Michele's place is outstanding! It has the most amazing views of Positano, which were perfect for watching the fireworks on New Year's. It is super close to the Sita bus (which goes to Sorrento and Amalfi) and the local bus. Great proximity to trails and other lookouts as well. Michele was very generous, providing us with snacks and local recommendations (particularly helpful since lots of places close for the holidays), and was key in helping us recover some lost luggage. He really went above and beyond to make our stay in Positano excellent!

It was really better than expected. In particular, with the careful care and help of Uncle Michele, the Amalfi Line was so smooth that it couldn't be gone. Free biscuits and drinks are available at the property, and you don't need long words. It is a very good location as it is easy and convenient to get to Sita Bus. Rather, it would have been very hard to stay on the shore. Personal part, but it was perfecto! Many thanks-Jane & Austin!

Michele's apartment has everything you need to spend a pleasant stay. To highlight the views from the terrace, watching a sunrise in Positano from there is priceless. It is somewhat far from the center although Michele indicated with pleasure the possible routes to arrive taking a charming walk through its streets or, for the most lazy, the internal bus schedule that leaves you in the main square. We hope to return soon, thanks Michele!

Such an amazing stay in an amazing city. Hosts were communicated very well with us. They had our bags brought up to our room on the day we arrived and back down to the pier. Provided tips on things to do and places to eat. The view from the room was breath taking and the room itself was spacious and clean. We will be back for sure!

My Wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in Chiara’s home. This home sits perfectly on a hill side over looking Positano, it’s on the more picturesque side of the city. The home was perfect for our trip and the pictures provided on AIRBNB do no justice, your have to experience the jaw dropping views from the balcony to truly appreciate the beauty of this location, the home suited our needs perfectly, the air conditioning was perfect and keep us cool during our hot August visit. Very close to a very well appointed food market and only about 270 or so steps to the beach...I say only because in this hilly town that’s not much at all. Very easy check in. We highly recommend this home for a true Positano vacation....

Best accomodation in Positano...location amazing, extra large spacious room... amazing views... fully equipped kitchen Chiara and her husband prompt, helped us with bags, totally welcoming and extra clean room comfortable bed and pillows... like Tina Turner once sang. The view from this apartment is amazing. The amount of photos we took is ridiculous. We choose it because of the view and it didn't let us down. It was lower to part way up the hill. High enough to get great views, low enough not to die waking up the stairs. Joseph greated us with porters to take our bags down which great. (And back up) He showed us through how to use everything. How to get into town etc. There was a supermarket up a short flight of steps, great resturants on this side of town up the road as well. The rooms was spacious, everything spotless, Joseph was around if we needed anything.

After visiting Positano for the first time and walking around the entire city, Chiara’s loft is the place to stay. You will be in a prime location that is close enough to the center but still kept away for more privacy at night. The views are breathtaking and the loft itself exceeding all of our expectations. The walkway to the door is lush with flowers and foliage and that was just the entry. As for the apartment, it was massive and had the best views of the town than any other places we visited during our stay. We had coffee every morning on the terrace and wine in the evening. The bed is very comfortable and sleep was never an issue! If you’re looking to visit Positano, look no further. There is a grocery store right up the steps if you need any provisions whatsoever. Enjoy!

Antonio and Stefania’s mountainside sanctuary was the highlight of our 2 week tour of Southern Italy. We enjoyed everything about the very private space. As other reviewers have noted, there are stairs. But, we enjoyed our walks down to Positano and back up (there is a local bus if you prefer). And, Montepertuso is a perfect starting point for a round trip hike of the Path of the Gods, avoiding the need for making local bus connections. The local market has everything you need for breakfasts on the balcony before you start the day and relaxing dinners at the end of the day. But, be sure to try the local restaurants, which were wonderful experiences. We especially enjoyed the quietness of Montepertuso compared to the high energy environment of Positano.

It was a great pleasure for us to visit the beautiful Positano and stay at this Airbnb. We really enjoyed staying in this cozy beautiful house. The hosts, Antonio and Stefania are lovely and great people, very friendly and responsive. This cozy house is just perfect for two people and you would enjoy how much the host pays attention to details. It was a clean house with necessary facilities all at great shape snd quality. Everything was great and we will definitely recommend this place to friends and families, and we would also love to go back.

This is a slice of heaven near Positano in the village of Montepertuso. The space is lovely. The bed is very comfy. The views are absolutely breathtaking and there was nothing better than having a glass of wine on the terrace at sunset! Only thing to keep in mind is there are a lot of steps. 200 to get from the road down to the residence and it can be tricky to find the first time if you arrive with luggage. Once we figured out the bus schedule and how to get around and navigate the steps we were fine! A beautiful place to stay with a well stocked kitchen and many thoughtful touches!

The space here is beautiful. It is about a 20 minute walk down stairs to the main part of Positano and is about a 30 minute bus ride back up to the apartment. The space was clean and had a beautiful view. The host was very helpful and even arranged our taxi back to the train station for us. We had a nice stay.

Spectacular! Antonio and Stefania were so helpful upon our arrival, and even helped me set up a car service that made our return trip stress-free. The space was spotless and the balcony views are incredible! Montepertuso is a wonderful town, and there's a great restaurant just up the road with outdoor seating looking over the hillside to the ocean. I loved everything about this rental and the location. My only note, and this is absolutely not a complaint, the stairs are no joke! So if accessibility is a concern, keep in mind the flat is only accessible via a decent amount of stairs. Everything about our stay far exceeded my expectations, which were pretty high after reading other reviews. Wish we could have stayed even longer. Highly recommend this spot.

Antonio's airbnb is amazing! Lots of stairs that make for a great workout. Great food 5mins away so you don't have to leave montepertuso. The views are amazing and the apartment is very comfortable. The AC was such a plus given how hot it was. Will be recommending this place to other friends.

The house (very clean, tidy and welcoming) is located in an area where you can easily reach Sorrento, Meta di sorrento. Marco was very helpful with our requests.

This apartment is beautifully renovated and very well kept. The location of it is also great as it's a few minute walk to the Sant'Agnello train station or a short and scenic 25-30 minute walk into Sorrento. Marco was a great host providing a lot of local recommendations and tips as well as going above and beyond as to even offering to pick me up from the Sorrento train station on his scooter. Highly recommend this apartment!

Marco is a fantastic resource for local tips and also just a really friendly guy who seems genuinely interested in making sure his guests have pleasant stays. When I asked if there was a washing machine available, he said I could give it to him and have it done asap; the next afternoon, he brought it to my door all neat and folded. Definitely one of the sweetest Airbnb hosts I've met! The apartment is super spacious and clean (and well-decorated, too). Also, its location right next to Sant'Agnello train station is super super convenient for getting to Sorrento, Pompeii, or Naples. Honestly, I had an awesome stay and was super impressed!

A very attentive host, great advice and met us upon arrival. The apartment was in a nice location about 20 minute walk to sorrento. Great base for a couple with a lovely cafe close by and a few other bars/restaurants.

Stayed in apts out of season, so inside was rather cold, but conditioner was of great help. For the rest all matched photoes and announcement. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Laura's home. Her son Antonio coordinated our check in and provided many helpful tips for our stay in Positano! The views from the balconies are stunning and we really enjoyed staying in the quieter village of Montepertuso just up a ways from main Positano. One recommendation for future guests is to be prepared for the bus ride to and from Positano. It's mainly standing room and definitely requires effort to hold on to luggage as you ride up/down the mountain. The bed is quite firm, so be aware of that if you're used to softer beds. Also, definitely bring ear plugs since there are a couple of roosters that you can hear making noise throughout the day/night. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home!

