Stayed in the fifth floor room at Kaivalyam and I cannot find any fault with it or the experience. The rooftop terrace was also the perfect place to watch the sun rise over the ocean and I have already promised I’ll stay for a week next time I’m in Pondy! A wonderful space. Thank you.

The place looks exactly like the pictures. It’s super clean and cozy. Gopal was very helpful. The best part was the terrace. Hardly anyone came up there so it felt like it was my private terrace. The location is also very convenient and everything is super close by. Definitely going back when I visit again.

It was my first experience in an AirBnB space and I went with the past reviews of Kaivalyam and knew that it will be a fairly decent place. It is a 10/10 on location (right in the centre of main city), responsiveness of Gopal (the manager) and Prithika (the owner) to our requirements was on point.. The place is as it looks in the picture (clean and cozy), housekeepinng is available, drinking water is available, clean towels available everyday. This 1BHK space is available on the fifth floor which has a terrace right outside the house and there are no other rooms on the same floor so you get the whole space all to yourself (which means you should make good use of the terrace). All in all a good place and value for money property.

The house of blue mangoes is super cute and we loved our stay there a lot. The rooms are decorated very charming and each room is unique. We especially loved sitting out in the small patio in the morning that is also part of the house. Everything we needed was provided and we can also recommend the kitchen for cooking, it has all the essentials you need for that. Mina is always helpful and will take care of any of your wishes. We had a lovely time.

Undoubtedly one of the best homestay experiences, I've had in life (just to put out, I travel quite a lot). Right from amazing hospitality to beautiful heritage architecture, the stay was worthy of each penny spent. It's situated right at the centre that you walk out and find yourself in midst of everything that your mind may desire of. Also, special mention of the entire team who would make sure to coordinate with you about your arrival and departure with utmost diligence and also allow you the space to keep your luggage if you arrive early or depart late, very graciously. The intricate detailing throughout the property speak of its legacy and every corner speaks a story here, don't forget to sip on your tea in the backyard with comfy set-up.

We were really happy about the stay in Dwijen's place. The host couple were generous and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious and clean with space for cooking, swing to relax and AC bedroom. We did not have the diffuculty of finding a rental bike, since Dwijens had thier own rental bike for a cheaper price (rs 250 per day). One can roam in and out of the city and give it back when vacating the space. Above all, Host was more kind and human and was not money-minded.

Book this place without thinking twice, you won't regret it. We had an amazing time here.

A great place and dwijen and his wife are fabulous hosts. Really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to do some laundry and had the option of hiring a scooter for the day. Comfy bed with great a/c. If we make it back to pondi we will definitely stay again.

Nice place at the ground floor of two storied building. Helpful in case if you want to check in early as it has got a small spare room as a stand by till check in time. Certainly stay here next time.

Very good home, right in the heart of Pondicherry....

It was the second time my parents stayed at Dwijen's place and like last time, they were very happy and satisfied with their stay. Dwijen and Mita are the best hosts a guest can wish for: always ready to help, with a smile and a big heart. Nothing is too much asked. They welcome you into their home as if you are family. My parents definitely recommend staying at this Airbnb. You will not regret it!

There is a cute garden and a terrace with chairs to sit and relax on. I strongly recommend this to young couples or a small group of friends planning to visit pondy.

Homely place

The house of blue mangoes is a warm and cozy home tucked in the residential neighborhood of Pondicherry. It was our home away from home for 3 days. The staff and manager and Prithika helped us with local sightseeing and culinary tips. We were able to explore the Pondi food scene in 3 days and made some great memories. Would highly recommend staying here. Look forward to visiting again.

The House of Blue Mangoes is great, a little small, but the architecture and traditional interiors make it worth it. The location is perfect, in the middle of white town, but on a quiet, peaceful road. The manager was great too, gave us a lot of tips on local sights and places to eat.

A jewel in the dust of the tropics, fanned by the ocean breezes of the Bay of Bengal, decorated in exquisitely curated art, resounding with live performances from performers from all over the world, large comfortable poster beds from a bygone era . A grand spot of paradise indeed.

The place is in White Town and walking distance to Promanede and Cafés. The decor of the place is very good and has basic amenities available. Would recommend you to check out the art gallery, especially if there is an exhibition.

