Very nice and clean apartment. The kitchen is well equipped and the private bathroom is very comfortable. The bed is very soft, which is not for everyone. We haven't seen Chelsea very often, but she was very friendly and always helpful. The location is as described, you need something to reach Midtown. However, the connection with the metro is easy.

This house was exactly as showed here. Everything was ready for us, and check in and communication was super easy. The bed and shower were great. It was great to feel part of the neighborhood. 10/12minuteswalk To the subway. We would stay here again if coming back to NY!

Chelsea and Hernan’s place was incredible. The check in process was seamless. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom was spotless. We loved the neighborhood and the close location to bus stops.

The home space was open, well accommodated to the season, and fit our needs. The location is away from the downtown/midtown areas, but transportation was easily accessible and nearby if needed. There are also stores nearby if you need something.

Graziella responded quickly and check in and check out was very simple. The apartment is very clean and is an incredibly good deal. Easy walk to multiple subway lines that get you into Manhattan in ~30 mins. Neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt very safe.

Everything was convenient. Giovanni gave us an extra set of keys because me and my friend wanted to do different things while in New York. There's a little store less than a block away to get some groceries and cook. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. I feel like I got the true Brooklyn experience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the TV had Netflix. I would definitely return for a longer stay! Giovanni was extremely helpful as well with suggestions on where to go and what to do!

Giovanni’s place was very clean, very comfortable, and perfectly located only a few blocks from the subway (to get to midtown only took maybe forty minutes, sometimes less). Giovanni was a great host, very communicative and kind, and frankly the value for money was astonishing. Would absolutely go again. The Xmas decorations were a lovely touch.

Giovanni's place was perfect for our weekend trip to Brooklyn. It was spacious and located near the C-train which, as Giovanni says, will take you just about everywhere you want to go. It was really kind of Giovanni to let us check in early so that we could drop our bags and start exploring. We'd definitely return for another stay.

This place was comfortable for our family of 6, which included 4 teenagers. Giovanni thought of everything. The kitchen really has everything you need to make a meal while staying there. We cooked breakfast every morning before heading out. The Subway station is a quick and easy walk. It was so nice to come back and chill out (warm up) after spending all day in the city!

Exactly as advertised and Giovanni was an excellent, knowledgeable host. We'd be happy to stay there if we return to New York.

Perfect accommodation for visiting New York! Next to the metro (line 2/5) perfect for visiting all of New York (45min to go to Colombia University). The host is very attentive to our stay and the accommodation very comfortable.

Awesome host! Jason is quick with replies and is very accommodating. The subway is super close which is nice but keep in mind you’ll be ~45 min out from the city. Other than that this is great place to lay your head.

Here's what you can expect; a great place, period. It was really clean when we went. It was more spacious than what Jason's pictures depict. Man, it was just an overall great experience. Just note; the Beverly Road Station is really only minutes away. However, if most of your trip revolves around places in Manhattan, expect a 30-40 minute trek back.

This was our (my best friend and I) first time in NYC. We were a little nervous about not knowing nah of the areas and feeling safe but this AirBNB was amazing! It was right by a bunch of really fun bars, the little shop right next door was super cute. It is 3 stories up and the stair case was a little steep, so keep that in mind while packing! We packed all of our stuff in a backpack, which was ideal in this situation. We didn’t use any of the amenities in the house (kitchen, TV, etc) but everything was very clean and tidy. The bathroom is small but just what we needed. Being from Florida, neither of us have ever used/seen a radiator, which is what keeps the place warm. One night we got back and it was making a strange noise (to us) and I texted the owner and he was quick to respond and said that was normal as it adjusts to the temperature (for those of you who don’t have experiences with radiators). It was also super close to Time Square. We would absolutely stay here again! As two women in a big city, we felt very safe here, which was super important to us!

The flat its gonna make you feel like in your home if you are looking for a comfortable place to stayed this one is the correct for you. It’s really close to times squares and for the subways station. The flat it’s clean and Ethan it’s a great host.

Great place all round! Ethan was very helpful particularly with suggestions to nice local restaurants. The check in and out was extremely flexible, he will work around you as best as possible! The location of the apartment is second to none, brilliant to access all the main sight seeing areas as well as bars, restaurants and the subway! The apartment holds a very warm cosy atmosphere which is perfect to relax in when you come in from walking around New York for 12 hours a day! The additional facilities inside the apartment other then the normal appliances are very beneficial to have..great Tv, Wifi, dishwasher, ( huge frost-free fridge/freezer for lots of wine, beer and snacks!), hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I would like to thank Ethan once again for a spectacular stay and I highly recommend booking this apartment.

