“Haymarket is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant offering a juice bar, coffee/tea, and pastries upstairs; and tasty, reasonably priced food (all three meals, daily) in their cozy comfortable cellar. There is interesting art and eclectic antique furniture throughout the space.”

“This is the best espresso you’ll find in Easthampton! The baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are decadent—treat yourself! The “compost” cookie is a favorite of mine, and the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with jalapeño. Yum!”

“I’m from NYC, so I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that these are the best bagels, but Tandem is a very good local staple! I recommend going early if you want your pick of the day’s bagels (as with any bagel place). I enjoy the French toast bagel. I also like to order the oatmeal with fruit sometimes—warm and filling. They have a nice outdoor seating space, and it’s great to sit out there in the spring and summer and have breakfast among the locals. I haven’t had their coffee, but for my fellow tea drinkers, they have a good tea selection—Mighty Leaf, I think! ”

“Tart has no seating—it's a take and go place—but the breads and pastries are top notch. Come early to pick up a breakfast pastry and some tea or coffee; later in the day you can choose from a selection of pies, tarts, macarons, and more. And note: if you buy a pound of coffee, you get a free cup of coffee to go (any size)!”

“Head toward downtown Northampton on the bike path (Manhan Rail Trail), then follow it north toward Florence (a neighborhood of Northampton that has its own small downtown). The Pie Bar features different sweet pies every day, as well as a selection of savory hand pies.”

“You absolutely have to stop by this little gem. They started on 2nd St., hence the name, but moved to 4th Street a few years ago. People rave about their cinnamon buns! Besides the wonderful breads and cakes, they serve breakfast and lunch. Outdoor seating weather permitting.”

“18 MINUTES Yelp Review: Oh. Wow. I was blown away by the quality donuts here. Everything is so fresh and dense and HUGE. These donuts are monstrous. Do not come here if you're watching your diet. But then again, I highly suggest you stop the diet for a morning and treat yourself...because every calorie is worth it. Seriously. Get in your car. NOW! Every donut here is excellent. The glazed crullers are by far the best. ”