This place is all sorts of lovely- from the amazing interiors to the entire feel of the place! We thank Satinder for being cordial and helpful. We were also lucky to briefly meet Mr. Lalit, Krtatma’s father who welcomed us to the art gallery and lovely to speak to! Special mention: excellent AC and very nice geyser! A 10/10 kinda Airbnb.

Amazing place to stay with really stylish and thoughtfully decorated rooms. The location is perfect as everything you would want to see or go is just on walking distance . It’s attached to a beautiful art gallery as well.

This is one of the best places to stay in Pondicherry. The location is close to all attractions in the city and is super safe. The rooms are great, very artsy. They regularly have cultural events in their gallery and guests are encouraged to attend the evnts. I happened to attend a music concert. It was an intimate gathering and the music was beautiful! Krtatma is an amazing host, very friendly, quick to respond to queries and extremely helpful! Overall, superb stay! :)

It is a beautiful house full of art collection. The room is tidy, AC worked fine, it is close to many cafes and restaurant. The care take is available for any requirements or help. Kitchen is usable for heating food, but for tea or coffee or making food you have to pay. Over all stay was really good.

Very nice apartment large spacious separate room with attached bathroom. Clean and tidy cleaning every day, cozy Hindu area. Hired 2 times how happy again!

Beautiful apartment and reasonably priced, with interiors just as shown in the pictures. Deepa and Deepak are very responsive to messages and calls and are really helpful hosts. We only had a problem with the mosquitoes but the hosts were thoughtful enough to leave some bug spray in the apartment.

It's a great place to hideout in Pondicherry.Everything as described.Library was so amazing.All arrangements,interior and everything is mind blowing.Location is bit interior in the sense of constrained road.and parking space.Can accommodate a small hatch back.But have enough space in road side and was safe from my experience.Thanku deepa for being a great host.we really enjoyed the stay..

This place is as described with straightforward checkin. Close to main city ( we had our own vehicle) yet peaceful. Vehicle parking was outside on the street, but was alright. Inside house was well appointed with fully functional kitchen. Liked the library as well. Overall was a very good experience.

You can expect a very well organized home, with each element thoughtfully placed and labeled to prevent confusion. We were able to check ourselves in, find all that we wanted and check out, without any muddle, confusion or back and forth. The home is beautiful, well lit, quiet and very well kept. Deepa had provided towels, a fully equipped kitchen with induction cookware, stock for tea, coffee and a kettle and crockery and cutlery. Its a must visit. You'll feel at home (and a very clean home at that)

It was my first experience with Airbnb and I just loved it. The apartment is itself in a perfect location with a few minutes walk to some famous tourist locations within the main city. Our host Deepak is a very nice person and helped us a lot during our stay. I would surely suggest this apartment for anyone who is planning to visit Puducherry anywhere in the near future.

If you are coming to Pondicherry and want a place which is central and still not right in the middle of chaos then Deepa has the perfect place for you. The house is really spacious and well situated, around 10 minutes walk from the sea. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good vacation with a break from urban routine.

A short summary of Deepa's place. Location: The place is located a little interior to the North End of the Boulevard where Goubert Avenue and Sardar Vallabhai Patel Road meet. The road narrows down a bit as you move towards the location and you have to be careful while driving your car to the location. The place is housed in an apartment complex. Parking: You will get a spot to park you car. A Hatchback can be parked properly. Checkin: On the day of your arrival you'd get a numeric 6 digit code to use the number lock on the front door. Use that to get in to the house. No lock and key system. If you are going to stay out of the house past 10 pm, it is advisable to carry the Gate Key to the apartment as it will be locked by that time. House: The place is a beautiful 2 BHK. A spacious Living area which extends into the walk in open Kitchen. The living area has a beautiful sitting space which is carefully decorated. That was my most favorite place of the house. There is a great collection of books that you can read if interested too. They also have a lot of flyers and info brochures that will guide you in case you are visiting Pondy for the first time. There are 2 Bedrooms, both with A/C attached. The master Bedroom has an attached Bathroom to it. It also has a wardrobe for your unpacking. The other Bedroom is more functional and can be used for any work / study if anyone is interested. There is an extra Bathroom for all common use. Kitchen is well stocked with all necessary cutlery and crockery. They even have a Pressure Cooker. :) If you are not keen on cooking, Swiggy and other food apps also deliver to the location. All in all it is great place to be staying when in Pondy. A piece of advise: if you travel by car, park it in the apartment. Then Rent a scooter / bike for all your travels. It is easier to get by in Pondy on a scooter than in a car.

