Micka was very hospitable and very quick to respond . His place is almost right by the beach and also super close to 5th Ave. Everything you need is right there within walking distance. It has lovely swimming pool with Buddhas statues as shown in pictures and decor of this hotel condos are very ethnic and gorgeous. Many lounging areas outside and it makes you feel like you are in exotic place like Bali. Apartment is good for a couple and since condo is behind the street side, we didn’t hear loud music from streets inside his condo. It was fairly quiet. Micka is quick with responses, so if you have questions or issues, he is quick to help you. Thought his prices were reasonable for where it is located too.

It was the first time I visited Playa del Carmen, and I loved the apartment, the location is mostly the most, I stay close to everything & the best that was walking. The apartment is as shown in the photo, it has everything necessary (and I would say even more) to make your stay very comfortable, there was a little confusion when the room but quickly resolved the inconvenience Denisse, the truth would return without any doubt

Perfect spot in Playa. Quiet area but very central. Clean, tidy and excellent amenities, especially for the price! Would come back to stay anytime and would thoroughly reccomend to anyone looking for something cute that ticks the boxes.

A great location, affordable, and a cute stylish space. Know that there are some stairs to reach the door. We walked to ado on quinto (20 minutes). Restaurants and corner stores in walking distance. Denisse was very helpful and communicative.

Great place to stay if your on a budget and want to stay in a clean apartment/ studio with very good location at Playa. The studio has everything you need and is clean. The building is not pretty, the building pictures in the ad are not the one the studios are- not sure why they put another building picture cause the building is not bad just not new. Denisse replied very fast and that was lovely.

The apartment is very well located, it is not on the beach but it is literally about 15 steps away, the incredible swimming pools, especially those of adults that are on the 4th floor with sea view, comfortable mattresses, clean towels and excellent location, exceeded our expectations of it's really worth it

The location on calle 38 was fantastic. So many great restaurants. You are 1 block from the beach, near the pedestrian 5th ave but the condo is very quiet. The roof top pool is beautiful with amazing ocean views. Great for sunrise yoga or sunset drinks! We will be back.

Great spot in Playa del Carmen! We enjoyed walking outside of the condo and being right near the beach! The infinity pool was a nice spot on the rooftop too. The place was clean and Micka was very responsive to messages. We did need to schedule a time to check-out with staff, but this was quick and easy. Great recommendations for local spots to check-out provided from Micka!

Guadalupe was very responsive to each of our questions. The accommodation is a little out of the way, which avoids noise, but everything is done very well on foot. Very accommodating host, very clean accommodation, very comfortable bed.

Good option to stay

The space is very well decorated, clean and comfortable. It has the basics for cooking. It is well located, a few streets from Fifth Avenue, very close to supermarkets and food stalls. Near the beach. Safe area for the night. Eloy very attentive.

We had an amazing stay at this condo! The building is beautiful and has wonderful amenities. The unit has all the essentials and was very comfortable. It's conveniently located close to great restaurants and convenience stores to stock the fridge. We will definitely look into staying here again if we return to Playa del Carmen. Thank you!

Benoit's place was perfect for our stay in Playa del Carmen. Two min walk to beach and plenty of great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Benoit and his friend Andrea are extremely responsive and recommended several things to do in the neighborhood. Overall a fantastic stay!

This condo is about as authentic mexican as it gets in PDC~ Absolutely stunning views, breezes, and laid-back vibe. Quiet neighborhood, mostly condos around. There is construction going on , but I preferred that noise to the hustle and bustle of the centro. Close (2 minutes walk) to several restaurants and 20 minutes to ferry. It really is a 30 second walk to the beach! The pool area is beautiful and very quiet. No need for AC as the breeze is heavenly~ The host was extremely responsive and accomodating. Wish we hadn't to leave this relaxing paradise...

Fabulous location near the beach and just far enough away from the bustle of 5th Avenue to be very peaceful. Awesome balcony and a very comfy bed, everything was extremely relaxing and Benoit / Andrea helped us with some excellent recommendations. Would highly recommend staying here, we loved it.

What a beautiful apartment - we had a fantastic stay!! Just as in pictures, so close to downtown and all the restaurants/bars/shops and also to the beach. Easy walk to everything.

Easy check in and Out, nice amenities, good breakfast and kind people

It is not so close to the beach, but if you have no problem walking you get very fast. The cleaning service is very good and breakfast in the morning is very basic but very rich. The hotel has a lot of style and the rooms are very comfortable.

We had a great time staying here and totally recommend it. The place was incredible for the price. Great location. The included breakfast was much better than expected. And the staff was friendly and helpful.

We absolutely recommend the accommodation, it is very very good. The view from the roof terrace is great, and breakfast is also included, where the cook can make sandwiches or make omelets on request. Really very good and conditionally recommendable.

