Cute space that was perfect for a one-night stay. $5 Uber to the Old Port and a 10 minute walk from a great brewery that was decently busy on a Sunday afternoon. Would definitely stay again!

This is a giant place with plenty of room for staying in and feeling like you're at home. Perfect part of town, friendly and helpful notes, generally lovely all around.

This place is in a great location. There was a lot of snow while we were there, which made it a little more difficult to walk around the city. Sharon was great about helping us navigate the winter parking bans that were instituted because of the snow. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the ability to exploring the city on foot.

Toms place is amazing! The bed and sheets were the coziest of any AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. I’m big on cleanliness and this place was legitimately spotless. There’s a roku tv so you can sign into Netflix which is great. There’s also all of the kitchen tools you could need. The towels were soft and the bathroom was very nice. Location is out of the world!! So close to many amazing restaurants, bars, things to do. We will be back, our stay was amazing!

This was a great find and a great value. My girlfriend and I were in town for a show at the State Theater--this was the perfect place to stay. An easy walk to the theater even in February, it was also close to quick bites/drinks and coffee like Otto Pizza, Empire, the Speckled Ax, and Bow Street Beverage. The loft was modern, spacious, and clean. It had a great vacation feel, even for someone who is in Portland regularly. And don't under estimate the value of parking being included! The lot was close and well lit at night.

Perfect studio for a couple with everything you need. It was clean and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to. Everything was spotless. Bed and sheets were so soft and comfy. We will definitely be staying here when we visit again.

I spent two nights a Tom's place in the winter months. The location was perfect, close to Portland's downtown and great restaurants, bars, etc. The space itself is very comfortable and has refined style, with thoughtful touches that pleasantly surprised us. It didn't leave anything to be desired. Parking is just across the street and you can come and glad you please with the parking tag. Kudos to Tom for being a fantastic host. We hope to Tom's place in Portland in the warmer months to see another side of the city!

This apartment is great! Close to downtown but in a quite neighborhood. The apartment was sparkling clean and had thoughtful touches including coffee and shampoo in the shower. I recommend to anyone and am hoping to return for another trip to Portland in the future!

Pete's place is the perfect space for a quick stay in Westbrook and AWESOME if you have a dog. The fenced in back yard was fantastic and the loaner chew toys were much appreciated (we loved the artwork, by the way...).

Pete had a very unique apartment. Part of it almost felt like I was living inside an art exhibition! Harley (my dog) and I stayed here for a day. Pete was very accommodating of having a dog and left very clear instructions for everything and check in was a very easy process. There is also access to a fenced in backyard which is ideal for anyone traveling with a pet. The location is also amazing as it is a very close driving distance from the docks/main hub of Portland. Will definitely stay again if I visit!

This airbnb was everything we needed for our visit home. Living in Philadelphia, our dog doesn't get to enjoy a backyard, so Pete's airbnb was a dream for our pup. The apartment was clean and well stocked. The layout was so comfortable and warm. I loved the shower, the water pressure was amazing. My spouse and I look forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful trip to Portland and made even better by this wonderful Air BnB! It’s in a great location, about 10 minutes to downtown Portland, very clean, and many amenities including lots of blankets and toiletries. The apartment is great for a couple, friends, or family. It’s very nice to have a full kitchen as well! There was coffee for the Kureig machine, water bottles in the fridge and even candies around the apartment! Thank you for a great trip-would definitely stay here again :)

This place was so much more than we expected! They had every little detail covered! We had privacy the whole time and were able to do a load of laundry before we headed back home. A 10$ Uber ride away from Old Port and the downtown area of Portland, and they were quick to answer any questions we had. Thanks guys for an amazing stay!

Really incredible spot. The hosts truly thought of every amenity and went above and beyond. Only thing of note is that if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because it’s a thin ceiling. Absolutely no complaints though. Perfect experience.

This is a wonderful place that is not far from downtown Portland or spots such as the Holy Donut. Quiet being located away but not far from main road. The Crooked Mile is a wonderful spot for coffee or lunch on a budget!

What a great find. I found out late that what I thought was an evaluation would actually be a needed dental surgery so I didn’t want to drive five hours round trip the day of. This location was right near the doctors office and was very reasonably priced. Once I got there I found it to be very clean and wonderfully quiet making my stay before and after the surgery perfect. The description is detailed and accurate. I would absolutely consider this spot if my wife and I were able to get a weekend away up here or if I have to come back to Portland for work again. Would highly recommend it!