The location is great - away from the Times Sq noise but close enough for transport convenience. The playground next door was a nice touch for the kids as well. It is a prewar 2nd floor walk-up, so definitely not for people with issues on the stairs or lifting luggage. One of the beds is not exactly comfortable, so it may be a problem if you have more than one person with back issues in your party. But overall, we had a great stay, and communication was very smooth. We checked in super late due to our late flight, but Kelly greeted us with a smile. Thank you!

This place is AMAZING - the pictures don’t do it justice (the tub is a jacuzzi!)!! Carol and Marc were consummate hosts, their hospitality generous without being intrusive. The location is so close to the subway, we were able to easily travel throughout the city with no trouble at all, and the area was and felt safe at all times. Ahhhhh :) what an amazing way to experience NYC. Firstly entering the apartment via an elevator set the mood immediately for the most new yorky stay ever! The apartment is amazing, all the beds all comfy, the shower lush, and the location brilliant. So much quieter than staying Central, which we loved. But not far away from anything! Close to subway and bus stops. And if you are tired (or have tired kids who don’t want to walk after you’ve been to the theatre) an Uber doesn’t break the bank to here either. Marc is just the sweetest gentleman and Carol is just lovely. Felt safe, felt welcome. Thank you guys :) I hope our paths cross again. Big loves xx

Cute little place and very convenient. We were able to leave the rental car on the street the whole time we were there and took public transportation everywhere.

Really nice place to stay, everything was spotless clean. Really nice personal touches as snack and coffee, washing machine and dryer for free ( really helpful if you don’t want to carry to much clothes with you). Place is on nice street we felt really safe there. Lot’s of shops around and easy to get around.

Maggie’s place was a great value for what it was. It is very small and private because it is an entire room but also it is part of an apartment style building so you can hear when people enter and also footsteps upstairs at times, private space but keep that in mind. The entire space is very small so keep that in mind also. About a 15 minute walk to the closest train station and then an hour subway ride usually into the city if you’re planning to do tourist attractions.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maggie's studio. It was charming and quant, small living area, but manageable for 1-2 people, though a very tight kitchenette area. Close to groceries and the subway station to get into Manhattan. Though getting back late at night proved difficult on our last evening, that's not Maggie's fault though. Check in was quick, simple, and well instructed by Maggie beforehand. The room is beautifully decorated, has great amenities, and is squeaky clean!

I had never been to New York before this trip and really did not know what the expect. But, this house definitely made me feel like home in the big Apple. The apartments has a real fresh, modern style that was set up really nice. The subway station was also around the corner that will take you up and down the heart of manhattan. The area also has plenty of delicious inexpensive food places. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends

Fernando is a wonderfully communicative host who has put a lot of thoughts into what his guests might appreciate and/or need while they are away from home (e.g. soda, water, snacks, full sized shampoo and conditioner, shaving cream, rubber bands, razor, Kleenex, etc.) He is also friendly and very responsive to some minor issues that came up during my stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and well-kept, and wonderfully warm after 20 degree weather. There are places at both ends of the apartment that are obviously used for private storage and not meant for guests so you'll see some clutter. Lastly, the stairs leading down to the place are narrow and the floor is uneven in some spots.

Very nice basement apartment with all the amenities including a Keurig and provided snacks and refreshments. Comfortable beds and cozy living area with a large TV and plenty of seating. Very easy unit access and fast check in process with the host - highly recommended!

Fernando was a great host! Highly recommend his place. It’s a six minute walk to the nearest subway station. Fernando answered all of our tourist questions and was very helpful. He keeps water and soda in the fridge and little snacks on the table along with two coffee machines, plates, cups, and utensils. Bathroom was also well stocked with bath and hygiene products. The place was very clean and organized. Fernando let us check in early and allowed us to leave our bags after check out because we had a late flight back home. Overall, our experience was very positive and I highly recommend him and his place.