Great spot with an amazing view!

Little House on the Hill was an amazing 3 story house way up in the hills of Positano. We enjoyed fixing our own meals in the kitchen. We caught up on our laundry. Every evening was enjoyed out on the balcony with a bottle of wine. So serene. There are also a couple of great restaurants and a grocery store nearby. We ate at Donna Rosas and the food was excellent. The only complaint was the crowded bus and irregular time schedule. If you are going to stay that high up for the view you will put up with it. However we did take a taxi back to the train station in Salerno so we wouldn't have to take a taxi down to the bus stop in Positano, then pay for a baggage cart and then for the ferry. It was nice to stay in one place and relax for 4 days.

This was a fantastic experience! Antonio met us at the Airbnb and was very helpful during the check in process. The home is clean, comfortable and welcoming. It’s located in Montepertuso which was perfect for us! It’s about 25 minutes away from Positano and it’s very easy to access all that Positano has to offer via bus. The bus stop is basically right outside the door. The nice part about staying in Montepertuso was that it’s quieter and less crowded than Positano. It was nice to go to the beach/restaurants and then escape the crowds at the end of the night. This airbnb is located close to a local market, perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, etc. & also located next to two fantastic restaurants (we ate at both). I felt that this was a hidden gem and we loved our experience here!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The house was pristine and I would highly recommend. It is in a good location, quiet, with a great view and close to the bus which took us directly to the town centre. We appreciated the host's hospitality and swift communication, we felt very welcome and comfortable.

Sofia and her family well exceeded my expectations!They are warm, hospitable, and accommodating. Mornings were my favorite! The cutest kitties kept me company while I sipped coffee, looking out at the stunning view of Positano. Truly magical!

A fabulous place to stay! We can thoroughly recommend Villa Sofia - it exceeded our expectations. The view from the balcony was the best we have had anywhere - simply breathtaking. Villa Sofia is extremely well located - actually on The Path of the Gods (not to be missed) and this means no steep uphill climb to the start of the walk. As if this is not enough, a breakfast is provided either on your own private terrace or the larger sun terrace. Sofia and Raphael could not have been more friendly or helpful, booking a restaurant on our behalf and helping with parking. We appreciated the information folder in Villa Sofia with lots of advice on where to go, eat, public transport etc - not always provided in Italy. We would not advise bringing your own car as driving the Amalfi Coast is not pleasant with horrendous traffic (even in October) and public transport (or taxi) is easily arranged from Naples Airport. Parking in Nocelle is not easily available and public parking is very expensive. We did not use our hire car while we were their - managing fine with public transport. Once you find a space to park you don’t want to lose it! However, we would definitely return to Villa Sofia - it is a peaceful little corner of paradise not to be missed!

This property is magical. The hosts are kind, generous, and caring people. This property is up in the mountains above Positano. It looks down over the city and seemed almost unreal and mystical at times. We fell completely in love with the environment and the simple life that the Italian families in these hills live. You can walk out the door and be on the Path of the Gods which was an incredible hike......incredible! Two very good restaurants only minutes away and a little country store for some of the basics. Yes, there are lots of steps and it isn’t the easiest place to get to but all of the above outweighs any struggles getting around might cause. We felt like “everyone” was down in the city in the middle of all the tourist chaos while we were floating in the sky above it all. This place was good for our souls. Highly recommend!

We were thrilled and impressed by Sofia and her family and their gracious hospitality, spotless accommodations and fascinating area. This is a really special and magical place. We enjoyed our time with extreme hiking, home-cooked Italian food, lots of outings and just chilling on Sofia's patio and would return anytime.

A must stay! Villa Sofia is located in Nocelle, about a 30 min bus ride from Positano centre. It sounds far, but the bus schedule is so regular and easy to use that it’s worth it to have the space from the crowds down town. Nocelle is a really cute area and villa Sofia is right on the path of the gods so you have easy access. We were there for 5 nights. We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit which had a really comfy bed, cooking station, and beautiful balcony. Sofia is very accommodating and she has family around to support the units. There are some great restaurants around - La Tagliata, Mamma Luisa and Zass (exceptional). Villa Sofia helped us arrange transportation and made reservations for us when needed. We can’t speak enough good about Villa Sofia! For those of you who may have difficulty with your bags they have a donkey carriage that you can pay for bag transfer up and down the steps, so don’t let those steps deter you! Wonderful family owned bnb and 5 star views!

Villa Sofia is a paradise located slightly outside of Positano (but easily accessible by bus). I preferred being out of the way from the busy streets for a quiet, relaxing stay. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, making this trip an unforgettable experience. The breakfast served daily on the terrace was a perfect way to start each morning and they gave lots of great tips for a wonderful trip. I can’t recommend this play enough for your stay in the Amalfi Coast!

Our time in Villa Sofia's was the closest to heaven, myself and my girlfriend could ever possibly be, everything was perfect, including the service, the view (which is spectacular), the kittens in the villa (so cute) and the room itself. Yes, there are steps and yes, you have to get a bus to go into Positano, but this was no bother for us, and allowed us to view the scenery as we were on the bus and gave us half an hour out of our day to rest. We had the most amazing time here, and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Casa De Baker is an Amalfi Coast Dream! The house was spotless and very charming. Incredible views from the patio and all rooms and very nice touches (water filter/sparkling water, Netflix and big TV’s). Location was great; short walking distance to restaurants, beach, and right by the bus stop! Carlo was also fantastic! As our host, he used incredible communication, gave us restaurant/beach recommendations and even set up a car service to the Naples Airport for us! We traveled through Europe for weeks and this was the best experience overall. No question. My girlfriend and I would strongly endorse Casa De Baker for anyone looking for an A+ Positano experience.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend. We arrived via ferry and paid 15 euros to have porter take the bags - worth it. Carlo the manager was highly responsive and available. The location was closer to the local beach (fantastic) and lots of restaurants. It was quick to navigate and bus stop very close. From the ‘center’ of the action to the apartment took us 30 mins up with slow paced step climbing but less than 15 down. The apartment itself was exactly as described and the terrace was amazing...you could sit there for hours admiring the beautiful views.

This was the best place we’ve ever stayed! The host was SO helpful in arranging our driver, letting us in early, accommodating where he could for luggage and bar suggestions. So kind and helpful even way before our trip. Quick responses, clean home close to everything, and the most beautiful and spacious apartment! The view is incredible! Worth every single penny. Can’t wait to be back!

Our stay at Casa Baker was amazing. The pictures really don’t show the charm of this beautiful place in the world...especially the magic of the balcony. We loved that we were not in center of the tourists. It’s a quick walk by road to the marina. Great restaurants really close by and we especially loved getting cappuccino at Posides every morning which is just down the steps. We truly felt like we were part of Positano during our stay. Carlo was a wonderful host and helped us with whatever we needed. I would stay at Casa Baker again in a heart beat.

This is an amazing, special home in an absolutely beautiful place. Yes, the steps aren’t for the faint of heart, but that is the case no matter where you stay in Positano. The apartment is clean, spacious, airy and comfortable. The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. I can’t imagine a better overall experience.

My husband and I stayed for four nights at Casa Baker as a part of our honeymoon in Italy and we could not have been happier about our decision! It's clear that Carlo had put a lot of thought into everything— the house is truly a gem. The interior finishes were elegant and beautiful (the floor tiles omg), the huge terrace was perfect for a night of take out pizza from a nearby restaurant and drinking wine, and other amenities like filtered drinking water, really made our stay extra comfortable. The location is also convenient to everything, but still quiet enough to have some peace away from the hustle and bustle of the mass tourists. Carlo was also wonderful, super communicative, and even went above and beyond to help us check in & out. Don't hesitate to book Casa Baker— highly, highly recommend!

