We had a great time at Alex's place. The location couldn't have been better - we were right in the middle of Old City, and the view outside the door of the bridge was great. The place was cleanly kept and nicely designed.

Great place! We had an awesome stay here over a weekend we went to the party for the market at reading terminal market. Perfect location: only about a mile walk to market/most of center city. An amazing breakfast place is a few blocks away (sabrinas) and the property itself is large for most studio type units and warm and inviting and unique. Was easy to find. There were little nice touches like some fruit/candies and water bottles to greet us as we came in. The bed was extremely comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more.

A+! Large space for a studio, with the option of sleeper sofas. Easy check in, easy check out (with the car parked directly in front of our unit). Close to any local destinations near the Art Muesum/City Hall and a cheap uber from anywhere else. Will be checking on availability next tim÷ we come to the city!

It's exactly as advertised - well, I lied. It's even better! Alex is a great host with a house that accommodate everyone. Street parking was easy, we could walk to the city or even take a quick 10 minute uber! Def worth staying here.

If you want a truly gorgeous space within a hop, skip, and a jump of the best Fishtown has to offer, don’t look any further. Well-equipped, cozy, and comfy. Zero complaints other than not being able to move in permanently ;)

Amazing location with awesome restaurants and the most beautiful La Colombe steps away. Was a super cute cozy apartment. Hosts had prompt communication and check in was a breeze.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Fishtown. The space is actually much larger than I had expected and we never felt cramped while we were there. The kitchen has sufficient supplies to cook a proper meal, but you won’t want to because you’re a stones throw to so many amazing restaurants. Check in was easy. Check out was even easier — they don’t give you a whole list of chores to do like some places. We got on the road very quickly the morning of departure. The space was friendly for our small dog, and spotless clean for his happy humans. Great stay, and I hope to return.

Great little place in the heart of fishtown. Great hosts, quick to respond to messages.

Overall great space. Super cute house that’s well stocked for cooking and relaxing in an intimate setting and really close to all things Fishtown. Things that were great: (1) the photos are really accurate. Great finishes and decor in the whole house (2) right in the middle of fishtown on a super small street (just big enough for one car to drive down) but right next to the action (3) everything is pretty much new... house, furniture, finishes. (4) check in and communication with hosts were great and very professional (5) the kitchen had lots of pots and pans, a blender, a microwave, lots of spatulas and wine opener and all of the basics you need. I’d say it was top 2% of Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in for ability to actually make a meal. A few things you should know before you book... again great house and overall top level experience but sharing for folks these might apply to: (1) the house is a small townhouse so the top floor is the master bedroom and bathroom, the middle floor is the living and kitchen space and the bottom floor (slightly below ground) is the second sleeping area, bathroom and laundry. If you’ve got young kids or folks who have trouble with stairs this isn’t the best for you. (2) There isn’t any parking on the little street the house is on. You’ll need to park on Frankford. It was fine for us over the holidays but parking is tricky around dinner time because of so many great restaurants. But.. it was pretty easy during the day and after 10pm. (3) the second sleeping area was on the ground floor, downstairs. Not quite ground floor and not quite a basement. It was fine for my grown brother but probably not great for a small child because you’d be two levels up. It also didn’t have the best heating in the winter.

This little place was absolutely perfect for a little writers retreat. Thank you!

This place is beautiful! I loved staying here with my girlfriend and we were able to cook dinner in the kitchen, which was well equipped with everything we needed! The bed was nice and comfortable and it warmed up quick. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice overnight stay.

Stayed here for my first trip to Philly (half work/half vacation), and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Took the train to and from the airport, and walked EVERYWHERE else. All the bars, restaurants, and tours I wanted to do were so close. Could also walk to Whole Foods and a few convenience stores. The apartment was clean and cozy, perfect size for a single occupant with a super useful kitchen facility. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Charming neighborhood, I would absolutely stay here again if I come back.

Matt was and has been incredibly responsive to my needs. His place is clean, cozy, and welcoming. I will reserve it again. Thanks for your hospitality. My favs: -Step-in, three head shower. It's a mini cleaning oasis - Availability of Q tips and toothpaste (I ran out) - The deep window seal pockets. Great for placing personal items during an extended stay. - The vast Sun-drenched windows, oh so welcoming. -The high ceilings - The loft bed is sturdy and reliable as a rock. I'm 200 pounds. - The humidifier, helpful for the occasional rise of smokiness from the shop below. It's not overwhelming, just noticeable. Least favs: ( Observations, not complaints) -No place to hang garments during extended stays. Like a suit. - Sleeping pillows are flat and lifeless. But if you put three together, you've got a pillow! I will book again without hesitation. I really enjoyed my time here. I will miss it.