It's a centrally located property manager by a local manager who is quite helpful . I could walk most of sights from the place.

Building security person was nice. Host was a little rude initially. Owner as per description stays abroad and didn't take any interest in scheduling briefing call.

It was a wonderful stay. Gopal is a wonderful host. He was always available for any query and helped us a lot during our stay. He had even arranged for a scooty for us before hand and I hadn't even asked for it. Room was very clean and well maintained. And the security guard & house cleaning staff are also very well behaved and helped us with some tips for street shopping and local tours. All in all, it was a really pleasant stay. ❤️❤️

Best location to stay as White town and Rock beach are at walking distance. Amazing manager who'll guide and help throughout your trip. Very helpful people. Rooms and washroom are clean and very good, which is hard to find.

One of the finest and cost effective stays you will ever find . It was super cosy and we sparklingly clean and the staff was really sweet in making all the arrangements for our visit . It was so smooth and we had a wonderful stay . The most important and plus point is it’s centrally located and we could just walk down the lanes without any hiccups !

Firstly I think we should say thanks to the host for being wonderful. It was first visit to the town for me and my wife. Thanks to the manager Gopal for guiding us around. The apartment is wonderful, spacious and well equipped. The place is well maintained. Needed to remind the housekeepers to clean after every alternate day but Gopal immediately helps out and arranges. Location of the apartment is amazing which helps connect to all prime places in the town.

Wonderful place to stay. The apartment has many small but great amenities. Coffee and tea are there for you to make a cup as needed. Very comfortable beds with memory foam mattresses. If you need breakfast or your laundry done, the staff can help get it done for you (for an extra fee). It all made the stay so much more pleasant. Plus it is either a walk or easy tuk tuk ride to the beach or White Town.

On my vacation with family and kids, this place turned out to be a great pick. House was pretty and we'll maintained. Location was very central to the white town. Great places to eat around the house. The house keeping staff is very cordial and helpful. Overall, had a great time staying there.

A very beautiful space located near auroville. The garden were still decorated with lights when we went there (first week of jan) . Parking space was also provided for our rented bikes. Kitchen amenities were top notch, cooked meal twice with friends and had a great time. The host was also quite helpful as well as the maid cleans the house on a regular basis. In short totally recommended.

Best hospitality

The host and his family were very nice and helpful. His wife prepared delicious breakfast for me every day. The location was good we can reach seaside and white town on foot. The room was very clean and lovely. I had great time and felt like being a real member of family.

Wow. Just that. The pad is right at the centre of everything Pondicherry. The beach is a few hundred meters, the white town is across the Street and the food available within walking distance is amazing. The room Super comfortable with almost all the amenities that you will need for a short stay. The pad is clean well-maintained and adequately provided with touches to make you feel at home. The studio apartment is ideally located close to the promenade beach (less than 5 minutes walking distance) and restaurants of the city. The place is very clean, well équipped and communication with Samarth was very easy and smooth. Samarth provided us with many advices and recommandations to enjoy and discover the city. Very centrally located & you can walk to most of the tourist, food & shopping places from there. Roshni was a very helpful host & gave a good list of things to do's in Pondicherry. The check in check out was smooth. The caretaker was available for help. The place is clean and has good basic amenities.

I would totally recommend this place. It is cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of white town. My husband and I had the perfect anniversary exploring white town by foot. There is parking space in this busy space, which is the icing on the cake. Roshni understood what we were looking for, and gave us some brilliant recommendations. We've been to pondicherry multiple times, but this was a truly different and brilliant experience.

The place is nice, comfortable and safe to stay. It is also near to most of the tourist attractions in Pondicherry.

We were pleasantly surprised with the spacious and well maintained apartment. It was very comfortable and we ended up cooking breakfast and dinner, thanks to a nicely equipped kitchen. We had our own car and the location wasnt too important, but it was close to all the sights we wanted to see. The security guard of the building was very helpful with finding parking in the street. Response to any request was super prompt. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable.