Although we only stayed for one night everything was perfect, the room is nice, the location is quite good since it is very close to 5th avenue, Ángel was always very kind and attentive, certainly highly recommended.

Beautiful stylish and comfortable Studio. The layout is nice it a great size for a single person or couple. The rooftop has a view of the ocean which is quite lovely. And a nice cafe next to the building. Host is quick to respond and check in was easy. I love the concept of the building as well very cool.

Comfortable stay. Location is a bit of a walk and I am glad I had a car. The problem with driving is that there is a large area of paid parking and most non Spanish speakers will have a tough time negotiating the process.

This is such a beautiful place, great location, you can walk to the 5th street buzz. Excellent. I recommend bring a sleep mask though, there’s a bright street light just outside the beautiful sweeping verandah. Other than that, stylish with a great upper floor deck.

My boyfriend & I stayed at the honey b suites for our entire trip in Mexico. We had two rooms we stayed in during our stay. Both rooms were very beautiful and the views in both rooms were great! We had a private balcony. Watching the sun rise was breathtaking. We got some great pictures. The rooftop view was also another great perk! The pool was on the small side but who needs the pool when the beach is a couple blocks away? Claudia & Marc were fast to reply and VERY Informative about directions and arranging car service for pick-up from the airport. Location wise, the building is not too far from grocery stores and 5th Avenue is pleasant walk into downtown. Recommend booking here if you’re in the Playa Del Carmen area.

We stayed at the Opal for a 2 week vacation in Jan 2020. The apartment was everything and more than we had hoped for. The staff was outstanding. The rooftop patio, pool and dining area topped things off. We loved being able to BBQ and have a romantic dinner under the stars. There are so many authentic Mexican eateries within minutes of the location. The Aki supermarket provided us with the groceries that we needed for our breakfast and snacks. The location was perfect as we sped off to the local beaches and cenotes each day. We felt very safe walking in the area even as we strolled the neighborhood after supper. It’s just a few blocks to the famous 5th Ave but without the constant noise. The apartment was kept spotless by the maids and the security was round the clock. We appreciated having the underground parking since there is little by way of street parking. The building also has an elevator, making it convenient for luggage transportation as well a toting our swim gear and groceries. If you don’t want a resort vacation and like to have all the convenience of home, this is just what you need. J & E Ontario Canada

Homing Bird's apartment is in a great location! Walking distance to 5th Avenue, restaurants, convenient stores and a mega mart. We were greeted by the security guard who was super friendly and welcoming. The room is styled beautifully, with a very comfy bed, great cooling system, and a kitchen with it all. The location is very close to 5th Avenue. The area is quiet, has private parking and 24 hour security. The facilities are very good and you can have the pool and gym. I would definitely return to this place the next time.

Really nice place. Close to the city Center. Karen was very nice. She accepted our early checkin at around 12 and was really helpful with local tips. The rooftop terrace is also very nice and welcoming.

What you see is what is in the studio, super comfortable, in our case we were 2 people, in addition to that it is super close to everything, supermarket bank the fifth avenue, the main road, Karen super attentive in case we needed something, definitely what we recommend

Everything was perfect. Mixi was always aware of our needs since we arrived at the airport and until we left the apartment. The house is very beautiful, the view is great and the place is very quiet. What to say about the jacuzzi; It was the cherry of the cake, since being private you enjoy a very relaxing and pleasant moment. Without a doubt, it will be our first option when we return to Playa. The place has all the necessary services, television with Netflix, internet, Mixi is a super host that receives you in a super friendly way and that is pending all the time of your stay in the place, near this location there is a place of incredible seafood that you can not miss and you have nearby plaza las americas where you can take a combi or a truck for a very low cost and move to the beach in 10 min, all the staff of the place is incredibly friendly, it is a quiet place and From which you can move to other places and know other areas of Playa del Carmen.

We loved our stay! We live in a quiet beach town and wanted a night to listen to music and dance till 3 am. Perfect spot for that! Relaxed and soaked in the private hot tub before a late dinner at Zenzi, recommended by our host, Dana. Then we ended at the nightclub. All in walking distance. Very close. Loved the location for what we wanted to do. Dana was incredible. Quick and helpful and so nice . Would most definitely stay there again. Loved everything about the accommodations.

Playa del Carmen is a great place to vacation, and this accommodation is my new favorite! We were greeted by Dana, our contact while we stayed at Dascar’s place and she was absolutely wonderful. She showed us around, gave us the details we needed, and some extra exchange of best-of-the-best places to grab a drink, bite, or start and our adventures! If you love the nightlife that Playa offers and plan on making the most of every night (being a late night) then the club noise many have mentioned shouldn’t bug you, just make sure you know that this accommodation is right on top of the late night action! The style of this location fits the beach-jungle vibe and will not disappoint, there’s a convenience store across the street, and the drinks at Zenzi directly on the beach a street over were my favorite! We would absolutely book again!

