***Note: this is the new listing for 'Cozy cottage in Pisaq with view' ....exactly the same gorgeous house! *** This cozy cottage is in the very best part of Pisac: only a 5 min moto-taxi ride from town, and far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet among the Eucalyptus trees. The river and beautiful trails are a 7-min walk away. Relax on the lounge chairs as you watch the sun set over the Andean mountains, and marvel at the amazing sight of the stars at night. The walk to town is 20 min.
This is the perfect place in a perfect location, with hot water, electricity, Internet, a comfortable bed, a hot shower, lounge chairs to sit on and relax in the garden...just remember you are in the countryside! It's in the best part of Pisac because you are only a 5-min moto taxi ride from town, and yet far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet surrounded by mountains and Eucalyptus trees, and a stunning view of the stars at night.
There are yoga classes nearby at Nidra Wasi, as well as a local market on Thursdays. Melisa Wasi is also very close and offers Ayahuasca ceremonies and massages. There is a little shop at a 3-min walk where you can find all essentials.
  • Karin's place was exactly what I was looking for, a place to relax that is close enough to all of the amenities but far enough from town to sit and enjoy the quiet mountain views. The house was very clean and the upstairs bedroom and balcony were the perfect places to sit and read. The kitchen was great for cooking simple meals and the ceramic water filter provided all of my drinking water. There was a heater available if I needed it, but I did not, and there was hot water in the shower whenever I needed it. Definitely recommend a stay here!

  • The home is beautiful and located in a nice quite area of pisac, still walking distance to town. Karina was very helpful in accommodating our stay and making sure we felt right at home. The amenities work great, which can be challenging to come across in Peru. We recommend this space to anyone visiting the sacred valley. It truly feels like home away from home.

  • I fully recommend a stay here if you are spending a few days in Pisaq and want peace, tranquility and comfort. I had 4 days in the cosy bungalow and didn't want to leave. It was a perfect little living space and it is situated in a lovely garden, full of hummigbirds, at the base of a mountain.

  • A fabulous stay! We enjoyed the beautiful views and the tips about the area! We enjoyed our conversations with Mike and other guests! We shared a meal and a fire with each other! I would very much recommend this fabulous jewel in the sacred valley!

  • If you’re after peace and quiet then this space will be perfect for you. I wish I could have stayed longer. The veggie garden and fruit trees right outside the cottage attracts so much life. The bed was very comfy. Shower warm. Beautiful touches everywhere. Michael was a wonderful host. Highly recommend this spot.

  • Our time in Pisac and the cottage couldn’t be better! The little house is wonderful, it has everything you need. The host is very friendly and helpful, he even drew us a map of Pisac and or surroundings. The walk to Pisac is even and about 15-20 minutes - with a beautiful view. We are so glad we stayed here. Would totally recommend this, as it completes your experience of Pisac and the Sacred Valley!

  • Mike and Julia's place is very cozy and clean, it had with everything we needed, great atmosphere, hot shower and a really comfortable bed... perfect for relaxing. The walk from the city center until the cottage is about 15/20min and totally worth it, specially at night, when you can see stars and feel the good atmosphere from the mountains. Mike was really kind and helpful all the time we were there. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for some relaxing time in Pisac!

    Raissa2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! The bed was very comfortable. The hot shower was the best we had in Peru. The walk to and from town was so beautiful and meditative. Mike was a great host, very attentive and helped us with all the arrangements and recommendations we needed. It was their winter which made for chilly mornings- having a few extra layers to wear is important!

    Jennifer2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely lovely spot, everything that we could have possibly wanted - hot water showers, a gorgeous garden setting, a short walk from town, WiFi and so much more. Thank you for being a great host and sharing this magical place with us Julia!

  • Super friendly host, great local tips, a down to Earth experience with a peaceful environment and lots of Hummingbirds.

  • If I could keep this place a secret, I would. By saying that, I’ve already piqued your curiously too much. For me, it was a little piece of heaven.

    Galo2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay here. This is my second time here; see my previous review. This is a nice place especially if you like a good view, a quiet location, and plants. (it has a very nice garden)

    Hamilton2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time here. The hosts went above and beyond with suggestions and helpful inforMation. Annie helped us plan our time in Peru and Michael set up a day for us in the highlands. It was an incredible day! We loved the gardens and view from our space with mountains all around with so much beauty. The walk to the city center was nice and staying in Pisac was amazing. We enjoyed the slow pace of life there. We also enjoyed connected with the local people here. If we had stayed in Cusco the entire time it would not have been the experiene that we had in Pisac. We would highly recommend staying at this lovely space!

