“You will need to take the boat to get there but if you have time don't hesitate ! Nusa Lembongan is a small island off the southeast coast of the main island of Bali. This island paradise is a world away from the hassle and hectic pace of South Bali. Neither hawkers nor traffic mar the magnificent scenery; this is a fine place to just put your feet up and relax. Main activities include surfing, diving and snorkeling. The water is some of the clearest you will find anywhere, and a vivid aqua blue in colour.”

“The Nusa Islands are a tropical trio less than 30 minutes by boat from mainland Bali. The islands are still considered part of Bali, but you will feel worlds away from the rapid pace and buzz of Kuta and Seminyak. The Nusa Islands are all about enjoying nature, surfing, snorkeling, cliff jumping, hiking and relaxing in a chill island atmosphere.”

“Atuh beach is better to visit when is a high tide, otherwise get really shallow to swim. If you arrived and there is no water to swim, you can walk on the left (facing the sea), along the cliff, you will find there is a path, walk around 300 meters, there will be a place with a nice deepness for a swim, there is no current. ”

“Kelingking Beach is one of the most wonderful scenery at Nusa Penida and one of the most favorite destinations for tourists. You can either go on top of the hill (Manta Point) and enjoy your sunset, or go hike down to the beach for the dip. Important note that you have to put a proper sandal because the trek is quite slippery.”

“A beautiful boat road an hour from the front of the villa takes you to Lembongan , an island with great snorkelling . Take in the great vista on the way including Mt Agung ( the mother volcano). Apart from snorkelling you can hire a bike and travel around the car free island, visit the various beaches and dine on the ocean. Not cheap ( about USD $120 for 4-6 people), but worth it.”

“One of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen. The best for the sunrise. Only for good swimmers, there is a really strong current that can drag you to the open sea. Be careful!”
