Places to stay in Pathum Thani
The treehouses sits on the waterfront of Lopburi River. You can kayaking for 1 km. to see Elephants taking a bath, and cycling for 4 kms. to The Ancient city. Here is a meeting place of network among friends in the natural agriculture interest. The treehouses consist of a bedroom, for 2-3 people, a living room downstair, another bunk-bedroom and two terraces facing the river and connects 2 bathrooms. A wooden bridge leading into the water. Kayaking, swimming, and water-play are very convenient.
The treehouse sits in the area between city and villages along a small river, so you could spend a silence moment on any heart's requested. It also exellence for a private meeting, prompt with outdoor kitchen and barbeque.
-Next door of the treehouse is a 4 stars Thai house resort hotel, rice fields and villagers. -Down the river for a kilometer, there is an unseen "elephant bathe" at the elephant kraal pavilion. -Biggest Muslims village and their fast festival (Ramadan). Guests could try different kinds of food. -Certainly, Old capital city of Ayutthaya, a very wide area of ruin palaces, Wat, and much more.
  • What an amazing place with amazing people! We loved our stay in the tree house, it is such a unique place and so peaceful by the river. You can kayak to see elephants bathing in the river and you can cycle around on the bikes which is enjoyable too. Ga is a very kind lady who took us to the night market, made delicious breakfasts, and was such a wealth of information and always willing to help. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place!

  • I would recommend staying here to have an experience of healing, rejuvenation, immersion in village life (water buffalo, elephant, monitor lizard and birds galore) a comfortable bike to town and kayaking to he night market and to the bathing elephants is a once in a lifetime experience. But the Gem of this location is the host Ga... don't let her natural, organic lifestyle fool you... she is also an architect!! And I bet she will spoil you too.

  • The treehouse was just what our family needed during our trip- a bit of relaxation in the middle of our nearly three weeks. The first night Ga took us to a local food market where she helped us feel comfortable choosing different cuisine. Ga supplied a huge breakfast so we didn't want any food til late afternoon the next day, when we then went into the town by ourselves after we enjoyed the canoes, hammocks and had fun on the swings. A few things for other guests that I didn't know are 1. We had the whole treehouse to ourselves-Ga stays in another home about 20 metres away. 2. There is electricity with lots of lighting 3. The toilet is western style

  • Ga is a very friendly and flexible host. He gave us good tips how to get into the city. Also there are two bikes, you can take for free to explore the beautiful historical center of the city. She provides a good breakfast with vegetables, she grows in her own garden. The accommodation was cosy and looks like the pictures. :)

  • Ga was so lovely and kind. I had to cancel the booking because I had an accident in Bangkok and she was so nice and understanding. I really hope to be able to visit soon, as we had been looking forward to our stay so much.

  • This lovely gem is one that I recommend for a great authentic experience. Just a great place for an outdoor and natural experience. Khun Ga is an amazing host who wants her guests to leave with an unforgettable memory

  • For nature lovers travelling Ayutthaya A MUST! Beautiful on the outside (treehouse, rooms & nature) and beautiful on the inside (Ga is the mother of all superhosts). We spent some lovely days by the river, ate Ga's amazing breakfast and we explored the surroundings by kayak (saw elephants). The most beautiful place for relaxing, but also close enough to Ayutthaya if you want to see the temples or night market etc. And Ga taught us how to make Thai pancakes :-)

  • It's been a childhood dream to live in a treehouse, and Ga has made that dream reality for everyone. If you are willing to go off the beaten path and enjoy a truly unique expierence, this is your place to be.

  • Ga is a fabulous host and truly helps her guests have a great experience. Her tree house is right on a quiet river but only 10 minutes drive to town. We loved the location and solitude and beauty of the area. Just a note for future travelers: staying at the tree house is a more rustic experience.... no hot water for showers, no AC, lots of critters (tree frogs, geckos, insects, water monitors), and I would not recommend children 5 and under stay here due to it being high off the ground. However there is electricity and fans are provided. Staying at the tree house will definitely be a highlight of your trip to Thailand. We loved relaxing here, our boys played all day in the river, we rode bicycles and kayaked, and ate excellent food prepared by Ga. I wish there were more AirBnB's like hers!