The location is prefect from the bus stop as well as a the beach. The view from the room is amazing. Our check in was smooth and they were very helpful throughout our stay. They even guided us with directions and ways to reach the hotel. The breakfast was amazing!!!!! I would really recommend this hotel if you’re staying in positano.

Just spent 7 nights in beautiful Positano. Our home away from home was Casa Guadagno. While there, Filoteo and everyone else at Casa Guadagno were extremely courteous and helpful. Filoteo arranged for our transportation from/to Naples airport which took some stress off our shoulders. Check-in and check-out were painless. We had a very clean and nicely appointed room with a view of the Mediterranean to die for. Breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection. Definitely would stay here again.

Class Guadagno was everything we could’ve hoped for and more! Beautiful views, delicious breakfast, amazing staff, 10 minute walk to the beach and to the main area of Positano. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! The staff went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had a great stay.

Our stay was great from the second we arrived. We were offered breakfast and a cappuccino and were informed of the area. Our room had a balcony with sea view and was cleaned daily. Breakfast is included and was delicious with a lot of options! Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay. Good location, good recommendations and we finished the night off on the patio watching the sunset. We also ate a number of times at the restaurant downstairs (Pietro’s brother) - seafood pasta & pizza was delicious.

This was a fabulous B&B. Everything was absolutely perfect! Pietro was so helpful and Concetta who brings the delicious breakfast every morning was so warm and welcoming. They made us feel at home. We had a wonderful time during our stay in Positano! The location is central to Positano, yet less touristy than the main beach area. Each morning, we had a delicious breakfast on our patio overlooking the ocean. The hosts helped us make reservations for dinner and the transport of our luggage. Pietro's place has been the best AirBNB we have ever stayed at! Breakfast was amazing, the view was stunning, and their restaurant downstairs was the best we found in Positano (we ate there 3 times!). Pietro was so helpful in giving us advice and recommendations, offering maps, personal tips, and transportation advice. The room was cozy with an amazing atmosphere (the restaurant is right downstairs), and the patio was the perfect place to end the night. We highly recommend Pietro's place to anyone staying in Positano!

Good location and views!

The home is spacious with beautiful views of the sea and the coast. Parking is difficult (need to use a structure), but well worth it. We went in the cold/off season so many shops were closed for winter, but the home was peaceful. You have to walk down steps to get to the front door in this hidden gem. You are able to walk down the road and steps to the beach (good work out). Lots of cooking gear (including a small stove/oven) if you want to eat in (although no corkscrew) and small refrigerator for keeping food cold. Easy check-in and check-out.

This was a great place with a beautiful view! It is a really good location that can be accessed by going down only one flight of stairs from the road. It also is in a good location for walking down to the beach, and all around Positano.

The view here is phenomenal! We loved watching sunrise, sunset, and the stars all from one location. Lots of stairs both to and from the place, but if we went to Positano again in the future I’d stay here again!

Margarita was a great host and very accommodating for early check in. The place is very tidy and has all the amenities you need. Plus it has a great view - the big plus in this place. You can sip coffee in the morning and have dinner at night. And you pay much less than at the hotels for the same view (at least when I went during low season). Many nice touches such as a small bottle of Prosecco and some fruit and cakes. 10min walk to the grocery store up the road and around 20min down to the beach.

Margherita was a great host! She met me upon arrival and oriented me to the home. Her place is very clean and was perfect for my solo night passing through Positano. Location is easy access to bus stop which—after I arrived and starting walking the town’s many stairs—was very thankful for! Highly recommend.

We did a tour of Europe and we wanted to finish in such a place and it was the best of the trip without any doubts regarding the accommodation. The place is beautiful and the best view. Mariana is nice and the communication for checking in was perfect. We arrived to Il Positano with ferry and we use the porter services to bring our luggages to the place. So, we climbed up the stairs with small backpack. It is tiring but doable and I expected this when I planned to stay in Positano. The place as well close to some small groceries and nice restaurants.

Fabiana is one of the most outstanding hosts. Her replies were always quick and accurate. She set us up a cab from the airport making the transfer from Naples to Positano seem-less and set up another cab pick up back to Naples. The room was very clean, and absolutely stunning. The pictures are very accurate. It’s in the perfect location because it’s a little bit outside of where the tour busses drop off the tourists, but there is easy access to the city center and beach. I would highly recommend staying here.

The description of apartment is real, the athmosphere is amazing, location of the apartment is perfect: quiet, altought near enough the town center. Raffaele is answering very quickly to e-mails and he was actively in contact with us asking if everything was all right and he was very helpful in organizing trasportations and the Angela’s wellcoming was warm and heartly. Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay in Positano and the Casa Montechiaro was marvellous place to stay. Amazing hospitality provided by Raffaele and Angela. Their home is in a good location, it was sparkling clean and the view from the balcony was incredible. We loved the place. Raffaele and Angela are wonderful hosts. We thought the location was great. At first it seemed far until we got perspective. Close enough for us to town. We are in good shape so may be difficult for others but we enjoyed the exercise. We ended up renting a scooter for a few days. What a blast. Made it easier to get to dinner. We did have a rental car too which allowed us day trips. Parcheccio Milano guys were great. Great service. Bring your car to u when you need it and drop you off. Otherwise we walked a lot and enjoyed the fitness. The view is incredible. Large terrace. Views from living and bed rooms. Quiet. A few roosters in the morning but charming. We highly recommend Arienzo beach club. A bit pricey but worth it. We also enjoyed the beach at Praiano next town over. . Had a nice lunch at Pirati restaurant beach club there. Took a water taxi back to Positano. 30 euro for 2. Highlight of our trip to be on and in the water. Was great to stay a week this time and really get a feel for the town and the friendly people. Beautiful shopping too. We hope to be back !

Just a little out of the centre of Positano but it feels likes you’ve escaped to your very own Casa. Plenty of room and lots of amenities to make your stay super relaxing. Raffaele is a thoughtful host anticipating many needs. Highly recommend a stay...

This is a great airbnb. The flat and view were accurately described, very clean and the thoughtful touches (food, wine, flowers and gift) made the whole experience very pleasant. Quite a few evenings, we ate on the balcony as the view was fantastic. We didn’t get to meet Raffaele but he stayed in contact throughout our stay, checking that we were okay and offering his help. Well worth getting a taxi transfer from Naples that Raffaele organised as public transport - whilst doable (and we used local buses and trains to get to places) don’t always run to time. Timetables can be a little hard to understand too. The roads would be a bit hair-raising to drive - narrow with lots of traffic. We were welcomed at the taxi drop-off by Angela whose kindness and generosity of spirit shone - such a warm individual to greet us. The flat is tastefully decorated and as others have said, the terrace is in shade from mid afternoon onwards - which means that it is very useable (all-day direct sun would be too much). There are a good number of steps up to the flat but we didn’t mind this and it prepared us well for hiking The Path of the Gods later in the week (Bomerano to Nocelle is the direction to take, not vice-versa!) Positano itself is lovely though we liked Amalfi and Ravello as well. We were struck by how generous bar and shop staff were - often throwing in a free beer or loaf of bread with a smile or a joke. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thank-you Raffaele and Angela for your hospitality.

This hotel was lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had a great view off our balcony and it’s within walking distance of everything Positano has to offer. Highly recommend!