Our experience with Prithika’s place was awesome! It is exactly as described. It is centrally located in Pondicherry. The apartment is spacious and tastefully furnished. It includes all the necessary equipments that one would need during one’s stay. The place is extremely clean and tidy, and is managed well by her staff.

The place was great! It was pretty and the help was great. Everybody, including the security are very dependable. Very very close to a lot of attractions. We loved staying there.

Let me begin saying that, we had a fantastic stay at your beautiful property. I travelled with my husband, mom and aunt. The house is very well appointed with some pretty touches. We loved the cozy bedrooms, and the spacious living area. We requested for an early check-in and the manager Gopal made sure the house was ready/clean by the time we arrived. He was very courteous and suggested great places to visit and eat at. Happy to say that we covered most important spots during our short stay at Pondicherry. Not to forget, the gate guard was very polite and helped us carrying the luggage back and forth. I definitely look forward to visiting and staying here again.

We stayed for 2 days in this beautiful house..the beautiful touches and interior work of the house is very thoughtful.. It's a perfect place to stay for 4-5 people and very near to white town(french colony). Manager Gopal is helpful..We would definitely love to go there again..

Three of us stayed at Jardin Suffren for 2 nights. Had the most wonderful time in this serene and beautifully decorated property. The rooms are located at the back of a cafe and spa, which was very convenient for early morning cups of tea and midday massages! Loved how quiet it was, and the fact that it was walking distance from everything - the beach, markets, other cafes and restaurants.

It is a lovely home stay in the white town. If you are planning to reach Pondy via train, then it is just 0.5 km away from station and one can walk to the stay. All the many tourist spots are walking distance so you don't have to spend a lot of money in transport. My mom and me loved the fact there were all everyday appliance in the room. One could cook if you don't want to eat outside. there are also many cafes and restaurants around. Dhana, the care taker, is extremely helpful. he helped us save some money by guiding us to use the local transport for Paradise beach. He was always available no matter what and very kind and polite human being. the staff was very friendly and greeted us with positivity and happiness each time they saw us. Overall it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed our short stay at Alex's place. Would love to visit again!

The studio apartment was what anybody could wish for a stay in Pondicherry. It was spacious, very clean, peaceful though in a busy area, had a kitchenette with an induction cooker and other basic kitchen needs. Most attractions are in walking distance, the area seemed very safe for us 2 women as we could stay out even after dinner. The beach is at 3 minutes walk and most of our evenings were spent there. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Also we found a small store for basic needs. Swiggy also delivers here. The dog Lily was a plus point as my daughter enjoyed playing with her. Staff were very helpful, the room is cleaned daily. Dhana was available for help or guidance any time of the day. Overall, a great place for a relaxing stay

Bhavna is without a doubt the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had - and I’ve been using Airbnb all over the world. She’s incredibly thoughtful and caring and she puts so much time care and time into making sure you’re comfortable. She felt far more like a close friend than a host! The room is sparkling clean, there are lots of lovely touches that make it feel like home. It’s located next to all the beaches and attractions in Pondicherry which makes it a great home base. It also is cordoned off from the rest of the house so you really do feel like you have your own space. I had a truly wonderful stay. Ps try Bhavna’s lemongrass tea if you can- to die for !

Bhavna Ma’am is a super super host by all means. It is amazing to see how she manages everything right away from cleanliness to good tasty home made food. My personal recommendation to anyone eating here is her jeera Paratha 😍 She also provides two wheeler on rent which makes things extremely comfortable for the one who intense to justify his time. Very tidy and lovely AirBnb equipped with everything you need. We really liked the personal touch Bhavana has given to the room. Bhavana is a great host and there when you need her. We had a great stay!

The place was beautiful. It felt like a home away from home. Bhavna's hospitality was Soo perfect. It made out short stay perfect and easy.

It’s a beautiful place. The view from the Balcony is like no other you’ve ever seen before. Expect a spectacular view of the Bay of Bengal, wonderful greenery and a lot of Parrots and other wonderful birds flying about. For this alone, the room is more than worth it. Coming to the location, it’s very easy to reach provides you have any mode of transport of your own. Else, Alex would send you a number of a trustworthy and reliable auto guy who can arrive at a phone call’s notice. The area might seem a little scary at first to us city folk but it is completely safe (we came late at night almost everyday and there was absolutely no issues). The room is very clean and has everything you need in order to have a comfortable stay. Thanks, Alex, for being a wonderful and gracious host to us and we look forward to seeing you again! :)

Once I booked the property, Alexandre send me a message letting me know that he won't be available but his manager Vijay would take care of everything. Vijay made sure that everything we needed was made available. Amazing sea view from the room. It's a little interior, but if you have a vechile you should be fine. Overall a great experience.