This was by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. My partner and I could not be happier that we picked this place. It’s right next to all the best restaurants and a block away from the beach. What more could you ask for?

Will review to the best of my ability as I was unfortunately gravely ill for my entire stay here. Location: literally in the middle of the action. You are a block away from tons of shopping and food, the beach is near, there are bars and nightclubs for partying, and perhaps most convenient is the money exchange place is next door and a seven eleven convenience store is across the street. The actual villas themselves are beautiful. The jacuzzi is solar powered and you have the option to turn off the warmer if it’s too loud but honestly it makes a perfect white noise that balances out the noises from the clubs and people. There’s a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms work well. A/c which we didn’t really need as the places stay relatively cool on their own. The TVs w access to Netflix was a nice touch too. Perhaps the best part of the equation here is Dana the concierge. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful explaining everything. She was a text message away for anything we needed even though we didn’t need much since everything is so well thought through. Looking forward to returning and enjoying this space again

This is a great apartment! Spacious, great location (albeit a bit loud with the street music), tasteful tropical decor, and the private jacuzzi was very nice in the evenings.

This was our second stay in one of Guadalupe’s room! Cozy, clean, and conveniently located close to lots of food, entertainment, and most importantly the beach! She is super accommodating and Eloy is very kind and helpful! We will gladly stay here again next time in Playa :)

If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this is the right one. An excellent location, security outside and inside. It is on a busy avenue. If you like to walk, you are 10 minutes walking to 5th Avenue and 15 from the beach. The very kind welcome. They give you information and are understandable. They give confidence.

Great place to stay!!! Well located

Great location and service

This was one of 2 of the best places at which I stayed, but for very different reasons. Relative to other places I stayed, this was pretty upscale: it was right on the main drag, although at an end that I think was quiet, which was an additional bonus. The beach was a few blocks away. Anything you could want to eat, drink or buy was literally outside the door. It was the only place I stayed which had hot water and water pressure sufficient to wash my hair. The host and front desk allowed me to drop off my bag and leave it there before and after check-out, which was really helpful. It's just a lock-out hotel room and it was completely transactional: I never met the host and everything was self-directed. One negative that the host could not control is that there is construction happening in an attached building, so the noise started at around 8 and didn't finish until 6. I don't know if it was continuous, since I wasn't there most of the day, but one day it woke me up, and another it kept me from napping. 1st world problems. I would love to come again and stay longer - the location really does spoil you.

The house is faithful to the advertisement, authentic, practical and comfortable, the difference that caught my attention was the notebook with tips on restaurants, sights, etc., with location and address. The bathroom is simple, a small sink and a satisfying shower, with hot and cold water, has some items like shampoo, liquid soap, toothpaste, etc. The room is comfortable, with sheets, blankets and towels (bath and face), good pillows. A table and chair, a bookcase and two servants by the bed. Next to it is a small area with clothesline and some preachers. The kitchen has basic items (cutlery, plates, glasses, frying pan, palena, salt, oil, some peppers and coffee). To my liking, it was possible to prepare quality breakfast. The location is great, close to the Wallmart, restaurants of different categories, laundries, gas station, conveniences and 10 minutes (walking) from the beach and the 5th av.

Hosts provide nice touches! Space is approximately 300 Sq ft, which is smaller than what we expected but meets necessities. Very clean, good location.

Pros - the location is great, you are only a few blocks away from la 5ta. You are three blocks away from Walmart and ADO bus station. The apartment has everything you need to live comfortably for a few days. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed is comfortable, AC works perfect, area is safe to walk at night. Cons - none really, you should expect what you see in the pictures. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would love to come back again.

Great location. The place has all you need and it's walking distance to the 5th ave. I communicated with the owners as I needed stronger Wifi for work and they provided me with a different password. All worked well. The place is simple, but nice. I enjoyed my stay. to be recommended!

Excellent location, easily walkable to the beach as well to restaurants, bars, grocery store, bus station, etc. Very much appreciated having a kitchen in the apartment. Rooftop deck with pool provided a nice place to unwind. Easy check-in process. We were able to use the beach club passes one day which was great, however on the second day we were unable to get a chair at the beach club. Yet, overall a great experience.

The space is very comfortable and well decorated, has everything you need. Shower with hot water and good flow, good internet, fast and efficient communication with the host. The location is very good, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, it is well pasted on the ADO (if you go by bus), but it is a little off from 5av (walking).

We were greeted by the owner’s son and he was extremely helpful in explaining everything we needed. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed and more. When we asked for beach chairs to take to the beach, they also provided an umbrella, which was great. The location was great and we found lots of great restaurants off the main tourist area we throughly enjoyed. We went back 3 times to a place called the Pirate and twice had the whole fried fish. Delicious.