The apartment has a marvellous view to the mountain and sea! A private garden, very quite area, near all services (bus, resto, boutique,..). This apartment is extremely clean, the whole building is well maintained. The staffs receive us warmly, and provide all informations about this region, travel tips, very helpful. We strongly recommande this place to stay in Positano.

This stay was incredible. It was easy to access both the beach and the shops from the room. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking taxis from the airport to Positano and back and also reserving tables at restaurants for dinner! Eating breakfast was also a dream as there was an amazing view of the ocean from the breakfast area. Overall it was one of our favorite places we stayed in Italy! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!

A lovely spot in Positano. On a cute pedestrian street with a view! We were greeted with coffee as soon as we arrived and the reception desk has affordable bottles of wine you can buy as soon as you get there. We had a lovely time :)

I agree with all prior reviews: Salvatore’s place is a local gem. Salvatore has amazing personality, genuinely nice and pleasant man. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t wish for a better place to stay in Positano. The place is far enough from touristy center and all the hassle but close enough to walk to all main sights and attractions. Apartment is located on tope of the hill, so walking is a bit steep, especially with the luggage so make sure to take a bus from center of the Positano to Salvatore’s place when you first arrive. On other days we would walk up and down with no issues. Apartment has a beautiful small garden with chairs and a table, where we enjoyed some wine and cheese. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely come back.

What a beautiful home! The hike up is no joke the first time, but you get used to it. For the most part. Salvatore’s home was gorgeous and had a wonderful porch/view. If you aren’t able to walk up, I highly recommend a taxi or bus. Otherwise this is a great stay. Plus his dad was very nice and helped get us set up. Excellent home.

Salvatore's place was the perfect spot for us to stay in Positano—walking distance to the beach, local grocery stores, bus stops and included a million-dollar view! Just note, a great view means lots of steps! Salvatore and his father were excellent hosts and made checking in simple, as well as offering us a special deal on their b&b's anniversary which was an added surprise to us! We were greeted with fresh fruit and a bottle of prosecco. My only suggestion would be to add more cookware to better equip the kitchen. Thanks, Salvatore, we'd love to join you again!

Salvatore is super friendly, his home was clean. The family is super welcoming with a small bottle of prosseco and some fresh walnuts. The area is close to 2 super markets and some nice restaurants. We mostly ate in. Positano is a ver picturesque town resulting in super high prices, luckily we found food value with Salvatore place.

Wow! My husband and I will never forget our stay in Positano at the Venus Inn! Gippy is the best host! He makes you feel like family. Enjoying a delicious, beautiful breakfast on the terrace each morning (which included fresh figs from his own yard) was the perfect way to start a magical day! We also loved getting to know the other guests and sharing a bottle (or 4) of wine at night. Book this place!!!! It was also a perfect location and fabulous view.

Gippy was seriously amazing! He went above and beyond. He had so many suggestions on what to do and how to get there. He is very down to earth and truly wants his guests to experience a trip of a lifetime. We went as a mother and daughter duo and loved every second of it. The view from our room was incredible and breath taking. I honestly don’t think we could have stayed at a better location. The hospitality was above and beyond what we were expecting. We felt very safe and welcomed the entire time! The room was spotless and it had a hair dryer! Score! The breakfast on the terrace was out of a movie. If you are going to Positano you have to stay here! I normally don’t leave reviews but for my fellow Americans who are clueless when it comes to where to book, this is the place! Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing location and hosts! The views are stunning and it’s just a short walk down to Spiaggia Fornillo (a few steps involved!). There are plenty of restaurants on the roads nearby. We would definitely stay here again!!

If you are going to Positano then I would highly recommend you stay with Gippy at the Venus B&B. He is a wonderful host and his place is very clean with great views and away from the busy street so it is quiet. The breakfast is very good and more food than we could eat. Gippy is a wonderful person. The airline had lost our suitcase and when they had finally found and delivered it to Positano we had already checked out and traveled to Rome. Gippy accepted our suitcase and arranged for transportation of it to us in Rome. He went above and beyond for us even after we had checked out. Gippy is a very genuine and nice person who really cares about his guests.

We would 100% recommend you stay at Venus Inn during your time in Positano! Not only does it have the most amazing views but it is run by two gorgeous people - Gippy and Lina who immediately make you feel welcome and at home, like you’re staying with family! Wow what can we say. Roberta and her family are plus plus plus 5 star with their service. The apartment was really like a home away from home. It was cozy and comfortable and what a view. After 5 weeks of eating out a lot it was sooo nice to cook and eat at home (especially with the fresh basil pot) and sit out and enjoy the view. Grocery store, bus station and many restaurants within walking distance (albeit a few stairs!). You can walk to the main beach by stairs or road in 15mins. The apartment has everything you need including iron, washing machine (share with family), hairdryer, info books and a roll out shade sail. The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a selection of a few pillows. Fabulous. Roberta was so quick with her communication from start to finish and organised our private transfers. Her father carried my suitcase up the stairs for me like it weighed nothing and what a lovely welcome drink - so refreshing. Her mother welcomed us and always had a hello and big smiles. Her cute son always smiling. We would definitely stay again if we came back and recommend Casa Bella, Roberta and all her family 100%. Grazie Mille Roberta.

Wow! Our stay at Casa Bella could not have been better. Roberta & her Family are lovely host, from helpful suggestions on places to eat, to her father Salvatore greeting us with a welcome cocktail of our choice. Roberta’s mother Pena is a fabulous cook that even sent up a zucchini casserole to the apartment when my husband was feeling under the weather one day. So Sweet! One of the highlights of our stay was a tour of the Amalfi coast by boat. If you have a chance have Roberta set up a half or full day tour with her friend Alessandro. Definitely worth the time & money. Casa Bella & Roberta’s family was a true highlight of our trip. Hope to make it back someday. Tim & Penny

Wow! Where do I begin? Roberta greeted us as we arrived and assisted with bringing our luggage up the 50ish steps up to her apartment. Thank heavens we only had carryons! After our walk up, we were greeted with a lovely, bright and sparkling clean apartment. The view from the balcony was even better than the pictures! Stunning. From start to finish, Roberta was amazing. Roberta was always pleasant, quick with responses to questions and recommendations. We didn’t want to leave! I hope we are fortunate enough to travel back to Positano and stay at Casa Bella.

Roberta’s apartment was perfect. It had an amazing view, so much so that I got a takeaway most nights and also ate my lunch on the balcony. It beats the restaurants views for sure. It was immaculately clean and everything seemed brand new. There was appropriate stuff to cook although the restaurants were so near I didn’t. I got the porters to take my bag to the apartment it was 15euros, no need to worry about a heavy bag :). The apartment is 15 mins up from the port if you take the long route with minimal steps. I preferred this route as the view is amazing and there are so many lovely shops along the way. There is a beach 10 mins walk which was amazing. The location was perfect everything near by. The bed was comfortably. I can’t explain how lovely the apartment was I will definitely stay here again. Roberta and her family were very warm and kind. I stayed here as a solo traveler and they made sure I knew where everything was and I was ok. Roberta’s mum even made me two delicious meals which I appreciate so much. Roberta was wonderful with communication and helped me organise the porters on my departure. I can’t recommend this apartment enough it was so clean like and all the details have been thought of. LOCATION! The location is superb… Super close to the bus stop at the top of the hill. Therefore, super easy to go visit Amalfi, Sorrento, etc. Also right near a excellent restaurant, Grottino Azzurro and three small grocery stores. Small patio has a wonderful view.