Hidden gem in midtown Manhattan. Location is about the best you can find on Airbnb and the space is very clean. My sheets were changed on the third day I was there and the room was cleaned as well,!which was so sweet. This studio apartment is also silent and Marco’s family lives opposite it in case you need their help for anything (they are very welcoming)

A wonderful location at a wonderful price— the Loft's location is so conveniently close to Central Park and the subway station! My friend and I visited NYC for three nights to sightsee, and the Loft was a great place to come home to after a day of city-wandering. The AirBNB description is accurate and transparent about the room, the stairs, and the loft height. None of these were issues for my friend or I, and we loved the space. The amenities (shower, towels, guidebooks, TV) are very thoughtful, and Kevin's clear communication helped greatly with the check-in/check-out process. Highly recommend to travelers looking for a good location. *If you want to rent a space with the same location but without the loft stairs/height, Kevin has a listing for the other room ("Comfy UWS Room near Central Park & Times Square") in the apartment! Either way, the location is a true gem.

The apartment was very stylish and gave us a feel of being locals...the typical NY brownstone apartment experience, which we enjoyed. The hosts were also great, helping us with directions and giving us subway/bus information. A tv in the bedroom would have been nice, but overall we had a good experience here and would highly recommend Sophie as a host!

Sophie and Sergio were great hosts and my boyfriend and I loved staying in the space! It was a great location, right by Central Park, the MET, and various grocery stores/restaurants/etc as well as several subway stations, making it really easy to get everywhere. Both hosts were communicative and really considerate. The space was so nice and a really good value for a few nights in NYC. The nice touches around the apartment were very cool too.

The place was a nice area, super close to the metro but I would avoid the projects at night (for obvious reasons). The room was small, but it’s new york so it def worked for two people. Sergio let us drop off out luggage early so we could enjoy the town and put it in our room at check in for us. The area was noisy since it’s close to a emergency dispatch station and you are going to hear people yelling outside the window but I slept fine, and at times found the drunk yelling funny. Sophie and Sergio were very quick with their responses and accommodating, with our flight flew in early. I liked the touch of art in the apartment, with some pieces, I believe Sergio painted, since they were signed. Would def recommend.

Micheal is a great host, he was kind to welcome us with details such as waffles and fruits, he explained the basics about the neighborhood and the city. Its apartment is comfortable and cozy, well equipped and above all it has a very good location just a few steps from the subway, which allows you to move around the city, also has supermarkets and good restaurants a few meters away.

to book with your eyes closed .... the location is great, 5 minutes from the metro which takes you to Time Square and downtown NY ... a supermarket opposite the metro station .... the studio is good, a mezzanine bed and a sofa bed for a family of 4 is perfect! We find in the studio the first necessities, very practical (salt, sugar, toilet paper, paper towel, shower gel ....) ... Michael is a very nice host who gives advice the first day ... which is very available. He even kept our suitcases on the last day since we took off at 9:30 pm !! ... I highly recommend !! Thank you again we had a great stay

Michael’s place is centrally located to a lot of Harlem attractions such as Apollo Theater & Jazz History Museum. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. It’s a super cute space and I’d definitely book it again. The subway and buses were a short walk from the loft. Micheal also provided snacks and drinks which came in handy!

Michael is an incredibly friendly, funny and accommodating host, the apartment is extremely charming: not an anonymous vacation rental, but rather a personal studio, high ceilings and terrace are great! Quiet and in a good location, the Brownstone House is a perfect starting point to discover Harlem (Red Rooster around the corner) and the rest of NYC (one subway line in about 5 minutes, two more in 10 minutes).

The place has everything you need and really gives you that ny feel. We absolutely loved the space. It has a loft bed, and two pull outs so I’d say it could sleep 5-6 people. Cable, WiFi, right by the local attractions in Harlem. We loved it! He also helps you get to wherever you need to go so ask all the questions you need to! Michael was very pleasant and cant wait to go back.

Sincerely, my friends and I had doubts about the location, but in the end everything was perfect, Michael had every possible attention and left us with many extra details, accessibility to meters and trucks nearby, the description fits perfectly with the place and everything excellent, to have a good time and sleep comfortably.

This place is amazing, but don’t rent it because I might be wanting to stay there when you do. :) Seriously though, amazing host, great place, perfectly located, all you need for a stay in the West Village.