We needed a comfortable place to spend our last night in Mexico. We found the listing on AirBnB. It looked too good to be true. The price was great, and it looked beautiful. We contacted the host and booked the studio apartment. It was so stylish and nice! The rooftop pool was fantastic. The host made up feel at home and was great at communication. We were given several suggestions for dining - all were fantastic! It's like they knew us! We had a lovely last night and really appreciated the last minute booking. Thanks! I can't imagine we wouldn't stay here again. It was perfect!

This was the first time I've stayed in an airbnb plus and it definitely felt like something much more refined than I was used to getting. The price worked perfectly well for the location and amenities and the place was just so darn cozy. Had a wonderful time here.

Very beautiful place. It is minutes from Fifth Avenue and the service was excellent.

This place was quite luxurious, with a huge comfortable bed, large TV with Netflix, electronic blinds and A/C, and all the room amenities you would want. The rooftop infinity pool, loungers, and bar service make this an excellent deal, along with the free Martina Beach resort passes you can request at the front desk. The only issue we had was that the hot water pressure for the shower is very low, and you have to wait a while for it to heat up. Aside from that, we absolutely loved the place and felt it was a great deal. Parking underground and staff always present.

Rest in Playa del Carmen, but without being far from fun and beaches ... well, it's here.

Gorgeous place and perfect location! A block away from the hopping 5th Avenue, with endless restaurants and bars and shops. The rooftop pool is gorgeous, and staff are very nice. The room is beautiful, comfy, and clean. I'm already planning a return trip next year with friends!!

We were fascinated with the lodging, prompt response, excellent location, very clean, the space is amazing. It has kitchen with the indispensable sincerely we do not occupy it but from what I saw it is enough to cook. The refri loved it

Greeted by Paola on our arrival and she did the complete apartment walkthrough. Shared some local tips and was very pleasant. The place is 15-20 min walk from good restaurants in the busy area. And the walk itself was safe even at 10 pm. Bring your own toiletries. Beach towels and regular towels were provided. Fridge was stocked with Beer/wine for sale. Coffee was also available for sale. There was ample street parking outside the house. There is a house cat named Sole on the premise who was adorable. Get mosquito repellent generally coz there were a good amount of mosquitos (not specially in apartment but generally) Highly recommend it. Would love to come back to this place if we’re in PDC again.

Villas Del Mar was beautiful! A wonderful location right next to the public beach, and roof deck to see the neighborhood. The apartment was clean and relaxing, and the hosts are extra communicative.

This place is a dream!!!! Defiantly different that other places we’ve stayed at because we are used to resorts, however much more prefer this quiet Sanctuary! Stefano and his family were amazing and took fantastic care of us!!

Great location. Close to the beach, about a mile to the main drag but close enough to walk! Cabs are super easy to catch too just walk a bit down tenth and you should get one between 40-60 pesos. The place was clean and beautiful! Stefano and Paola were so helpful with local tips and guidance with swift responses. Everything you need and more was available here and we would definitely stay again!

Easy to find. Parking safe in front of Villas Del Mar. Nice beach close by. Easy walk to Fifth Ave Area. Safe walk night and day. We love utilizing the upper decks for evening cocktails and morning coffee. Stefano is great and responds quickly to texts. Fun and classy place. Local neighborhood is fine once you walk around and realize you are safe. People just living their lives!

Definitely a great place. I traveled with my wife and the place was ideal for couples, nice, clean and comfortable. The location is just two blocks from 5th Ave. and that makes it great for walkers. The attention of Morena as a hostess raises the quality without a doubt, always smiling, kind, punctual and with excellent communication. I must add that if you take a car, the apartment has no place to park, you must pay by parking meter and leave it on the street, which is a municipality rule, no fault of the hosts, and something good, is that the area where The apartment is nice and safe. A huge thanks to Morena and Piero.

The apartment was definitely one of my favorites in Playa! The apartment itself was beautiful and the rooftop pool made it even better! It’s a great location perfect for walking to everything. Mrs. Morena was also a great host. Always made sure we were okay and had everything we need! 10/10 will stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very nice to have our own privat pool. The woman we communicated with, Mornea, was super nice and friendly! The appartment is very well located, close enough to the 5th avenue, but not too close so we still had sone time away from all the tourists.

Denisse’s place is great for single or couple. It’s simple, clean, quiet, not big but pretty enough for comfortable stay, especially if guests spend only nights there as I did. The place is excellent, I would definitely return, the location is very good and the area where the apartment is located is very quiet, it rests very well.

Great place for a vacation! Location is perfect, easy access to town center on foot but also far enough to not hear anything. two beaches within ten minutes in foot. Cleaning weekly was a nice touch and the suites are perfect for a short stay. Only criticism is that although the internet is fast, it is not stable. So for digital nomads/workers you will need a coworking space or alternative internet access. Not a problem for vacationers as Netflix will work.