    Lisa2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend it enough. It is simple, remote (a mile or so from town and a memory if arriving by moto, and a meditative walk if on foot), quiet, beautiful in its spareness (though abundantly surrounded with fruit trees, herbs, and flowers where three different kinds of hummingbirds feed), comfortable, and our host Mike, far more than a host in his warm welcome, help, interest - we felt so lucky to have met him!

    Rebecca2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place for quiet and relaxation. The view is great and there are lots of flowers and large hummingbirds and bees. Internet is plenty fast. The water is very good water from the mountain and there is a filter, although it tastes fine without the filter too. The host, Michael, was great and considerate, took care of anything I needed. The walk into town is quite nice and even in the dark, there are lights along the path. Very good for people who enjoy to walk. All in all great value!

    Hamilton2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • The property itself is fantastic with a beautiful view of Pisac and the surrounding mountains. It's close enough to easily get to town by walking (15-20minutes) or Moto Taxi (5-10) while offering enough space to feel like a refuge away from town. The room was spacious and very comfortable with hot water (not always guarantee in the Sacred Valley). Lastly Michael the caretaker elevated my stay from a beautiful Airbnb to a place of deeply meaningful connection. His genorsity of time and knowledge was unparalleled for me in all my Airbnb stays. We ended up going on a hike to an Alpine Laguna lead by one of his friends and elder from a local village who later took us to his family home for lunch and a weaving demonstration and dancing with his family. Words cannot describe this. You won't be dissapointed staying at this magical location.

Atop the most beautiful hill in Pisac, Sacred Valley, overlooking majestic Inca ruins, the Studio Loft is an industrial chic luxury space to decompress after a hike or a retreat. It has a beautifiul riverstone hot tub to relax, High Speed Fiber Optic Internet (yes you Netflix and work remotely) and panoramic views. 5 minutes from town. A 40 minute ride gets you to the Airport or to the heart of Cusco Historic District.
I've designed the Studio Lift to have all the creature comforts you've been missing while traveling through South America. As I live on the top Villa I am available to arrange for day trips to local lagoons or even private tours to Machu Pichu or Rainbow mountain. I've been traveling the world by motorcycle for 3 years and I know exactly what weary travelers need. From laundry to home delivery of gourmet food. You can have all at Wolf Totem Guesthouse
From Wolf Totem there is a 10 minute walk to a nearby river where you can picnic, work out or enjoy the sounds of nature, 25 minutes up the hill you get to the base of the Inca ruins and can explore the lower terraces for free. There several lagoons and waterfalls nearby. Maps will be provided on each villa. The town of Pisac is 5 minutes away by Tuk Tuk. There you can enjoy breakfast of fruit juices at the local market. The town plaza is quaint and a great place to do gift shopping and avoid the Cusco crowds.
  • An amazing place to spend a couple of days. Fantastic views, great kitchen, everything is provided to you for a comfortable and unforgettable stay! Ivan is a great host who provides a ton of recommendations. The stay felt more like a resort than a hostel. Would definitely come back!

    Iliya2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and I had an amazing stay at Wolf Totem. It was in a beautiful location and we met so many amazing people that added to our experience. Ivan has put some great touches to the place, which add to an already stunning environment. Staying here really made for an amazing trip to Pisac. We will miss the morning chats and hopefully will have the opportunity visit again !

    Alexa2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • I spent 2 days in the Studio loft and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It was the perfect place to land after an intensive 2 week retreat. There were uncontrollable issues with water in the space due to adverse weather and Ivan was more than accommodating and attentive to doing what he could to make my stay the best possible. Wouldn't think twice about staying here again. The bathtub was most enjoyable.

    Lori2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location with very nice dogs roaming around, probably the best time I spent in Peru, highly recommend

    Alexander2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • The view from Ivan's place was absolutely breathtaking! Ivan was also very speedy about getting back to me when I had questions or queries. Definitely would recommend!

    Stephanie2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The stay with Ivan was really enjoyable! It was at a beautiful location, waking up every morning and seeing the mountains was an incredible sight and an incredible way to start the morning. It was nice to be able to have dinner at the studio whenever I felt like just staying in and not walking into town. It was some great food at an affordable price! Another plus were the awesome dogs that are on the property, especially the little pup! I would definitely come back to this property whenever I’m in Pisac and would recommend it to any friends/family.