My daughter and I recently stayed at Daniels’ apartment for 3 weeks and had an amazing stay. This may be a long review as there’s so much to say so I’ll divide it into sections to help the reader: Location: I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Manhattan now that I’ve stayed in West Village. The apartment is close to subway lines (Christopher Street a 5-minute walk for local trains and 14th Street for Express trains - 10 min walk). But to be honest we walked A LOT everywhere. This really is an ideal location for exploring all of Manhattan. A 10-minute walk to Pier 45 on the Hudson River (lots of events) and beautiful views; a 10-minute walk to the bottom end of the High Line – and then maybe 30 minutes along here to Hudson Yards and Chelsea Market a 15-minute walk (max). The local grocery store is a 5-minute walk. Location is amazing! So many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Apartment: For the one review on here that complains about the size of the apartment this is NYC! Let’s get real – there’s not the space in NYC for Australian or Texan size apartments. The space is as advertised – compact and well designed to accommodate 2 people, BUT my husband joined my daughter and I for the last 3 nights of our stay and she slept on the couch no problem. It was cozy but functional (she is a 17-year-old ballerina though so TINY) but it was absolutely fine. I wouldn’t recommend this for 3 people for a longer stay though but for 2 people this apartment is great. I would say it’s the size of an average hotel room in Manhattan BUT it is so well designed that it is incredibly functional. Whilst my daughter was dancing I worked from the apartment – putting the murphy bed away and the large desk down takes less then 5 minutes. My only concern when I booked the apartment was closet space (I do have a 17-year-old dancer on my hands!) but this is AMAZING – so much storage space. We easily fit all of our clothes, shoes etc. in the closets – as well as our two large empty suitcases (there is a storage locker available downstairs though if you need it). I cannot even describe how much storage space there is – it’s incredible – way better than any hotel room storage. The bathroom is a really good size and my daughter took full advantage of the Japanese soaking tub for her aching muscles after dancing all day. Having high speed WIFI was great and although we didn’t watch TV much it was great to have so many channels to choose from when we did. OK the kitchen is not going to allow you to cook a five-course dinner for 10 people, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The microwave / oven / toaster combo works really well and with a coffee maker, toaster, 2 gas rings and a sizeable fridge / freezer – what else do you need? Having the washer / dryer was also a big plus point for me. Some things to note – the bed is squeaky, but you get used to it and it didn’t stop us sleeping soundly. The air con is noisy but again we just got used to it. It didn’t disturb our sleep at all – and often we turned it off just before going to bed anyway. There is some street noise but its only as people are passing on their way home from the bars / restaurants and only at weekends. Again, you are in West Village – we expected this for a lively, vibrant neighborhood – you can’t have great restaurants and bars at your fingertips without expecting some noise. Host: OK I saved the best to last. Daniel (and his VERY helpful sidekick Frank who lives in the apartment below) are quite honestly two of the most helpful, nicest and responsive people I have had the pleasure of coming across. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. Daniel was flexible with times of us arriving and departing based on our flight times and responded to all of my questions / suggestions within MINUTES! Literally nothing was too much trouble for him – even to my 8pm plea of “how do we use the faucet on the tub lol!!!!” Frank being on-site was incredible and this guy literally lugged my daughter’s heavy suitcase up the stairs for her!!! Amazing – I love Daniel and Frank. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. I’ve only stayed in a couple of Airbnb’s or VRBO’s, but Daniel is by far the best and most responsive host I’ve come across. Thank you both so much for making our stay so much easier! Summary: My daughter and I had an INCREDIBLE time in NYC – the apartment, it’s location and hosts made this so incredible. This is a 5 star ++++++++ rating and I wouldn’t even bother looking at anywhere else to stay should I go back to NYC – it would be here every time. Don’t look any further – just book this – you won’t regret it!

Daniel’s studio apartment was small was extremely well-appointed and nicely decorated with lots of storage space. It had everything you needed plus a washer/dryer! Daniel was a responsive host and although he lives out of town his friend who handles check in and anything else needed has a place in the building. Best of all the apartment is located in the best part of the West Village, with dozens of bars, restaurants, shops, nearby, and both main subway lines a short walk. I highly recommend Daniel’s place, and I know it well, having stayed three months.

