Farmers Market
“If you have the love for trying delicious meals and fresh seafood, one place I would highly recommend is the Banzaan Fresh Seafood Market. A place where you get to select your own seafood and other assortments of fresh poultry and meat. You also have the selection to purchase the vegetables you want to eat along with your main course. What I love about this market is after you are done purchasing fresh local products, you then take it all upstairs where their are 15-20 stalls who will prepare your selection for you. Keep in mind that every stall has their own unique method and styles they use to cook the product. The combination is endless and you are only limited by your imagination. Lastly the market also sells fresh local fruits, perfect to take back to your accommodation or the beach for your enjoyment. Local spices are also sold here if you enjoy cooking yourself. ”

“Malin Plaza Patong offers fair prices and an impressive range of souvenirs in Phuket. It's just as bustling as most of the island's markets, but in a cooler environment and with cheaper food available around it. Some of the things you can buy at Malin Plaza Patong include T-shirts, denim, beachwear, bags, luggage, spa products, mobile phone accessories, and a good range of trinkets and souvenirs. Some of the shirt designs at Malin Plaza Patong are quite unique. Very few local markets in Phuket have a tailorshop, making this a good place to visit if you want something a little bit different. Highlights of Malin Plaza Patong The main part of Malin Plaza Patong is protected from the elements under a high metal roof. The semi-permanent shops inside the market occupy former shipping containers. They are well spaced, ensuring that the air remains cool and refreshing – some shops go 1 step further by installing windows, doors, and air conditioning. The prices are maybe a touch higher than you might find in other Phuket markets, but you can still haggle down to an agreeable level. The highlight of the market is the impressive array of food stands in front of the roofed space. You can find just about anything, from Thai street food, fried chicken and chips to crepes, ice cream, sushi, 90-baht cocktails and fresh fruit. The food throughout the market is very good and cheap for Patong. Good to know about Malin Plaza Patong Malin Plaza Patong is a good place for newcomers looking to experience Thai street food at great prices and shop for quality souvenir in Phuket. It's located on the side of the southernmost main road in Patong, between the exits for Rat-U-Thit Road and Sai Kor Road – the market's glowing blue sign is rather impossible to miss. Stadium
“Bangla Boxing Stadium is the latest Muay Thai arena on Patong Beach’s boxing scene. Originally built on Bangla Road on a smaller scale, the stadium kept its name after moving to its new location opposite Banzaan Market on Sai Kor Road, the new large thoroughfare passing behind Jungceylon Shopping Mall. The stadium is difficult to miss: it’s a large two-storey building with a first floor made of beige stone-like sculpted cement and features four beer bars with hostesses, while the second floor is an amphitheatre surrounding the ring. At the front of the building you can spot large statues representing Thai boxers. ”

“One of Phuket’s finest all-round dining experiences, Baan Rim Pa is a teakwood house overlooking Patong Bay and serves Thai cuisine with panache. With a fantastic wine selection, an elegant wait staff, traditional dishes served on crisp white tablecloths, Baan Rim Pa is years away from budget Thai eateries. The whole idea behind Baan Rim Pa is to invite diners to sample Royal Thai Cuisine in regal surroundings and it succeeds well, except the seaside location puts the whole experience into overdrive. Opening Hours: Daily from 12pm to 12am Address: 223 Phrabarami Rd, Pa Tong, Kathu District, Phuket 83150, Thailand Tel: +66 (0)93 584 5563”

“Paradise Beach lies around 5 km southwest of Patong, with a coral reef about 100 metres offshore. This 150-metre sheltered beach is managed by Paradise Beach Phuket Club, which offers snorkelling, kayaking, SUP boarding, and scuba diving. You can enjoy good and safe snorkelling as jet skis aren't allowed to get close to the beach. Opening Hours: Daily from 9am to 7pm Location: 109, Muen-Ngern Road, Patong, Kathu, Phuket 83150, Thailand Tel: +66 (0)83 743 9009”

Road
“Bangla Road really comes to life once the sun sets. The road is closed to vehicle traffic and becomes a 400 metre festival of neon lights, loud music and cheap beer. Jammed most nights of the year, it is quite a friendly and lively place to walk around as bars and clubs compete with each other for customers. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Phuket, Bangla Road should be your first (and, often, only) stop. ”

“This is a very nice restaurant with wine pairing . It's quite fancy with while glove treatment and fantastic food and service. I little pricey for Thailand but worth it. Only item I would not recommend on the menu is the steak (same in most places in Thailand) The beef in Thailand does not seem to be that good but everything else is superb .”
