Breakfast Spot
“Home of the delicious "taco con todo"! Family-run, little Mexican restaurant known for their HUGE breakfast tacos/burritos made with homemade tortillas. Get there EARLY, otherwise expect a line outside the door.”

“Excellent seafood. Period. Great seafood soup, my personal favorite fried shrimp, excellent po' boys. $6 pitchers. Local favorite. Also a fresh seafood market.”

Restaurant
“This is more fine dining - pricier, more upscale, but very delicious. Nice view on the water. Our family of four enjoys it but I wouldn't call it a "family place".”

Seafood Restaurant
“Really great mom and pop place. You are not going for the service, you are going for the food! Excellent all you can eat fish and shrimp (blackened is my favorite). Excellent seafood soup! Very good fajitas for those who do not like seafood. Kids platters available. Very inexpensive!!”

Mexican Restaurant
“This is my dad's favorite place to get breakfast tacos. I always order the potato, egg and cheese and it is delicious added with their salsa. If you order coffee you might want to bring your own sweetener as they only have regular sugar and Sweet'n Low. ”

Bar
“We love this place to get good and reasonably priced pasta - but they also feature seafood. We usually carry-out after a long day at the beach, but I see it has been revamped and has an outdoor patio overlooking the lighthouse - might have to eat there next time. ”

Grocery Store
“Keep in mind there is only one grocery store on the island, so it's a pricier if you want to stock up on a week's worth of groceries. I recommend stopping here or at the Walmart in Port Isabel on your way in.”