I stayed at Daniel’s apartment whilst on assignment for an NYC project. Daniel and his team Frank and Rita were amazing! Super communicative, friendly and accommodating, these people truly care about your stay! The apartment is stylish, well appointed and very clean. Perfect for a single or a couple. The building is very secure and well maintained (not always the case in nyc). The apartment is located in the heart of the West Village which in my opinion is the most charming neighborhood in the city. Thanks Daniel for a great 1 month stay in your apartment. The location in the heart of the west village can't be beat. The location is like a quite retreat from the busy center of Manhattan, with tree lined streets and charming architecture. This is the place to stay if you want the 'New York' made famous in all the films and on TV (Carries place from Sex & The City & the 'Friends' apartment buildings are both a 2 minute walk around the corner). Theres world class restaurants + cafe's (like Magnolia Bakery) within easy walking distance along with a supermarket and local deli's. Making your way uptown is a nice walk or subway ride at a nearby station. The actual apartment is very clean, and size wise is fine for a single or couple. The amenities are great and having a washing machine + dryer was a welcome luxury especially while travelling. There's also a weekly maid service to top things off. Would very happily stay again. 10/10.

Tim was an absolutely amazing host to me and my mom! He was very quick to respond to our texts and easy to communicate with, and just the right balance of friendliness and privacy. The apartment was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It does get loud at night but earplugs come with the room, and the noise didn’t really bother us. Overall a dream of a stay in NYC. Definitely recommend!

Tim's place is a cozy bedroom in an amazing location. Tim was very responsive and the communication was great. Loved the earplugs thoughtful touch! Slightly pricey with the cleaning fee and taxes but that's NYC for you!

The place is as described, exactly what you see on the photo's. The area is very nice, calm, no trafic noise at night. Michelle is very quick to respond and very helpful, a great host. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay here again. There isn't a full kitchen, but who needs a full kitchen when you're on vacation! With a microwave and a little 2-burner, plus a water can, it's really all you need. Plus there is a small refrigerator as well with a mini freezer. Perfect for friends travelling together. My daughter and I had a great time, so thank you Michelle for hosting us! As we would say in Belgium: Jij verdient één pluim! (You deserve a feather!)

Michelle delivered an extremely safe and comfortable experience which was something I was nervous about, having never used an Airbnb. The space is extremely nice and much bigger than I expected. Michelle was such a caring and host and did everything she could to make sure I had the best experience!

This is a spacious comfortable space with everything that you need. It is convenient to subway and restaurants and Michelle is only a message away to answer any questions you might have. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Quite new to Air bnb, so was delighted

Spacious appartments. Everything a little aged (except restroom and shower). For three adults it was fine. We used the sofa for the third person. If you don't mind sleeping only on one side of the sofa (in the middle there is a gap) it's ok. We cannot say anything about the air-matress. Missing dishes/cutlery were brought by Michelle immediatelly. You can hear other guests upstairs, but it's not annoying. I would recommend the appartment for everybody who doesn't want to be in Manhattan. Supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance. Very quiet neighborhood.

The apartment is VERY well located and the boys very responsive. From the picture the room seems to be bigger than it really is. We were two people, we settled well, but tightly. It is a small bedroom with double bed, comfortable duvets in a well divided ap. We had no problems with the other guests (on the contrary, we made friends), nor in sharing bathroom. We do not wait once. They are super organized, had space for us separate in the fridge, the bathroom and everything very well explained in the ap. They were super cool about early check in and everything I needed. Not only would it indicate, it would stay there as well upon returning to NY. It is very close to the subway and the neighborhood is very very quiet! Thank you, boys! ;)

Very nice place. Very well located, safe neighborhood with good restaurants and shops nearby and with easy access to subway and bus. I had to walk alone sometimes late at night and I didn’t feel uncomfortable or threatened, nice people in the neighborhood. Hosts were helpful and attentive! House was clean and organized. I had one question about the shower one day and the host promptly responded to my messages, helping me as quickly as possible. Super nice place to stay while in New York City!!

Bridgett’s place was exactly what I wanted and needed in a Brooklyn AirBnB. 1. Kitties. It was so comforting to have kitties around when I go out of town. It’s hard to be away from my fur baby! 2. Awesome suggestions and accurate directions. These allowed me to wear the guise of a hip Brooklynite (at least I hope!) 3. We are all used to certain amenities and having to do without them when we travel. Not the case with Bridgett’s place. Mostly I’m referring to the bidet attachment in the bathroom. It’s literally refreshing to be in good company with folks who know how to properly clean themselves. 4. location! Bridgett’s place was so conveniently located to the metro, great coffee, doughnuts, ramen, bagels...anything you want is no more than 10-15 walk away. If I didn’t have to be in midtown 3/4 days I was there, I would have gladly stayed in Brooklyn for the entirety of the trip.