  • The tree house is a dream come true for those adventurers that don’t look for the noisy crowded areas. It is just paradise! On top of it Ga is the sweetest, warmest, most caring host I have ever crosses by. Her breakfast are outstanding!! She let us use her kayak and bikes... kids could swim in the river. She allowed us to check in early, to leave late... took us to the night market, open her house and heart to our kids and to us... If you are looking for something special, don’t miss it!! Thank you Ga!!

  • I could write an entire review just on Ga! Her kindness and hospitality alone warrant a 5 star review - from picking us up from the airport to taking us to the night markets to calling local music shops so we could find a guitar to bringing us breakfast every day (just to name a few of many wonderful gestures)... I have never met anyone so kind in my life, it was actually inspiring. The actual property was also incredible - even bigger and more impressive than I imagined, it's the treehouse you dreamed of as a child. It was so beautiful laying in the hammock or sitting outside watching the river while petting one of Ga's gorgeous pets. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and we had an amazing time borrowing Ga's canoes to see the elephants bathing. Absolutely amazing experience, I cannot recommend enough. Thank you Ga, we hope to see you again one day :)

  • The tree house is an amazing place to stay. Ga is an amazing, thoughtful and kind hearted host. With her help we did kayaking down the river to see the elephants bathing; cycled twice into ayutthaya and back again; as well as visiting the night market. Each morning she delighted us with her traditional Thai cooking for breakfast, explaining many different things relating to either the cooking or what was in it. Evenings were spent sitting by the river relaxing. Even though it is a little way out it is an easy bike ride into town. We would definitely recommend staying at Ga's place you will not be disappointed.

    Karen2018-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The location is a bit remote but that is contributing to the peacefulness of the place. A very nice and stylish treehouse with the kindest host you can imagine. Ga look after you and nothing is too much. Thanks a lot for the opportunity we had to stay in your beautiful place. Regards Raimond Lyette Veerle and Jelle

  • This is so far the best property i had stay. It's a relaxing and fun place that I really enjoy. You need car as Its quite far away from amenities.

    Richard2018-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • it's such a nice little place hidden away from roads much traveled...the host's hospitality was great, the place was clean & pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay over the weekend very much. Looking forward to the next getaway there..

Enjoy lifestyle staying with local people during your trip in Kanchanaburi jungle
The most quite place beside the river Kwei,2 kilometers far from the Death Railway,6.5 km. to Saiyok elephant park ,12 km. to Prasat Mueang Sing Historical Park, and 63 kilometers to Erawan national park the most importance place where everyone should visit during their trip in Kanchanaburi.
  • Great place, amazingly friendly staff and great host. Be aware that it is not in the city center and you would have to take that into account in case you want to dine out, etc.

    Jorge2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Anupong was a great host. Very hospitable and thoughtful. The staff also very friendly. Even they don't know how to speak English, we communicate just fine by using (Hidden by Airbnb) translate. Haha. The place is very beautiful and wonderful and we never wanted to leave. Hope we can spend more time at the place. Thanks Anupong!

    Aimi2017-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Here is very nice place.

    Han2017-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • Anupong is a great host and very kind. We enjoyed our stay at JungJa hut very much although our child got ill. The beautiful bird and butterfly tree houses, the wonderful pool and the great view on the river compensated our inability to see and discover the local attractions. The organisation and correspondence was perfect, e.g. the pick up at the Kanchanaburi bus terminal and the dinner at the River Kwai bridge on the way to the JungJa hut. JungJa hut is a bit off from Kanchanaburi but a station of the death railway is just 2 km away. So you use it to travel to the JungJa hut. Furthermore a restaurant (steak house) is very close and Anupong's house keeper can buy local Thai food for the guests. The next 7-Eleven is 6 km away. After our stay we can recommend Anupong and his JungJa hut in every sense.