This is a beautiful, cozy apartment. It sits at the top of the hill and the bus stop is a short walk down the stairs. The bus will take you down to the beach and the center. The host is amazing and will tell you all you need to know about where to eat and go.

Antonio was very responsive and had many great tips for my stay. It is a 2nd floor walk up. Positano is all stairs. Thankful the accommodations is close to the bus stop for the local or out of town bus. There are plenty of markets to get food and drink, but down the stairs. I definitely recommend a clean establishment and pleasing host.

This villa is amazing! The location is perfect, the views (as everyone says) are incredible. Each room is very spacious and the beds were larger than expected. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range and large refrigerator. We honestly spent most of our time outside on the terrace. Do not waste your time staying at a hotel or looking for other properties, this place is too special. Everything is beautiful in this piece of paradise. We would stay again instantly. We had an amazing three-day stay at Chiara's place in December. The apartment feels like a house, and the location is beyond outstanding. The home was much larger than we had anticipated, and felt spacious for our family of five - two adults with three children. The apartment is located in the walking-only part of Positano, right above the beach, with a breathtaking view of the ocean and a large terrace with a view of the entire town and the Amalfi coast. We highly recommend this place, and would love to come back again.

The Villa is beautiful. All the rooms have a view of the Ocean, and a large patio to hang out on.

Chiara's house is great! It is in a nice location and has a balcony that overlooks the beach/ water! My family and I spent most of our evening out there. The place is large and was more than comfortable for 5 adults. Annie was our main contact during our stay and she was very helpful and quick to respond. We traveled by car and she helped us find parking during our stay and gave restaurant and shopping tips! Just as an FYI, there are a number of stairs to get to the front door - but it is worth it! Overall, we had a fantastic time here and can't wait to return!

Spacious, clean and comfortable but this place is all about the views. Absolutely gorgeous even though the weather wasn’t the best. It is Positano so there are stairs to climb but the location is very good for access to the town centre and the port.

Federico was the perfect host! Casa Toby was so clean and had everything we needed and the view was just breathtaking! It is a 20min bus ride down to positano and it has amazing restaurants and a deli shop nearby (4 min walk) to get anything you need. The host was very responsive and provided us with all the information we needed to travel to and from the air BNB and things we can do around. This was the highlight of our trip and definitely recommend staying at Casa Toby!

We loved this home! It was the end of our honeymoon and we found it to be the perfect ending for two weeks in Italy! Host/Communications: Couldn't ask for a better host. Federico is kind, thoughtful, great communicator and made the whole experience way worth it. Location: the home is tucked away near Positano which gives you the perfect balance of going down to Positano (30m walk) or take the bus (20m). Or just stay in and relax/read/rejuvenate. We liked being tucked away. There's a grocery store and a great restaurant (Il Ritrovo) that are 3m walking. Home: Home is on the 3rd level of the property, so it's pretty quiet. It is set-up like a loft, which is really great and spacious. Easily feels like a home. We would sit on the patio and just relax. Transportation: This is the biggest downside/upside. Getting around Amalfi is really hard given the one way windy roads through mountains. Since Federico knows that, he's super helpful in giving tips, sharing schedules and even requesting taxis for you to make life easier.

This place was an exceptional Airbnb experience! A perfect clean appartment with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Its in a quiet neighborhood about a half an hour bus ride from Positano. Very charming little place. Frederico was a super host, he gave us many tips of where to eat, what to see and do which made our trip so awesome! He definitely looks out for his guests! Frederico also puts on a pizza making class that we were able to join, i would highly recommend it. It was a fun learning experience with tastly pizza, wine, dessert and lemon liqueur, a very memorable evening! Thank you once again Frederico, we hope to come back again someday!

Our long planned trip to Positano was made even better with our stay at Chiara's. The location is superb: not too far down to the beach, and a coffee shop, grocery store and bus stop within 20 metres of the front door! Chiara was extremely helpful from first communication. Can't wait to go back!

The location of this apartment is fantastic. On a scale of 1-10, I give it an 11. The view from the small balconies is incredible!! Even though the apartment was on the most popular street in Positano, it is positioned in the back so it was totally quiet. Once you walk out the front, voila...you’re in the heart of the village. It is convenient to everything. There is tons of space to relax and the bed was very comfortable. Also, Chiara and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.

Ultra convenient location with great amenities. We had friend, Chef Laura, stay with us for the first 5 days and the meals she prepared in the very usable kitchen were fantastic. Chiara and Guiseppe were very easy to communicate with and the overall experience was terrific.

You can expect not to have to climb 450 steps up and down to your apartment because you will be right in the center of town, 5 minutes from the beach. It's perfect & everything at your convenience. You will wake up to church bells & know you are in Italy. It is in the perfect spot!

Ok...stayed here for 9 nights with my wife and 2 kids, 11 and 14. The place is a spacious but modest, no frills apartement that was clean and had everything you needed. The location is.....FANTASTIC. Literally everything outside your door. The view is incredible and the walk down to the beach was a breeze. The AC'S crank and cost us like $45 for 9 nights running both every night...so dont worry about the extra charge. Chiara was awesome and was very responsive and gave great recomendations. You can not go wrong for the price!!!

We stayed as a family for 6 nights and had a great experience. Our hosts met us promptly upon arrival and responded quickly to questions or requests. The apartment is in a prime location - we practically lived at Collina Bakery across the road. With a small child, the minimal stairs to the beach was very helpful and the view from the apartment is beautiful!

Chiara & Giuseppe are perfect hosts; responsive, helpful, generous. The space is exactly as described, potentially better because pictures do not do the view any justice. When we arrived, a porter brought our bags down and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, enough coffee for our week stay and local pastries. Chiara spent time explaining how to get around, the best things to do and where exactly we were located compared to other places of interest. The location is amazing, very close to an amazing grocery/deli (Latteria) and other great restaurants and shops. The steps up can be a bit challenging but that’s every place in positano and 100% worth the views from the terrace. We look forward to our return to Le Sirene and Positano !!

Beautiful apartment with fabulous views. As a corner apartment we had views right across the bay. The space is large for 2 people and has everything you need. Kitchen, tv, washing machine, large bedroom and living room. Very clean and comfortable and has a large dining table inside plus a small table in the kitchen and one on the balcony. Aircon upstairs is good for sleeping if the weather is hot. Reasonably quiet at night.

Giuseppe and Chiarra's apartment was such a treat. The views of Positano are breathtaking and the place was spacious and very comfortable for two of us for the five days we were there. We ate in for most every meal and were satisfied with the assortment of cookware and crockery. It was a delight enjoying our meals on the lovely balcony overlooking the town and sea...even better was the spectacular view while cooking in the kitchen. There was always something new to see and appreciate. Giuseppe and Chiarra were wonderful hosts. Communication prior to arrival was great. Check in and check out was very simple and easy. They were very helpful with securing porters to assist in bringing our luggage to and from the ferry, which was a blessing, as there are approximately 200 steps to arrive at the apartment, (but certainly worth the climb). And, they were very sweet to have provided us some wonderful treats to start off our stay. The location of the apartment is wonderful, as you are able to walk up to the pedestrian path for groceries, shopping, plenty of restaurant choices, and more beautiful views...or, you can walk down the other direction to the beach and center of town. We loved and appreciated this stay very much.