  • If you're looking for the Hilton, don't book this place. But if you're looking for a place with great character and interesting characters, you'll love Wolf Totem. The rooms are a bit rustic but full of urbane and clever touches and fantastic views. The lobby/restaurant area is a great place to hang out, do some work or reading, get to know fellow travelers, take in the incredible views of the mountains and Incan ruins across the valley, or let Ivan, the owner, regale you with stories of his quirky adventures around the world. It really is a great place to stay in Pisac. Ivan has put his heart into this place and has created a place where other travelers can relax and feel cozy and at home. Definitely not the Hilton, but definitely 5 stars, for many great reasons.

    Brian2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ivan was kind and tried to give a lot of information. And I was glad to carry a heavy carrier because the accommodation was on the hill. The concert and the oven pizza in his bar were excellent. Hot water comes out well, atmosphere is very good.

Beautiful two floor adobe house, located in the neighborhood of La Rinconada, right below the archeological ruins. Only a 15 minute walk to Pisac town (4 minute taxi ride). In the first floor there is a double bed room, a bathroom, the kitchen and living room. In the second floor there are two more bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), another bathroom and a beautiful gallery to chill out. It is a perfect place for either a couple, a whole family or a group of friends.
The house has a large garden with a fire pit to enjoy starry nights or a good barbecue.
  • Thanks again for opening up this beautiful space Viterva! A gem just outside of the main city of Pisac.

    Dylan2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • The indoor and outdoor spaces have amazing wood work. Great views all around, close to the downtown.

    Dylan2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Viterva’s place is one of the best in Pisac! The home is in the absolute best location. It’s only a 15 min walk to downtown Pisac where the world renown market is and all the restaurants. The scenery from the home does not get any better. There is a balcony on the second floor with a nice seating area to enjoy all the views. This house is great for 2 couples as the two bedrooms and bathrooms are separated by an entire floor. The WiFi works great and the hot water is abundant. If I ever return to Pisac, I wouldn’t look anywhere else!

    Natalie2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Brand new beautiful house with all the amenities! First, the house has just been completed, so everything is brand new and in wonderful condition. To get to the basics, the bed is really comfortable. The shower truly stays hot for as long as you like. The kitchen is surprisingly well equipped, with a full size fridge, stove and oven, lots of pots, pans, dishes. Now for the area. We absolutely loved Pisac and extended our two day stay to five days, and would have stayed longer. The house is about a ten minute walk to town or a 2 soles tuk tuk ride ( less than a $1 USD). The market in town is great. Lots of really good restaurants. Of course interesting archaeological sites. Many activities. A surprisingy amount of hippie expats, but it just means good music everywhere. After 5 months in Peru, we were surprised to find Pisac and how much we enjoyed it. Viterva is also amazingly responsive. You can’t go wrong staying in the house. It also has a nice garden area. We had our two dogs there and they loved it. There’s lots of walks nearby. It’s one of the places we were sad to leave.

    Benoit & Lindsey2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • It is a wonderful place, the house is immaculate, everything very well, a wonderful place, I recommend it 100%.

    Julio2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Viterva’s wonderfully spacious home. It’s in a great, quiet location in walking distance of Pisac. It’s location makes it very easy to get taxis and access to the Pisac ruins and downtown. Wonderful mountain view’s and great host’s assistance for local activities really made this house perfect for us.

    Robert2019-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Really amazing and beautiful house. Very close to Pisac center and well furnished and decorated. The hosts are very friendly and help with everything

    Guillaume2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Viterva's home is a lovely, spacious place in a beautiful setting near Pisac in the Sacred Valley. The house has plenty of open balconies in common rooms and the bedrooms. The view from the house is spectacular, looking out into the mountains of the Sacred Valley. Just a 15 minute walk to the town of Pisac where you can buy delicious food for great prices or shop the market. Viterva's house is brand new and feels very cozy. The decorations are traditional of this area in Peru and really make you feel like you're living the authentic Peruvian lifestyle. The neighborhood is very quaint and magical, not much traffic, plenty of friendly faces that greet you on the road, and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. I absolutely loved my stay here and will be sure to come back to Viterva's home whenever I visit Pisac.