Great location with a huge diversity of restaurants, stores and people. Easy commute to either subway station from their apartment. Super clean rooms and adorable friendly cats. I will be on the look out for this place when I come back to the city.

Bridgett and Michael are amazing hosts! Their place is cozy with plenty of sunlight in the bedroom, and it comes with a private entrance. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, snacks, coffee, tea etc. They are very thoughtful of their guests' needs and provide NYC guidebook, subway maps, umbrellas (quite useful during our trip) and even a noise cancelling machine! My husband and I loved staying at their place and we highly recommend it 🙂

Best Airbnb in BROOKLYN

A place very close to two metro stations of different lines which allowed an excellent mobilization, the house inside always with cold heating, the water could be regulated without problems, the refrigerator kept very well the state of the food we bought , the bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable, a view towards the very beautiful and very bright storage room, we had no security or theft problems, our things stayed in the living room the last day and nothing happened to them. The instructions given by adeyemi are clear and precise, impossible to miss. Adeyemi has been one of the best hosts we have ever met.

Sophie’s place was in a great location and only a couple blocks from the subway. The apartment was great and we felt at home.

Three of us stayed at Evan and Maria for a week, aiming for sightseeing of NYC. Apartment is in very safe and quiet location, comfortable and very clean. Everything is according to the description and photos. 24/7 grocery store just behind the corner. Two metro stations are in distance of 8 minutes walk. Thanks to very good location, use of subway is not necessary, bit longer walk and you reach Empire State, Chrysler, Times Square, 5th Ave, Grand Central etc. We have encountered a problem with bed linen at the beginning, but it was solved immediately. Owners were very helpful through all of our stay, responding instantly, solving our problems with great care. A lot of amenities are available in the apartment, useful things in kitchen and bathroom. Be aware that there is no view from the windows, just wall, shady, but it gives very quiet nights and comfortable sleep, perfect after whole day of visiting busy city. I recommend Evan and Maria as hosts.

Nurcan's place is worth staying while visiting near york, many grocery stores around, coffee shops and walk few minutes around 5min to get to 46th st bliss station where you can take a train to Manhattan. I highly recommend this place and the price is relatively fair for this place.

Nora’s appartment is very well located with a lot of close subway limes that allow you to explore Manhattan very quickly. Its a very clean and cosy private suite. Nora is an excepcional host and leave her guests completly at ease! When I return to NY I will certainly look for this appartment again.

Nora was lovely and a great host. She was very communicative, helpful with the earlier check in and very friendly. The flat was in a great location with great bars and restaurants near by as well as subway stations and bus stops. Flat was lovely and the room was great with the private bathroom (which I found hard to find in New York). Would recommend staying there and we would happily stay there again!

The bright place is an apt name for the apartment as well as for Nora, who is a wonderful hostess! The place is conveniently located near great eats of all varieties is just steps from China town and convenient to all things in South East Manhatten. If you drive, Confusious Parking is $40 earlybird before 11 am and just a 10 min walk.

If you’re traveling to NYC do yourself a favor and stay here! The room is beautiful with the a stunning private bathroom. It blew my expectations out of the water. I felt safe in the area and there were many things to do. Nora was so sweet and warm- I felt welcome.

Nora’s place is accessible to a number of Subway stations so it’s easy to get uptown, across to Brooklyn, or down to the lower part of Manhattan. The neighbourhood has lots of bars, restaurants and shops & Nora has really helpfully put together a list of places she recommends. Felt really safe in the area - it’s busy and well lit. All in all a brilliant base for exploring other parts of Manhattan!

I had a lovely stay at Sonias place. She made me feel welcome, the place was as described and everything was super clean. Quiet flatmates and a good neighborhood.

Sonia's place is spotlessly clean! The kitchen is well sized with all the amenities needed. The room itself is spacious for a single room with a very comfortable bed. The TV in the room has loads of channels as well as access to your Netflix. Sonia's place is well located in Queens. It's no longer than a 15 minute walk from Fresh Pond Street subway station. From there you can catch the M train which can get you to midtown Manhattan in just under 50 minutes. I only had two brief encounters with Sonia (Check-in and check-out) due to my constant sightseeing throughout the week. She seems to be a very warm helpful person. And gave me advice on the best way to get to JFK from her place. I have read many reviews which mention how nice and helpful she is. I would definitely stay there again!