We will never forget our stay at Torre Trasita! This little piece of heaven might just be the best place to stay in the world. This romantic location is simply amazing, the attention to details in the room was outstanding. Each night we ordered great meals from the little restaurant only a couple meters away and had dinner on our private terrasse overlooking the sea, relaxing to the sound of the waves. Even if it was the most expensive room on our whole trip to Italy, it was worth every penny and even more. You can’t put a price on paradise! Treat yourself and book this place if it’s available. Our only regret was staying only for 2 nights! Thank you Roberta and Marina for your kindness and hospitality!

Probably the best place we’ve ever stayed! The location was perfect. You’re not climbing a million stairs to get back to your place after hanging out in town! The place was spotless with all the amenities that you would need. Million dollar views! Super quiet and peaceful. Marina and Roberta were always available and SO helpful. We didn’t have to worry about anything! We were in Positano for a wedding and everyone else was so jealous of our Air bnb! Even the people staying in the super expensive 5-star hotels! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

What a beautiful apartment in a picturesque location! Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Positano. The Torre Trasita is thoughtfully decorated with all the amenities needed. It's slightly off the main strip (5 min walk) and that was perfect to be able to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourists but still be close by for meals and activities. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who's looking for a view of the sea, some peace and quiet at night but maybe some beach and other activities during the day. We loved the room! It was absolutely perfect! Right on the water :) and so close to everything. The hosts were amazing , and were so sweet, they gave us a bunch of recommendations and even helped us getting last minute reservations and the most popular restaurants! We are so happy with our stay :)

Yvonne’s place is sparkling clean and is even better in person than in the pictures. Positano is a picturesque town that can’t be compared to any other place in the world. We loved the view from the patio and spent a lot of time relaxing up there looking down on the water. Yvonne’s place is up from the beach with quite a lot of steps to get down into the center of Positano and the beach. We stayed for four nights so we had plenty of time to explore the area. I suggest doing a little research on the town before you go. Local maps are a little hard to figure out with one main road snaking through the mountain. You have to have good legs and be fairly fit to go up and down the stairs of Positano. We would definitely stay here again!

This Airbnb in Positano was a great place for a 5 day stay on the Amalfi Coast. The place looks just like the pictures, and has plenty of space. Having 2 bathrooms is very nice as well. The balcony is huge, and by far the best part. Walking out on the balcony every morning with the view of the sea and Positano was incredible. There are a lot of steps to climb to get back from the beach areas, but it helps to work off all of the pasta and cannoli's you'll likely have. Yvonne and Giovanni were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and I would definitely recommend booking their place.

In my opinion after trying many RBNB, this one is far the best so far, Great value for money. The place is even better than on the pictures. Spotless, very comfortable spacious with a stunning view. You feel home and Giovanni is a great host. Helpful and friendly and generous. We had a welcome bottle of wine and Italian cookies, fresh figs, he helped us with our bags. Highly recommend staying here if you want the Positano experience without breaking the bank. Yvonne’s place has the picturesque view of the ocean and other villas, yet is a short 5 min walk away from the crowded area of Positano. You are still a stones throw away from many amazing restaurants and shops but expect to walk a few extra flights of stairs to get down to the beach - a minor inconvenience worth saving hundreds of dollars.

The apartment was more amazing than shown in the pictures. There are two balconies and two strong air conditioners. The hosts were friendly and helpful!

An amazing stay in Positano! We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon and absolutely felt at home. The balcony view is unbelievable. The only issue we had at times was WiFi connection, which Giovanni helped us with. We loved all the close by restaurants and although the stairs are a big workout, it is well worth it for this place!

Classy interior, everything is very stylish, the balcony is just wonderful, the beach is not far, the kitchen has absolutely everything you need, Giovanni is a very hospitable host

This place was exceptional! We had to arrive a day early somewhat last minute and cannot believe this place was still available. We wish we could have stayed here for the entire trip, even though the other places we stayed were closer to the water with a better view. The view is still exceptional, along with breakfast in the morning. The restaurant below was recommended by many as well. I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved staying here. When we come back, we are going to do our best to stay here again!

We are so happy we found this place. We booked last minute and Pietro was able to accommodate. We stayed in Room Musica. It was great. Spacious with a couch table and beautiful tile floors. It had a private balcony space outside with a great view of the hillside. They served breakfast outside each morning on the balcony. We didn’t want to leave. As for location, it’s not close to the main area...which is a good thing. It’s close to Fornillo beach which is definitely the better of the two beaches. It’s just a short walk down a bunch of stairs to get there. The restaurants around his place were also nice. Another great thing is you don’t have to carry your luggage up and down stairs. You can get off the SITA bus, hop on the town bus and get dropped off right by the place. For any of you who have been there, you’ll understand how nice this is compared to lugging everything up/down hundreds of stairs. We loved this place and will be back.

The location is perfect, there are no stairs to reach it and the restaurant attached is so convenient - the best pizza we found in Positano. Breakfast was outstanding and fresh everyday. Room was large compared to other places in Positano and very clean. Everyone was so helpful and kind and helped us maximize our time in Positano. We will be back again :)

Lovely. Breakfast on our terrace every morning was a real highlight for us. Our room was immaculate, stylish and comfortable. Pietro gave us great advice on how to get around Positano.

My bestie and I stayed here in Aug 2019. She is the one that will write a detailed review but I wanted to say that our stay was perfect. Pietro and his team are incredible. The view from the Musica room is beyond beautiful! We will be back here for sure.

I will try to make this short but this is not only a message to future travellers but also to Pietro, his staff and his entire family. First off, if I could give 10 stars instead of only 5 I would!! I researched accomodation for weeks before choosing Pietro’s place. It was the overall location and space/size of the room that sold it to me. It is definitely great value for money especially when you consider what you will pay for rooms in hotels in Positano which will be half the size and more than double the price. Pietro’s house is a historical home with a story. That’s what travels are about...stories!! So what I write next is what you will not get at any 5 star hotels. I fractured/broke my 5th metatarsal going for a run on day 2 of my stay. I ended up in a cast and then later a boot thanks to Pietro. Obviously, no one wants to experience a broken foot on holiday especially in the land of steps of Positano but if you do you want to be surrounded by genuine caring people like Pietro and his family who genuinely looked after me and cared for me. Directly downstairs Pietro’s brother runs their family restaurant with friendly staff and serves traditional Italian food. I had dining experiences that I will never forget not just because of the food but the overall hospitality experience. Forget about master chef art on a plate reality tv nonsense food and sit down and enjoy some whole food cooked traditionally Italian with personality and service comes with it. Well, I could go on and on about all the little things that add to the overall experience but I feel I left Positano unfortunately on crutches and a bit devastated my trip had to end but looking back at my photos I had the most amazing time meeting new people. I checked out of an air bnb today but I really just said good bye for now to new friends and their family home. I will be back sooner than later!! Grazie Mille!!! Christopher

That’s Amore does NOT disappoint. It’s an amazing, comfortable spot, perfect for a small family. Immaculately kept. Prosecco on the patio with that amazing view never gets old. EVER. Well above the busyness of the Positano square. Positano is so special and Lucia made it even more enjoyable! (Lots of steps but if you are not interested in steps, Positano is not for you!)

Lucia, you were so lovely and such a wonderful host. We would highly recommend 'That's Amore' Air BnB to other travellers visiting Positano. The views of Positano from the patio were just what you'd hope for... and the interior of the home is beautiful. There's a great market just down the street, and a nice walk down to the main beach and restaurants. Lucia not only booked our rides from Naples to Positano and Positano to Ravello, but also helped out our friends out that were staying down the road by booking their ride back to Naples! Everything was amazing and we can't wait to visit again.