  • Awesome place and Ivan is super quick to respond to any question

  • Ivan has a little oasis hidden on top of the mountain. This room is a duplex, with a working fireplace for a cozy moment, and a stone bath for a nice warm baths. It’s sexy, stylish and I especially loved the private garden. This place is such a gem. A little hike to get to this casita... just prepare yourself however, once you’ve arrived you will be in love with the beautiful landscape view; so worth the hike! In addition Ivan has a common area lounge that offers great fresh bread and other foods on the menu. If you’re passing through Pisac, do yourself a favour and book any of his rooms bc you won’t be disappointed! And Lastly, Ivan is a great host as well!

  • La Chakana is a very special guest house in Pisac: very friendly, beautifully furnished, sparkling clean with many special touches. The kitchen is fully equipped and it’s only 15 minutes walks from the main village, but above all the manageress Mary makes you feel very at home and is very attentive to your needs. My husband and I were lucky enough to be invited to share Christmas with them. And we had a great time. The rest of the staff is very friendly especially their volunteer Connie who is always there with a big smile and ready to assist you with anything you might need. All in all la Chakana is a hidden treasure in the Sacred Valley waiting to be discovered.

  • La Chakana is a beautiful home base, with thoughtful touches such a fresh flowers throughout. The women who are currently taking care of the space are very kind, and I felt well-supported during my stay. Thank you!

After traveling 3 years on my motorcycle through North and South America I came to stay in many special places. After several days alone on the road there was no better place to arrive than to a beautiful hostel on a great setting with cool peeps to share a beer with. Wolf Totem incorporates everything I loved in hostels all the way to Guatemala to Argentina. Close to town with amazing views. WT has beautiful beds, super hot showers, fast wifi, a boho chic café to hang out, chill and work
Wolf Totem is set on the highest private hill in Pisac. For the intrepid traveller willing climb 120 rugged steps, you'll be rewarded wth a stunning views of our local ruins where you can chill, relax or work on many of our beautiful spaces.... We serve a delish breakfast of freshly cut tropical fruits, topped off with artisinal natural local yogurt topped with dry berries and nuts for 15 soles (about 4.5 US$) Wolf Totem offers everything from doing yoga on our terraced lawns, to painting atop of the hill to working on our boho chic cafe there are lots of areas to find seclusion or to hang with others. This shared dorm features industrial chic beds. Each bed has linen curtains for full privacy, customs retro expedition lamps, a view and usb port for fast charging phones. Each bed comes with a night stand for books, lotions and your little knick knacks so you can create your own little world as well as huge lockers to store all your valuables safely. The bathroom have on demand gas heated super hot showers and has been designed to the same luxurious boho chic standards as the rest to the Wolf Totem areas. The showers are super private and have a large area for changing and beautiful bespoke benches. The mirrors are expansive and each washroom has 2 energy portal for hair dryers and shavers. 5 minutes from town by tuk tuk or a 15 minute walk around the ruins means that you are far enough away from the hussle and bustle of town but close enough to get anything you need. A store for wine, cheese and travel essentials is coming soon!

    Alex2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Not having stayed in a dorm for ages, the stay at Wolf Totem turned out to be just as comfortable and conducive as staying in a private room. As a matter of fact, the bed at Wolf Totem is one of the best slept in while being on the road. All in all, Wolf Totem turned out an ideal place to be, as accurately noted in the many reviews...

  • A great place in the most wonderful landscape. A place to recover and rest for a while. Sitting in the hangmat and enjoying the view... the sauna in the evening after a exhausting trek... eating pizza made in the stone oven. I will stay there again! Thank you Ivan for everything you are a great host and you built a incredible unique hostel.

  • Stay here. It’s removed from town if you need a breath of fresh air after Cusco or Machu Picchu, yet close enough to easily access the markets and restaurants. Also would be a perfect spot for long term Peru. Amazing people and setting. A very agricultural/garden/remote vibe within minutes of the center of Pisac. Be prepared for a dirt road/trail type approach to the property. Follow directions precisely. Be comfortable with steep indoor stairs. And soak up the experience! This is the place to go if you want to have a second away from it all, but have it all available. Clean. Friendly. Comfortable. Michael was so helpful and a pleasure to converse with. Highly recommended!

    Luke2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed at this place for a couple of days after a hike to Machu Picchu and it was much needed break. The apartment is just wonderful with lots of cozy touches, making it feel like a real home, and is perfect for pulling the plug and relaxing a bit. There’s everything you could ask for plus a bit more. The apartment is a small walk from the town of Pisac, which adds to the tranquility. We definitely enjoyed our time there and the talk we had with Michael, who was so kind to share some tips and make us a grand bonfire on our final night.