If you're planning a trip to Pondicherry, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stay at this place! The unit itself was clean, spacious, and the views from the terrace/balcony were spectacular!! Alex was very prompt and helpful with local tips and ideas, and his friendly staff were very accommodating too. There are two adorable, friendly doggies on the compound too. Really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities like strong WiFi, drinking water in the room, and for Alex connecting us to local auto drivers who were very professional and helpful in helping us commute and navigate through the city. The location is remote enough to be very serene and pretty but also well connected enough for us to be able to take the autos right to the door and order food delivery thru swiggy, etc. And the view of the sea from the (three!) terraces, is absolutely stunning! Will definitely be telling my friends and family to consider staying here when they visit Pondy.

Aurodhan is situated about 200-300 metres from the Rock Beach and entry point of White Town. I found the room and common room as vibrant as shown in the pictures. It's a nice comfortable, no-nonsense place. The best bit about Aurodhan is that there are cultural events occuring during the weekends, and I happen to witness and get mesmerized by one. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

This was by far one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I have had. The place is tastefully done with antique artefacts and marvellous paintings. The beds have no old world charm and transports you to a bygone era. Had a delightful stay here with my daughter. It's close to Promenade beach and Ashram. The staff is very helpful and the art gallery is exquisite. The host, Kritatma was very helpful and ensured that we have a great stay. I recommend this place.

Aurodhan is more than a place to stay, it’s also an Art Gallery and Cultural space so expect your creative senses to be tingled. I met some interesting people (who were also staying there) and had some wonderful conversations. I woke up in the morning to the sound of odissi being practiced in the gallery and it was a very unique experience. Unlike other BNBs the common spaces are both usable and beautiful! The room was tasteful, clean and very comfortable. It’s a simple, homely and no fuss kind of atmosphere which I loved. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Pondicherry.

This homestay is actually an Art Gallery with exquisite paintings and sculptures all around. A very different experience indeed! Th heritage feel is complete with the outstanding bed (also seen in the photographs). Sleep quality was excellent. Loved the hospitality! Am definitely going to be back here!

I had a delightful stay at Aurodhan and I'm so glad that I did. How often can you say your Airbnb was an actual art gallery? The family is so welcoming and you immediately feel a part of things. Artwork is every where and the antique furnishings add to the unique art and spiritual vibe. There was an artist opening one night and an acoustic concert the next. The hosts provided great recommendations for restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pondi has excellent food offerings and the main historic quarters are just 10-20 minutes from Aurodhan. If you're looking for a quiet, unique place with a cool hipster vibe, you won't be disappointed. Leave the $200/night places to those who don't know that this is the place to unpack your bags and reconnect for a while.

Utsarg’s place is well designed, calm, spacious. It’s almost near to all the major places and the co-host (host’s father) is very helpful in guiding us with the local places and other amenities. We enjoyed spending time at this place with host’s father. He helped us in renting scooters for roaming across the city. Whatever difficulty you face while on your trip, just contact them and they’ll help you with it without a hesitation. They gel along well which is much needed as a host. Overall experience was satisfactory and I would say you would be happy if you could get bookings to this beautiful home. Felt like it was our home away from our home ;)

1: The Hobbit is a tastefully done up place , clean, with all the amenities that you would require for your stay. 2: It is fairly close to white town and the beach . 3: The surrounding area is dirty and smelly though and there is no view from the house. 4: Mr Sajjan is a thorough gentleman and a good host

Hospitality and warm communication. We were very well received and despite sharing the common areas (kitchen and living room), we were able to have our privacy. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and perfectly clean. We recommend this accommodation for its value for money.