This was a great place in a great location. Lucia was very accommodating with bringing breakfast early because of our excursion times. Really nice balcony with great views. Bus stop and market right outside the gate. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location with fantastic views. The internal bus stops near the property to save you walking up all the stairs. Very clean and well presented. The two bath rooms were appreciated. Note there are some stairs from the road to the property if you have trouble walking or have heavy bags but hey there are stairs everywhere in Positano. Overall highly recommended.

Great place for Positano vacation. That's Amore is beautiful and has an awesome balcony with great views. Situated in a great location - not a bad walk up the stairs to get to the road or down to get to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

As others have said before, Lucia is an exceptional host. Lucia is both responsive and friendly. Almost any item you could possibly require is in the apartment, including snacks, beverages and breakfast. She has thought of everything! The apartment is impeccably clean. There are spaces for your belongings to unpack- many airbnb's do not supply plenty of drawer and closet space- but you will have it here. A clothes drying rack came in handy for us. The view is outstanding and the unit is quiet. Do not under estimate the physical requirement of taking the steps up from the beach and main road to the apartment. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with knee, hip or other issues. There is a bus, but we found the crowd waiting was typically too large for the bus, so opted to walk. Positano in general has many steps, but this apartment is located higher than Via Cristoforo Columbo, the street on which many restaurants and shops are located. Of course, that is why the view is so nice...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at That’s Amore. Lucia was a wonderful host and was always available to assist with questions we had about the area. She also went to the trouble of advising us about a planned road closure for our day of departure and helped us make alternative arrangements for our ongoing travel plans. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were two couples sharing and the 2 bathrooms were a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked, the small grocery store next door was handy for the nights we decided to eat in or to buy our evening drinks. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony during the warm evenings and watching the lights of Positano twinkle below us. We took the nearby stairs to get to the beach & shops and often caught the town bus back up the hill. We did walk up the stairs on our last night as we just missed the bus and it wasn’t as difficult as we had anticipated. I would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Positano.

The view, location, and hospitality was outstanding. Being that it was off season, nights were chilly but the room stayed warm with the heating. Everything coordinated by Raffaella (private transfer from port) and back to Naples was a great comfort. Thank you! Till next time!

We had a great stay at Casa Cosenza. Raffaella was very responsive and helpful giving us tips about the area and things to do and see. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the terrace was AMAZING. Hopefully we have the opportunity to return. Definitely recommend using the porter service that she offered. Our bags were 50 lbs each and there are tons of steps. She also arranged a private driver transfer from and back to Naples for us which made the trip quick and easy.

This is the place to be in Positano! The view from our balcony was unreal. This was the most relaxing part of our Italian trip. It was off season, but we didn’t mind it at all, Rafaella and her mother gave us awesome restaurant recommendations. Thank you for your hospitality!

Be prepared to climb lots of stairs, but the location is ideal in that it's right in between the beach and the road. WOW! This place was something. The pictures do not do it justice. We spent a ton of time in the room and on the balcony because this is the BEST view of Positano. Would stay here again in a second. Raffaella was SO responsive and made our check-in and check-out so easy.

Casa cosenza is well positioned to explore the beach area as well as along the road above. The views from the balcony are amazing. The room was basic and could have benefited with some basic amenities such as soap, kettle, TV.

Great location and amazing view!

Salvatore provided us with beyond incredible hospitality! He met us with the biggest smile and showed us around our room, with the most incredible view. The haul to get up there was unforgettable so I highly recommend taking a taxi. The busses are jammed with people so tight that you can barley breath. However, Salvatores room was all we needed and was far away from all the hussle and bustle of the downtown but made for a difficult area to find a restaurant. I recommend staying for more than one night here, leave your luggage and enjoy the town for a couple of days, without all of the hard work climbing up and down the stairs, or taking the packed bus. Salvator was very generous and welcoming!

Absolutely stunning AirBnb - book it now! We just about lived on the balcony and could never get enough of that view. Great amenities nearby (laundromat, mini mart, deli a few staircases down) and Salvatore was extremely nice and helpful in all our interactions. Gorgeous room and best bathroom view I’ve ever had :)

This place is in a great location! Super easy to catch the bus up and down if you don’t want to battle the stairs. There is a laundromat around the corner, it doesn’t open on Sunday. General store right out the front and such an amazing view! The bed was super comfy and our terrace was everything you could hope for. If you want to lash out on a yummy dinner, try Da Gabrisa which is just around the corner. Super romantic and amazing sunset views!!! The views from the bathroom were super awesome!!!! Salvatore is great and very friendly!! I will return for sure if we ever get the chance to come back to the lovely Positano.

Possibly the greatest view in Positano! Quick walk from the SITA bus stop. Salvatore welcomed us in with fruit and Prosecco and gave us some tips about the local area. From there a 5-10 minute walk down to the beach via stairs. Salvatore kindly offered breakfast the next morning but we declined as we were departing early. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My fiancé and I stayed for one night and only wish we could have stayed longer. Salvatore was waiting for us with champagne and fruit to welcome us to his place/Positano. If this place is still available, STOP READING THE REVIEWS AND BOOK IT ASAP! You will not regret staying at this amazing Airbnb! I decided to book my first trip to Italy's famous Amalfi Coast and knew Positano was a must. I stumbled onto this listing after someone cancelled their reservation and my jaw dropped seeing the pictures. After reading so many positive reviews I felt extremely comfortable to book my stay. Salvatore's place is located in the top level of Positano so yes, there are lots of steps, but it's absolutely worth it! And it's really not that bad. I was so excited to arrive that I ran up the steps! (Be sure to use the porters (guys in blue shirts) to carry your luggage if you arrive by ferry for 10 Euro, they are familiar with the location of Salvatore's place so you're free to enjoy the day without worrying about your luggage). I was greeted at Salvatore's place by his father who was very kind, but a little limited on English however we managed just fine. Also included at arrival was a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed on the amazing terrace as the sun set. The room was exceptionally clean, especially the bathroom. It was equipped with all the essentials like towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner and even a hair dryer! I found the bed to be very comfortable and heard no sound from the neighbors. There is some street noise, but it did not bother me one bit. While the room was perfect, it's all about the views from the terrace and bathroom! WOW!!!! I've traveled the world and seen some of the most beautiful places, but this view took my breath away. You're overlooking all of Positano with plenty of sea view in sight. Just across the hillside is the famous Le Sirenuse hotel. Highly recommend stopping by there and have a glass of champagne if it's on your budget, if not still go take in the view! In addition there is also a very nice hotel (Hotel Villa Franca) that's apx. 2 minute walk from Salvatore's with a lovely rooftop terrace for dinner (be sure to book a reservation ahead & request the rooftop). In the morning Salvatore provides a lovely breakfast which you can enjoy on the terrace, highly recommend! Overall, I have nothing but the best things to say about my stay here. By far my favorite accommodation in Italy. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! Can't wait to return, thank you Salvatore! Ciao!

Loved staying at this little B&B. We loved waking up to breakfast on the balcony and the views of Positano. Word to the wise, DO NOT listen to your GPS if it tells you to take the stairs to get there. Just take the only main road all the way up if you are not taking the bus. It's a long walk, but it beats the stairs.

This is such an amazing place to stay. Gippy and his wife were so hospitable and the breakfast they provided every morning was amazing! Gippy is very kind and always has a smile on. He gave us a ton of great tips. His place has amazing views and was really comfortable. If we ever come back to Positano, we will definitely stay here once again.