    Rune2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay with lots of space and great surroundings. Super quiet, a short walk to the village, full kitchen, Michael is a great host who shares his knowledge of the culture and the area. Starry sky at night, herbs in the garden, plus cows and a pleasant climate. Highly recommended.

  • Best Airbnb I’ve stayed in!

    Javier2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful location. The home is simple and comfortable. There is hot water, comfortable beds. The home has two bedrooms, the bottom room has bunk beds. The room with the larger bed is upstairs and you have to climb steep steps. This was not an issue for us but just something to be aware of. This location is magic!

    Daniela2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this beautiful home nestled in Apu Linli. Great views, clean, hot showers, perfect location and wonderful attentive host.

    Claudia2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in the family house. The location is wonderful, it’s a short and enjoyable walk from the center of P’isac. It feels very secluded and peaceful while still being close enough to go into town for food or to catch a taxi to travel elsewhere in The Valley. The kitchen is well stocked to allow you to cook simple meals and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a great choice when exploring Cusco region.

    Samantha2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • The house was in a very nice location. Slightly outside of Pisac. It is about a five minute mototaxi ride or a twenty minute walk. Mike was around most of the time to help us with things. Even had a campfire one night with great conversation. My seven year old daughter enjoyed our time there as well. Thank you Mike for everything.

I've designed the Studio Loft to have all the creature comforts you've been missing while traveling through South America.
  • We had a really nice stay at Wolf Totem. We had a lovely studio with a beautiful view. We also enjoyed the common space which is very well decorated. The fact that another guest, Etienne, taught yoga every morning was a nice surprise!

    Anna2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • In Wolf Totem every aspect is well-conceived. The rooms are created to experience the astonishing view on top on the hill. Through windows daylight enters all rooms to create a naturally warm atmosphere. Creative designed rooms where we felt home from home. The andes sauna was a highlight in a relaxing stay to recharge our batteries. Wolf Totem is a 15 min walk to the town of Pisac which is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Ivan is aiming at perfection with his simple, pragmatic, solution-based, inspiring, innovative and also creative way of thinking.

  • An incredible spot to be surrounded by nature and an overall great experience for the two nights I stayed here. The first day I checked in they were running the sauna which was a nice touch and the following night they had great live music in the restaurant/communal area. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

    Bryan2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • There are plenty of facilities for travelers to enjoy in a homely atmosphere. Hosts and friends are very friendly. In a calm place, time passes luxuriously while interacting with nature and animals. The beds are very comfortable and everything you need is in the room. The bathroom and kitchen were ingenious, and they were wonderful. I would recommend it.

    Yusuke2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great at Ivan’s hostel. We felt safe and comfortable. The setting is lovely! The walk up the hill to get to the hostel never got easier, though. The walk to town was very pleasant and grabbing a tuktuk back to the entrance of the hostel was easy and affordable. We had hot water. The internet was spotty, but we didn’t need it for anything work related, so it was okay. Thanks Ivan for a great stay, and for a puppy-fix while I’m away from my dog for an extended time. 🐕 💛

    Steelie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Hi Ivan, thank you for your hospitality. We absolutely loved staying at your place. Would recommend to anyone! It was such a great experience staying at wolf totem; between amazing views, great food, lovely dogs, delicious food, and wonderful live music. Thank you so much again.

  • My partner and I had a wonderful stay in the cabin. It was very cozy and had a stunning view that is even better in person. Ivan gave us a great recommendation for a hike in the area that was one of the highlights of our trip! As the cabin is quite remote expect some bugs. We had flies and ants but that comes with the territory. Regardless, overall, it was a memorable experience :)

  • Amazing, amazing, amazing! Gorgeous space, gorgeous property. Can’t say enough about this beautiful casita and Pisac! We had the best time using the casita as our home base as we explored the city. The added bonus was the rainstorm we got to experience our first night - the sound of the rain hitting the roof was so incredibly relaxing to fall asleep to. We will definitely be back! xx