    Jörg2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Anupong is an amazing host and his place is beyond amazing. It's right on the river with a beautiful view from the pool and backyard. The bunks we were in were beautiful, clean, and super cozy. Our bus was delayed and wasn't going to arrive until late Friday, so I told Anupong we would taxi to him. When we arrived at the station, Anupong was waiting for us because he wanted to ensure that we were safe and would be able to find his place! Very kind, accommodating and thoughtful. He also provided us with some drinks and snacks and arranged transportation for us when we wanted to go to the national park. We were all so impressed with how kind and helpful Anupong was, not to mention how surreal his residence is. *The only note is that it is very beautiful because of its seclusion, but that also means restaurants/stores are not in immediate proximity! So bring groceries:)

  • Clean quarters. Amazing views. Great hospitality. Off the beaten path. Loved it. Worth the trip.

  • Here is very comfortable ,rooms are clean and quite and unique ,the workers are kind ,they are friendly ,they help us to call the car to take us to the places we want to go ,during Chinese New Year ,they write Chinese to celebrate this festival ,and they give us fresh fruit .I really really like Jung ja hut

    2018-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a hidden gem in Kanchanaburi. If you want to experience the nature and stay at the lap of River Kwai this is the best resort. We stayed at the tree house and my parents and my wife were awestruck with the breathtaking view from the lobby area. The infinity swimming pool overlooks the river kwai and the hills. This is the only place of our stay in Thailand that cannot be described in words, it can only be experienced. For us it was a peace paradise at the banks of the river Kwai.

  • How do I even begin? This is a pretty magical place. For once, the photos actually undersell the place or don't do it justice! There are mirrors everywhere, reflecting the natural scenery back at you. Even in the dining area (which consists of both a patio and an AC area), the tables are mirrors and reflect the trees that surround you. Everything is incredibly modern, minimalist, and clean. They've really set up the space to feel as private or social as you'd like. There's free ice cream (more like a sorbet) and water in a communal kitchen area, and bikes you can use. At night, the firefly tour is pretty meaningful--take a ride in a boat up the river to find clouds of fireflies pulsating in the trees. In terms of getting there, I took an Uber to the pier and then the public ferry. It was fairly convenient and it was a short walk from there to the treehouse. (The staff gave me a motorbike ride on the way out, the staff is so nice)! Really just a dreamy place, wish I could've stayed longer!

  • Prior to arrival, Mark had been nothing but helpful and attentive to all my inquiries and concerns. We booked 3 units with Mark this time to celebrate mom's birthday. And I have to say the hospitality and location were on point! Golf greeted us with a pretty bouquet of flowers (special for the birthday girl) at the Bangna pier and accompanied us across the river to the place for checkin. Upon arrival, we immediately felt like a different world than the busy city life in Bangkok downtown. And this was exactly what we were looking for. :) Mark was so kind to book us the rooftop table for us to celebrate the dinner. :) The rooms were as pictured only bigger :) clean and neat, that goes without a question. We opted to stay in the hotel instead of the complimentary trip to see fireflies because it is just to relaxing. But from the sunbed on the rooftop in each unit can also see some fireflies in the trees if you're lucky :). Overall, a spectacular experience and definitely recommend!!

  • Everything was wonderful, except for the fact that the WiFi is only accessible in the lobby and not in the rooms.

  • Staying at Bangkok Tree House was a real treat. It was a quick Grab taxi ride from downtown bkk to the dock and an even quicker boat to the tree house! Space was cozy, food was good, and service was wonderful! Highly recommend :)

    Stephen2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely a unique and different place to stay. Enjoyed riding bikes around the area!

    Gretchen2018-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place is sensational!!! Super nice place full of surprised! Highly recommend if you want some unique experience in Bangkok! Traffic is actually much convenient than I thought, the house is very cozy and the staff is very helpful!!