Both Utsarg and his father are fantastic hosts - they make you feel like you are in your own home. We stayed in their place for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. We sat with them for hours talking about life, sharing experiences and what not over a cup of evening tea. One night when we were hungry around mid-night, he took us to the Rock beach because that is the only place that offered food at that time. Would highly recommend this place to all visitors

3 of us stayed at Sree's cottage for 1 night. The property is very beautiful, spacious room, well maintained, and provides good facilities. The host was very sweet and kind, and also was very quick to respond to all our queries. The breakfast was very tasty and homely. If at all I visit Pondicherry again, I'd look for no other place. I'm glad I found this place. In all, my stay at Pondy was very pleasant and relaxing! Kavitha is a lovely host and the place is just beautiful. With its rich antique look, it gives homely feels. The front garden is very nice and I managed to get a lot of “insta-worthy” pictures. 😊

The place was almost at the start of the city itself. Kavitha mam was awesome. We were five of the friends. Before booking we were skeptical like whether it will be good for friends. But it was really awesome. She had prepared the breakfast which was very tasty. The place was very peaceful and was clean. It was very well connected. There was garden space with swing being the main attraction which was full of greenery. We staying in the city found a heaven in this place. Thank you so much for making our trip really memorable. Definitely recommend it. Family or friends group definitely worth try.

A lovely, spacious apartment with a good-sized living room. Having the water filter in the house was particularly useful. The location was exactly what we wanted - on the border of the historic French quarter and the Tamil quarter, so we could walk to everything. We caught a cold from sleeping with the AC on, but the fans were perfectly adequate. The locking mechanism for the house makes it slightly awkward for a group stay but we managed.

Stylish and comfortable house in a great location on the edge of the white city. Steps away from the quiet streets, pleasant restaurants and great shops in the White City but also within easy walking of the bustle of Heritage town with its markets and temples. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed in. The host was super helpful, sent a list of places in and around Pondicherry so that we could plan before we arrive. The place was pretty easy to find as it’s on a main road and the location was also pretty great. All the good cafes, ashram, park is less than a 20 min walk. The apartment itself is small, cosy, super clean and very well maintained. There was everything you could possibly need to have a pleasant stay. Even the cutlery that was present was very thoughtfully chosen. The WiFi was good, the rooms were well ventilated and had a balcony as well. A common terrace had a wonderful view of the beach. Overall, this is a great place to stay!

I stayed in Casa Inca for 6 days in Feb 2020. I was welcomed by the host ( Pushpa aunty) at the property and check-in was seamless. Property is as seen as in the pictures. Clean and maintained very well. All amenities shown in pictures including free WiFi was available. Location of the property is amazing, 3 min walk to beach promenade and very close to ashram and school for perfect eye sight. Private parking is not there however no worries as there was ample space on the street in front for safe parking. View of Sunrise and the sea from the terrace is the highlight of the property. Host was always approachable, very responsive to requests and provided information on local food, places to see and scooter rental. Hosts ensured that me and my daughter had a comfortable stay. If you are looking for a comfortable accommodation in White town, this is the perfect place.

My stay at felicite was really good. Subodh and his wife took great care of us right from the moment we checked in to their apartment. The place offered a nice lobby with kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Each room is equipped with nice washroom and split ac. All in all, the space offered was pretty good. The home had top notch amenities with free wifi as well. To sum up, it was a memorable stay for us. Highly recommended.

Sobodh is a nice friendly person and good host. Whenever we needed to ask him any questions he was more than happy to help and our queries were responded to promptly. The apartment is very secure, spacious and clean and is actually bigger than the pictures shown with two good size double bedrooms, two bathrooms, sitting and dining area, a balcony and even a roof terrace. There is good WIFI and sattelite TV. The kitchen is equipped with a range of cooking utensils, microwave and water filtration machine. The house is located in a clean residential area with its own enclosed parking spaces and is near to eateries and popular shops. Worth the cost & close to the good spots in Pondy

Located at a walking distance from pondicherry beach, the cozy property just welcomes you. The airy and bright living room coupled with a huge bed provides ample space for a couple or more to feel relaxed. The soothing space has a great collection of books for one to spend a nice afternoon lounging on the plush furniture. There are ample utensils and cooking media in kitchen to cater to those early morning or late night cravings. The space and amazing host Rituparna will surely make you feel at home. Kudos.