This spacious home in the rural area of La Rinconada, Pisac, features two lovely bathrooms with hot showers, a soaking bathtub, modern, fully equipped kitchen, peaceful living room, fenced yard, laundry, fast and reliable WiFi and two meditation and yoga spaces. This modern Pisac home stays warmer in winter months than traditional homes. It’s a great blend of modern construction with traditional nuances. We have an amazing view of the Andes mountains and the Pisac ruins.
We have a lovely house cat that enjoys his time alone for the most part. We are a non-smoking, substance free home. Guests are welcome to enjoy alcoholic beverages at the house, in moderation.
La Rinconada is one of the more peaceful areas in Pisac. It’s rural charm is great for connecting with the Apus, mountains, and getting in touch with one’s self. The sun sets much later here than in other areas, which allows guests to enjoy the sunny outdoor spaces.
  • My stay with Danielle at La Piedra Roja was delightful. She's a very welcoming gracious host, and made my stay feel like home. It was such a nice cozy place to come back to each day to just sink into a quiet, serene, and peaceful environment. I felt the loving care, generosity, and attention she puts into hosting. And I felt completely at ease and safe in the home. Which is important to me, being a female traveling on my own. I'm definitely coming back next time I am in town!

Walking distance to all important places in the town. This loft has a lot of light, the hostess carefully cares about the cleanliness of the house. • This is a very homely place, perfect for a person who is looking for more social and spiritual alignment. Great place, beautiful mountains, the lungs just open up and the heart sings. Gorgeous hosts. Very amazing people. If you are on a spiritual or healing journey, this is one of the best places to be in Peru I believe. How amazing. And very connected. Enjoyed myself greatly, learnt a lot, met some very beautiful people and experienced one of the most beautiful parts of Peru. Ideal for a solo traveller.

If you are into hiking, stay here for sure because there is an amazing trail between the Hotel Royal Inka and the river, and you can literally go hiking in the mountains for hours which is totally my jam! The dogs who live on the property will LOVE to join you for any hikes too, and they are most excellent companions to have along the way.

  • Marcela and Linden were great hosts. I had a couple of snafoos--including forgetting my key one time and having difficulty communicating with a Peruvian airline--and they were extremely helpful and generous with their time and energy. The place was comfortable and nicely decorated.

    Melanie2019-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Marcela was a wonderful host and she made us feel very welcome and at home. Her house is beautifully decorated and located perfectly a bit outside of Pisac and in quiet and nature. Warmly recommend you to stay with her.

With a stunning view of our local ruins...you can chill, relax or work on many of our beautiful spaces.... Wolf Totem also offers 24 hour onsite laundry for 4 soles per kg. Clothes will be delivered folded to your bed. A store for wine, cheese and travel essentials is coming soon!Wolf Totem is set on the highest private hill in Pisac. • We loved the location, the views, and the solitude of this cottage. It gave us the opportunity to rest and acclimatize in the mountains. Even though we never met Eugenia, she stayed in close contact with us and provided quick responses to our questions over great wifi. She even sent someone quickly to check the hot water when we were having trouble using the shower electric shower. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future if we ever get to come back to Pisac.

Our homes are sustainable, passive solar, built from adobe, situated in a hanging valley above the village of Coya, near Pisac in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and surrounded by windswept mountain peaks. The gardens are filled with permaculture beds, orchards and flowers, and a fishpond. You fall asleep to the sound of the mountain streams and wake to birdsong. Perfect for spiritual work, writing, painting, meditation and retreat. Mountain hikes start at the door.
The grounds are 4,500m2, all accesible to guests, and we have goats for milk. We offer guided mountain hikes, trips to Sacred Sites including Machu Picchu and permaculture courses. The market town of Calca is minutes away by bus where you can visit the prize winning farmer's market for shopping, and Pisac is even closer with its alternative culture, restuarants and shops. For those staying longer term there are alternative schools and many activities for personal development and spiritual awakening. We also offer Andean sweat lodges, horse riding, and vegetarian or vegan meals. For those staying longer term and wishing to be involved in projects for reforestation, alternative energy, education and culture for local people we can offer connections and introductions to local groups including the municipality of Coya.
There are lonely lagoons, magical ancient groves of native trees and peaks where one can still see condors and eagles as well as easy access to many Incan Sacred archeological sites. many of the restuarants in Pisac and Calca are high quality organic vegan. The handicraft market in Pisac is famous with many beautiful things to buy as presents or souvenirs. Ideal for those wishing to get away from the matrixed system. This is a sanctuary for awakened people who wish to rest and recuperate, star seeds doing global grid work and those involved in helping to lift consciousness and healing.
  • First, Samuel is a host full of good attentions and concerned for the well being of his "clients", although we feel more neighbor than client. Then the place and the house are very soothing. Green, birds and calm, when at home, the earth of wood and stone. Enjoy !!!

