  • Great location for the conference I was doing at a nearby hotel. Very close to Primanti's, a Penn brewery, and a 7-11 isn't too far away. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and had nice towels. I didn't spend any time in the main area, but it looked like a full size kitchen and there was a water jug in the fridge along with a keurig on the counter. Beware that the walls in the room itself are relatively thin, so don't expect to be staying up late chatting with your friends if there's someone in the other room. Fantastic value for the money and extremely easy check in.

  • First, the location is great. It's located downtown and the downtown of Pittsburgh is not big enough so you can go to many places here. The next thing I consider most important is the cleanliness, the beds are clean and the bathrooms and common areas are very clean. The blanket was thick and fluffy so I could sleep warmly as a visitor in late autumn. Satisfied for the price.

    Welcome! We’re located in the safe, residential Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Whether you’re in the city visiting friends and family, are visiting a potential university, or here for a fun getaway, this is a clean, affordable spot with all of the necessities . The space has a private entrance and full private bathroom. For your convenience, we’ve included a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge with small freezer space and toaster complete with cups, plates, and utensils.
    The unit has an entryway room that’s incredibly funky with wallpaper and carpeting from the 70’s. There’s also a bar and two stools in this room. Clearly the previous owners of this house knew how to party. The main room is spacious with a fake fireplace (Don’t get freaked out: it opens as if it were an entryway to a secret passage. In reality, it just hides the water meter.), a desk and chair if you need to get a little work done, a dresser, tv, and closet, and a queen sized bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower (no bathtub), and off the bathroom there’s what looks like a large empty additional room. There was an old hot tub there. If it worked, we would have kept it for you. Sorry! Parking: There is ample, free street parking on the two cross streets, Parklyn and Shire, which are less than a block in either direction of the house.
    We’re super close to 51 and 19, two main arteries heading into downtown, which is about a ten minute drive outside of rush hours. There are some great local bars and restaurants about a 15-20 minute walk or 2-5 minute drive away. There’s an Aldi and a Giant Eagle (grocery store options) a 7-10 minute drive away.

  • Great place to stay for an overnight in Pittsburgh. We booked fairly last minute and the host was very accommodating and even allowed us to check in early. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure is amazing. You can definitely hear what’s going on in the rest of the house, so not the quietest location, but nothing too disruptive and it was quiet overnight. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

    My place is in a residential neighborhood with a full-service grocery store, dry cleaners, gas station, fresh bread factory (open to the public), sidewalks, street lights, plenty of parking, outdoor walking spaces (historic Uniondale Cemetery), and more. I am not within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and other night life, however, all of these types of establishments are within one or two miles. My neighbors are quiet (louder in the summer), and are working class people. You won't see graphity, but you will see people from many walks of life, colors, socio-economic status, and personalities. I love my neighborhood!! Say "Hi" and you WILL get a "Hi" back!

    In a quiet neighborhood of Bellevue, located on the 2nd floor of an 1890's home, this private suit includes 2 large bedrooms, kitchen and bath. Located north of Pittsburgh in the hills above the Ohio river. Ohio River Blvd (PA-65), takes you to the North Shore, River's Casino, Heinz Field, PNC Park, the Cultural and Business District, the convention center. With a rich and diverse cultural heritage there are many fine restaurants and venues. Private entry via lockbox. Flexible arrival/departure.
    The original covered front porch is for relaxing from spring through late fall and looks out on a flower and herb garden scented roses and catmint and butterfly bush. I use plants that attract butterflies and bees. Guests enter through the original wooden and lead glass doors into a large entry area graced by an original fireplace before taking stairs to the 2nd floor. Each bedroom is large with original mantel and fireplace plus large closet. The full-sized antique beds offer fresh soft linens and cozy comforters. Floors are wooden with large period rugs. The modern eat-in kitchen is equipped with new full-sized refrigerator plus microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee pot, toaster and a rice cooker/vegetable steamer. Plates, bowls, cups, glasses, wine glasses, and flatware are provided.
    Short walk to CVS drugstore, park, library, Post Office Giant Eagle Market a few minutes away down the hill on Brighton Rd. Several Pizza and food delivery shops available Plenty of fast-food restaurants on Rt. 65 Various restaurants, bakery, coffee shop and other small town shops on Lincoln Avenue in downtown Bellevue Antique Mall and Red White and Blue thrift store on Rt. 65 A short drive to McKnight Rd. where you will find all the national brand stores and a mall. A short drive to the Village of Sewickley - many late 1800's homes on large lots with trees and flowers. There are restaurants, unique shops including antiques. There is even a Starbucks for those who can't do without. Also, late spring to through fall there is a farmer's market that features great local foods and crafts.