We just returned from a fabulous 23 day holiday visiting Italy and the Mediterranean with Positano being our last stop for four nights! Gippy met us near his B and B and helped us with our luggage, our room was adequate, clean and we had our own balcony area only to see the beautiful bay below. Gippy and Lena were perfect hosts, very accommodating, eager to please and offered help in suggesting tours, restaurants, and arranging rides back to the airport. Our breakfasts were healthy, and delicious, served with a smile. If we needed anything, they were more than happy to appease us. We loved the location, it was convenient and away from the busy pace in the main part of Positano. The beach and restaurants were close by, we thoroughly enjoyed our glass of wine on the balcony especially at night, it was magical! From the moment we got there we felt at home and cared for at the Venus Inn B&B.  Gippy, his wife and other helpers were unbelievably kind and made everything easy.  The room was clean and had everything we needed including; an air conditioner, fridge, comfy bed and private bathroom.  Anything else you needed, Gippy and team made sure we got it.  Every morning we had a delicious breakfast on our private patio. Breakfast consisted of pastries, meat, cheese, fresh fruit, juice and coffee.  Also if you have any questions on how to find things, get to ferries, find the best way to one of the other towns along the coast, Gippy was super helpful. Wow, completely blown away by Gippy and this lovely Airbnb. Gippy was tentative, he helped me plan my trip, always answered immediately and made sure everything was perfect for my arrival. Arriving in positano (by private car service Gippy set up), Gippy was happily waiting for us and took our bags, walked us to our place, and gave us a tour. The breakfast was amazing, the best we had in our 15 day trip around Greece and Italy (we still dream about the fresh figs - best ever). Gippy also helped us plan a trip to Capri that was magical and worth every penny, he recommended us to restaurants, and always there to help and answer questions. The location of the Airbnb is great as well. It’s about 15 minutes to walk to the main tourist area, but honestly I preferred this area. Located above fornillo beach (in my opinion the better beach), also thought the restaurants in this area were superb. My husband and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Gippy for everything! We would recommend this place to everyone.

Gippy is an amazing host! He helped set up transportation from the Naples train station for us, he was waiting outside for our arrival, and he gave us some great local tips. I would definitely stay here again!

We had such an incredible stay with Manuela at Villa Delle Palme. This is a beautiful small hotel where you feel like you're part of the family. Our room was beautiful and clean. The shower was so nice after long days of walking the winding streets of Positano. Every morning, you're given a great breakfast. Next door and a down the street are two restaurants that are owned by the same family, where you receive a 10% discount as a hotel guest. We ate at the one next door twice, and it was fantastic both times. It's rated one of the best in the city by Lonely Planet! The spinach and mushroom ravioli was so good, I actually ordered a second helping! Manuela and Juliana were so very helpful throughout the stay. They offered ideas for what to do each day and help with transportation to other cities and for our departure. I highly recommend this hotel and we will absolutely stay here again when we visit Positano again!

This place is amazing. Manuel was so helpful. Her and her family are so kind and really helped the place feel like a home away from home. The breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. Their family restaurant next door was delicious, we ate there twice. We will definitely be back!

Can be reached with minimal stairs by taking the road up on foot. The host was incredibly nice. Her family owns a few nearby restaurants that were good. The location is perfect. You are not in the noisy areas but a 10 min walk. Also close to fornillo beach which is better than the main.

Villa Delle Palma was the perfect way to end our honeymoon. It was in an incredible spot and Manuela as well as her entire family were very helpful and friendly. They gave us tips, recommendations and even helped us book dinner reservations. The breakfast every morning was an excellent touch and we loved bringing to our balcony to enjoy the view. We loved staying at her place and hope to again someday.

The location and hospitality of Manuela and staff were excellent! All the staff were super helpful and gave us the best directions! You have to be willing, because to walk around the city there are many climbs, descents and stairs, but all are worth for the landscape and all the charm of the city and the nearby beaches!

We loved our 3 night stay here! Manuela was nothing but friendly and helpful before and during our stay assisting us with booking transfers and a boat trip and sharing other tips and hints. The family run restaurant next door is highly recommended. Well located too, just a 10 minute walk (up/down many stairs from the main beach and ferry stop.

We stayed at villa del Palme for five nights. What a wonderful place! Manuela was so helpful giving us advice on the best places to go and what to see. We were astounded by the location and view. We had just arrived from another air bnb in Rome and being able to relax with such a beautiful view and large patio was precisely what we needed. The space itself would have been wonderful but we were so blessed by the added bonus of having access to the hotel eden roc amenities and loved every interaction with staff there. We truly enjoyed the restaurant and the massages, what a nice addition to our trip. We would come back anytime and recommend this place to others, easily. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a medical emergency but this place, and positano, will be somewhere we return to. Thanks to Raffaele and all the staff. It was beautiful.

This beautiful air bnb was everything my husband and I imagined and more. Leading up to the trip Raffaele was so responsive with helping us navigate our travels . He would respond so quick with so much information on any questions we had. Once we got to the hotel where you meet the check in was pleasant with friendly staff. The apartment itself was outstanding with views and very convenient. What’s even more incredible was the hotel amenities that comes with this place. We got to use the pool they came to clean our room and fresh towels. This place is a hidden gem and one we plan on visiting for many years to come! If you get to stay here find yourself lucky!

My gf and I loved this place. The parking situation in Positano is a little difficult so just know that most vacation homes here work with some of the many parking garages. Antonio had great communication with where to park and where we would be meeting with his employee Angelo to show us to the house. It was one of the best stays Ive had on my whole trip in Italy. It certainly had one of the best showers! They provide various supplies in the house, including a first aid kit and coffee and cooking spices in the kitchen. Great Touches! Let's not forget the amazing balcony view overlooking Positano and the water. Angelo was so informative of everything Positano had to offer, including maps and bus schedules. We were a 15 minute bus ride to Nochelle where we hiked Path of the Gods. Trust me you will not be disappointed in this stay.

Antonio’s place in positano is very clean, beautiful and spacious. Great view from the balcony and great hospitality. 10/10 will recommend to stay at Antonio’s place.

Our host was awesome! We have never had a host go so much out of the way to explain things and help make our stay more enjoyable. The view is beautiful and the home was great. If I ever come back to Amalfi I would love to stay here.

A spacious and comfortable house in a spectacular location. Literally seconds from Chiesa Nuova bus stop which is very handy for getting to/from Sorrento and exploring the Amalfi coastal towns, as well as the Interno bus to take you around Positano. The house has ample heating/cooling with two air conditioners. We also appreciated the washing machine after a week of travelling. However, the views from the terrace upstairs are the real star of the show! Picturesque postcard views of the town, sea and mountains! The cafe (Bar Internazionale) downstairs is a great spot for coffee, breakfast and meeting friendly locals. There is also a little convenience store next door. Great communication from Antonio and his co-host Angelo who greeted us, showed us around the house and gave us some very helpful local tips and recommendations. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again!

Host was great at explaining the area and giving advice. The view was AMAZING. There are about 50 steps up to the apt. But the bus and supermarket were both very convenient at the bottom of the steps. Only downfall was our host was late to our check out and resulted in us missing our bus. We should have given ourself more time. Thus, we had to pay €100 for a car to the airport instead of the €20 expected bus ride. So if taking the bus make sure to leave yourself plenty of time and don’t make the mistake we did. Other than that, we would come again.

This property is amazing. We arrived at Positano by a bus from Sorrento and the property was right by the bus stop. You will have to climb a few steps to get to the house but it is completely worth it since the views from the terrace were completely breathtaking. The house was very clean and the host was very helpful with checking us in as well as providing tips for stuff to do in Positano. I will highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Positano.