Had the best of time at your place. It's proximity to Sri Aurobindo Ashram and all the best restaurants in the neighbourhood made it extra special. The place is sparkling clean with thoughtful touches all around. Barring the loud speaker next door on a Sunday morning and evening (guess it's a church or a gathering place), the area was quiet throughout. When I entered the house, I was in awe. It was such a beautiful house, arranged with a great taste. Being a cleanliness freak, I was so much keen about the same and it was no less than my expectations. Locationwise it was so convenient for me to see places on my own. I wish to go again and again.

It is a nice, clean and pretty apartment, situated in a nice and quite neighbourhood. The host Ritu and her husband Sushant are very sweet people. They helped us in every way possible. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Pondicherry and looking for a place to stay near Promenade.

Ritu was a very warm host. I visited with my wife and 2 kids. She was thoughtful to stock the fridge with enough amenities which took care of breakfast for a couple of days. Her house is clean, well planned and with little trinkets and a library around to lift your mood. There is also equipment for a quick cook up and a fridge. She offered excellent suggestions for dining around White town and for our Auroville visit. She was prompt in all her communications and responses. Extremely Close proximity to white town. She also has a place in Auroville which we would like to check out next time ! :)

The place is meticulous and thoughtful. Taktsang had all the amenities and they also provided couple of other utensils on our request. The icing on the cake cake was the bench and table on the terrace. We had a wonderful family time in the evenings there, and also had a private pizza party 😉.

Accessibility - The stay is located in the white town and a stone's throw away from the rock beach. About the stay - The place has a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen space and a hall. The hall and bedroom both have an AC. There is a sofa bed in the hall which is comfortable for two people to sleep on. There are enough amenities provided for you to cook if needed. The rooftop, which is accessible 24*7, has an amazing view of the beach and the sight of sunrise is something you don't want to miss. Hospitality - The hosts are really nice people. Though i didn't get to meet them personally. They proactively contacted me to provide the location and also provided a to do lists of sorts. Check-in is post 1 PM which may be a let down for a few but nevertheless the place is worth the wait. Amenities - You kinda have everything that you require for a homestay Overall had a good experience and would recommend for people to try it out.

Location is the USP of this place with Rock Beach and good cafes within walking distance. As for stay, it is a neat and tidy place with comfortable rooms. Christopher as a host was very polite and welcoming.

It was simply a wonderful experience, especially for someone like me who was making her first solo trip. The rooms and washrooms and the common seating areas are very clean, easy check in and check out, Christopher and Manjula are simply great, Savirine is very quick to respond to your queries, Christopher will actually sweet talk you into waking up early to see the sunrise, but it is really worth it. Just go and experience the stay.

When planning a Pondi trip, a must explore area is the White Town. Nestled in the heart of white town, is this lovely villa. Everything that you'd want to cover, is within 10 minutes of distance. That's the beauty of this location. Once in, Manjula and Christopher - Villa Meena staff- that I interacted with were super helpful and warm. From arranging my red vespa to accomodating my luggage post checkout... Thanks for making the trip even better you two! Talking about the room, it was cozy and was filled with small surprises... A wall decal of a cat chasing birds... artsy night bulbs, canvas paintings... I loved the touch! I recommend Villa Meena to anyone coming for a trip to Pondicherry. Old, young, solo or couple... You'll have a good time for sure.

The place is fantastic and Tenzing has done it very thoughfully. The view of the sea is fabulous. Another big advantage is that Its only about 10-15 mins walk to the White town. The only thing that does not impress is the approach to the place. The lane is a little dirty.

Tenzings's place is a cozy and peaceful space and is just as shown in the pictures. He was very friendly, easy to reach out to, and responded promptly. The availability of a parking spot within the premises was also convenient. The place came equipped with all the amenities listed and is ideally located about 10 mins from the happening and bustling streets with a wide range of restaurants to dine in/out from. For those looking for a quiet and peaceful time, I highly recommend Tenzings's place.

Had a great time at Tenzing's place. It is set up very thoughtfully and maintained well. Few key things that stand out- very spacious and windy room and balcony, good view of the sea, park next to the place, fully set up kitchen, and Amazon fire.