    Located in the heart of Deutschtown in the Northside of Pittsburgh. This historic four-story building was once was an elegant palace with marble mantels, clawfoot tubs, and decadent chandeliers, but over time, it fell into disrepair. A friend and I saw incredible potential in this old building, bought it, and painstakingly over the course of a year totally renovated the space, transforming it into a reinvigorated form of its former glory. In order to connect the building with its history and keep its character, wherever possible, we retained and restored the original architectural details, while simultaneously giving it an industrial-vintage look with modern and eclectic accents.
    Deutschtown, part of Pittsburgh's Northside, is the Brooklyn of Pittsburgh. It's the most racially and economically diverse neighborhood in town, with an array of things to offer: live Jazz, the oldest bar in Pittsburgh, Banjo night, breweries, great restaurants, a huge city park, and more. On top of that, we're within walking/biking distance to the Strip District, Downtown, PNC Park, and Heinz Field.

    Sunny one bedroom apartment in the Strip District of Pittsburgh. Perfect for a couple or individual ready to explore the city! The living room has a huge window, flooding the kitchen and living room with sunshine! Although my space is just over 700 square feet-the 20 foot ceilings in the front room make it airy and spacious. A well equipped kitchen has everything you need for a night in, but with all of the amazing restaurants around, you probably wont want to stay in! Please note, I provide fresh clean linens and towels for you stay but please be sure to bring your own toiletries!
    My neighborhood is FULL of local restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, bars, and shops in walking distance from my apartment. The open markets in the strip make for an exciting afternoon shop(especially on Saturday and Sunday)! I also have a list of my favorite neighborhood spots waiting for you as well as a cool city guide! But if you need some more specialized recommendations, please ask! I love my city and am happy to brag about all it has to offer! My place is a 10 minute walk to downtown, Lawrenceville, and Bloomfield-all fun areas that are equally as exciting as the strip! Whether you're in town to catch a show, attend a convention, or cheer on your favorite sports team-my place will make it super easy to get there quickly and easily!

The host utilized every inch of space very well. Open and spacious with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Our stay was on a weekday, so outside noise was not an issue at all. It was actually too quiet, but the box fan we found in a closet made the perfect amount of white noise! 10/10 would stay here any time we come to the city for a night out!

  • We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great location, close to everything in the south side and there was even a surprisingly awesome bar just two doors down (seriously, go. You won’t be disappointed). The place was very spacious and had all the basics. The kitchen wasn’t that stocked but we didn’t expect it to be. The Brita in the fridge was clutch and the ear plugs by the bed are thoughtful and necessary. You can definitely hear the people staying above, so just be aware. The hosts offered Netflix and Amazon prime. Parking was easy, too. Would definitely stay again!