Wendy's place was cozy and accommodating, it can comfortably fit 3 people and its a 5 minute drive from the city. When I visited in the winter the homeowners were super friendly and worked tirelessly to keep the driveway salted and safe. Wendys place functioned as a perfect place to come back to after a night out in Portland or a day of snowboarding.

Tony’s place is so charming and comfortable! Small, but very cute and perfect for two people who want a cabin getaway, still close to the lively city of Portland! :) The place is very clean, and Tony was the ideal host— responsive and helpful. We felt confident that if we needed anything, he was a short text message or call away! When we arrived, an essential oil diffuser was on, which made it feel like home right away. We miss it already!

Tony's little cabin was perfection! His design style and creativity is awesome. All the amenities you need for a weekend away. Very comfortable bed pillows and furniture. The kitchen is anything to people could want so you don't have to eat out for three meals a day. Location to Olde Port and all surrounding towns is fantastic can't go wrong booking this place.

This was a very last minute trip up to Portland and Tony was very accommodating. The cottage is very cozy and has everything you could need. It is apparent that Tony really cares about his space and wants to provide the best experience for his guests. We can’t wait to be back!

I booked Tony's place for one of my employees who was traveling to Maine for work. There was an unexpected snow storm that required her to check in a day earlier than planned, and also lengthen the stay. Tony was incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating to the last-minute changes.

This is what Airbnb is all about! Ian checked in with me before our arrival to see if there was anything he could help with. He gave us some excellent recommendations for places to go. Ian and Jessica have done an amazing job of making the apartment homey, cozy, and welcoming. They've thought of everything! The decorating is modern/eclectic and creative. There was everything imaginable in the kitchen that you could possibly need for cooking and eating meals there. The bathroom was fully stocked as well. We found special little touches … like a chess set, books and magazines to read, the vinyl record player … all incredibly thoughtful. The bed was comfy and they even had a fan which I use at home for white noise. Felt right at home. Convenient to everything in Portland and South Portland … we will definitely be back. Easy to see why Ian and Jessica are rated as Super hosts!!!

This is the coziest and warmest space. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was just the cherry on top of a great room. The area is about a 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants and venues. Marsha and Krista were wonderful hosts that thought of everything :)

Great stay with Marsha - we appreciated the nice touches (e.g., coffee, tea). It was a ~15-20 minute walk to downtown Portland. Check in was easy and Marsha was communicative. The only downside is having to walk through the backyard in the snow and up a tiny staircase (as noted in the listing).

We were fortunate enough to stay with Marsha overnight in Portland. Being my first AirBnB experience I was honestly a little skeptical. Honestly Marsha blew us away. She was clean, organized, accommodating, and friendly. I'd have no hesitation recommending her to anyone else in the future. In fact I've already shared my experience with my peers and they have noted Marsha's AirBnB for their trips.

Nick's Place is in proximity to everything and what a value for the money! We had an entire two floor/two bedroom apartment to ourselves within a mile of the Old Port. Nick was awesome with speedy replies and when the weather got treacherous he made sure we had off-street parking.

Lovely apartment in an historic neighborhood. Very quiet area. Right near a beautiful park. Our stay included ice skating there with our grandson! There's also a farmer's market in the spring/summer/fall. The apartment is just a few blocks from the main strip, Congress Avenue, loaded with restaurants, book stores, antique shops and other amenities. The furnishings create a calm atmosphere, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is great to work in. Very light and airy overall. Highly recommended. The hosts are super responsive to queries.

The space was clean, well styled, and had the necessities we were looking for (body wash, tea, extra blankets for example.) Check in was super easy and parking was convenient.

A lovely spot in a great location!

My wife, toddler, and I stayed at Francine and Greg's as a stopping point between our flight into Boston and eventual destination of mid-coast Maine. It was a lovely space (and it would be even lovelier in nicer weather), relatively easy to baby proof, and a great location for exploring the city. Sound did seem to travel very easily within the apartment, so if you're traveling with light sleepers who go to bed at different times that's something to think about--but as that didn't apply to us, we had a perfect experience :)

Truly a perfect AirBnb!! The location is amazing. My husband and I wanted to see a lot of Portland in a short period of time, and we liked being right in the middle of everything. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this place was the cleanest AirBnb ever. I was so happy with everything about it. The check-in was easy and I never even had to contact the host. We are heavy sleepers and city people, so the noise outside wasn't an issue, but if you're looking for something quiet this is NOT your place. It's lively outside as one floor down are restaurants and bars. Nothing out of the ordinary for a main street.

