. Parking was a breeze, and it was a wonderful refuge from home construction. We had a wonderful time!

It was a bit far from downtown but it wasn't uncomfortable by renting it. The hosts were so friendly and the neighborhood was so quiet that I wanted to be more happy. There's a lot of it in Pasadena and downtown nearby, so I don't have to go to LA!

We stayed here with our small family (6 year old and infant). The space worked out great! The views are breathtaking and the apartment is impeccably clean. There are orange trees in the backyard to pick. We had an absolutely fabulous time!

We were in town for a Birthday party and we are so thankful to of found this place! Everyone was super nice and hospitable!! The casita was super cute and clean! We loved that we had our own private entrance on the side of the main house! We adored the koi pond, the sounds of the water falling on the rocks from the koi pond and all you can eat tangerines and oranges from the trees in the backyard. The location was great and pretty central to everything! We loved the beautiful neighborhood and we felt safe the whole time!! I highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Lawrence's space is the perfect place for a short stay in Pasadena. The space has a beautifully designed, upbeat, Mexican-colored vibe, in a quiet, upscale neighborhood with a beautiful view of the mountains. Lawrence greeted me, showed me the space, and gave me tips for my own Air B and B hosting. Just staying in the beautifully appointed casita is an uplifting experience, which I will definitely repeat the next time work or travel brings me to Pasadena.

Lawrence was an outstanding host. The beautifully decorated Casita met the needs of all 3 of us. The landscaped property was very soothing. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to spend at the Casita since we were in CA for our granddaughter's 3 yr. old birthday party and much work was to be done on that. Lawrence was very kind to our party girl when he met her. I encourage anyone to book the Casita when in the area.

This stay exceeded our already positive expectations! My boyfriend and I stayed at Lawrence's casita for a weekend and were blown away with how thoughtful and welcoming he was as a host. Everything is spot on. Check in was very simple communication was great the space is very nice and clean. Great location for first timers like ourselves who want to see a lot during there stay you are reasonable close to lots of activities, shopping and eating. If you have more than one person there is an extra fee for them but it wasn’t much. I would definitely stay here again.

This pool house is adorable and comfortable. The entrance to the residence can be hard to see at night because of the hedges but just drive slowly and look for the square shaped twinkle lights to the left of the driveway. The pool house is spacious, very clean, has everything you need, and it's very quiet. The curtains don't close all the way in some areas but if that doesn't bother you, you won't even notice. Park in front of the black iron gates that go toward the pool house, where the twinkle lights are. I recommend this place, it's great value.

We really enjoyed the guest house. Bed was really comfy and we appreciated the thoughtful extras like k cups for the kuerig and drinks in the fridge. Bathroom is also well stocked with soft towels, soaps, shampoo and lotion. It was chilly during our stay but the portable heater and wall heater kept the house cozy. Great neighborhood. Felt very safe and was very quiet.

This pool house was a wonderful surprise! We loved the location in an upscale residential neighborhood and a short drive to Santa Anita Park. The pool house is very private. It is just like the pictures but has a larger refrigerator and a cafe dining table. The kitchen was perfect and had a few extras like salt, pepper, oil and other condiments. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Good air conditioning/heating unit as well. We didn't use the pool but would have if we had more time. We'd stay here again!

This place is awesome! The space is super comfy and private. Paul was super welcoming even after being 1 hour late from our original ETA ( we underestimated the California traffic severely ). The space was homey and affordable which is definitely a surprise for it being in LA ! Staying here introduced us to Eagle Rock which we never heard of and now love! The Wild Honey Loft was an excellent stay and we will DEFINITELY be coming back here next time!!

This place is such a nice little funky retreat. Paul was an excellent host, and communication was absolutely perfect. He greeted me when I arrived and showed me the space and all the amenities, he also recommended some places to go within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet, hilly, and feels very peaceful. For anyone traveling, it's conveniently close to Burbank airport. I highly recommend anyone to stay here, chill out, put on some Neil Young records, and feel the vibes of this great Wild Honey Lodge.

This place didn't feel like a garage space. It was very well appointed with everything I needed. Loved the device charging stations and unlimited coffee. The yard and the host house are adorable. It felt like a little paradise back there. Kendal is super hands-off. No messages, no welcome greeting, no check-out communications. That's all fine with me. I was here for business, not trying to get friendly with the locals. Just good to know in case you expect that sort of thing.

Kendall’s place was great. It’s in a good location, on a tree-lined street, in a very pretty backyard. The space is clean and new with tasteful furnishings and decorations. It’s one room, divided by a tall table separating the kitchen from living area, so there’s a feeling of spaciousness. There’s also a big couch which seems like it would work well for one or two small kids to sleep on. The heating and air conditioning unit is mounted near the ceiling and very effective and the kitchen appliances are new and nice. The place is a very good value for the price and suited the needs of the two of us perfectly. We will definitely return and will recommend.

This our second stay at Caro and AJ’s place. They were super hosts making sure we were comfortable and had anything we needed. The location is excellent! Minutes from the highway but close to all local attractions. Caro and AJ gave us great recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. The bedroom had a closet, ample drawer space and charging stations. The bathroom had nice towels and toiletries.

We loved the apartment and the area. Caro and AJ were very friendly and easily accessible. They made us feel at home right away. The kitchen appliances are top of the line. Place is extra clean and bright. A French press and local coffee was provided and also local citrus😊. We appreciated the hospitality. Amazing place!!

First - I can't wait to visit again! I never thought it was possible to stay in a completely perfect AirBNB. I was first attracted by the flood of light in the living room space and the beautiful design and decor from the AirBNB photos. I decided to book because I feel like a vacation should include natural sunlight, as compared to my dreary view at home. Aesthetics play a huge role in my happiness and this home did not disappoint! My first steps entering the home made me feel so happy and relaxed, the space was beautifully designed, every piece was carefully thought out, from the comfort of the bed and bed linens, to the beautiful touch of color throughout each space and the amazing custom designed guest book with all of the helpful tips and attractions to check out -- wow! I kept saying over and over, this place is PERFECT in every way. It's also conveniently located near the freeway, Trader Joe's and Starbucks - all of the essentials. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, felt safe and the backdrop of the mountains were amazing. Caro was so friendly and accessible and clearly a superhost. There were little touches throughout that made our stay feel welcome. It was super convenient to have off-street parking, and located close enough to a cute downtown area with lots of restaurant options to choose from. If you want to experience a perfect stay with AirBNB, this is your place.

Great place to stay in Pasadena; it’s away from the busy Colorado Blvd area but close enough for a ten minute car ride and you are maybe half an hour away from DTLA (depending on traffic.). I also wanted to commend their heating and cooling system. Very fresh air!

Very nice place! Conveniently located, and Nayan was very communicative and helpful the whole time. We enjoyed using the Jacuzzi on a few nights, the yard was very private and sheltered from the wind even in the cold. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area!
