“Fredy's restaurant is the top rated breakfast restaurant on TripAdvisor for a reason, it consistently delivers excellent breakfast experiences. Traditional Mexican and American breakfasts are on offer and neither will let you down. There's not a ton that stands out about Fredy's to me personally but it's likely super close to where you are staying and you can count on it to time and time again to leave you happy and fueled for the day ahead.”

“Playa Los Muertos is probably the busiest beach in PV. Playa means beach. Lots of activity and fun! You should be able to find whatever you are looking for there. Food and drinks, walking and people watching everywhere. This is a busy beach but you can also find quieter areas if that's what you want. Check it out! Go to the Pier while you are out there also! ”

“From barbeque ribs, chilaquiles or a Mexican platter, Cafe de Olla has it all. Cafe de olla is always a busy restaurant, especially during Vallarta's high season (December through April). Therefore, if you want to avoid a long line and a long wait time, try to arrive before 5:30pm or after 9:00pm (Cafe de Olla does not have reservations). Now, in terms of the best dishes at Cafe De Olla, here's a list of our favorites: - Barbeque Ribs (Costillitas a la barbeque - Mexican steak (Carne Asada) - Mexican platter: steak, stuffed chile, beans... a little bit of everything! (Combinacion plato mexicano) - Melted cheese (Queso Fundido) - Chilaquiles Our favorite drinks: - Mexican Coffee (Cafe de Olla) - Margaritas - Piña Colada ”

Brewery

“More of a restaurant than a bar but I'm including it in the bar list because of its local craft beers on tap. The beers are good, not as good as Monzon in my opinion and the pizza, burgers and other American fare are good too but [also just my opinion] not great. Go here to watch NFL or NHL games and consume decent food and beverages at reasonable prices.”

“If you are looking to go Snorkeling, Fishing or just a ride to Yelapa, Quimixto, Las Animas and Los Arcos, Captain Leo will take care of you. He is our neighbor and lives just across the street. He has his own boat and it can be just you, the 2 of you or up to 10 people. He has all of the equipment and will show you an excellent and memorable time. Just get with me and I will arrange the trip for you. Any Sport Fishing does require a days notice for him. ”

“ Several sleek dining spaces make up Café des Artistes; , an original bistro style restaurant a few short blocks from Casa Bella Vista; the most beautiful and romantic is the courtyard garden with modern sculpture. The main restaurant achieves a contemporary Casablanca feel with glass raindrops and tranquil music. End the night at the clubby cigar bar or Constantini Wine Bar, which offers some 50 vintages by the glass as well as distilled spirits, appetizers, and live music most nights of the week.”