I had a such a wonderful experience at Eden’s apartment. It is in an amazing location, around corner from Central Park, close to the Times Square for theater and cool restaurants, and also close to the majority of subway stations. Such a cool area. The apartment itself is beautiful and very comfortable staying. I already missed my time there. Eden was awesome host and helped us get settled in. He gave me all great tips for getting around the area.

This apartment is perfect to enjoy a NYC experience: clean, safe, convenient, quiet - lots of light! Walkable score of 10 out of 10! Walk to many NYC’s attractions: Central Park, Times Square, Columbus Circle, Museums and so many more. Close to major public transportation: subway lines, buses, Amtrak, NJTransit, etc. Owners were responsive and answered all of our questions and offered perfect suggestions for restaurants, groceries, deliveries. We will be back :)

The location of the Leon Hotel is amazing. From our window we had a view over Manhattan Bridge and a park where Chinese were doing their tai chi in the morning. From the front door of the hotel you have a great view of the skyline of lower Manhattan including the One World Tower. Located in the heart of Chinatown, the hotel is surrounded by great eateries and bars. Soho and Brooklyn are in walking distance from the hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful and everything was super clean. One suggestion we gave the hotel is to keep the general heating a bit lower. We turned the one in our room off, but the heat creeped under the door. Therefore we had to have our window open at all time. There’s quite a bit of noise outside, which the double glazing keeps our, but not when the window is open obviously. Great hotel in general! Highly recommend it.

Great location to be in! Near Chinatown and Soho and a small walk to the train station. Room was clean and as expected and we got a great view of the Manhattan bridge from our room!

Located about a 9 minute walk from the closest subway station (pretty standard for NYC!) in a totally fun part of Chinatown past Little Italy. We were able to leave our luggage a before our checkin time. Beautiful, clean, and one of the biggest hotel rooms we’ve ever had staying in NYC which was unexpected because it was the lowest price of any we’ve used - will definitely be staying there again!

What can you expect from The Leon Hotel? Clean, cozy rooms, nice sheets, an amazing shower.... and I do mean, AMAZING, fast and convenient check-in, and a Popeye's restaurant just outside the door. The city noise isn't too bad, even on the lower floors, but it is audible. But, hey, this is New York. If you like TV all of Spectrum cable looks to be available on the telly in the room. Our stay was very comfortable and the view of the Manhattan Bridge right outside our window, which included a window seat, was especially cool. The hotel is very conveniently located to everything Greenwich Village has to offer, in addition to Chinatown, Little Italy, lower Manhattan, as well as subways very close by. We will definitely stay there again if they'll have us.

Awesome place to stay for a really great price! Very central location. Easy access to pharmacies, grocery store and restaurants. About a five min walk to metro. Truly recommend! There was even a small heat in the room that was super handy for the cold nights in the city!

Fantastic Airbnb within walking distance to many things NYC has to offer. Seemed like a very safe and quiet neighborhood as well. Communication was AMAZING. First, I got step by step instructions with pictures. Second, anytime I send a message, I got responses back within a few minutes. Room and bathroom were very clean. It was nice having an AC and heating unit in the room so I could adjust the temperature to my liking. There are a few other rooms in the apartment, but I did not see one single person and I stayed here for 2 nights!! Lastly, my flight didn’t depart until later in the day, so they let me keep the apartment key and keep my bags in the living room until I departed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting NYC. Very budget friendly as well!

It was very clean, they have clear, reasonable expectations for the space that make it comfortable for all, and they communicated quickly and clearly. The location is safe and convenient to so much! We both walked and used the 6 train to get around.

Everything as described,no issues,the host was quick with the response and everything very well setup for easy check in check out,also great that we had the option to leave the luggage in the living before and after check in checkout. Beautiful, comfortable and very spacious. The photos supplied are spot on. Close to everything and the washer/dryer combo is a godsend for international travellers after three weeks abroad. Tiphanie was a wonderful host and ensured my comfort by having outside lights on for me due to a late night check-in and having heaters running inside. Only a 15 min car ride to JFK. Highly recommended!

Tiphanie’s space is amazing. The pictures are very accurate. What you see is definitely what you get! Tiphanie has more than enough cleaning supplies for your stay as well , I was very much surprised ! The tv has a fire stick which was absolutely great for me because i’m always on netflix ! The coffee maker added a great touch too , didnt have to leave for a morning cup of coffee. Overall my stay at Tiphanies was amazing and i highly recommend.