I visit Philly often, and Matthew’s place is my first choice every time. Flawless location, clean and stylish, and the perfect balance of communication and privacy. Host and attendants are friendly and accommodating. I’m about ready to move in!

Excellent everything. Matthew is a great host, you can communicate quickly with him and check in is very easy to do. The only thing I would add that maybe I did not see it is a switch on the top, where the bed is located because climbing the stairs with everything turned off is a bit dangerous. After that, everything was great. Without a doubt if I come back to stay in your loft Matthew, thank you very much

The apartment was just what I needed for a short stay. The bed is very firm, but that is what I prefer so it was absolutely perfect. Clean space. Coffee provided which was very nice! It was very convenient to be able to use the keypad for entry and so much easier than a key. Location was perfect for business trip to the veterinary school. Heater worked perfectly during the winter! The walls are definitely thin, but it did not bother me. I was able to sleep very well and the neighbors were quiet. Thank you for the great stay!

Nancy is a helpful and responsive host, and her place in Philly is clean and comfortable. Nota bene: parking can be tricky--while the street outside is free to park on, spaces are tight and it might be a challenge if you don't have a small car or a lot of practice parallel parking.

Little piece of spacious heaven. I saw the sun rising from the huge windows in the living room, I had space to practice yoga, and everything was sparkling clean. I also felt very safe, as a solo traveler, this is very important ! The host was extremely communicable! I would stay here again.

Brian's place is exactly what he advertises. The bed and blanket it comfortable. The parking meter can be paid from the meter up app from your phone if you don't want to hassle with coins.

Staying here you can expect quick responses, a simple easy check in/ check out experience, and a clean comfy room. The location of this place was perfect with the Philadelphia Museum of Art being a 5 minute walk away and most other locations a short Uber ride away. Would recommend for sure and would have zero problems staying here again.

I had a great one night stay in Philly. The space is very well located, close to Museum of Art, Rocky Steps and Eastern State Penintenciary. In addition, it's easy to access the Old Town by bus or car, as the distance is short and traffic is reasonable. There are exactly three parking spaces on the street in front of the apartment, but these positions have to be paid for during the day. Therefore, to get free parking on the street, you need to park your car a few blocks away. This is the exact information provided in the description of this location. The bathroom is located outside the bedroom. Even though it is private, it may not be comfortable to leave the room at night, for example. Everything was great and clean, so I recommend this place.

Super clean, walking to UPenn, Drexel, Amtrak station, and subway/trolley. Luggage storage to use before and after the stay is a huge plus.

The place was great. My fiancé and I stayed for 1 night for a weekend trip to visit Philadelphia. It’s within a 10 minute drive to hot spots in the city for food and drink. We took an Uber around Saturday night so we could enjoy ourselves, checked out effortlessly on Sunday and spent the day sight seeing. It was a great time - the bathroom was my fiancé’s favorite part. Her comment: “THE TUB!”

The location of this apartment was great. I was able to walk to most places and the train was near by. The only thing I didn’t like was that the building was under construction so it just felt a bit lonely in there. But that’s just my feelings. Otherwise this place was great for my weekend getaway and it was a great price too. I also loved that Lisa provided coffee and tea! And there were also hair scrunchies in the bathroom which I actually needed!

I stayed at Andy's place for two weeks and found it very comfortable. It was much more spacious than I expected. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to the UPenn campus, and there are a lot of good food options on the way. Check-in and check-out were especially easy, and I appreciate Andy for being a good host.

Loved this clean stylish place and the location was fantastic! We had tickets to Helium comedy club and enjoyed being in walking distance. We found free overnight street parking around the corner. We listened to music, cooked breakfast, and tried out the futuristic shower. Would recommend this place for friends traveling, a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a single person visiting for business! It’s a great location for exploring Philly!

The room was perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was a particular feature with a fantastic bathtub that was just the thing after a day of meetings. The coffee maker was welcome, as was the workspace. Communication was clear and useful.

Great place to stay! It’s clean, stylish, and smells good. It is very easy to walk to Universities and restaurants. I was able to parallel park in front of the building because it was the weekend, and the garage was really close if I couldn’t get a spot.

Awesome location in the Spring Garden/museum district area - was totally fine to walk everywhere even late at night - and the hosts were very quick to respond so that I could check in and out super easily. The room and bathroom were clean, very well-supplied and cozy. The one cat I saw was also adorable! And considering the price I'd say this is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Philly. I'd definitely stay here again!