  • Beautiful house located slightly up the mountain (very close to town - 10 mins into the centre), with absolutely stunning views over the sacred valley. Christel and her mother Rosaura were so lovely, very accommodating and looked after us very well. We felt like family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Jade2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing welcoming fibes from Rosaurus being very attentive and guestfree. Beautiful and tastful house with few appon Pisac far away from the busy town. We specially booked this airbnb for the open fireplace so we enjoyed every evening romantic next to the fire. Very enjoyable ♡

  • Wenn really enjoyed our time at Christels and her mothers place! From the beginning on we felt very welcome. Rosaura was always there to help us in any way she could. The house was clean, has everything one needs and is decorated very thoughtfully. I couldn't have thought of any better place to stay in pisac. I reccomend it 100%! You won't regret it ;) Thank you for this awesome time!

    Agnes2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place and hosts. Christel and Rosaura were very caring hosts and their English is good. The house has a fabulous view over Pisac and of the mountains on the other side of the valley. It is very quiet, away from the noise in the town, and it is only about a seven minute walk on a trail down to the town. If you don't want the walk back up the hill, a moto-taxi costs only $1.

    Jon2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Rosaura welcome us (Christels mom) she is very nice and the place is amazing. The view of the Valley it’s espectacular. It’s very nice to talk with Rosaura and Robertito (dog) is very friendly and nice. I really recommend this place very clean and silent to have a time out of the noisy cities.

  • Ivan's place provides the perfect setting for introspection and taking in the energy of the mountains.

    Kiersten2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for 2 weeks and there is only one word to describe this place: epic. All the comforts I needed: kitchen, filtered water in the kitchen, super fast WiFi (I work online and was able to Zoom and upload videos easily), a bathtub! The bed was super comfortable. The views are absolutely amazing, the best I’ve seen in Pisac. I worked a lot out on the balcony. And the vibes are stellar. This place attracts some really interesting, fun, grounded people. And of course, Ivan is beyond wonderful...there for anything you need. The airline lost my luggage on the way in, so he went into town to pick up toothpaste, toothbrush, some essentials I was missing that day. I loved it so much I booked another stay starting in two days :) will absolutely be back.

    Nicole2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Wolf Totem was absolutely incredible. The view from our balcony is something I will never forget and the accommodations were perfect for our needs. Ivan was a fabulous host and helped us secure rides around town and gave us tips on other places to check out around town. We loved our stay so much we extended an extra day, celebrating New Years with a 5 course meal and fireworks! The hike up to the hostel was tricky but so worth it. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Pisac!

    Andrew2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Tom & I had a wonderful stay at Ivan’s villa looking over beautiful Pisac. The walk into town was easy and we took Ivan’s recommendation to hike around Kinsa Cocha Lakes - highly recommend. It was gorgeous! Ivan was also super kind to bring us firewood to make a fire for Christmas night. This spot was a perfect place to disconnect, relax and take in the scenery and activity that Pisac offers. Ivan is also a very generous, helpful host!

    Alexa2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a private and quiet space just outside of Pisac to read, write, explore, or just relax, Wolf Totem is going to be perfect for you! This Villa has a wrap-around porch with a crazy beautiful view- you can have coffee and watch the sun light up the ruins on the far side of the valley or chill at night with drinks under the cozy amber glow of the lights. The Villa is super stylish- all designed by Ivan, plus a comfy bed and great hot water! The kitchen has all the basics you'll need, plus a fridge (double-check this when you're looking- some other places don't). And if you want to hang out, the main kitchen/lounge area is a few steps away and kept toasty with a fire every night. Plus, great beer and food! Ivan is right there to answer any questions, but gives you space and privacy too. Town is about a 15 minute easy walk and has groceries, restaurants, shops, a mercado, and any of that other stuff you want to explore. If you have been traveling for a while like I have and need some space to breathe, this Villa will be great for you:)

    Christi2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place was by far my favorite AirBnB in Peru! If you're willing to walk up the 150 stairs, you won't want to leave once you see the view. The bed was super comfy, there was hot water for every shower, and the view was unbeatable. Ivan was also very helpful, great communication and very helpful once I got to the villa. I highly recommend staying here, I absolutely loved it!

    Kelsey2019-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place!

    Faruk2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • I had a nice stay at the Studio Loft. Ivan was very welcoming and always quick with responding. The hostel is on a hill, which requires a short hike up and down. I enjoyed meditating every morning on the terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. The bed was super comfy, too. The bathroom was quirky- low shower head and you must climb over the bathtub, which is very high. All in all I had a good experience.