David and Rachel were quick to help us get in and it took no time to get settled.     You'll be staying in a small tan brick house with three stories and a basement on the third floor of the house. You'll have a double bed and plenty of space to relax and unpack. A large window provides natural light and a beautiful view of the Pittsburgh skyline. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, towels, linens, and toiletries are all provided for your stay. Situated in the Lawrenceville neighborhood, we are a block from Butler Street, close to coffee, entertainment, and fine dining.
    The third floor will be yours while you're staying with us, although there is an office on the other side of your room and the bathroom and all other areas of the house will be shared. Please make yourself at home! Our kitchen, laundry facilities, living room, and outside areas are yours to use while you're staying with us. We have two very friendly cats named Luna and Kuiper, who can be kept out of your room while you're staying if you're allergic or if they’re being pests.
    Lawrenceville is a trendy neighborhood with a population of mostly young people. There are plenty of coffee shops, boutiques, entertainment venues, bars, casual and fine-dining restaurants, and other attractions within walking distance. Our house is a few minutes' walk from a dog park and bike path with a view of the Allegheny River.

Sean was extremely quick to respond to our request to stay and was very accommodating to a request with such short notice. The neighborhood he lives in is our favorite place to visit Pittsburgh. Sean was home when we checked in so we were able to talk to him before heading to bed. We love animals, so we kept the door open and got to visit with his adorable cats.   • This space is perfectly adequate for a place to sleep and stay if you’re looking to spend time in Downtown Pittsburgh. It’s very no-frills and kind of feels like a dormitory, but not in a bad way. It’s very clean, the rules are very clear, there are all the amenities you need, and the beds and sheets are soft and comfortable. If you’re looking for a more personal, special place or getting to know the hosts one-on-one, this might not be the experience you’re looking for. But if you need a good-value place to sleep/eat and plan on spending most of your time out and about, this is ideal.

  • The place is right in downtown, so parking is a bit tricky. The best option : Pay the $20 parking lot thats attached with the apartment building, and book it 24 hrs before. Other than that, youve to park on the street, which is safe too but will take a bit of a walk.

    Newly furnished 2 bedroom house located along the South Side slopes with plenty of space for groups. Accessible driveway for easy parking. Our dining room can hold up to 8 people, and we have about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown or the University of Pittsburgh. We are also very flexible, so we can work together if a you need any special accommodations.
    Gorgeous skyline view. Well decorated with high speed wifi and a smart TV to stream your favorite shows, movies, and sports. One sofa and one pull out couch for both relaxing and sleeping for guests. Plenty of outlets. Excellent for groups.

    Situated in the heart of Squirrel Hill, all sorts of dining, theater, shopping and parks are all within short walking distance. Close by is Pittsburgh's famous Frick Park with endless trails to bike and walk your dog. CMU, Pitt, Chatham, Duquesne, and Oakland are all close by. But why go anywhere else when all you need is right there!
    A large room in a house where no one lives. Lots of privacy. Free street parking out front. There are four rooms I host in this house, and this room is one of them. This room includes a full size memory foam bed, a fold out twin sized memory foam bed (For a third guest typically. Please tell us if you would like to use it. Please do not use it without clean sheets on it.), couch, AC, nightstand with USB charger, ceiling lamp/fan, wall mirror, hair dryer and two chairs.
    Check out some of the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Five vastly different choices just up the street.

  • I was only there for one night and had to leave early in the morning. Parallel parking isn’t my favorite so I parked a short walk away at the HUB garage. When I showed up hungry and tired, Sean, Amy’s roommate was there to greet me with a smile. Rather than send me to my car alone at night he drove me to a great restaurant (where I got Greek and Indian food! Go figure) for take out! We ate together and chatted comfortably until I was tired and needed sleep! It was like visiting an old friend. I met Amy briefly in the morning as I was leaving. We both had our early morning eyes but I told her how grateful I was that Sean made me feel so welcome in her home! I would definitely stay again.

  • Liam's place is THE PERFECT location downtown. In very close proximity to East Carson Street, we were able to walk to dinner (many dinner options nearby) , as well as to a show we were seeing locally. The building is clean, and quiet and had just the right amenities. Liam was extremely thorough and helpful throughout the process in booking, communication, and check-in/check-out. One thing that really made Liam's place stick out to me was his attention to detail and care with the check-in process. He created a full video that went through location, parking, key location, getting into the building, etc...that made my life SIMPLE. Clean accommodations, simple check-in, quick and clear communication, a five-star stay!