Easily one of the greatest stays of my life. Everything you could ask for was there. Valerie was a super host. She will make sure you have anything you could ever need. The two co-host Batman and Bella are great too.

Jesse and Libby's place was fantastic. The space was clean and cozy. All the appliances are in new condition. And the location is unbeatable, just a couple of blocks from Rittenhouse Square park. The neighborhood is full of great cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and shops. I would happily stay at their place again!

The home was very clean and most of the amenities were available. We had access to a stove, fridge, coffee maker, electric tea pot and toaster. No microwave which would have been handy for the leftovers we brought back, but the home does have all the pots and pans you would need to heat up the food. The location was great. It was about a mile walk to the museums and to several of the tourist spots. An Uber to Independence Visitors center was about $12. It was also about $20 to and from the air port. We could hear the neighbors above us in the morning, but it was never a problem. It was very quiet at night which is when I think most would prefer. Overall I would definitely stay in this home again.

Clean and well located

An adorable flat in a great neighborhood and access to many fun Philly things to do. We were here for an overnight from the suburbs (of Philly) because our daughter had a dance convention near Chinatown. We enjoyed taking the Trolly line and Ubering was easy around the city and not very expensive. We ate at a wonderful Ethiopian restaurant right around the corner from the flat called Almaz Cafe. Amazing! The flat was clean and warm. We love the decoration and the style of the space. It is small, but we loved it. There is a trundle bed or use the couch for a bed as well. Lot of blankets and clean sheets. The bathroom is dated, but it is nice and the water is hot! Remember, you are renting an old house in the oldest city in the US. Also, if you are a guest be curious. The guest before left the space a mess and didn't bother to leave, so for us we ended having to wait for the cleaners - that were very nice and very helpful. And, Jesse and Libby were responsive and VERY accommodating. Thank you so much it was a lovely time in a lovely space! <3

An incredible spot for a weekend getaway. The location is incredible and you can walk pretty much anywhere in the city within minutes. The building is definitely old so you can hear everything in the hallway and sidewalks, so bring a fan or noise maker if that's an issue for year. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the free beer guys!

This place was great! I loved the location. It was close to everything I wanted to do in the city. Perfect for one or two people.

This is a small but super cute and efficient apartment in great location near all the sights in Philly. My son loved sleeping in the loft and I found the sofa bed to be of the kind that feels more like a real bed. We also loved the nice soap, shampoo, etc. that was included - a nice touch!

The space was really cozy and it was super convenient for everything I did over the weekend. There are a ton of stores, sightseeing, and restaurants/bars in the area. Would love to stay again. Also, the bakery a couple of doors down was great!

Everything was perfect, I would stay there again if I go back to Philadelphia.

Great crash pad in the middle of Philly. Pros: • Location • Very thoughtful touches (fast WiFi, complimentary beer!) • Price Cons: • Shower cycles every few seconds between freezing cold and scalding hot. Very difficult to get a thorough shower. • Building (but not the unit) is a bit rough around the edges. You get what you pay for... • Bring an extension cord. Tough to charge your device near the bed. Neutral: The lofted bed gives you more space but I don’t think it’s necessary. I found it okaayyy but it was slightly more awkward than I anticipated. Bed is comfy though.

This is a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Philly! It’s run by a property management company called the Birdnest Group. It made communication super quick and easy - between Folke, Johnny, Rob, Anna, and Mary we had all our questions answered. Also very clear guidebook and good recommendations. Would stay again!

You can't beat the location here. Be prepared to crawl up into the loft with a sense of adventure! The building was easy to access and I found street parking pretty easily nearby.

Location is great! Anything you may need is nearby and there's many great restaurant/bar options. The apartment is as nice and clean as it looks, check in process was smooth as was communication with the hosts. Great overall experience!

The apartment is quite a bit bigger than I was expecting considering the location. It is a really great space and you are in the middle of Old City with all that has to offer. I was sorry I could only stay for the weekend.

This spot was fantastic. It was walking distance to independence hall and some great restaurants and bars. The space was large and clean. I would highly recommend this slot and would gladly return anytime I visit Philly.

Great place

Wanted to stay in Olde City and found Marco & Kristin's place. We were attending a party at Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen, and this was just steps away. Their apartment was exactly as pictured and described. Clean , comfy and spacious! I had a little difficulty with my phone connection and couldn't locate the lockbox code, and contacted the owners who replied almost immediately! They were very nice... I would definitely recommend their apartment, and I do plan on making a return visit myself!