We enjoyed the time at Tom’s beautifully designed and sunny apartment. The apartment is located in a beautiful building. His place is very comfortable, super clean and thoughtful equipped with absolutely everything needed and more. Jessie’s place was very clean, cozy, and warm, with high ceilings and plenty of sunshine. It was actually larger than we expected. Check in was easy, and she thought of all the little things travelers might need, from coffee and a vegetable peeler, to dental floss and contact lens solution. There was a snowstorm during our stay and she communicated with us right away about parking and snow removal. You could hear kids playing and running around in the morning, but this was clearly stated in the listing and a white noise machine was provided.

Place was located next to a convenient bus route and was very clean.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The space is immaculate, charming, and so comfortable. We love being out and about in Portland, but ended up staying in and cooking way more than we had planned, just so we could be comfy and enjoy the space. Daniel and Ben don’t live in the area but they are super great at communicating throughout the process. They gave us a bunch of info before and during the whole booking process as well as before and during our stay. The place is a decent distance from everything, although if it’s really cold out in the winter you might want to drive to some of the farther places. The neighborhood is nice and very close to Holy Donut. There is a bunch of information in the form of brochures and pamphlets and Ben and Daniel are very responsive by message if you ever need anything or have any questions. The whole appt is very clean and cozy, the only thing I would change is to maybe have different pillows. The pillows on the bed are pretty hard/dense so if you’re not the type to prefer that type of pillow it could be difficult to get comfortable. (Disclaimer there may be some different extra pillows in the closet , I didn’t check but if there is then disregard this part). Overall Portland is a great city and we hope to be back soon! We plan on trying to stay at Daniel and Bens place next time we are around.

The place was very clean, comfortable, and quite! What more do you need!? Notice it says “ample STREET parking”!...I’m an idiot and parked in the driveway. Got towed while I was out. Cost $100 to get it out the next morning! Oh well!...

Daniel and Ben’s place was spotless and very comfortable. It’s in the perfect location. Close enough to downtown that everything is within walking distance but just far enough away that you also get a peaceful nights sleep. They were very accommodating and responded to all questions right away. We really enjoyed our stay.

Even though Portland is an amazing city with plenty to do, you will LOVE coming back to Daniel and Ben's place because the bed is amazingly comfortable! The shower is fantastic. Their place is about a mile from "downtown," but more importantly, only 600 feet from Holy Donuts. I highly recommend Daniel and Ben's place for your next visit to Portland.

We were very pleased with the neighborhood from which we easily get to our daughter's home in the Back Cove and also all the wonderful shops and restaurants downtown. The place itself was charming and clean and had all the kitchen and bath stuff that anyone would need. Will definitely go back. We had one small problem which didn't affect our stay, nor would it keep us from going back. I mention it only because we were so surprised and pleased with how quickly it was dealt with and resolved.

Great place for a weekend getaway in Portland!

Ken & Moya are great hosts, always available to help guests with a smile on their faces. We had a great time at their place. Amazing view from the living room window to the water, too!

I would just reiterate what a lot of the other positive reviews said - good location for the price, great food within walking distance (even in December), and great communication. I would add that the bed was really comfortable and the apartment was bigger than what we were expecting based on some of the other reviews.

My fiance and I had a lovely stay at this airbnb. It was easy to check in with the lockbox, and we found the apartment to be very cute and clean. The view across the road is so pretty (it looks out onto the water and nearby park). We didn't use the kitchen, as we had family in the area, but it looked nicer than our home kitchen. Ken and Moya left lots of recommendations for places to eat/drink and things to do in the area. They were very communicative hosts from pre-check-in to check-out. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was so easy and hassle free. Clear instructions from where to park and how to get into apartment. Spotlessly clean, tons of needed items all ready for our use. Made our visit to South Portland so so relaxing! Definitely would stay here again.

The binder with local activities and restaurants was super helpful! The place was easy to find and the ubers into town were very inexpensive. The place was stocked with many amenities for our stay.

Super great place for a trip into Portland without being too deep in the city that it’s hard to get around. Even though it’s next to a busy road it’s not loud at all. Very nice!

Location literally could not be better or closer to everything. Space is exactly as described, very clean. Comfy bed, full kitchen and flat screen TV. Parking was super easy and host very responsive. We left an item behind and he was quick to notify us and ship it back to us. We would totally stay agian next time we are in Portland!