  • This place is amazing. Very clean, very cozy, quiet with beautiful views. Daneska is very lovely and really cares about the well being of the hosts. She prepares different breakfasts everyday, and respects special demands (e.g. vegetarian diet). The shared bath is always clean and the relation price-quality is great. Probably the best choice in Pisac. We totally recommend it!

  • Excellent experience.

    Ivona2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The breakfast was perhaps one of the biggest highlights for me. It was much better than your typical included breakfasts from accommodations. Other pluses - it was very clean and well taken care of. The hosts seem to take pride in their hospitality and cooking! It is located about 15 minutes walking from town, but is tucked away just enough so that it is very quiet and peaceful. Our room was very simple with a nice view of the mountains and we took advantage of the hammocks outside our room, which also have a lovely view of the neighboring mountains.

  • This place is amazing! Everything was perfect and they were very helpful with everything we needed including a secure place for my motorcycle. We would have stayed longer if we could

    Casey2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, just outside of Pisac with simple and well designed rooms with a modern rustic feel and beautiful view. Hamlet the owner, head builder and breakfast chef was great to meet and chat with each morning over delicious Spanish tortillas, tea, bread, jam and fruit. He and his daughter are very sweet and clearly care for the place with a lot of love and attention. My only small recommendation would be thicker blankets on the bed. I didn't have an issue, since we had pretty warm nights, but it can get chilly in Pisac at night and it looked like an extra wool blanket would have done the trick. Totally possible it's already available. Just something I'd ask about in colder months. Definitely recommend it.

  • We were very pleased with our stay. This home is absolutely beautiful! Mike is very hospitable and have us some great tips on where to eat and go, he even brought us back some amazing homemade soup from abuelita from the Sunday market! We stayed here at the very end of May, very warm in the daytime but cold at night. Mike has plenty of warm blankets. All you need to do Is bundle up, very warm and cozy. If you need heat he can provide a small space heater for a small fee. But really wasn’t necessary. The home is just a beautiful 20 minutes down (walking). I loved this as its also kinda nice get away and get connected with nature and the beautiful views around. I even used some of the local herbs from the property. :) We would totally stay in this home again!

  • Super nice naturally built casa, with great views of the valley and all you need for a relaxing time. Its a lovely 15 min walk from the town off Pisac, in a calm and quiet area. Mike is a great guy w good knowledge about the area. Really recommend this place for your stay in Pisac!

  • We loved our visit to this home. It is an amazing deal for the space, quality, size and placement of such a home. Mike and Julia were helpful and provided a very welcoming atmosphere. The home has an amazing view of the valley and is very quiet. There property is spectacular and there are so many nooks and spaces where you find peace, quiet, and comfort. The fire pit and pizza oven were such a plus. Bedding and towels were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We would definitely come back to this location in the future. The value is outstanding.

  • A real gem, this beautiful property is conveniently situated on a ridge overlooking the sacred valley just 10 minutes from Pisac-center. Close to town, but far enough away to afford privacy. The house itself is beautifully appointed, with attention to detail. The caretakers of the property--Mike and Julia, are wonderful, kind, warm, helpful and attentive. I can't recommend this space highly enough. Reserve now, you won't regret it!

Our 7 bedroom guest house is a non profit and was created for people who are in a moment of transition/transformation in life or just like to travel in/with Spirit. We offer amazing mountain views, a great location and tranquil, quiet spaces with a wonderful community vibe. All of our rooms include electric bed warmers & down comforters. Our large common areas allow room for yoga or what ever your heart desires. Enjoy relaxing in the hammocks, read, play guitars or take our bikes out for a ride!
Room #7 includes 2 twin beds and mountain view.
We are located just a 15 min walk to town (2 minute moto taxi ride) , where you can find lots of good, healthy eats and to some retreat centers that offer yoga classes, Kirtan, sweat lodges, etc. And of course the Pisac ruins (visible from the guest house) is a 10 min taxi or bus ride to the upper entrance and you can also hike up the ruins from town.
  • We loved La Chakana so much! The room was absolutely beautiful and we had an incredible view of Pisac. Mary, Connie, Dennis, and all of the other people who were helping out we’re extremely friendly and wonderful. We loved using the kitchen and felt right at home in all of the common spaces. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a community vibe while also having lots of privacy and space!