    Raven2016-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • The initial ride there was really tough & troublesome but the moment I checked in, it was worth the trouble. Best for city people looking for an escape into the nature! The nature is real. Sumptuous breakfast every morning, unlimited cold bottle of waters & ice cream, & even a complementary firefly tour! Note that you're not allowed to take picture or attempt to catch the fireflies on your own. Staff's English knowledge is limited but still pretty acceptable & exceptionally helpful too! May not be suitable for friends or new couples to stay together unless you're planning to constipate for the whole stay ;p

  • I had enjoyed my stay because I had felt what it is like to be the local. Being from New York, I had gotten very spoiled, and by choosing Thailand I wanted to experience the country side. I wanted to see the farm and the agricultural life style. In the first hours of the stay I have gotten a tour around the organic farm and the forest, all of the food that is grown there has been planted by students and the workers of the local community. You can see how much hard work has been placed into the plants, all by advanced techniques. If you like working with your hands, you can help at the farm, the help is highly valued and very appreciated. I actually do not speak Thai but the locals where so respectful and nice towards me despite the language barrier. I highly recommend that you visit and learn about the local organic agriculture, (meet the local children, they are thrilled to meet new visitors). Overall, it is a memorable experience!

  • Located outside central Pattaya, there isn't much urbanisation around-great if you love peace and quiet. Small resort not many staff working here. Best customer service I have ever received! Martin is happy to take you around the resort and show you all the animals (otters, prairie dogs, macaques, raccoons & more) and also out in to the national parks if you wish. Price includes breakfast - there is a good choice. Ingredients for lunch and dinner are brought fresh that day. Smoking is not allowed in tree houses/bungalows but you can around the communal areas. Guest coming from the UK will need a two pin flat adaptor (this differs in other parts of Thailand). Overall a beautiful resort- would definitely recommend!

  • This is a truly incredible place to stay. It's in a nature reserve with crocodiles, monkeys, otters, birds and more. All of the rooms are surrounded by nature and it's all so well designed. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. Martin is a true gentleman. He made himself so available in helping us, driving us around... Basically whatever we needed. He really derives pleasure in making people feel welcome. The location is also very good. It's very secluded and perfect for getting away from the noises of big cities. It will require a car to get to or a taxi service, but once you're there you'll feel really relaxed. Overall a perfect trip.

  • If you're staying anywhere else in bangkok you're making a BIG MISTAKE--this is the ONLY place you want to stay. These guys are the epitome of hospitality and go WAY above and beyond the call. This was our honeymoon and we're used to traveling in central/south america where our mediocre spanglish is enough to at least navigate and get by.....we speak ZERO thai and landed at 11:15pm which turned out to be a MUCH bigger difficulty than we imagined and after a 20 hour flight we weren't in our best condition anyway. these guys not only called us but spoke thai to our cab driver to get us to where we needed to be. we had a bigger problem though in that the ferry (you can get to the treehouses shorter route by ferry or longer by a big loop in a taxi). the ferry we needed to take stopped running at midnight--we didn't get into a cab until 11:45.......THEY CALLED THE PIER, SPOKE TO A PRIVATE BOAT DRIVER AND HAD HIM WAIT FOR US AT THE PIER WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT TO ENSURE WE HAD THE ABILITY TO GET THERE WITHOUT (Website hidden by Airbnb) god these guys made our trip and certainly saved my butt with my new wife who was not terribly happy with having such a long flight and things looking so problematic till mark called! i couldn't be more thankful, grateful, or full of more praise.....oh yea! the treehouses! they are amazing, they remind me of if wholefoods opened a boutique hotel on the river bank. there is an amazing church less than 50 yards away, and the staff speaks great english. they have a great little restaurant too. can't say enough good things about them. thanks again!

The treehouses sits on the waterfront of Lopburi River. You can kayaking for 1 km. to see Elephants taking a bath, and cycling for 4 kms. to The Historical Park or Ancient city. The treehouses consist of a bedroom for 2-3 people, a living room downstair, a bunk-bedroom and two terraces facing the river and connects 2 bathrooms. A wooden bridge leading into the water. Kayaking, swimming, and water-play are very convenient. This U-Naam listing is the bunk-bedroom.
The treehouse sits in the area between city and villages along a small river, so you could spend a silence moment on any heart's requested. It also excellence for a private meeting, prompt with outdoor kitchen and barbeque.
  • The treehouse is an incredible location and experience. However, as amazing as it is, it is over shadowed and out done by the exceptional host, Ga. If giving a host 10 stars was an option; she would get them all! She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and make sure that we had everything we needed. She picked us up very late from the bus station, helped us find a laundromat and drove us to the night market for dinner. It was truly an amazing experience. We would recommend staying at her place if you are looking for a quiet, serene, and nature-filled Thailand experience.