Tom’s place was very nice and clean. Right in the middle of town. Great location, comfortable bed, no complaints.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Tom's space in Portland for the weekend, and it was just right for what we needed! The space was larger than I expected, and sparkling clean. Tom gave excellent directions for parking/check-in, and was very prompt to answer any questions/messages we sent. The biggest selling point of this apartment is the location... it is right downtown and is literally steps from where you want to be in Portland! Tom’s space is a clean, cozy apartment in a great location. The apartment was extremely clean, had everything you need for your stay, and was a quick five minute walk to nearby restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our winter weekend here and recommend this listing to anyone during any season in Portland.

Look no further, Debbie's space is perfect! From the start you could tell she puts a lot of thought and effort into every little detail. The space is very clean, has everything you could need, and the location is perfect. There are little notes for everything in the house to make things easy. Waking up with the sun rising through the windows and making your way into the hot tub will be exactly what you need.

Views, special touches, sparking clean, quick responses, great value. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Favorite host and location of all time!

Debbie was a great host! We loved staying at her airbnb! We especially loved the amazing view of the water as well as the sunrise in the morning is stunning off the water! We also took full advantage of the hot tub! Lastly, Debbie was very prompt with responses to any communication we had! We would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Debbie has thought of all the small things! Her home is clean, and all the extra touches go a long way in making you feel comfortable. If you forgot something, there is a supply of frequently needed items, a book of their favorite places around Portland, as well as previous guest notes and recommendations from their stays. The hot tub on the deck is lovely in the winter evenings, and the sunrises - wow! I highly recommend Debbie as a host and her home as a great place to stay for your visit in Portland. It's also very convenient to Portland (just across the bridge) as well as a number of sights to see in the area.

If you want to experience Portland, ME then this is the place to stay. You can Uber downtown for $10 and under 15 minutes. The view is outstanding and the thought that Debbie and Brad put into their space is absolutely unrivaled. Literally could not ask for a better place to stay.

My boyfriend and I visited the area with our fatbikes to check out the trails in the Portland/Freeport area and visit some of our favorite breweries. We didn't want to stay in downtown Portland or worry about overnight parking and this place is in a great location. There's a grocery store nearby and it didn't take long to get into the downtown area for breakfast. We only stayed one night and didn't cook there so I can't comment on the kitchen amenities except that I appreciated the option. The space was very comfortable and warmed up quickly (except the slate floor but there are plenty of rugs). I hope to visit again in the summer and take advantage of the pool and hot tub. My girlfriend and I stayed two nights here in February and loved every second spent in the loft! Instructions upon arriving are simple and clear. The loft is beautifully decorated and had a true feeling of home. We were visiting the Portland & Freeport areas, and this was in the perfect location between the two. I appreciated the coffee options and the non-dairy creamers that we’re provided. We utilized the fridge and some of the kitchenware, but mainly explored nearby restaurants, although we did appreciate the option to cook. One of the nights we stayed it had snowed about 6 inches over night, and Pamela and her family were nice enough to even brush off my car while they were shoveling!! We utilized the hot tub, which was a great addition to the trip! We HIGHLY recommend the loft to anyone considering!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night in February. It was beautiful and clean and looked just like the pictures. The hot tub was an added bonus especially during the cold winter.

Great place in a great location. I've stayed in the group room before, but this is my first time in a private room. This is a much better option if you don't want to wake up too early. Also, nobody else had to listen to me snoring.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The whole place is colorful and filled with fun designs, the staff is kind and communicative, everything is very clean, the check-in and check-out process was easy, and they serve REALLY good coffee in the morning. Not to mention, the location is perfect for walking to wherever you want to go. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is the perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the Old Port in Portland. Just foot steps away are as many bars, restaurants, and shops a person could want. We also loved how stylish and clean the space was. We will definitely come back next time we are in Portland!

Great space, very clean and comfortable, with lots of natural sunlight. A cute living room overlooks the back yard. It’s an attic apartment with slanted walls. And although it’s not a full kitchen (no oven or stove), the microwave oven, toaster, and electric tea kettle were all we needed.

Such a great place! Cozy and quiet, close to Portland and the airport. It was perfect and comfortable. Definitely will stay here again!

Peter and Sabrina were terrific hosts! They were so helpful with recommendations and trying to help find pup friendly places. Their place was spacious, clean and exactly what we needed. They even were able to watch our pup for us while we went out for a night! Can't thank them enough for a great stay.