Highly recommend! Tenzing was a wonderful host. He always replied quickly and was very helpful with all my various questions and needs. The flat itself is just as pictured, fully equipped with very nice amenities (I especially enjoyed the great shower pressure / comfy bed) along with a stunning view. I and my hubby had a lovely stay at Tenzing's beautiful penthouse. It was indeed home away from home for us. The penthouse very thoughtfully made & it is truly value for money. All the amenities are well maintained and function smoothly. The view from the patio is lovely and the outdoor kitchen is a ideal. Evey travel has a story associated... In my case the main characters were Auro, Ram and Auro's mother. It was an amazing experience right from booking to check out. I couldn't be any more happy as this was my first Airbnb experience. The location is superb. Everything at a stone's throw distance. Ram was quick in response and gave a lot of local tips and also helped us with bike rental at a very cheap rate. Auro's mother was very down to earth and ensured that we felt like home. The House of Mud offers an independent cottage eco-friendly home, surrounded by plants, with the green of trees visible through the sky lights and birds chirping in the morning, you have the feeling of being outside the city while staying in the middle of Pondicherry. The room is thoughtfully decorated and keeps very cool. Kavitha and her husband are exceptionally kind and welcoming, and their two dogs are so gentle and adorable!

The House of Mud is a beautiful, calm space. After traveling around Pondicherry the whole day, the room served as a perfect detox. My favourite part was the small, thoughtful notes around the room that ensured i was well informed about the space and the amenities. It's a little outside the main town, but still serves as a window into the life of Tamil households. Thoroughly enjoyed me stay and can't wait to be back!

Ms. Kavita is one of those great host you would always wish for your travels. Since the enquiry phase she has been quick to respond and very helpful while booking. Such a awesome and clean place. Serenity Garden is very near to Serenity beach. Location is very good and the care taker Raju is always available in the property. All in all I loved the stay.

During winter, it's one of the best places you could stay in for the price we paid. Really chill and it's between white town and auroville and really close to serenity beach. Perfect location if you've rented a scooter.

A beautifully designed Airbnb which allows you to be a stone’s throw away from the beach. Located in-between Puducherry and Auroville it gave us easy access to all our endeavours while we stayed here. Zero disturbances, zero hassles and a 10/10 for a vacation experience.

It was a pleasant stay at Arnab's place. It is a simple yet beautiful place to be at, everything was just perfect. I loved the facilities and the best part is, it's near by serenity beach and sea food available there is amazing. Helpers were very helpful and so was Arnab. He was always available and responsive whenever we needed.

I chose Kaivalyam for my senior citizen parents' Pondicherry stay and I am so glad with my choice. Extremely clean and tastefully done. Looks exactly like the images posted here. Senior citizens friendly as well. The location is best part of it with very close proximity to everything including Beach and Sunday Bazar. Prithika and her team of staff are excellent hosts. They helped us a lot during a sudden medical emergency for my mother. All in all, great stay. Highly recommended.

The place was sparkling clean.. It made our whole trip so memorable. The host and manager both were sensitive to our needs. They made the whole trip execute smoothly with options of places to visit and even helping with scooty rental. They went out of the way to help the guests! Amazing!!!

A very good property, sparkling clean and well maintained. Location is superb and hosts are also very attentive and quick to respond.

We were two couples and had booked place almost 3-4 months in advance. Just two days before we changed dates and were accommodated by the host. Premises has good interiors, well equipped with all electric gadgets sparkling clean, smooth check-in check-out. Manager guided us well about restaurants and places to visit. Will surely like to visit again.

Nice apartment in Mission Street Pondichery. Confortable and easy to live. Gopal had been a great host and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed one month there and all the family loved it!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the HOBM and will certainly stay here if we visit Pondicherry again. The property has heritage touch to it and makes you part of it's history. Beautiful, homely space!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and it was very comfortable. The staff (Mr. Ganesh) was super friendly and was kind enough. All the amenities provided actually helped our first trip with our toddler a memorable one. Since this was our first trip with my 10 month girl, I was little worried whether I have made a right choice, but after we checked-in, I was sure and confident that I have made the right choice. Thank you Prithika and team for the extraordinary service :-) I will definitely recommend your place to my friends. Hope to visit The House of Blue Mangoes very soon :-)

Lovely room in the Tamil district, near the Goubert Market. Walkable distance from the beach. Nice rooftop for breakfast, reading or just sit in the calm atmosphere. Surely recommend!