  • Our experience at the tree house was so relaxing and we were welcomed by Ga in such a nice way. We enjoyed the homemade drinks and food. The tree house is very well made and has good facilities so that anyone would feel comfortable here. I am so glad to have met Ga because she has such a beautiful soul.

  • While Ga’s place is really some distance from the city centre, it’s truly perfect if you’re looking for a city detox! I don’t think I enjoyed staying somewhere so tranquil and peaceful and close to nature as much as I did at her lovely treehouse! Even the mosquito bites aren’t going to deter me from coming back again! You get to kayak and see elephants bathe, taste wonderful and homemade cuisine, and simply bask in the evening glow of the sunset by the river! Last but definitely not the least, that warm hospitality that radiates from Ga and her friend! Choose her place - you’ll never forget your experience :)

  • We were stunned by the serenity and beauty of the treehouse and it's area. It's so much more beautiful than on the pictures. The house, the area, Ga and her family: it is all in harmony and touched us in the heart. Our stay of two days was too short, our kids did not want to leave her, the river, the swings and the kayaks. Although out of the centre, Ga provided us with bikes and showed us around. This place is soooo much more than a treehouse and/or organic farm. Our next visit to Thailand will for shure be a visit at Ga!

  • By far our best Airbnb experience. The treehouse is beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. Riding bikes to Ayutthaya and kayaking down the river was a really great experience. Ga treated us like family, she helped us with our travel arrangements, cooked us beautiful vegan breakfast (from her garden and handmade soy milk), took us to the local night market, introduced us to traditional Thai foods, shared many ideas with us, and more! Our stay with Ga was the best part of our Thailand experience, and she will always have a place in our heart! This home is so full of love and inspiration, we will be back as soon as possible!

  • Our stay at Ga's tree house was perfect from beginning to finish. I'd say it's a once-in-a-life-time experience but that's not true. I live in Bangkok, only one hour away from Ayutthaya, and I'll definitely go back to the Tree house again. As soon as we arrived and saw the house, we decided right away that we'll stay in for dinner. Ga helped organizing Thai BBQ to be delivered to the house (once we mentioned we'd try to find any restaurant that'd do deliver) without us asking. That was a true hospitality. We were lucky to visit when during rainy season and the water level was high and right up the base floor of the house. We could jump right into the water from our terrace. That was epic. Do NOT miss the opportunity to kayak to see the elephant bathing nearby. That was absolutely wonderful experience. Ga cooked us yummy breakfast in the morning. We were a bit sad when it's time to leave. All my friends loved the place and thanked me repeatedly for bringing them there. Ga was a great host. I highly recommend this house if you're in town.

  • Definitely an unique experience! For nature lovers like us. Lots of greenery and the serenity is beyond words. Enjoy the river right at your doorstep. Kayaking is a must! Love Ga's cooking! Every moment of our stay is a surprise!! We became such great friends with the dogs,Shabu and Suki. Highlight of the stay will be to have elephants as your neighbors. Get up close and personal with a farm of elephants!! Watch them bath and feed them. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ga,Shabu and Suki.

  • Ga's place is lovely, a real treehouse (our room was actually built into three branches of a tree). Everything is very pleasing aesthetically; there is a sweet living room to hang out in, hammocks and chairs facing the lazy river, and beautifully cooked food for breakfast. The treehouse is made with a great deal of care and attention. I was there with my somewhat demanding 3 year old, whom Ga was extremely patient with. My daughter loved the treehouse and climbing up and down the ladders. It was a nice break from Bangkok, not too hard to get to by train and with a real country feel.

  • Had a very enjoyable one night stay here. The place is very well designed, quirky and beautiful. The food was excellent and we felt very well cared for. It could get a little noisy with the boats at times, but this was overshadowed by the beauty of the place and it's uniqueness. I will definitely go here again. Thanks
